Unprofessional Service Experience at Starbucks,I arrived at the location at 8:28 PM, and despite the posted closing time of 9:00 PM on Google, I was denied service. I was at the drive-thru speaker when the clock turned to 8:30 PM, at which point I was informed that the store was closed at 8:30. When I mentioned the discrepancy in the hours listed on Google, the response was dismissive and unprofessional, with a sarcastic remark about Google not being their responsibility.What made me particularly upset was that instead of honestly informing me that they were closing earlier than the posted time, I was left at the drive-thru until they closed. If they had simply explained that they were closing a few minutes early for cleaning or other reasons, I would have understood and appreciated the honesty.Furthermore, when I inquired about contacting the manager, I was told to call in the morning. I then called the store while still on the premises, and the same person who spoke to me at the drive-thru denied being the same individual. I am certain that I was hearing the same voice.As a business owner myself, I understand the importance of maintaining accurate business hours online and ensuring that all staff members handle customer interactions professionally. The behavior I encountered falls short of the standards I expect from Starbucks.This incident has significantly affected my view of Starbucks, and I will be hesitant to return or recommend Starbucks until I see improvements in customer service and professionalism.

7:10pm and the doors are looked, yet the Starbucks app, the sign on the door, and Google all say its open. If you have a legit reason for closing early, put a note on the door or change your hours.

Well I ordered a fresh brew coffee size grande from this Starbucks. When I left out the door I tasted my coffee there’s no cream & sugar added. I came back & asked the Barista, then I mixed the sugar & cream. A few weeks later I reviewed my credit card statement this Starbucks charged me extra 2.00 for service fee. I was mad because the Starbucks barista didn’t put sugar & cream in my coffee and I have to mix it myself. How is it fair to charge me an extra service fee or tip. This is not right!

Everything about this starbucks is perfect their customer service is amazing Mai and Luis are the nicest people with 10/10 customer service i highly recommend this starbucks great service great drinks!

Since I moved to La Mesa, its become routine to get Starbucks everyday, and this is by far my favorite. Not only can I get the best and quickest coffee compared to all of the other Starbucks locations in the area, but the baristas here - shout outs to Rocky, Ken, Taylor, Annabelle, Kellie and the rest I see less often! - are really genuinely nice people who have given me the best sense of community Ive had since moving to California.

Near a charter school so be aware of busy times but otherwise staff was amazing and very friendly even when faced with challenging situations

Because of Mea a barista and a wonderful person who always is smiling and genuinely down to earth and a pleasure to see daily. I drive 20 minutes out of my way 3 days a week to order coffee from - so on top of my order attentive and definitely that kid is going places in life keep up the fantastic energy and work it does N O T go in noticed!!bravo!
