NO RESTROOM.After a 3 hour drive to La Jolla, I had to use the restroom badly. Walking up and down the rows of businesses, nobody had a restroom they would let me use. I was told that the Starbucks definitely had a restroom that I could use.The barista was rude and said they did have a bathroom but I couldnt use it. Even after I told her I just drove 3 hours and I was going to have an accident.Looking at the reviews, it looks like they did allow the public to use their restroom within the last 6 months. So what changed?Running a business in a tourist location and not providing bathroom access is insanity.

One of the female cashier/barista is quite rude! They want you to leave the store immediately. İ know that this is a pick up Starbucks but they act super weird and rude even if you buy a coffee and stand there for a minute. The guys are fine.

We went to buy a coffee and some snacks while we waited for the waitlist to eat somewhere else. we only bought coffee and snacks because we wanted to sit there, and they took us out of the place and told us that we could not sit down, since we had bought everything. If from the beginning they had told us that we could not stay, we would not have bought anything. In the end we had to sit on a bench.

The staff are so nice and friendly! I was missing my wallet and short 45 cents, but they covered it for me! I will have to go back and drop off a tip later today. Thanks a lot! I really appreciate it ! I will pay it forward :)

Nowhere to sit and no restrooms.They used to have seating but they removed it, so you have to take your food or drinks to go and find someplace else to sit.Just a bunch of customers standing around waiting for their orders. Pretty weird you cant sit down.

This Starbucks needs help, the cashier a lady was super nice but the barista isn’t the best at it, he messed up on 2 of our orders and while I don’t mind mistakes and I know it can happen he had a bad attitude towards my friend so we left all disappointed of the service, my drink had a spill and looked bad I will for sure try to not come back to this starbucks.

Love my morning coffee, just another Thursday crazy morning thought I would stop by for a ice coffee to start my day. Look! Im for customer service but when you let someone cut in line because you know them, it is not right and makes a business look bad. Like all SB coffee its good but this store is in La Jolla Village. There needs to be an area to enjoy coffee both inside and outside. This has to be the most boring SB in San Diego which completely surprises me because of where it is located on Prospect near the beach voted the most beautiful beach in the US. Really???

We stopped in right in the nick of time before they closed for the Christmas holiday. We were grateful that they were open at all. Our drinks were tasty. I wasn’t a fan of the public folks that were there (and around town), but I wanted to leave this 5* review for the staff who took a major hammering from a number of customers that surrounded us. And another shout out to Christine for handling the bar like a major pro!

My drink was made well and I had no complaints about that. The store itself is small but well kept. The line was a little big and moved at a good pace. Overall it wasnt anything that blew me away but it was a great experience which I really had no complaints about. It was just a Starbucks that did things right.

Fast service, nice people, clean cafe. We did something we never do - we ran into a store 5 minutes before they were closing. We were desperate and no other coffee shops in the area were open, so we dove in and they were helping one other customer. We were the last ones before they locked the door. Thank you for letting us order! We dont think we could have gotten home on our 2 hour drive without you!

This is the rudest service I have ever had at Starbucks. I placed my order at 7:25 and the girl taking the orders was dismissive and very “bothered/ bored doing her job. I spent a decent amount of $$ and asked if I could use the rest room. The girl rudely told me, while placing a barrier between me and the bathroom, that they are closing the bathroom for the night as they have to clean it before they close at 8:00. She told me to use the restroom at the “ pink hotel “ next door. I wonder if the “pink hotel “ knows about this arrangement . I spent a lot of $$ at Starbucks and realize that they don’t really need me to support them. I asked for a refund that was granted and left my 2 drinks at the counter. We went up the road to the next Starbucks and had the most welcoming experience and was able to use their bathroom:-)

The staff is fine letting homeless inside the store who harass customers. My pregnant wife and I were standing in line and a homeless man walked in and whispered in every females ear. When he got b to my wife I had him back away and then he proceeded to fame cough and sneeze and spit all over me. The staff was well aware and chose to ignore this without asking him to leave. The spitting and coughing happened while my wife was orderering where the lady taking our order acted as if he was invisible and that nothing was wrong. This is unacceptable on so many parts where the staff should have asked him to leave. They seemed too comfortable and used to this. We wont be coming back to this location again.

This Starbucks is right in the center of a high end district full of fine restaurants, high end shopping and art galleries. They get swamped and they don’t seem to have enough staff to keep the orders flowing and to keep the cafe clean. There was lots of garbage on the floor, glass doors were dirty and service was slow.

Okay folks this is the Starbucks on mission avenue in Pacific Beach. You probably know Starbucks and this is a Starbucks. Youll enjoy it. Always pretty busy, no surprise there. I stopped in three times over my weekend in the area. the staff that took care of me where exceedingly friendly and helpful. The patrons were youre wonderful southern California residence, a diverse group of young and old. Your latte awaits!

Worst Starbucks I have ever been too... Wednesday night not that busy first day of the year and not honoring the fantastic Starbucks name. The whole place was dirty and the staff were totally rude to not only me but the couple of people in front and behind me. The boy on staff, Austin, was texting behind the counter and not bothering with his job. And the blond girl on staff was not being good at hosting anyone by being very rude. And the brown haired girl Kayla, who I supposed was the manager, was in the back messing around on her phone as well... After all of this I am very ashamed at Starbucks for who they hire and that their staff could not maintain their store properly... Not to mention they closed down the bathroom because no one bothered to clean it....

This was the worst starbucks experience I have ever had. I have been to several different Starbucks shops and this was just awful. Dirty, disrespectful and a bad experience. The 3 kids that were working there were behind the cash complaining about their job, texting, and the girl in the back was on the computer (seemed to be watching TV). On behalf of that, their bathroom was closed simply because they did not want to clean it. They said it was due to chemicals but obviously a bathroom wouldnt be closed down for several hours due to that. I myself had to use the restroom and the kid working there told me to go next door. It was super unwelcoming and I will probably never go to this Starbucks again. Also the fact that my drink was ice cold and I was unable to put any sugar or cream in it because there was water and spilled tea all over the counter made me super upset.

Worst service ever! The young, white male barista just didn’t care to even try to do his job! Every order he made, something came out wrong! To top it off, his behavior towards customers when confronted about HIS mistakes made it even worse. If you’re apologetic about what your mistakes, ppl will definitely understand. We’re all humans, we all make mistakes! But his attitude towards us, PAYING CUSTOMERS was just horrible! For statbucks, I was astonished!!

I did it and I came back for some water while I was waiting. I asked her again and she told me whiteout manners to make the line and order a drink if I wanted water.
