Wonderful service! Great tasting coffee! Yet limited seating.First time visiting this Starbucks. Was greeted with a friendly smile from Gricelda. There is a really nice mural. This location just needs more seating. Found it odd that with such a large dining area there were only five small tables.

This Starbucks is in a very convenient location on the corner in LA. Great spot if you might be on foot. Furthermore, the interior is very clean with plenty of space. There is music playing in the background which sets a pleasant atmosphere. The staff were very friendly with my large order and were able to make it fast without any errors.

People need to stop putting 5 stars when this place is clearly trash. If it was owned by a mom n pop, theres a guarantee thatd be shut down by now. BUTT since its starbucks they just make people pay expensive prices like sheep. Try other places or just avoid. Nobody should be harassed or mugged during a coffe break lol.???

Went here mainly to cool off in the ac. Ordered a frozen lemonade which was excellent. Best thing about this place is it didnt smell like coffee! Im not a coffee drinker and just the smell of it makes me vomit. This Starbucks had no coffee smell at all. It was great. Kinda weird as it as a coffee shop but good for me!

Great customer service from Jose. Was really kind and generous and helped me decide between drinks, as indecisive as I was about it. Made some small talk with me and was patient. All this while it being 15 minutes from closing. Just a good experience.

The gentleman taking our order was a bit short towards my friend. Quick to temper and comfortable in being sarcastic towards Guests I realize that my friends ordered right at closing time but I dont care, the employees closing the store can continue closing the store, only one employee was necessary to make the coffees, one to keep an eye on the after hours window, but the rest of the time could help close.

It was Okey I had to meet someone there so I usely dont go in because its to expensive for me I live on a government check but I ordered a hot chocolate with whipped cream on it yes it was very expensive the hot chocolate was Okey while I waited for this person to show by the way this person never showed up I waited a half a hour longer just in case this person was running late but while I was waiting this nice man was sitting at a table by himself and I asked him if he would share the table he said yes we talked about a half a hour and he left the employee was nice and friendly plus most of you know Im in a power wheelchair yes you can get in and out in a wheelchair it was very quiet

Great place to people-watch! The manager is amazing with customer service. Unimpressed with the customer service considering all the homeless and transients that come in. God bless the homeless. Not a pleasant experience, just frustrating. Too many people with mental issues that make starbucks their day time home. The stink from homeless is just out of question! Cleanliness is almost impossible. Id like to think that they do clean, but the self prep area is always dirty. I wish they had a time limit to enforce on people so they do not stay there all day. Not to mention I am only there waiting for my drink, but they are still there trying to bother people because they can and they have miserable life and just trying to throw insults to other people for no reason. I have to ignore them every single time I come here.I wish this place was managed better (cleanliness, peaceful, and had respectful atmosphere.)The employees are simply hard working people whom I respect and it is a busy place for those that are actually buying drinks. My drinks are always good and so there are no complaints.My only solution is placing all my orders via mobile.

Very busy location great, friendly and knowledgeable partners. Due to unsavory characters camping out in the restroom and over utilizing the power outlets this location has permanently closed the guest restroom and removed the power outlets that were for guests. This was done for the safety of customers and partners but is a HUGE inconvenience.

I was absolutely loving my salted caramel cream cold brew with 3/4 cream and extra foam one of my favorites you must try this if you love your coffee to not be so sweet and dont forget to lick the cream off of the bottom of the top simply loving this place the chairs could be a little cleaner but just an all around great place to sit and enjoy coffee

The staff is all great accept for one. I ordered my beverage and the entire time he was giving me dirty looks. Ive been coming here forever and am not one to spark conversation, neither did he. That was fine.But he gave me the nastiest looks. ON TOP of that, he told me there was only decaf coffee, and didnt tell me if the transaction went trough. Everyone know, you properly finish a transaction to avoid issues. Another barista had to tell me there WAS regular coffee. He worked today, Weds-Jan 19th-Opening shift, Caucasian and wore a baseball cap with a tattoo on his arm. Just awful! Everyone else has been great and I appreciate that. The manager Mike is fantastic, but not that barista. Vile. This is my first review btw.

Not sure how to rate this store. This was my usual place for coffee last year. It was always busy with good and questionable sorts. But when it became common to see the sedentary customers getting into fights, and the odd characters doing... odd things, I stopped going. Now, theyve cleaned it up. Its much nicer, but the energy is different. Hopefully, the decent people will return.

Theyve added more tables and chairs, lots of people watching. Homeless can be a slight bother but if you live in downtown youre used to it. Kind Baristas and the male older Latin manager is really good at his job. Very proactive. Its one of my favorite spots in downtown.

The baristas here were so friendly! I was in a rush because I decided to stop and get coffee before work and they were swift and friendly to take my mind off the fact I was almost late! Thankfully they were good at their jobs and made my latte in less that 5 minutes because I made it to work just in time. Great servers, great drinks and an over all good experience

If youre looking for a place to regroup in DTLA, this is your spot. Yes, its a Starbucks, but people who work at this location offer amazing customer service and are very friendly. The drinks are on point too. Ive been here a couple times and used the app once. The speed of this location is amazing. Lines move fast and you dont need to worry about waiting too long. Love stopping by whenever I can!

Tessino is an awesome conversational positive person who runs the front cashier at this Starbucks which is in a semi tough neighborhood shes personable shes accommodating and she is the best Starbucks has to offer in a very well-managed coffee shop I appreciate the different flavors she knows my drink and doesnt pour over without me having to ask the only thing they could add to it is if they have the coconut oil and grass-fed butter so I can make a proper Bulletproof shes not to be she does not need to be taught anything about front office or briefs to work go to Forte is people and accommodating to come here to this busy Starbucks because you will be treated quickly and faster than courtesy by Lady T as I call her and if she was closer to my age I would take her out for a salmon caviar dinner but I think shes scared of

I ordered a grande hot chocolate with whipped cream this morning at the Los Angeles/Spring St location in Moorpark. I got to my car and opened the lid and was shocked by the amount of liquid in the cup. It was less than half full. Unbelievable they charge over $3 for that. So disappointed. 🙁👎🏼

Ordered a herbal tea and I was as given a latte, when I explained to the girl that my order was messed up, she placed the blame on me. Latte doesnt come with tea bags and I had asked for two tea bags, she had even charged me extra from what I normally pay for a herbal tea. Great corner locations with attractive architectural design that blends in with the historical DTLA. Next to the bus stop stations. Plenty of turnovers, for locals and tourists. 2 STARS, A BIG turn off, .NO RESTROOM, (TO WASH YOUR HANDS) FYI! Its not SANITARY. Another FYI this place serve COLD AND HOT food.along with hot, cold beverages The health department had campaign for Hepatitis A and no outlets for any gadgets. They have plenty of NON WORKING charger AKA STATIONS. BUILT in on top the table. Im starting to get resentful for many of this POP out trendy Starbucks, that treat their PAYING customers, like homeless people. Thank GOD, that staff, that work on this particular Starbucks, know a good customer service. Thats my 2 stars. Im only been here twice. Hot coffee with vanilla sweet cream mixed in and Vanilla Sweet Cream Cold Foam on top. Yes, cold foam on hot coffee. The first few sips taste like a coffee malt. Yum! But most baristas cant fathom cold foam on hot coffee. They make faces, try to correct me, and even try to cheat me by not adding the cold foam.I havent had that problem here. Actually, Susan made my drink so perfect, I forgot to grab the rest of my order. Lol!Im a regular here.

Given the location, its a decent enough place--except for the fact that they no longer have a restroom: Customers are sent, with their receipt, to the lobby of the Hayward Hotel (boarding house) to use their facilities and, predictably, when I went there the toilet was a bit disgusting.Question to Starbucks management: Why not re-open your restroom to paying customers?

I maybe slightly bias in that I know the manager, well not on a personal level, perse, but she really is passionate about her job and to that end does a wonderful job. I happened to stop by this location last night, a rarity for me, and there she was, Liz, thick in the trenches of training a newbie. And doing a fine job. I saw this girl as a trainee and she has maintained the same courteous, friendly attitude she always had.Besides Liz, the refurb made this location much more open and accessible. Many Starbucks have removed the comfy sofas and chairs but this one has maintained a few and I love it. Im always miffed to go to a location where I anticipated comfy seating only to be met with hard benches that my boney bum cant withstand for too long.

They finally took care of homeless people hanging out there all day. Nicer atmosphere to seat and drink or eat now. BUT the fallout is no restrooms available thanks to the homeless and drug addicts who abused the privilege. No poweroutlets either. The price to allow regular customers a peaceful place to enjoy a cup of coffee. The Starbucks staff are awesome, very friendly and experienced, so your specialty drinks are perfectly crafted. BUT, the self serve bar does need more attention, usually need to ask for half half or observing a general mess at station. Overall great Starbucks in DTLA.

It is a decent place you get what you pay for dont expect much you get basic bed, tv. Shower and a pool. There are lots of food places in the area that are in walking distance and driving distance. Only thing to look out for are the semi trucks driving on the road which can be frustrating, but was a good experience for me nothing to complain about

90% of the batistas here are expert at delivering friendly and efficient customer service. The only drawback is the store can have less than desirable clientele and as a result the experience is less than perfect. They are why bathroom was shutdown. Starbucks has an agreement with a neighboring business where you bring your receipt and you can use their bathroom. A bit inconvenient, but this is downtown LA. One reviewer referred to black drug dealers and black gangs so we see what his true issue is. If the presence of people of color is an issue for you by all means stay away. If you want a cup of coffee or whatever else served by a friendly staff and youre not a perennial victim, feel free to come.

I had worst Cafe Mocha today at this Starbucks. I usually go with tall mocha with 2 pumps instead of the default 3 pumps of Mocha. 2 pumps mocha makes it less sweater and suits me. I ordered the same option at this Starbucks. Unfortunately the coffee was too sweat, so I told that guy please check if you have made the coffee according to what I have ordered? he told that he will make me another coffee. Fast Service Despite the Hectic Traffic. This is the Heart of Downtown LA. this is the area where the buzz is.
