The slowest service for mobile orders on a Saturday. Their crew is so slow and they need better management.I’ve been coming to this Starbucks for the past 3 weeks (near my job) and it’s been consistently slow with getting my mobile order in a timely manner. I would say they were short staff but the last few times they were not busy at all and still had to wait about 5 minutes. Today it was about a 12 minute wait after my designated pick up time. Being a former barista, they didn’t even bother to look at me to hand over my long awaited order.

Jandi doesn’t have any type of costumer service and does not know how to communicate with costumers. She was rude and just seems like a bitter person. To top it off, she rolled her eyes at me ): I give 1 star to service and food and atmosphere as well because I couldn’t even enjoy my food and drink after my encounter with her.

I’ve gone here a few times since I live close by and I’ve never had a good experience. The first time, they took 20 mins to make my mobile order drink. They’ve also messed up my drink order on a couple occasions. Most recently, my fiancé and my drinks were so bad that I had to return back and ask for a refund so that I could go to the other Starbucks half a mile away instead. The bathroom at this location is also really dirty- I’ll spare you the details. Management, please check this place out and adjust the quality of drinks/atmosphere.

This is one of the worst Starbucks in Or around Costa Mesa. It always takes twice as long here to get my mobile order than other stores many that are much busier. And they always mess up my order even after waiting forever. I would rather drive an extra 3 miles out of my way then go here.

On Wednesday nov 8 2023 around 7:30pm I ordered 1 pike grande 3 hot tall chocolate and 3 butter croissantFirst I can’t see the cashier name very disappointed I asked couple questions about the hot chocolate but when I asked her what types of milk they use she changes her attitude doing a kind of exclamation like getting mad because I ask and told me the types of milk she spoke very fast that I didn’t understand what she said so because seems like she wants to finish taking my order I reply “just regular milk “ she was hurrying me asking me anything else 4times I got my items take me couple minutes to get to my car I taste my drinks the croissants was good and warm but my 3 chocolates was hot but no flavor to chocolate just taste like hot milk and the coffee literally taste like was in the jar for hours and cold not even medium hot was cold I didn’t come back since my son was in the field in soccer practice I have to come back right away they didn’t drink and the coffee we throw away I never come back to this store I live in Santa Ana and I came to Costa Mesa for soccer practice but tonight is cold and windy so decided to get something hot to keep warm which this time Starbucks disappoint me

The coffee is good at about every Starbucks. The service here is not professional though. I had entered the store close to closing and the little woman in the green appron got super aggressive with me telling me I had to leave now. No reason or anything, just overly aggressive and unpleasant.

I am a frequent visitor to Starbucks across the world. They are great for doing work on the road. The fact that this one has no wall plugs means 2 stars. They could easily have them but they have chosen not to.

I ordered in advance for pick up. The drink was made wrong (cold instead of hot). I waited for them to make it again. I took longer than I expected. During the time, store was not busy. At some point, I thought my drink was made and left by the faucet behind the coffee machine. I had to ask more than once to hand my drink, left where I thought it was.

Overall great location. It can get busy but thats to be expected, we all need our pick me ups. Friendly employees and you can see they are trying their best to get the orders done. Ive always gotten my orders just as asked for and I love when they add a little smiley face or something to the cup. Parking can get a little iffy because of the narrow space so i do sometimes prefer to park close to wingstop even if i do walk a little, its easier to go in and out of the parking.

I stopped in to get a coffee with my husband. I was really impressed with the shift manager who greeted us, He was very friendly and seems to have a great attitude about his regulars and new customers. He went out of his way to treat us with kindness. It is not often that I see such upbeat personalities from people these days and I found our experience a joy. Thanks Starbucks.

Ive been going to this location regularly since February and every time I go it is great service and great baristas. Even when something was wrong with my order or they ran out of a item they were always very courteous and polite and either refunded or fixed the issue, the place is always clean even after a busy rush.

My review isn’t based off the service at this store but more of whoever decided to cover all the outlets so that nobody can use them. I am very disappointed and frustrated that Starbucks would cover the outlets like we are kids. This is the first location I have noticed this at but if this is how it is at every other location then I will no longer be a starbucks customer and will make sure to take as many people with me as I can while making this known to anybody I can reach. People used to go to Starbucks not only for the coffee but also the environment. It used to be a good place to escape to to work on things, meet people, read a book, lunch break, quick coffee break and charge phone or check emails. Now it’s a get your coffee and get out atmosphere. Other coffee places are taking over starbucks old vibes that people enjoyed so much. I will be reaching out to corporate because I find it hard to believe that starbucks would do this. Good luck to this store, what a horrible idea whoever made that decision

This morning I purchased a white mocha and it was disgusting . It was made with spoiled milk ! Went back they checked and yes the milk “expires” tomorrow . They made me a new one but I mean who else got spoiled milk and didn’t noticed ? Got another one made and a 4$ card . Someone can get food poisoning and that is no fun . Nice shaded seating area outside where we sat and relaxed. There was a long line when we walked in but it didnt take too long to get the drinks. My co-workers from Home Depot go almost every morning and they say it works better to order through the app and pick up rather than walk in to order in the morning.

Mobile orders take forever in the morning only. Today was my 3rd time having to wait about 15 min for my order even after it said my drinks would be ready. There is no sense of urgency AT ALL. They make one drink at a time and ignore the ppl waiting at the register. Today I watched my drinks sit for about 5 min behind the counter made and ready to just be walked to the mobile area...I actually had to ask for them. The girl walked them over and said... sorry, wish I had more hands. Starbucks is not the place to work at if you move that damn slow, I wanted to slap the sarcasm out of her.

This Starbucks location is great because it’s close to home but the cleanliness is not up to par which is probably due to the fact that there are always homeless people hanging out in front of store using up the chairs/shade. Sometimes there are homeless people sitting inside, not the ideal place to hang out for some coffee with friends.Starbucks employees are always very friendly and fast with drinks.

Nobody smiled the whole time I was here for about 10 minutes. Staff looked frantic making hot food and counter lady may be new was unhelpful and unfriendly to guest wanting to purchase a gift card. I hate to give a poor review. This one is slow. No one hustles and orders are always wrong. Consistantly over the past 3 years service has gone down hill. When I 1st started going to Starbucks in Chicago in 2003 in there could be 50 people in line and you would wait 5 minutes or less with same amount of employees. At this location the are slow and they dont care. Pretty much made me quit drinking coffee.

This Starbucks is a 5 minute walk from where I live, but I would rather drive to the Starbucks at VONS or Target than order from here. I have given this location the benefit of the doubt multiple times, but each time theyve been incredibly slow (and I mean chitchatting with each other while theres a line) or messed up my order. Ive stood in a line with 3 other people before, and after waiting ~5 minutes, I decided to leave because the line was not moving. I enjoy Starbucks as a company, but I do not go to this location anymore.

Im not a fan of Starbucks. I was there with a friend and with an order from my husband for a latte. Not surprisingly, it was hammered. They had so many orders and the baristas were backed up, so there was a bit of a wait. I gave it three stars because the people working there were pleasent and doing their best.

Was the entire staff lit or something? All 3 of them seemed to have zero urgency and blank looks on their faces, despite a long line of drinks and ovens beeping. It took foreeeeever to get our Americano and Iced Latte. Which would not be annoying if the staff looked at all like they were there to work instead of at home fixing themselves a leisurely snack. There is, like, nowhere to sit at this location! We had to ask people to take unused chairs from their table. I was there to have an important discussion, but couldnt because of the strange, 8-year old right next to me at the one low table we were all crammed at. No tables outside either. The table also had trash in it that didnt seem to belong to anyone currently sitting there. Just terrible. I wasted $5. Never ever going back to this one.

This Starbucks has a lot of homeless hanging around inside and in front. I left to talk on my cell phone and when I came back, someone had lifted my portfolio and my coffee sitting on the table... be warned, this Starbucks is open until 10:30 and I no longer go at night... it is not pretty!

In my opinion Starbucks has really good coffee and while I dont usually eat breakfast here I have tried their new Gluten-free bacon and egg breakfast sandwich and its pretty good.They have plenty of indoor seating at this location with a few outdoor tables as well. The prices at Starbucks are maybe a little higher then other coffee shops but your getting higher quality coffee. Oh and they have free wifi here also.

Granted, this is a busy location, right 45 heart of the Anaheim Civic Center. My suggestion would be to have more than one barrista fixing the coffee beverages.

Oh wow, man, I haven’t ever had coffee like this. You’ll never believe what happened! I had just started my cross-country move, and decided I needed a little pick-me-up at my friendly neighborhood Starbucks.Deavon (apologies if I misspelt the name) was working along with some other powerful baristas.They were slammed, dozens, no, hundreds of customers came in out of nowhere and ordered one million frappucinos! But I needed my coffee... so I bravely ordered anyways.During my brief wait for my americano, I heard screeching and hollering coming from the condiment bar.... M A R Y HAD ENTERED!!!Mary was 9 feet tall, winged, with talons the size of small sheep! She swooped and and started barking orders at the gallant baristas squawking something about a refund?Deavon, with their amazing tattoos glowing in the evening light, whisked over and intently listened to Mary’s dilemma. Deavon acknowledged the customer’s discomfort, then immediately took action! I watched in bewilderment while Deavon leapt and dashed around the bar, their hair flowing behind them in a neatly wrapped pony tail.Before Mary could get another squawk out, Deavon was already working on Mary’s drink.Mary continued to bark, “REFUND REFUND”Suddenly another barista appeared from the backroom, jumping into to calm the now screaming Mary.Both baristas were now using all of their magnificent Latte Love powers to calm this beast, but Mary had become incorrigible.Mary snatched a refund out of the baristas hands and fluttered off into the darkness.The rest of us watched this unfold with our jaws on the floor. There was silence in the Harbor and Wilson Starbucks for a mere second, then we erupted with joyous cheers and laughter! These baristas had saved the day again!Deavon handed me my americano, which they had somehow managed to make perfectly despite the chaos in their lobby, and gave me a wink. I thanked them, and with a sweet, calming voice, they replied “Thank YOU for your patience.”Make sure to tip your barista, you never know how many Mary’s they’ve dealt with that day. You never know how many small acts of kindness they perform day in and day out that no one will ever see.

I often frequent starbucks but I never buy right away. I always like to find a seat get cozy work or zone out on my phone until Im ready. Which I have never came across this issue before. Shes a blacked haired barista named Diane and from what I can tell on the reviews, shes quite infamous for being rude. Poor guy who sat next to me (Assuming a wanderer, homeless) was about to get kicked out with me because she saw me talk to him while kindly moving over so he can recharge his phone. I assume, she has something against the homeless. Anyways, I digress, I ended up not buying because Ive never had such a terrible experience with a barista than I did, here.

WellIt was chilly and started to sprinkle outside. So I thought Ill go have a nice hot chai and charge my phone.I was told the lobby was for guests only, While I was sitting down. Hmmm, why are there other people here without beverages or food but only I am being approached.I am dressed decently my hair is brushed AND there are several other tables and chairs available if someone needed a seat. It was not busy. There was no line. So why was it that I was singled out within only a few moments of sitting down? It took more than 10 minutes for any associates to clean and replace the t.p. Then they did not have red rooibos or the herbal cinnamon chai available.The 2 stars are for the cashier and the apple loaf cake.Next time I will go to Peetes or Kéan or Hidden House because even though they are a bit more expensive I wont have to be rushed or treated with any thing less than friendly service and a great selection.

They still close the bathrooms early. Observed staff banging on bathroom doors assuming that customers have been using it too long. One of those customers was a mother with a small child and they were only in the rest room for approximately 5 minutes and it went crowded.
