So, this is probably the worst experience Ive had at a Starbucks to date.The bathrooms are locked, first off... Its not that different for anywhere in Escondido, but its really unfortunate for customers just trying to have a good time.Ordered the Americano as I usually do, with cream on the side. Was charged $0.70 cents just for the cream. I wasnt supposed to be charged for that. Cream used to be free by the counter.On top of this, the coffee was watery, and when I asked about that, if they could make it stronger, they just passed it back to me the same way.If you want to spend time on your laptop, they do good to discourage that— all outlets are covered.Really, dont spend your money here, or even bother. Please let this be a warning.

I went in two days ago had horrible service. Was ignored by staff especially cashier. When I finally ordered and waiting over 10 minutes. I noticed people who came in after me getting served and leaving before me. I kept being ignored and when my order finally came. I asked the gentleman behind the counter a question. He rolled his eyes at me in disgust. I asked for the manager and when she comes over says. WHATS UP??? I thought hi sir or something would be better. Horrible service all around

Stopped here a year prior while in San Diego for a wedding. Gave them 1 star then for their terrible service. Stopped in again while in town visiting family hoping my last visit was a one-off. Well they lived up to my previous visit and all the 1star reviews. Who ever the regional or store manager is, they all need to be fired. Bunch of miserable people with bad attitudes working there. Like my previous visit, since it took 20 minutes to get a straight cup of coffee, I just observed the miserable staff members in action. They didnt acknowledge a single person that came through the doors. They talked to the customers like they were POS. They had six oxygen thiefs working and a seventh one running trash and the service still sucked. Easily the worst starbucks I have visited in the country including Canada. I dont know why they all just dont quit if they hate their miserable useless lifes.

Last Sunday my daughter had an all day competition for dance. We hadnt eaten or had anything to drink. So I walked over from the arts center to get her something from Starbucks to make her happy and give her some kind of nourishment. Unfortunately, the shop was closed do to not enough staff. But the drive thru was open. So I did what a desparate parent would do..I asked the cars that were in line of they minded I walked in line to get my daughter something to drink and eat. They were more than happy to help. I patiently waited for 20 minutes in the hot sun for my turn. Then as soon as I walked up to the speaker to order, the two staff members told me they are refusing me service and to get out of the line. I explained my situation and all they did was tell me it was crazy and a liability and refused me service. To please leave. I was appalled!! Even the cars in line were upset for me and offered to buy my order. I would never give my business to them. I know we will be at the art center many more times, but I will never go nor recommend any business to this location. There was no reason for them to treat me like I was a freak for making do with the situation since they werent capable for being open. What a shame

Worst Starbucks in Escondido. Not all the workers are bad but there are a few that have bad attitudes which is funny considering they want tips. I tried to go back but they consistently make the drinks watered down and bitter and if you ask them to remake it you’ll get attitude and a drink that’s even worse than the 1st one. Good luck.

Horrible service! We literally stood at the order station for 6 minutes, no one of their 8 employees acknowledged us. Our order was taken my husband did get his Grande Pike immediately, then we waited 11 minutes for my Grande Dirty Soy Chai Tea Latte. One person asked me do you have a mobile order? I said no, then started to say I have an in-store order, he said I didn’t ask you that. They were standing around taking and laugh, it was so rude.They (8 employees) were only focused mobile orders and the drive thru, they could care less about the patrons in the store. They definitely had enough staff to divide and conquer.

I have two little girls who and until today, when I have gone to Starbucks, they’d split their drinks between two cups. This one refuses to do that as of today and is closed randomly during the day and gets our orders wrong. I had continued to go because of the split drinks, but now I’ll start going to one of the coffee places on Grand. It’s unfortunate because its a convenient drive thru for me.

Ordered a Carmel ribbon crunch. I was told there was no regular Carmel, but they had dark Carmel which I stated was okay. I asked for extra Carmel drizzle and Carmel in the cup with extra Carmel crunch. When “Ashley” handed me my drink there was no extra Carmel or Carmel crunch. I stood at the drive-thru for a few minutes while Ashley who was at the window was just off talking and wouldn’t even turn to the window when she clearly had seen me. I then had to yell excuse me so she’d turn to the window. She came to the window and I tried explaining what I asked for in my drink and she stated “yea well we don’t have of that in this store” which was the Carmel and Carmel crunch. I tried explaining I understood there was no regular Carmel but I was okay with the dark Carmel when she cut me off and stated “well we don’t have any of that” and I showed her my cup where it clearly stated what I asked for in my drink which I then asked why it was Added to my order if “they didn’t have any of that in that store” and Ashley then stated “okay, well we don’t have it I don’t know!” And walked away. Another girl came to talk to me and I explained to her that hat was going on and she fixed my drink. I wish I would’ve gotten her name she was very nice. I just wanted what I paid for that was all and if it wasn’t available that was okay, but clearly they did have all that in the store, Ashley just didn’t want to deal with it. I come here almost everyday and she’s the most rude person I’ve dealt with, but thanks to the other girl who took the time to listen to me and fix my drink.

Drive thru cashier was friendly at first, until they saw me tap the 0% tip option. They seemed pretty annoyed after that.Im not tipping on drive thru orders, especially the suggested tipping thats on those machines.Isnt it your job to make coffee already? If not what are you even getting payed for?Left a sour taste in my mouth.Tipping is getting out of hand. Especially with companies and servers pushing for 25 - 30% tipping norms on entry level jobs.

They do tend to get busy on the weekends, but this is due to its location being on a main street and near the movie theatres. They have inside and outside seats, with a great view of the city. The employees are extremely friendly and keep a great paste on completing orders. Who cares if they get a little mad, like non of us ever get a little frustrated at work. Great Starbucks overall. They clean all the time, but since it is busy most people dont see that.

I was extremely appalled at the low level of customer service that I was offered at this location. It is a state law that if a gift card has $10 or less on the card that a vendor should refund the remaining value on the card. I had an employee told me that they only did one card per day, as in the store only refunded one card to only one individual on any given day. I couldnt believe this. Furthermore I ordered a beverage at the location and was denied access to the restroom when then a lady after me asked you to restroom and was granted access. I am homeless and feel horribly discriminated against at this location.

I had a very pleasant experience at this Starbucks. The barista (both of them) were really really nice. They smiled a lot and were very friendly. My drink was made perfectly and the cake pops were very delicious. The inside and outside was nice and clean and they have plenty of seating both inside and outside.

Its a nice clean Starbucks with a good atmosphere. All Starbucks have expensive drinks and this one is no different, but the only drawback is that I dont have a drive-thru. They make up for that a little bit by having a convenient parking lot and having very late hours of operation.

Sad to say whoever was cashier there on Wed March 10th, at about 2:15 was extremely rude.Another customer held the door open for us, which was nice. But we missed the sign that said they were cash only. So the cashier very blatantly showed her annoyance with us for having wasted her time. Cant say Id ever want to go back.

Ive been here twice, I thougt the first time was just a random bad experience, I was wrong. Most dysfunctional Starbucks Ive ever been in. There is NEVER a reason anyone should have to wait 30 min. for coffee, even if its busy. Apparently more staff is needed desperately. This has become my favorite location because the customer service is outstanding no matter the time of day! I tried the purchase and pick up option that is offered on the application, came across a minor problem and they kindly completed my order regardless of my mistake. The baristas are friendly, diligent, and offer the best customer service there is to experience at a Starbucks. Ive been to many locations and this one takes the trophy! :D

Went through drive-through. Screen didnt work. Overcharged me For items I didnt want. No decaf coffee ready. Had to wait 5 min for pour overHad to go inside to get it and got yelled at because I didnt have shoes on. On 12/19/2017 around 1:00 to 1:15 PM, I went in there to buy a cup of coffee. The girl at the counter did not say hello and anything to me and when I got there and ready to order, she told me the old lady behind me came first. So I gestured that old lady to go first but the lady said she did not come here first, but me. From that forward, the cashier girl showed me all the attitudes possible. Not sure what her problem is. Hopefully she is not a feminist and hates every single macho man. She should be written up for showing attitude to a regular customer.

Its whatever, but disappointing the workers TOLERATE the customer-to-customer conflict (discrimination in this case). I guess I get it; I wouldnt want to get involved in conflict either. Just make sure the Starbucks employees throw out the trouble makers. LGBTQ for life, Ill never stop being myself! Not even for the homophobic customer that thinks its okay to talk anyway he wants to anyone. Funny how individuals increasingly, underestimate the community.

Public bathrooms are crucial in general, and especially needed at Starbucks locations because they open hours before anywhere else; it may be the only place for miles that southern California houseless folks can use the toilet/wash up.

I came in and waited patiently. The host asked me to wait a moment. I sat down closest to the counter. Two more customers come in and waited near register. Host takes their order starts to prep their order. Eventually the more experienced host noticed his mistake and took my order, but I could tell she had to stop preparing drinks to correct his error. Lucas failed to provide excellent customer service and for that reason should be disciplined or removed from his post.

Today I visited the very busy Starbucks. I waited in the line for quite a long time due to it being a Friday in half term, busy! There also seemed to be a lack of staff. I was served by a very bubbly and cheerful girl (I think her name was Megan). I was unsure what drink to order, she didn’t rush my order and adviced me on what to order. She was highly knowledgable on the drinks and what goes well together! She was then joined by anouther young lad on the till to give her a hand (think his name was Craig) who was cheerful and knew what he was doing. They both had such great knowledge surrounding coffee and what to order. I settled to order a latte. My drink was made by anouther young lad who made it quickly and accurately. The team vibe behind the counter was amazing, I could see how hard they were working such short staffed. Keep the work up!

I came in today at 7:23 AM to order a Venti Iced Coffee. I specifically asked for lite ice. The lady making the drink was very rude and short replying “this is lite ice”. Then, I asked for a refill without ice. Again, the lady was rude and said that if I requested it without ice she would only fill it 3/4 of the way. She completely ignored what I had asked for. Mind you, I visit Starbucks around five times a week and I’ve never encountered such bad customer service. Also, I’ve never heard of a single barista saying that they would only fill the cup 3/4 of the way if the beverage was ordered without ice. I appreciate the professional and friendly communication I got from the Barista Gina today! She explained the new drink alternative lables. Make sure to talor your drink order at the register as their new system is a printed lable rather than hand written on the cup.The wait was reasonable. The service was straight forward and honestly friendly.My medium hot chocolate with Heavy Cream and extra chocolate, by the way, is Yumazing!!Thank you!

Conveniently located on W Valley Parkway and N Escondido this Starbucks gets busy in the mornings! Make sure tp park in the parking lot behind the store in the strip mall. Theres a Movie Theatre next door which is also not bad!During my visit, service was prompt and drinks came fast. Good Starbucks location!

Great service, easy to find, and plenty of parking. However, its quite chilly inside, so bring a coat, and there is only one table (on the inside) large enough to use a computer with an external mouse. Plenty of nice cement tables outside.

Staff was friendly, but our orders were terrible last night.Barrister was fast, but he poured Talls into Grandes, short changing 2 of the people in our party with it.My drink was well made, but I dont remember there being any caramel advertised in it. It was a nice drink until getting to only the coffee, which was burnt.The Wi Fi was really good and the air conditioning was sublime on a hot summer evening.

No outlets. I keep trying to study at a café and its a big waste of time to show up to a sit down café that advertises wifi but has no power. I honestly dont even come here for the coffee. If the said they had none without me having to find out by going in, Id give them 4 stars. (Even though you can legitimately get better actual coffee at a 711.) If you dont like drinking sugar and are not middle to upper class American dream 9 to 5er, i suggest you look for a local one-off coffee shop. +5 hipster hp if you find one that has a record collection.

Probably the slowest Starbucks in the entire North County! Always takes forever to get your coffee! You come in with three people in front of you and then you wait for 30 minutes to get your coffee because they process everybodys online orders before they even start working on your coffee.
