My visit to the Starbucks in Culver City, LA was satisfactory, earning it a rating of three stars. The coffee itself was up to the usual Starbucks standard, delivering the familiar taste and quality Ive come to expect. However, the service was a bit slow and disorganized, resulting in longer wait times than I would have liked. Despite the crowded atmosphere, the ambiance was pleasant enough for a quick coffee break. A/C is on full at 8:45a on Sunday when its 58deg outside in Feb. 🥶 Not a nice vibe, and doesnt attract customers, as you can see in photos. Thankfully cold enough outside that I had a jacket on, but Im left to contemplate the needless waste of energy and its contribution to global warming 🫠

Been to this location many times, love the atmosphere here. Always friendly service, lots of parking outside which is rare in such a busy area, so much to walk to that’s near by as well, shopping and food. Will definitely return, and highly recommend, very clean, indoor and outdoor seating. Absolutely love the staff at this location, and also if you’re ever looking for rare cups, I can almost always find them here. I’ve also st inside and outside before

I never leave 1 star reviews but after visiting this location a few separate times over the past few months I have to say something. This is by far the slowest Starbucks I have ever been to. It is in a convenient location, which is why I have given it a try a few times, but a black coffee and a green iced tea regularly take 20+ minutes when you order ahead on the app. There’s rarely enough people inside or mobile orders sitting on the counter to justify this kind of wait, in fact the only other people I usually see inside are also waiting for their orders. Much slower than locations in downtown LA, which I know see a lot more foot traffic. No idea what the deal is, but if you are in any sort of rush to get to work don’t order from this location.

Update: do not get a hot coffee here. The cup immediately disintegrates and leaks out of your cup. We went back for a new one and it immediately leaked again.As others have mentioned, this is one of the slowest Starbucks in the area and in general. The app estimate isn’t accurate and you will be waiting for your drinks for a long time, even for simple drinks like cold brew, black coffee, and iced tea. Quality is fine and on par with other Starbucks but definitely do not recommend if you’re in a rush.

I placed a Starbucks mobile order for 2 drinks around 3:15 PM. The app promised a 5-minute wait. Upon arrival at 3:30 PM, I found two baristas behind the counter with no line. Despite a sign prompting mobile order customers to notify a barista, both seemed uninterested and ignored me. One barista even walked away after preparing a drink for herself without acknowledging my presence. The other eventually made my order but seemed surprised when I asked for two straws for two drinks.Overall, it was a disappointing experience with both baristas displaying a lack of attentiveness and poor attitudes. While Im hesitant to leave negative feedback, I feel compelled to share my encounter to warn others.

If youre hungover dont get your coffee here, go somewhere else. The music blares, and I get it, to annoy some of the homeless people who hoard the outlets to charge their devices. However, in addition to this, the staff has to literally yell over the audio to notify their customers about their beverage. Its absolutely miserable. I guess Starbucks is losing its branding as a cafe shop where one goes to hang out with others to enjoy a cup of Joe or work to a more fast food joint, AND THIS PLACE EXEMPLIFIES IT PRECISELY.

One star for the staff that are slammed. Zero stars for the phone orders that are ruining this location. The last 5 times I’ve been here, phone orders take priority and the other customers are left waiting forever and half the time the orders are wrong. I don’t know if this place has a new manager because it wasn’t like this before. They need to fix this because I’m fed up with it. I went in today and there were 15 phone orders not picked up and they were still making more over the walk in customers. This place has gone down hill. They screwed up my order again. Ice coffee with some whole milk and they gave 75% milk.

Usually is fine although occasionally issues with seating and the music is blaring and cannot have phone conversation. Whats with Starbucks strategy to keep me from staying? They make it cold, loud, uncomfortable so Ill not sit too long using Wi-Fi. They need to think this over. Look at how theyve removed seating in photo just posted. This is typical of many large Starbucks.Update 6-18. Too cold. Its 80 outside yet 60 Im here. Thats too discourage you to stay long time on your laptop. Sorry but no.

Amazing Starbucks in Culver City that is in the Washington building. They serve everyone with decency and respect, including homeless or travelers, and they even have a basket of food and reading material that is free to the public that need it. All they ask is that if you take, you give somewhere again down the road. Give a little take a little or just give. Plus they have plug in spots and bars to connect to for everyone and outdoor seating as well.

Its freezing cold out and your doors are closed already at 6 pm when online says you stay open until 8 pm. No sign on the door with an explanation stating why your business closed early as 2 employees could be seen through the window. Could not even order something hot to keep warm had to ask a friend to bring me something from another location. Will definitely not be returning .

This Starbucks is pretty great. A decent amount of indoor seating, but even more outdoor seating. This location can get pretty busy, so be patient. I was there around 11 am and there was a line and the baristas were pretty busy trying to keep up with the orders.There are parking lots nearby that give you 2 hours for free, so take advantage.

Stopped in with our little Havanese puppy. Just ordered a shaken iced beverage, which was great -- but the barista was super welcoming to our puppy! Offered a small pup cup, greeted our little guy, and helped him feel immediately welcome. Its always a great experience when places are overly kind to your dog. I wish I caught the baristas name to give him props here but, alas, all I have to say is that he was a tall and thin guy wearing a knitted hat. Thanks for the first time experience at this location!

We stopped in here after dinner at Tender Greens. We were too stuffed to order any desserts, but the sweet tooth was still kicking in and it needed to be satisfied. The warm mocha latte hit the spot. The cashier spelled my name correctly. Big plus!!! I cant tell you how aggravating that is when they dont ask how to spell your name and completely resort to haphazard spelling that is embarrassing to hear and read every time you take a sip. He was even nice enough to take a group photo for us. Six photos to be exact. He was delighted to keep taking photos for us until we agreed that he took a satisfactory one. Great customer service for something he wasnt required to do. I remember things like that and love to frequent spots that employ genuinely friendly people with an enthusiasm for their job and the willingness to go above and beyond at times!

This location is pretty clean and not overly crowded on a Sunday afternoon. My almond milk hot chocolate was terrible, they dont take into consideration that almond milk has 1/4 the amount of sugar as cows milk and is much thinner so my hot chocolate was bitter and watered down. Disgusting. There was also a vulgar homeless woman outside screaming obscenities at customers who were seated at the outside tables. Nit an enjoyable overall experience. I hope not to return.

Always busy it seems! Parking here is not very easy. No parking lot. Limited seating unless youre willing to sit outside there is more. The location on a wedge between Culver & Washington is cool & its near Sony. Its not an easy run in quickly & grab a coffee joint.

Not especially nice or courteous staff, they come off like they dont care and are more concerned with their own side conversations. Their staging bar can get a little cramped if youre waiting for a drink next to patrons at the bar and the line, the long island of seating is narrow, so much so that you cant sit across from anyone if you have more than a drink and napkin on the surface. The outside patio is nice, since it meets at the end of the an intersection and provides its own island terrace, but getting to the actual location can be tricky because the crosswalks are set up to feed directly parallel with the street as opposed to across.

The lines are always long they dont know how to manage their bar and they dont know how to use the clover machine properly. Waited for 15 to 20 minutes for them torealize they had ignored the drink at the clover machine after paying $5 for a cup of coffee id expect it to be done in less than 30 minutes. It wasnt really the time that bothered me at the end it was the attitude that was received when I asked for my drink. Id expect more from people of their age

Generally I dont mind Starbucks. I take advantage of the rewards program, and I know that when I order something its going to taste pretty much the same, so its a safe bet. This particular Starbucks, however, is barely average. It is always dirty, has an old, funky smell to it and the service is meh. Its too bad, because the location is great. And maybe thats why they dont care. Theyre always going to be busy, so why make the effort?

This @Starbucks full of men wearing comfortable shoes with few purchases before them is a place you should avoid if you are a woman in wet high heels that needs to sit down. Half the seats are empty with only coats and backpacks but nobody will move their backpack for me to sit next to or across from my daughter. They all say yes, when I ask if the seat is taken, but in the 20 minutes I stood in wet shoes waiting for my daughter to finish, no human beings joined any of them at the tables. Every time I come here I am just stunned by how inconsiderate the patrons seem to be.

Downtown Starbucks in a very attractive building(on historic register)across from City Hall and a short walk west on wash is the Kirk Douglas Theatre.The decor is nice but there is limited indoor seating. There are more nice outside seats.Hours are longer closing at 10pm.Above average bucks in one of the best locations/settings in LA County.

Is bucks was one of my favorite Starbucks to hang out in, beautiful atmosphere, great area and location, perfect for a small meet up. but never a good experience with the barista, they always seem to be pompous arrogant and always busy with each other, orders placed here are often very slow which cost us a lot of time and delays. but most of the time the drinks are exceptionally well crafted, the restroom here needs a lot of attention throughout the day which the staff neglects on a daily basis.

Pretty standard Starbucks.The location is a bit tricky for parking. You can find some street parking but its better to park in one of the lots and walk over. Careful where you park, this location is next to the PD and they have very proactive parking enforcement.Beverages and food items are very consistent.I really like the Lemon Loaf with my coffee. I know it probably has a tooooooon of calories but its good, sweet, moist and the right amount of lemon. It comes to the store individually wrapped. Kinda buggs me when they take it out of the plastic wrap, discard it and then put it in another bag.Love that they carry soy milk for lattes too.

I went to Starbucks on a weekday to work with a group it was around 6 p.m. during the rush hour. The issue with the area and location is that parking is very scarce and it is Street meter you have to bark a bit further in a structure otherwise its not available luckily I manage to find one after 40 minutes. we sat outside the ambience was great its a very quiet nice area and pleasant atmosphere the drinks the service everything was great but when the evening got really cold we went inside it was freezing that all of us including the guys could not sit there we had to go somewhere else I wish they could keep the temperature a bit lower its not summer time and even if it was its extremely cold for an average person to handle I was freezing and everybody else is well. They wanted to stay outside after 8 but they wrap up all the seats and tables around that time from Outdoors.

I am so annoyed!! The guy behind the counter is working really hard, but I ordered an iced coffee for me and a frappuccino for my daughter so we could sit outside and enjoy the Sunday morning. I got my iced coffee quickly and I stood there waiting for my daughters frappuccino. It took almost 17 minutes for me to get it. By then I had finished my iced coffee. They need more help behind the counter.

There isnt any parking for this starbucks other than the metered street parking on either side of the location. However, most of those spots are almost always taken because there are literarily 20 other restaurants within a 2 block radius of Starbucks. There are plenty of seats outside and inside. The ambience is amazing outside because its downtown Culver City. You get to see everyone bustling around and you can always count a cute dog to walk by with their owner every few minutes. Staff is very friendly too. Good location to study. Overall great location, if you can find parking.

It has a normal Starbucks fare but it has an overperforming air conditioner the baristas say they cannot control.I went in on a recent chilly and rainy night.Seated patrons were all sheltering themselves from the Arctic blast coming out of the AC outlets. I do not enjoy my own shivering, so I chose to patronize a nearby restaurant, which had both enjoyable coffee and atmosphere.

Barista made a horrible drink for me, and upon handing it to me, he decided to bully me in my choice of order. Im already grumpy pre-caffeine-- did not need an actual reason to get even more grumpy.
