Good spot for all those loving Starbucks. The location is very good. Friendly neighborhood, busy spot, Starbucks consistent service and quality. Very busy when I was there (this busy is every though there is a lot of competition all around on Second St... A lot!).Three short blocks from the beach... Loads of shopping all around. Just came back from there. I understand is Sunday morning and people are out for coffee, but I feel like those who came after me, and got the online order on the spot took their drinks before me. So I had to sit and watch how the other people took their orders while had to wait for long.

Terrible as I been going 5-6 days a week and I order same drink and ask for all milk no water. Today they hand me a reg instead of vinta and then after remaking my drink put water in it. The place was packed and the young folks working there often seam occupied. I stopped going there last year because of this and drove an extra few blocks to the next closest and solved my own problem. Just speaking my personal truth

I love this Starbucks as it’s right next to my job so I frequent them often. Everyone is so friendly and kind accept for one person. Every time myself and or my colleagues are “helped” by her, we never want to come back. She is an older woman I believe her name is Darleen. Every time I encounter her she has a bad attitude and is rude. She seems as though she doesn’t like working there. It’s so disappointing because the rest of the team is so amazing. She constantly says that she “can’t do” normal requests that every other barista has helped us with, and when asked to clarify she is short and dismissive. She prioritizes counting her tips over helping guests with no communication like” I’ll be with you in one minute”. She acts annoyed whenever we try and ask her a questions, or make a requests, and I don’t understand how she continues to act this way. If I walk in and see her at the counter, I will leave and get my coffee somewhere else. Management should definitely speak to her about her customer service skills.

This location gets really busy really quickly due to its location. Metered parking is usually easy enough to find all around. Hit the green button for your free 15 minutes while you swing in and grab your fix. Pro tip: Mobile order about ten or fifteen minutes before youll get there!

Not a fan of this one. I paid for extra drizzle and didn’t get it which was no big deal, but took forever for my order to be fixed and while I was waiting another customer came up to complain about an order being made wrong too. Also they told me there was not enough almond milk to make two drinks so I didn’t get to order one, and I saw them pour out the almond milk into my kids drink and it seemed full. The girls seem sweet but they did get an annoyed attitude towards the other customer which was off putting. I’ll get my Starbucks elsewhere before coming to Belmont shores.

Historically Ive had nothing but wonderful experiences here, so Ill get that out of the way. They get busy very often because of where theyre located, so its understandable that things happen.I was there a couple days ago. Bought a coffee drink and a croissant. Walked around a couple hours and came back with a friend who bought himself something then. We sat out front for almost an hour as he drank his beverage. As we were leaving I went back inside the store to use the restroom real quick. One of the employees greeted me, I said hi back, and went to the restroom. As I rounded the corner I very clearly heard one of the employees say Somehow, I knew she was going back there. It wasnt meant kindly.I get it. Ive been in food service before and there are days you want to rant about customers to blow off steam. But I was a paying customer, I wasnt there just to steal your restroom for 2 minutes. Naturally I dont expect them to remember what I looked like before, but I was with another paying customer at the time of me using the bathroom. I was embarrassed after hearing them say that. I felt bad, I felt awkward, and I felt made fun of over something silly when I did nothing wrong.Maybe wait until a customer is out of earshot before making a snarky comment next time. And if it was on purpose... I guess congrats? You made another human being feel embarrassed for several minutes for no good reason?

A perfect caramel Marchiado, clean bathroom. The only flaw to this place was the freakin lock to the bathroom door. It locks but appears unlocked, so as I peed, I feared showing my junk to an unsuspecting guest.

I must say this location has to be one of the best. There is always seating least to say and even better the customer service is above and beyond. The employees make sure that customers have a clean and friendly environment. I come here often to study and never have I felt the atmosphere shift. Its always a pleasant experience. The employee Phoenix is a outstanding peoples person and makes it his duty to interact with guest while managing to stay on task. He is Great multi tasking. Id recommend this location to any Starbucks patron.

Went on my normal walk this morning and ordered a coffee midway as I always do...but apparently I ordered to a Starbucks Ive never been to. When I stopped at my neighborhood Starbucks I waited and waited...when I discovered what I had done they made me a coffee and gave it to me! So nice, such great customer service. I am grateful.

This is a busy Starbucks! Even so, the line seems to move quickly because the employees are efficient yet friendly (at least the ones here on Saturday, July 20th). Kudos to the staff for working quickly and remaining calm even though the customers never stopped coming. This is a great location and it’s an example of how Starbucks should be run.

Awesome Place!! Awesome Workers Fast Pace and Polite!! Got to see the 2nd Street Starbucks team in action. I was ordering a Venti Dark Roast with White Hot chocolate mixed at 180 degrees at 8:59 they did a great job it came to me fast but the next minute customers flooded in to order drinks and breakfasts and man can I tell you ppl flocked in like it was a herd lions but over all I love how the Team stayed Strong didnt panic, communicated and was working at a fast pace cordially in a fast polite pace mannerism. I give this place a. 5 out of 5 You guys are awesome. Btw I know someone who is up there in the Starbucks Chain. I will be letting Him know you guys are doing an awesome and Great Job!!

These Starbucks workers are racist. They didn’t even give me my order right. I asked for something and they didn’t even response. The manager needs to hHire people with good happy customer service. Seems like these people at the Starbucks on second St. in Long Beach didn’t want to be there are they were too tired to be there. Go somewhere else for the treat you nice and not racist.

The two people working there were awful, not a smile or friendly face, not a good morning of even a hello. Very sad because most coffee places in my neighborhood are super friendly. They both acted as if I was bothering them. Not a pleasant experience for a 5:00 am gal. I found out my neighbor who I walk with every morning felt the same. We usually go to ___________, but had a shorter walk this morning. A smile and a goodmorning is worth the extra blocks. Again very SAD 😥 for them. This location has really great employees who are on top of everything... Ive had my drink ready to go before my debit card transaction completed and have effortlessly swapped out a drink once because I ended up not liking it very much and was one of those holiday promotion ones and I felt was missing just one ingredient to make it a hit.

Well this place definitely can use new employees the lady jay is as rude as they get and acts as if aShe owns the franchise. Then her Coworkers are slower than turtles. Horrible experience twice now and reccommend driving to the nearest starbucks rather than have that kind of service.

My wife and I love this Starbucks! It is our coffee shop. While we live down the street, and there are several coffee shops on 2nd Street, we go to this one because of the care that the staff provides. I specifically have to commend Delton on his customer care. He remembers that I always ask for Puppacinos, and makes them for me wirhout the newd to ask. It is his attention to detail that continues to keep us coming back. Many, many kudos to Delton. Thank you so very much for all of your care. It is appreciated immensely! When I was walking out of this store, bunch of customers including me said the same thing I will NEVER come back to this store again!! It SUCKS!!. This store just re-open days ago after the renovation&remodeling. Lots Lots Lots of people there since they recently closed down the other Starbucks at Roycroft Ave.& 2nd St. They only have 3-4 people working behind the counter, they work as cashiers and baristas at the same time. So if you wait 5 min to pay for your coffee and wait another 5 min to get your coffee, Dont be Surprised! And youd better prepare that the coffee you pay for may not be the one you ordered before you walk into this store! I ordered one ice coffee with whole milk and without ice, another Tazo lemonade tea without ice, guess what I got, ice coffee without milk at all and almost half ice in it; and the Tea was not lemonade tea at all, instead, plain black tea with half cup of ice. Really Sucks! Hire more ppl there, or just re open the store that closed down. There are So Many starbucks lovers around 2nd street, Please!!!!!!!!
