This place can get busy but the staff is always composed and professional.The employees make an effort to engage with their customers, either new or regular, and the drinks are well made.The seating layout allows for a constant flow of orders with plenty of seating for patrons inside and out.I have seen some customers upset that there are not outlets available for public use, but that is not the fault of the staff. Just something to know and plan for ahead of time.

I went in with a couple of friends to buy some drinks, I had cash which I was going to pay with it, the cashier told us that the bills were fake without checking them, they feel fake we cant serve you guys here manager came out and told us the same thing, never did they check with a pen or light. We went to another business next door told them what happened and to please check the bills, the BILLS WERE %100 REAL they checked it properly with a pen not just by how it feels. We felt discriminated since we were Hispanics.

Dumbest Starbucks I’ve ever seen. I ordered for pick up not knowing the location & they only have 2 spots to park in & they are located in the corner of a gas station. You have to wait for someone to pull out of the spot & then awkwardly walk up their ramp. Poorly designed. Not easy in & out.

I adopted the Starbucks at the Hazard Center in San Diego, as my home away from home during a three day visit there. This Starbucks was close to my hotel and I went there four times in three days.There is something to be said about any restaurant chain or retail chain that consistently maintains high standards across cities and states across the country.Starbucks freestanding stores always meets my expectations for a good cup of coffee and a snack or bite to eat, no matter what time of day or wherever I am. I don’t include airport or grocery store locations, though they’ve improved markedly.The Hazard Center Starbucks is no different. The employees were friendly, warm, quick and well trained. They had a queue that reached the door at one point, and they never lost their cool. The power went out on Saturday and they continued to serve irritated customers with a smile and employees started scrubbing sweeping and cleaning. No one was idle for a minute.I will make every effort to patronize the Hazard Center Starbucks location whenever I’m in San Diego, and you should too! Tell ‘em Roy sent you!

Starbucks tells customers to order Mango Dragonfruit Refresher (versus Mango Dragonfruit Lemonade Refresher) in order to signal to the barista that you are not interested in it being made with lemonade.......so, I do that here and STILL had to correct the person making my drink that I never said I wanted lemonade. It is a whole pain feeling as though we have to hover to ensure our order is correct. Can someone please ask corporate to put out some clarification for both customers AND employees on orders like this?? Frustrating.

Unfortunately, as of today, 11/4/2021, there is NO LONGER POWER OUTLETS AVAILABLE!!They clearly just want us to get in and get out. As the saying goes, one bad apple spoils a bunch. I know homeless like to hangout to charge up their things, but business and meetings happen here, too. And now it is limited to your battery life span.Great coffee and teas, though.Just disappointed in this change for the worse.

Sometimes the line is long, but the employees are really friendly all the time and always willing to change up the drinks I order. Some of my favorites have fallen off the regular drink menu but that is never a problem.

When I got there to pick up a mobile order, there was no barista making drinks. I can understand that they might only have two folks and they need to take breaks, but it was pretty busy (it was lunchtime). We all just stood there...waiting. The person working the register just kept taking orders, so the customers waiting for drinks continued to pile up (and there isnt a lot of room to stand and wait, the seats were full). Seems like he could have made a few drinks, then gone back to taking orders. I didnt wait much longer than the max time the app estimated, but it was unusual (for most Starbucks locations) and I did need to get back to work. The bathrooms could use a remodel, or at least a deep cleaning. The latte was good. *I went again recently and had the opposite experience from above (mobile order was ready before I even arrived and the barista acknowledged me and was helpful and friendly) so I changed my rating from 3 to 4 stars.

This Starbucks has an interesting group of people who visit. From the homeless who just need some water and a little charge on their phone, to the college students and the workers in the surrounding buildings. I think they have new staff now, and for that Im grateful. Before the pandemic, the people who worked at this Starbucks were the most fake, rude people Ive met in my travels. Just because people dont look the same on the outside, doesnt mean they dont have feelings on the inside. Think about that before you reject someone just because your dont like the shirt they are wearing...

Understaffed, esp for a Sunday at 10am there was only 2 ppl working and 10+ customers waiting in line. The food came out fast but was cold by the time I got my drink, which shouldnt have even been called pumpkin cold foam cold brew. It was tasteless and way too thin to be considered cold foam. I work at a coffee shop so maybe Im biased but I would not be proud of a product or workplace like that. I feel bad for the employees as Im certain it is not their fault.

This place is awful!! I used to enjoy coming since I work next to this location, but the service sucks! I waited 15 mins in line while 4 employees stood around stocking pastries and talking abd the line was out the door. One girl on the register and one making drinks! As I Said i come here very often, and they never charged me before to add a pump of caramel or Pumpkin spice yet today my two dollar coffee turned into seven dollars?!?! Since when do you charge for every pump in a coffee!?! I will not being going back!!

Out of all the Starbucks that Ive been to, this is by far my favourite. Ive never had bad service and all the baristas whove helped me have been very friendly and helpful. Theres also lots of seating, the parking is easy, and its next to the trolley station so its easy to reach and visit.

Quick food and coffee from a trusted name. The Batistas are always cool and friendly and quick. This was very close to my work and there are a lot of business topped and meetings that happen at this location so i think its kept cleaner than most Ive seen or been to. I love their sandwiches even though they are a little overpriced and free WiFi is always nice when you can find it.

Ugh! Porno viewing and approved Racial slur Starbucks. Really? There is an employee named Mark, that I informed about a fellow customer viewing Explicit photos, etc. Only he did nothing. He didnt ask me to show him who and he went about getting his Starbucks products prepared for other customers. I was looking forward to connecting well With the Starbucks staff here, thanks to the positive friendship-connection-I made with the manager 7 to 10 days ago. So much for that desire.

Ordered a breakfast sandwich and coffee on the mobile app and arrived at the store just after 0730, only for the store to still be closed. Considering it is listed as being open at 0500 online, it was definitely frustrating for the store to have no one in it w/ the lights still off and very obviously being closed. I was unable to pick up my order as I was en route to work, leading to wasting both time and money. If the store isn’t open that early, the website needs to be updated!

This was one of the worst Starbuckses I have ever been to.I ordered a regular black coffee in a mug and the mug had dirt on the top because they place them upside down and the shelf probably had dirt and it looked like it is not cleaned for ages.The reply was not cleaning the mug or giving me a clean one but to give me the coffee in a regular paper cup which I dont like.

Went for coffee this morning and received my warm food right away - waited almost 20 minutes for hot cappuccino while every one else with cold drinks got their drinks under 5 minutes - all of whom came after me. I even asked the girl making the coffee and handing out the coffees and she didnt seem to care. Needless to say I had s hot cappuccino with ice cold food and I wS late to work. Ill stick with the drive through Starbucks in my neighborhood - they dont jump card out of order.
