I don’t know if it’s because they’re short staffed or what but this is the worst Starbucks around and has been for a couple years when it comes to wait times (have they been short staffed for like 2 years?). Absolutely ridiculous inside the store and in the drive thru. Don’t go here if you’re not okay to wait at least half an hour for anything. Not to mentioned the 5-10 minutes waiting in the drive thru for someone to just take the order and finally you get “have you been helped yet?” Then get up to the window and they don’t have what you ordered. Just go to Buchanan and Loveridge.

I’ve given this location 5 tries in the past year because I’m usually in Concord. I was stupid enough to go again today (after 6 months) and received the same nonchalant and rude customer service like before. I waited 5 + minutes for one beverage and there were two customers in the whole store that ordered after me. I can understand when someone is being trained but this was not the case. Drive thru had priority I guess. My drink was rushed and was definitely not my usual taste/texture (matcha tea) . When I asked about it another barista took my cup and made a new one, handing it back with no words or eye contact (yes, this is seriously my pet peeve) . I kept sipping outside and figured out that my milk was not oat milk. Never again…

If I could give no stars I would. I waited in line for an hour then when I reached the window to pay it took the guy a while to open the window which almost made me go inside to get my drinks. I used to work for Starbucks so I understand there being a long wait which I was trying to have patience but he could have at least acknowledged/apologized for the wait. One of my drinks was one of the frozen drinks that looked nothing like the picture. Completely disappointed in my visit.

We waited in the drive thru line for over 20 mins we finally were able to pull up to the speaker to order and no one said anything to us to take our order we waited at the speaker for 10-15 mins more we pulled forward and they immediately took the persons order behind us we pulled up to the window to complain and they didnt open it until we left the line and they opened it for the person behind us THIS WAS CLEARLY RACISM we will never ever return for this behavior do not visit this store if you have dark skin they mistreat you disgusting people and this was racism because the person infront and behind us were white

My friends were happy with their drinks and I enjoyed my chocolate chip cookie. But the fact that it took 30min just to wait for a cookie that was on food back up but then in the end of a long wait it took an employee 5 secs to grab an already to go cookie.Unbelievable

I gave it one star because these people take forever to get 2 Frappuccinos for my boyfriend and I . Like 50 mins to an hour to get our 2 drinks ? That is insane, i was in an 30 minute break from work and it wasted my time waiting for my order and it’s crazy that the customers are waiting for their drinks before I came into the store . Understandable that it was busy outside and in store but you guys have to pick up the pace with the customer service. Ordered a caramel ribbon with EXTRA caramel and when i got my order it didn’t even taste like caramel. There was no extra caramel whatsoever and the drink itself tasted like milk. Every Sunday morning, from the last 6 weeks at this starbucks location, at 1030 my dad orders a drink and a couple of breakfast food items on the app. Everytime we get there on time when the app says the order will be ready. Then I am waiting atleast 20 to 25 mins AFTER the time the app says its ready. Either the food or the drink is not ready. Either the drink or the hot food comes out on time, then the other item comes out 20 mins later. At that point, Either the food or the drink is cold and they wont reheat it again. Says they will have to make a new one and it will take another 10 mins. They need to get it together. And people need to stop walking around slow. They had atleast 8 or 9 people working. And the food lady today was walking extremely slow to give the food and then walk back to start the next order. Instead of starting it in the oven. Dropping off the food, coming back and the order be ready. Get it together or actually hire people that care and do their job on time!

Recently I order a venti Carmel Frap with extra Carmel and I received a tall Carmel Frap with no Carmel at all and was charged for a Venti. Save your money and time and don’t go here.

I actually do like Starbucks the coffee is always good. They have some delicious pastries and an amazing selection of tasty drinks. Ive never tried any of the sandwiches but I can vouch for their scones and muffins. As of 01/02/21; During the past several months, this place is consistently the slowest of all locations in the east Contra Costa area. Also they are consistently the most likely to get my order wrong. Half the time, I believe the clown at the resigister puts in the wrong order. Problem is after waiting 20 minutes for the wrong drink, nobody wants to wait even longer, I certainly dont. Its not always convenient for me to go to another location, but that is quickly becoming the better choice.

Social distancing was almost non-existent. Employees didnt seem like they were limiting the amount of people inside and there were not clear markings on the floor for 6 foot distancing while in line. They were ensuring that people had face coverings, so that was positive. Place was pretty busy inside and in the drive thru. Bathrooms are closed and the tables and chairs are stacked. I think that I will order ahead next time so that I can spend as little time in there as possible next time.

The baristas are very friendly and welcoming. I rarely have to wait even when I order ahead with very little lead time. This is my 2nd favorite location. It would be my 1st favorite but I live closer to another location that is my 1st. Many of the baristas from my #1 were brought to my #2 when they opened so I still get to see all my old baristas when Im closer to that location. I love the continuity of the baristas.

A typical Starbucks experience. Some days the products taste consistent and other days they are off. Most of the time the lines are pretty smooth tho. Also, homeless will hangout and look for contributions... however, a couple of the baristas are awesome and really get to know you when you are a regular customer.

I keep come back because its close to my house. It is one staff members that is nice. She is an older women, short hair and gold glasses. She remembers my name and always has a smile on her face. The others are not friendly at all. Robert, I always seem to go when he is working. He has never been friendly, I have seen him be friendly to other customers. Not cool. Im in the business as well, but damn.. You have to treat every customer the same. Most people dont care about, excellent customer service. Me for one I do. And I make sure I do just that every day. You have no idea who you are talk to. And what may come out of that one interaction.

I would not recommend this location. Always long drive thru lines that don’t move quickly.. just went and preordered Frappuccinos to pick up. Drive thru was longer than usual.. the Frappuccinos were not even made right. It’s Less than half of the drink & rest is whipped cream. I would post a pic but not able to. I can literally see the whipped cream in the middle of the cup when it’s only supposed to be on top..

Staff was great and the temperature inside was great since it is starting to get cold. Had fresh coffee even at 7pm. I say it because i have been to starbucks around this time and they have to do a pour over. I really appreciated that, i wish they had better types of seats because if you are going to be there for a while you want comfortable seats, like other starbucks locations. Overall I liked the place and the fact that its open late. The one by my house closes at 7pm this one closes at 10pm.

I used to love starbucks, but ever since Ive been coming to the Somersville town center location, Ive had a big change of heart on favorites. I have worked in customer service for over 10 years and let me first say the customer service is awful. The employees dont acknowledge the customers in line, nor are they polite when they do. They dont even say hello 99% of the time, which is downright rude. I see them great certain guests, but I dont seem to get the friendly attitude, which every guest deserves. The staff also talk about guests openly and have no filter on what they say out loud. I listen to one girl for 45 minutes complain and express her opinions very openly. They clearly dont enjoy being there. Today, no one even called out my drink. I personally value customer service, and I have to say, I prefer McDonalds any day. The staff are for the most part pleasant, the prices are better, the wait is way shorter as well...Extra for caramel? Come on, at least McDonalds doesnt charge extra. Starbucks is very overpriced, and the drinks are no where near as good here either. If they were as focused on working as they were chatting with each other, it might be worth the extra dollar. Im not sure if its just this location or not, but it needs improvement. I only go to this location if I have too. If I could give no star I would. If your a Starbucks drinker, avoid this location.

Ive been over charged several times because apparently its hard to make a double chocolate chip but easy to make a Java chip which have different prices. This Starbucks has to have the worst customer service of all the Starbucks in the chain. I went here four times over a 2 day period because of my sons baseball tournament at the local community college. Each time it took someone 5 minutes for someone to help me even though in each case they were not busy and I was the only person in line.. Weekend spot for me. A decent amount of seating inside with some comfortable leather chairs, but they are always full. Wifi is slow and there is no outdoor seating, not that you would want to sit outside anyway as it sits on a fairly busy street.Drive-thru is ok, with 1 out of 6 orders will probably be wrong. Inside is much better.

I come to Starbucks (Somersville Town Center only) 3 times a day and they are amazing I absolutely positively love each and every employee Brenden, Jermey, Dani, Martha, Tony, Cindy, Scooter and the list goes on.... they are all so so so amazing. Best customer service ever. Store is always clean. Outside is always clean theres seating inside and out and its always clean and ready for us coffee ☕ lovers. For anyone that ever has a problem with there drink speak up theyve Ill fix it. Ive been coming here so long I learnt that they do alot alot of training so if a new person messed your drink up say something they wont mind and it teaches that person in training. Thanks you starbucks on Somersville and delta fair for being the best and always making me and my kiddos smile♡We have since moved to Stockton .CA and have not found a store that comes close to this Starbucks but everytime we are in town 2 to 3 times a week we have to stope by.
