Customer service was consistently pretty poor. Worst I’ve seen at any Starbucks. You can definitely tell they don’t want customers there. Bathrooms were very filthy, came in one day and a male barista was wearing a belly shirt. Belly hair galore

Went to Starbucks before work ordered a grande hot coffee, there was no one else in the drive through or the store. I get my drink and I get to work and the cup feels light so I check and as the picture shows there’s a good two inches of empty space. I was in a rush so I didnt feel the lightness of the cup in the drive through but I believe I shouldn’t have to be checking to make sure I got what I paid for especially when the place was empty. I don’t believe it’s a hard task to do things right the first time. I’ve worked as a barista before and I never did things half way like this.

Bad service, rude staff, they see you and dont acknowledge you or say thank you. The guy didnt even call my name to tell me the order was ready, he just put it on the table. I had to wait until he finally said that one is yours. Barely looked at me and just pointed. I felt so uncomfortable and Im not a high-maintenance person. I see Im not the only one saying this, there are a lot of other reviews saying the same thing. Dont come here, go to the one in Tustin on first street or in downtown Santa Ana. You can even see the litter right outside,I put pictures.

10/20/21 I have to say this is the worst experience Ive had. I walked into to use my starbucks BOGO 50% off coupon and the workers werent able to add it and saying I used it already which I had not and I even showed them I had the the coupon in the app. I even refreshed the app for them and they still denied it. I brushed it off thinking it was a system error but when I order light ice in my drinks I want light ice. Look how much ice they put when I asked for light ice the stickers also says light ice. Whatever I brushed it off again because I love starbucks but when they forgot my pumpkin loaf I ordered its irritating. I got my drinks before I got the bread there was maybe 2 people in the cafe. I waited 15 mins until I had to ask them. Im definitely changing locations from now on. Dont be surprised if this happens to you.

Awesome customer serviceEdit: A few years back, I had reviewed this place an awesome 5 stars, but after today, I was very displeased with how I was treated. Around 9:30pm I had mobile ordered a single drink for in store pickup. However, the lobby was closed. The employees had seen me try to open the lobby door yet they refused to walk my way so I walked around to the drive thru window in order to speak to an employee and tell them the situation, but I was told that I had to pickup my order through the drive thru since the lobby was closed. Unfortunately, I don’t have a car so I didn’t have a way of picking up the order, so I asked if he could just hand me the order after explaining him the no car situation. Take in mind that my order was shown as ready on the Starbucks app but he still refused to hand me the order. Even though I understand these are simple regulations that employees have to follow, I would’ve appreciated them shutting down in store pickup orders on the app since they are allowed to do so for their location, but that was obviously not the case. I’m a very emotional person so I began to have a bit of a meltdown since I was talked to in a very upsetting tone. But even after noticing my voice cracks, the man refused to hand me an order or a refund. I tried my best to keep my composure so I walked away and debated wether or not to make this review since I didn’t talk to a manager, but I realize that service workers like that man are payed to serve customers in the most accommodating way possible regardless if they’re having a bad day. The way I was treated due to the stores mistake was not fair.

Don’t go to this starbucks. i live nearby, and the line at this drive through is always wrapped around the parking lot. the employees are next level slow. the last time i sat in the drive through, we waited 25 minutes. it’s a nightmare. inside is worse. with dirt and food coating every surface.this place will never have my business until it’s completely gutted inside, tented for infestation, and all current employees fired and put under new management.

Its about as Starbucks as it gets. Although, due to the recent strikes and layoffs, supply has been very short at this location, and sometimes they have almost nothing left. Starbucks, if you care about your public image, start paying a fair wage and treating your employees like adults instead of slaves. You dont help anyone out by ignoring them.

Usually I don’t do reviews and I spend my time here everyday and get to know the baristas. Today was different… I was going about my day with my family going through drive thru and waiting in line. When it was my turn I got the barista Joanna. I was ordering and asked for a steamed vanilla bean but obviously I was wrong and it was supposed to be a vanilla cream. She mentioned something that about the vanilla cream and vanilla bean but all i said was “a steamed vanilla” to see if that would be of any help. She seemed to already be annoyed to be helping me so I did not bother to think much of it since I always have an amazing AMAZING experience with the managers and other baristas. When we went up to the window everything was fine but I noticed she did not approached me like she did with the cars before me. When given the drinks I noticed I got a vanilla bean instead of a steamed vanilla cream. Once I pointed it out, she seemed annoyed and said “thats what I was telling you over there so we wouldn’t have to be waiting here” obviously that came to a shock to me because usually I never get this reaction. I completely understand it was my fault for not knowing my drink but the tone was negative enough for me to feel belittled. This was not acceptable to my aunts who were listening in and they felt disrespected that the youngest in the car who is a regular there, was being talked to in the most negative tone. They ended up telling the barista that she should not be like that and that if she did not like her job she should quick. Of course it’s understandable that she felt stressed, but I have done nothing but ask for a change of drinks. She seemed to be more worried about moving the line quicker. When we asked for her name and the receipt she sighed in annoyance and also when to the front with the other baristas to complain about me wanting a change of drink even though when i was ordering i kept repeating I wanted a steamed vanilla to see if it would clear up anything. All I wish for is that NO ONE gets the same experience of feeling stupid and belittled by a barista over not knowing the correct drink name and wanting a drink changed.Date: January 7, 2023Time: 9:00Pm

The place was very SMALL and FILTHY. Staff was extremely RUDE. The guy with lots of visible tatoos gave me a big attitude when i ordered my drink for no reason while greeting and providing regular service to others. I just arrived and tried to study for 15mn, the same rude worker that took my order said I needed to be out of the store in 5 mn. They would close the store for 1 hour and reopen after 1 hour. I had to leave and wasted my time and money. The point of me going to Starbucks was to get some work done. How could they just decide to kick customers out? Was this the new normal after pandemic? DISORGANIZED. By far the worst Starbucks location.

It’s sad to say that this location is close to my job and unfortunately I’m only able to get coffee at this location. Our boss buys us coffee from here and it’s like every. Single. Time. For a big starbucks in a shopping area/center I am very disappointed that if you dont have a car or card and the app you cant just go in and buy starbucks with your change. Next time Ill just go to the indoor mcdonalds inside walmart and get a caramel frappe. The staff also gave my mom attitude for asking if she can buy a gift card within the store and claimed they cant and wont open up a register if you want a gift card you have to go through the drive-thru

Very disappointing- I ordered a venti drink, and was given a tall drink. I then had to pay an additional 20 cents. I had to pay for their error. Also, when I ordered a drink for my coworker they had run out of supplies. If you go there expect a sub par, low customer service experience. I also want to say this location is friendly with the homeless and I think this is awesome (helping them charge their phones or use the bathroom)I know this location is in Santa Ana and they wont let the homeless hang around the location if this was in Costa Mesa or another fancy area. Friendly service. I have been here twice. The first time I was here was in a Saturday morning. It was not pretty busy but the service was fast. I think because there were more workers, the orders were given out faster. The second time I was there was on a Sunday evening and it was not as busy. There were just a few workers and the orders did take a while to give orders. Other then that it was a great experience. Very friendly as well. I will come again.

I honestly dont blame the employees. The employees are friendly and Im assuming theyre probably just consistently understaffed. Probably one of the most unorganized and unclean Starbucks I have ever experienced. Staff was friendly but from what I can see they do not keep themselves cleaned and are more focused on chatting with one another rather than making their guests feel welcomed or be part of the community. The food display was just a mess. It looked like it was a buffet line that was a first come first serve display and thats just the pastries. The refrigerator section was empty and again stuff was thrown all over from people picking up food and tossing it back in the fridge. As for rest of the store not once did anyone come by to clean tables or puck up any debris customers left behind or were any of the displays organized and maintained or stocked. I dont expect Starbucks to be 100% perfect but a 90% effort to make it pleasant and enjoyable was not given. Will I go back to this location any time soon. Probably not.

Went through drive through ordered a Frappuccino looks like they gave me one that they just had sitting there super watery, whip cream was already melted into the drink and wasnt even blended properly it had big chunks of ice that would get stuck in my straw I called the store to notify them since I didnt have the time to go back I was on my way to work and person who answered didnt even apologized just said ok I will let them know this was my Starbucks that I would go too because I was always satisfied with their service I have to look for a new location now not happy at all.

The employees could be much more nicer and approachable when ordering. It should not be a challenge to order a cup of coffee. The cashier was rude and to top it off when i was waiting for my drinks i was on one circle for social distancing and they moved me around 4 times at one point. Great ambiance. A bit loud compared to other starbucks so homework or anything along those lines will be interrupted. I recommend bringing headphones and you are solid. They have those tables that can wirelessly charge your phone as well. Outlet quantities are somewhat scarce so be prepared to share.

My girlfriend really had to use the restroom which would of taken a minute and the staff told us NO, were closed. Wow... This is how Starbucks treats their customers.
