Clean and relaxing atmosphere. Spent most of our day here waiting for our son to finish his workday. Plenty of electrical outlets and tables, so we were able to work remotely. Winter snow storm today and the coffee and hot chocolate hit the spot. Drinks were hot and made exactly the way they were ordered. Ordered through the mobile app and got our drinks in a timely manner. Has a lot of windows to enjoy the winter picturesque scenery going on outside.

Ive learned that its best to use the drive-thru to get your order in a timely manner. The staff is always polite and positive at the drive-thru window and drinks/food come out quickly. For some reason, inside has a different vibe - not as friendly and orders take a very long time to come out.

This is the only Starbucks in the area so they get slammed. Went on a Saturday afternoon. The drivethru line was long and slow. Customer service was good. Friendly staff. Management needs to staff more of them on a weekend. But definitely need to make sure you ask for light ice and hope your cup is full. Ordered a venti matcha latte and it was 3/4 full of liquid and more then 3/4 full of ice. Prob got a smalls worth of latte if that. Pretty bad that Starbucks teaches them to serve this way.

Usually my experience with this Starbucks location is good. But tonight my orders were incorrect and I was charged regular price although I used my own personal cups. I was running behind schedule otherwise I would have taken the time to have them correct my orders and receipt. It was near closing so next time Ill walk in instead of drive thru.

Its been a great New Years weekend traveling through the Sacramento area. While we were visiting the Grass Valley area, we need to take a coffee break. It was our fist visit to this location so we found this place on the map and made our way to this Starbucks. There is a quick sharp turn onto the road to this Starbucks and I found the parking spots a little tight. There was a long drive thru line, but we decided to go inside to order our drinks, shop through some of the merchandise and use the restrooms. The inside of the place was large with lot of tables and seating. They were out of a few items like sandwiches and Peppermint Mocha but we managed to find some alternate drinks. The wait wasnt too bad and we saw lots of staff behind the counter. Overall the selection of food and drink items were limited, but we got our items in a timely manner and there were plenty of places to sit and enjoy our drinks.

Friendly employees and a spacious interior that is routinely well-maintained. Im just wondering if this location will finally jump on the Doordash bandwagon like every other Starbucks, so I can have my daily flat white delivered. Pretty much every major chain and many of the local restaurants in town are on Doordash here in Grass Valley with lots of drivers available to promptly deliver my orders.

Little concerned, been coming here since theyve opened and i have enjoyed all the energetic smiling workers but the quality in hired has been diminishing. There have been 2 girls especially that have been very cranky, have even seen the rolling of the eyes. I can share this due to not having been the one to upset them, Ive only been witnessing it at a distance. Please Starbucks, dont let them ruin the enjoyment of our visits!

Worst Starbucks experience ever. I waited 25min to walk out the door and not get a drink. Waste of $5. You guys need to learn how to prioritize in house customers and let them know that the mobile drinks are going to come out first and its going to be a 30min wait! No one goes to starbucks to wait 30+min for a beverage. Terrible customer service. At least 3 other people left without their drinks. I would have waited for a refund but I spent all my extra time waiting for the beverage I never got. I would give 0 stars if I could. I will never go back here. Whom ever manages this place is not doing a very good job as you can see all the bad reviews.

I understand when there’s a coffee rush staff gets busy but after sitting there almost two hours nobody went around cleaning tables or floors. The place was disheveled and the bathroom was on par for gas station expectations. I wouldn’t post but this wasn’t my first experience like this at this particular store.

The early morning shift employees are always very nice especially the blonde hair girl who is very sweet & helpful. The brown long hair girl is pretty lame. I asked for pike which is a medium roast because the dark roast hurts my stomach & then watched her fill up half my cup with dark roast. When I asked her if it was just pike she lied to me telling me it was. I asked her if they were out of pike & she told me they just ran out & they would have to make a fresh pot. I told her I would wait for a fresh cup. It took her almost 10 minutes to make it. It seemed she was pretending to be busy while she made me wait longer. Another employee poured me the cup & apologized for the wait. The reason I started coming to Starbucks was the awesome customer service & their amazing coffee. But when Starbucks hires not so nice employees it makes me want to go elsewhere. I have been a gold member since 2014. A faithful member since. The lake of the pines Starbucks is really a better place to get your morning coffee. Most of the employees remember your name & your drink if you are a regular. 😊

The employees here make this place great! Friendly, nice, and helpful no matter how busy the day was. Lots of seating (though the back wall could use more outlets), and it was nice to see groups gather for projects or to play a game. This location has hot AND COLD for here cups. Ceramic mugs, or glass cups. Feels so fancy drinking out of these while avoiding single-use plastic disposables. Make sure to ask for your drink to stay or in a for here cup for this enjoyable experience! Refills rock too!Thanks!

Got my order wrong. This isnt the first time. They are taking the distancing thing way too far at this point. The way they choose to handle customersIs obviously a Personal choice of this location and/or the corporation. I have patronized other establishments that were not as strict and rude as this location was. Im certain that this suits many patrons but definitely not for me so therefore my opinion, one star, would give less if I could.

Its a good location and you get your drink fairly quickly. My only issue with this place is that people line up on the main road for the drive through. Freeman is a busy road and people do not need to be impeading traffic over coffee. This isnt against the establishment itself, but could be remedied by moving the location of the drive through window.

My app order for drinks was ready and correct when I got there. they might have been a little warmer, but I have a feeling they sat there for a little bit because their drive-thru is ridiculously busy.I actually had to pull into the shopping center across the street and sit at the stop sign there waiting for a chance to pull in because the drive-thru line was coming out into the roadway. They were blocking the entrance to where I couldnt even get around the line and go park in the parking lot. service and product were good, but the location definitely needs a redesign or just moved to a place where they have better access

Not a place to go if your are in a hurry. Long lines at the drive through creates traffic and parking issues every day, enough so that I take two stars off. Prices are normal for Starbucks. Sometimes the staff is on point and sometimes they are slow and seemingly confused. I always get what I ordered, sometimes it just takes a while and that can affect work or lunch times. Usually clean, and comfortable to hang out. We need a Dutch Bros across the street to compete and ease traffic.

I was on lunch for work and I did a mobile order. It took me almost 30 minutes to get my coffee! They had about 6 or 7 people in bar and they were all mostly focused on Drive Thru than the people waiting in the lobby. What makes it more annoying is I asked something so simple which was just for Extra Caramel and they didn’t even put any! I went up the to the register and let them know of the issue and they don’t even apologize. Instead of just opening up the lid of my drink and putting caramel in the cup the guy takes a cup and puts caramel in there! Then the guy I think his name was Cody or Carl, very rudely says you can pour your drink in there and just hands me the cup. Horrible customer service!

What I really like about Starbucks, is that their service is very genuine and caring. And I want to play comparison for a second. At Dutch Bros, when they say that its optional at the end to tip. They kind of put you in a position, when they asked that where it makes an individual feel bad if they dont. When Starbucks on the other hand just has a tip bucket by the sliding glass window. They dont put no pressure on you, whatsoever. By far just that alone, Starbucks has me all the way.

I have never enjoyed visiting this Starbucks for years...until the recent remodel. The seating is no longer conducive to a single visitor. The removal of individual tables has forced singlepatrons to sit at the larger tables, thus taking up the space for larger groups. My fencing club and I have been coming to this Starbucks for several years after class. We frequently number 8 or more. We would push some tables together to create a space for us. Now, with the elimination of individual tables, a large group is forced to split up, which rather defeats the purpose of gathering together. The new chairs are exceedingly uncomfortable, giving one the feeling of being discouraged to stay for long. Just this last evening, this establishment lost 12 customers for lack of seating. Whereas, in the past, we were accommodated nicely. This remodel is quite a disappointment.

Hours posted online state this store closes at 10:00pm. We pulled into the drive thru at 9:57pm to be greeted by an automated message informing us that this location was closed. Slightly annoyed that the staff decided to closely a few minutes early, I began to pull forward to exit the drive thru only to be forced to stop and wait as the car immediately in front of us was apparently waiting on their order. Annoyance turned to irritation over being turned down service because they closed early yet having to sit and wait in the drive thru anyway so that the car in front of us could receive service. My family and I patiently waited as the car in front of us received their order. At exactly 10:00pm I pulled up to the window just as the employee slammed it shut in our face! Mostly out of shock we sat there gaping for a few seconds. The girl turned towards us after a moment and gave us the rudest dirtiest look, mouthed WERE CLOSED! and then spun around and stomped off. Never have I received such deplorable service from a business. Never will I be returning!

At least 75% of the time I try to order food at this location they are out of just about all sandwiches. I have worked in foodservice and realize the balancing act of food cost/waste vs. having enough, but it would seem that whoever does the ordering here has not learned it yet. It would be one thing if it was just once in awhile or one or two products, but more often than not they are out of just about EVERYTHING. It is extremely frustrating.

I love starbucks, unfortunately this location is SO SLOW. The baristas are courteous, but it shouldn’t take 20+ minutes to go through the drive thru. My standard order is an iced green tea latte, and every other location at LEAST shakes it in the shaker but most use the blender... got mine today and saw her just pour in the milk and matcha into the cup and when I took a sip there was a GIANT CLUMP of matcha. It was gross. Spending $5 on a drink for it to be made poorly is unacceptable. I know they’ll remake it if I ask, but I go through drive thru because I have my dogs in the car with me.

I ordered 2 drinks and 2 breakfast sandwiches using the app as a treat for my friends to pick up. They got there and were told the drinks werent available and dont kniw why its on their menu so had to make something different. This is the worst run Starbucks I have ever experienced. I have always seen the Starbucks way of treating guests in the stores I have visited, everywhere from New York to California. This location has no culture, lacks training and guest service, and quite honestly the baristas and MOD this day (Kimmy and Meg) were downright rude and disrespectful. I cant remember a time or business where I witnessed and experienced worse guest service than we saw today at this Location. I can only home that this location is under new management (Janette is her name) and they will be cleaning house. There are always bratty teanagers that slip through the cracks (Kimmy) but when you have a manager (Meg) running your floor who also doesnt care about your guests, that is a disaster. If the manager doesnt care about us guests who will?? So, in closing I will not be back to this location. Unfortunate too since I have a gold card, now this poor service is costing me money. Poor all around! BE WARE... DO NOT STOP HERE... GO TO A DIFFERENT COFFEE HOUSE (unless being yelled at and talked down to by a teenager is your thing)!! I know I will never be back!

Big roomy location. Lots of tables with plugins. Cheery crew. Had to leave pretty quick though because some troll sitting nearby was sneezing and coughing. In fact a few people were spraying their germy phlegm all around. Whats wrong with people?

Why is Starbucks drip coffee so watered down?In Seattle it was great but here it is like dishwater.No reason to go to Starbucks in Grass Valley, CA because the alternatives are much much better. Why? Much of the coffee here is roasted locally so it is much fresher.Try Carolines Coffee Roasters in downtown Grass Valley. Check out my fav, Broadstreet Bistro in Nevada City.Sometimes Starbucks is the best thing around. In Nevada County the standard is higher!

Everytime I go to this Starbucks my order always wrong I always order frappuccino for myself and it always comes to me watery not icy and I ask for an extra shot and never do I get it when I order more than one I never get them at the same time this place needs to be locked down and all employees retrained I always end up waiting for more than 20 minutes for all my orders NOT HAPPY
