While the staff here were nice, this is the dirtiest Starbucks I have ever been to. Bathrooms were gross, sink had mildew and grime by the faucets, old trash can that the foot lever doesn’t work, floors in the store were gross and trash on floor in many areas, glass by the expresso machine was filthy. Looks like they don’t clean much. Wherever I go, I always try and stop by Starbucks for their clean restrooms and a drink. While this was better than 7/11, it’s an embarrassment for the Starbucks name. On top of that, we’ve been in California visiting for a week and this was the dirtiest bathrooms I’ve seen the entire time, including public rest stops. On top of that, my salted Carmel cold brew didn’t taste very good. Usually Starbucks in pretty consistent with this drink.

I had such a pleasant experience here while I was visiting Santa Barbra, most Starbucks I visit aren’t as awesome than this one. Everything was very clean and I had the best hot chocolate I have ever had at a Starbucks. The barista Luke was very friendly and made my drink fast and perfectly. Thanks Starbucks!!!!!!!!!🤌

I came at 5:35 AM (stopping on my way from LA to SF) and the workers completely locked the door, ignored my knocks and didn’t respond even though they were standing at the counter. The doors were kept locked and when one worker finally noticed me standing outside, she waved her hand to signal “go away.”I kept pulling on the locked door to show that it wasn’t opening, but she just ignored me.They should all be fired because even the manager who was sitting there chatting with them continued to ignore me.Who ignores a customer and tells them to go away. I understand that it was early, but the fact that they chose to disregard the time/opening hours and ignore me is just rude.

Honestly, this place is great to come and study. only giving it 1 star because when I went in to study today a barista was rude to a family. they obviously didn’t speak english well and didn’t understand that their drinks were ready at the bar. another barista tried to explain that their drinks were ready but I think that their hand gestures confused them so they didn’t pick them up. i understand it’s taking up space and it was the 3rd time calling their name but the barista had such an attitude. there was an obvious language barrier and could’ve been handled differently. a customer translated before I could what they needed to do and the family went on their way. obviously by the tone of voice that the barista was talking caused confusion to the family and was extremely unnecessary. they need to do better and respond appropriately. there was no need for him to get SO upset, they could’ve explained it again. please, reevaluate. thank you.

Great Starbucks, friendly staff lots of room inside to enjoy your drink and relax, outside seating available and never a problem to find parking! Also in walking distance of state street and many other stores and restaurants close by ! Always fast service as well never had any problems here with anything always 5 star service

This location has great seating and seasoned staff so you are sure to get the best version of any drink you order. The bathrooms are clean and not a swamp like some I’ve run across. The staff are engaging, they say thank you and are genuine in all their interactions. That is super rare for Starbucks. Most cafes you feel like the manager is breathing down their necks asking them why they are chatting more.

Such a bummer every time I chose this Starbucks over the one *literally* across the street at La Cumbre plaza (5 out of 5 stars on that Starbucks and the whole crew there). I am just now deciding to write a review after consistently awful experiences at this location. And to premise, the only reason I came here was because I have a lot of work to do on my laptop and there is more space here to take my things out.Came in for a flat white, was charged almost an extra dollar just to accommodate dietary restrictions. Decided against it since no other baristas ever charge extra to make a drink non-lactose… avoided an argument when asking politely why it’s different now than all the other times. The response was that “everyone else must not be doing things the way they’re supposed to” or something to that effect,I chose a new drink to avoid all problems and confrontation and landed on a blonde roast (in the afternoon it’s not ready so that means waiting for a pour-over which is absolutely no problem for me)…… in less than 3 minutes, the drink was ready (weird because pour-overs take 5-10 mins minimum…).When I took the first sip of the drink, it tasted like hot water with cream. Awkwardly, considering the first interaction with the barista serving me (Isabelle) was super weird and I had to navigate the interaction carefully to avoid problems… I shared that the drink was totally awful and that I’d like a refund. Her tone changed from the first two interactions and she made a statement that she’d put the creamer on the side so I could “control” the outcome but, the issue was with the coffee which was thinner than a cup of decaf.At all costs, avoid this Starbucks and go right across the street (less than .1 miles away) !!!! They are friendly to everyone (not just regulars) and it seems like they are happy to accommodate.Total bummer. Also, as I write this, I am listening to the baristas gossip loudly about what they think of other people. I am now packing up my laptop and heading across the street to the friendly Starbucks.

Coffee was good. Service is lacking. My daughter was ordering and Jessica thought it was ok to rudely school my daughter on how to properly order. Next time order it this way. Had she been more patient my daughter would have gotten it out that it was a frap. We wont be back to this location. One good point, this shows my daughter how not to behave.
