Fast mobile order. This Starbucks is open later than a lot of the ones in Oakland. We went here because the one on Telegraph that was supposed to be open until 8pm was closed at 6pm. The baristas were really nice, and the drinks were well made. Good stock of whole bean coffee available. Its a little difficult to get back on to 880S.

Sunday morning, line of 10 due to poor management. Understaffed.And this not to blame the manager who maybe only has allowance for three employees per shift, but if you own this store, you are failing!High volume of online orders and only three people are not enough! Praise to the employees, I hope their union supports them in changing this awful practices.

Its one of the worst Starbuck branches I have ever gone.There are better. Fruitvale/880 has people actually give a damn about what and how you requested your drink... Embarcadero location, not so much. Maybe a simple cup of coffee is about all they can serve that might suit what you ordered.Service poor, to say the least.

I use this Starbucks at least twice per week. Excellent location if you are southbound on 880. Staff are a friendly bunch, it appears that there are regulars that hang out both inside and outside. The outside has great benches that overlook the estuary.

Starbucks is my LAST RESORT for coffee places to be honest. It always tastes burnt. They charge extra for EVERY DAM THING. If you add a shot, it costs extra AND they waste the 2nd shot on the machine. If you are a coffee lover - go ANYPLACE else. My favorite is Coffee Bean and Tea 😉

I just zipped in and out of this location while running late one day. Didnt get acknowledged by staff but my carry out order was done when I got there so no harm, no foul. White chocolate mocha frappe was excellent and they subbed the correct milk. The space wasnt super busy but it was awkward to navigate. Nothing amazing or awful one way or the other.

Went in this morning at 6:23a and every person working was so kind and warm, right from walking in. Even the person leaving was super sweet.The drink I got was great, the music was great! I was just at this Starbucks … 2 mins ago …The employees here are VERY RUDE !I was being polite and ordering while the barista taking my oder goes “can you please not talk to me like that…” I was just trying to explain how I would like my drink… then the barista making my drink also was EXTREMELY RUDE …They refused to share there names …Plus they made the nastiest drinks of ALL TIME !!Fun fact I always was told there’s no “brown sugar” but they were fully stocked with it!

There were three employees, 2 boys and one girl. I was the onle customer. I ordered Hot Caramel Maciato. The cup exterior was messy and the counter had spilled drink. The girl that made the drink placed my cup on the spilled counter. Also the drink wasnt ever hot. I visited this place almost daily and never had this bad experience.

Google saying there was a drive thru was mistaken so my husband pops inside only to be awkwardly stared at by the 5 different staff members and otherwise ignored for a significant amount of time until another customer came in and they seemingly needed him out of the other guys way. The coffee is fine, the atmosphere is fine, the lack of a drive thru is fine none of those things are an issue.What is an issue is that 5 different employees just treated my husband like he wasnt a human being.Incredibly disrespectful and not okay.

As the rating suggests, its ok. In essence it is a clean space and it looked welcoming. On the other hand there were a few of the items that I wish I couldve bought, but werent in stock at the moment. In the beverages I purchased a Blended Strawberry Lemonade and it was on the foamy side more than the Lemonade side. Other than I dont complain of the rest. Just a little care at the moment of making the beverages and wouldnt mind it if in my next visit there are those missing pastry items.

It is a Starbucks in a busy location. Staff is over-worked and some are less friendly than others. I dont blame them though, its a tough time to be in a roll such as theirs where so many are upset and angry about everything. I personally enjoyed my drink. Thanks for a great drink.

I sometimes work in the area and this Starbucks Id kind of an oasis, a hidden gem. There is a sandwich spot next door if you dont enjoy the choices here but its totally adequate in a pinch and I honestly enjoy the food choices more than just sandwiches. Anyway, the coffee is exactly what you expect from Starbucks and the service is excellent. Im not sure if all the Starbucks have excellent service or if Ive just been spoiled in the Oakland area but the people that work here seem to enjoy their jobs and it improves the overall experience. Parking is good enough and the location is clean. Enjoy :)

But my experience here was so bad, that I need to WARN PEOPLE TO NEVER VISIT THIS LOCATION! Worst Starbucks I’ve ever been to, & I’ve been to plenty! There was no sort of order here whatsoever. Seemed like the barista was just grabbing random cups & making them because people who had ordered way after me received their drinks first. There was a guy who had been waiting for 30 minutes & I received my drink before him. Then once I finally got my drink, it was THE WORST COFFEE I EVER TASTED. My foam wasn’t even foam!! I threw it away & went to another location. I didn’t even want them to remake it. It was horrible.

The new iced coffee lineup they have is absolutely delicious. I was a little apprehensive about paying $4 for medium coffee but it was well worth it. This particular Starbucks isnt anything special, I really feel like at this point in time we all should know what to expect from Starbucks. I would say that in general, Ive noticed a decline in Services Starbucks, Im sure that they have adjusted their payroll fiscal model and have less people on hand at all times. With that being said Starbucks is still a safe bet if you want quality product. The service can take forever, which I feel like the coffee industry has allowed us become accustomed to.

The one unique thing about this Starbucks is its waterfront view with plenty of seats outside. I often come here to enjoy sunny afternoons and watch the beautiful Oakland waterfront view. Besides the bartenders are very quick and good with making great drinks.

Got a notification on the official Starbucks app about a buy one get one free after I ordered a drink. Instead of offering to void the previous transaction, the clerk suggested that I buy another drink to get 1 free, for a total of 3 drinks. I getit that I am getting a drink for free, but still its so much easier to have voided a previous transaction... Not good service I guess.

Staff is friendly but slow sometimes. Seating is limited and only one bathroom, with as many people that like to camp out and use the WiFi its overdue for a redesign of the interior. The music is sometimes too loud and makes carrying on a conversation or listening to media with earbuds frustrating. In the past Theyd announce loudly every 5 minutes they were closing during the last hour which was annoying and distracting to wrap up any work I was doing. Super convenient location though.

The distinctive thing about this Starbucks is its easy access on and off the freeway if youre southbound on I-880.For that alone Id give it 5 stars -- except that its a small Starbucks inside and too popular for the amount of parking available (its not a drive through). So hats off for the location with a ding for the oftentimes difficult to park situation.In all other respects - hey, its a Starbucks - its exactly what you expect.

Met someone at this Starbucks for a business meeting and the extremely friendly woman who helped me gave me not only gave me a free sample of a tea I was considering (Joy, which was very good), but she also offered me a free blueberry scone that was slightly broken AND offered to warm it up for me. Ive had outstanding service in just about every Starbucks Ive been in but this experience was over the top. A great way to start out the new year! People like that are what makes a behemoth corporate giant like Starbucks not appear cold and sinister.

If I could give this Starbucks Zero stars I would. The female cashier on Tuesday evening shift around 3pm is extremely RUDE.We asked for the dragon drinks and mango dragonfruit and she just looked at us said No with an big attitude. Okay fine.But when I asked why they dont have it, she just looked at me said No we dont have it. Like it is my fault to order the drinks that they cant make. Okay fine.Then she told us it would take more than 15mins to wait for ONE frappuccino. This is my favorite Starbucks for relaxing while enjoying a cup of coffee. While it is on the Embarcadero, fronting the I880S, it is remarkably quiet there, especially if you go to the back of the building. There you will find the Bay Trail which runs along the waterfront. There is a great view of the marina and Coast Guard Island.

If youve ever been to a Starbucks, you know what to expect, service- and product-wise. However, despite how crowded this Starbucks can get, the lines are never long, for long, as the cashiers and baristas work really fast to get you in and out the door (or into a seat). Not to mention, the Wi-Fi is incredibly fast, despite how many people are using it (definitely, use a VPN, though, as you never know who could be snooping on an open [and popular] Wi-Fi network). The staff, here, are really friendly; the smell of the coffee will definitely lure you in; the sandwiches, breads, and salads are more than decent, for to-go food; and, you even get a discount, if you bring a Starbucks-branded mug in (I usually do, and I normally get black coffee). This location is on Embarcadero Street, in a small plaza, with a small parking lot. So, parking may be an issue, depending on when you visit. Still, if you need to satisfy your caffeine fix, I cant recommend this Starbucks enough!

Nice spot right off the highway on the Oakland side of the Sanfrancico Bay. Views are nice as it backs up to a marina and sunsets can be very nice.Outdoor seating too.
