If I could rate a zero, I would! I went to the Starbucks at 711 Cannery Row in Monterey, California, and had an extremely poor experience. I placed my drink order and asked if I could use two cards for split payment. I explained to her can you please just charge four dollars on this card? That’s what I have on my Cash App. I will therefore use the remainder of the payment on my Visa. Working as a cashier full-time, I always make sure to act very professional and polite to customers service workers. When she couldn’t do the tasks as handed, the barista who took my order acted rudely. I explained to her that she was not splitting the payment on her system, and she was trying to charge me the full amount of seven dollars for the coffee when I only have four dollars on the cash app.Therefore, the card kept on declining and she was giving me dirty looks and I explained I only have four dollars. Can you charge four dollars? The barista grabbed my card out of my hand and got upset with me even though I told them it was okay and I will pay with an another card after asking her coworker for assistance. Her coworker then grabs my card and jams it into the card reader creating a mark in the card. I then said again I can just pay with my Visa. It’s fine. At this, I got dirty looks from both baristas. My friend proceeds to then order a water and the barista said that’s all you’re really gonna get. I thought Starbucks employees were supposed to act nice that’s why we all waste our money there. After this innocent, I went and sat down with my friends.I then received my coffee and the male barista shoved my coffee down very roughly on the counter and gave me a dirty look when I picked it up. I proceeded to say thank you have a good day and he ignored me. I then took a drink of my coffee and it tasted extremely bitter and burnt of espresso. I have never experienced anything like this at a Starbucks near me and this is very unprofessional on the Starbucks location. I will be contacting corporate. This location may ask me why didn’t you just have them remake the drink? I didn’t have them remake the drink because your workers make me feel uncomfortable. Isn’t Starbucks considered a safe place! This is another reason for me to just stop getting Starbucks due to the acquisitions are being made against the war and the increased prices of the coffee there. Now they’re own employees. Don’t even know how to act professional! I will now go to Dutch Bros instead!Drink: caramel macchiato iced

Delivers what a Starbucks is known for in terms of food and coffee but the the barista (girl with long hair and braids) is very rude. She almost slammed customers coffee cup at the pickup station. I would give this Starbucks very low rating just because of this behavior

Cannery Row in Monterey, California. The Crepe place on Cannery Row has some of the best crepes Ive ever had. So delicious! We had some Old Time photos taken in a shop on Cannery Row as well. Great photographer and good time. Then there is the Hydro Massage and oxygen bar as well... the hydro massage is to die for and the staff there are professional and super accommodating. We had a great time even being masked up 24/7. Theres a $100 fine for not wearing a mask currently.

Pretty awful Starbucks. Staff is so busy running their mouths that they forgot one of our drinks. When i asked for what i paid for, I got attitude and waited another 10 min while they all talked some more.When we got back to our room, we realized both drinks were wrong. Epic Fail. Walk a little further down the street. This place sucks.

I ordered mocha crumble cappuccino, its winter time and you really need coffee. Not that sweet, loved this coffee. 👍

A very unique interior that for the cannery row vibe. Exposed beams and lots of raw iron. Friendly staff and quick service.

A little worn, but still the cozy wifi cafe spot we have all come to frequent. Door is a little inconspicuous, see pics so you dont miss it.
