Just simply put; the absolute WORST star bucks Ive ever been to in terms of customer service and sales.Background: Desperately needing to go to the restroom, I spend $20 to buy access to it thinking there are no other restrooms in the area for miles, but of course a Starbucks naturally will have one, only to be told after ordering that they did not.Fine... Im the only customer in the store at the time, so my order will take just minutes and Ill be back on my hunt before I wet myself, so I asked them to just please expedite my order and Ill run somewhere else.15 min later, Im still waiting... About to lose my bladder, and in the inerem, 20 kids show up who promptly get served within minutes after placing their orders as I stand there in pain dumbfounded. One after another get taken care of as I stand there like an idiot waiting on just 2 items.I understand the need for this location to kiss the butt of the local tween population, but that shouldnt come at the expense of other customers. I fear this negative review for the worst Starbucks Ive ever been to will noboudt fall on deaf ears as my paltry $20 means nothing. But I couldnt stand by and not say something to alert any adults hoping to find customer service of any type at this long beach store.

Absolutely fantastic Starbucks! The first thing I noticed the moment that I walked in the door was how nice and cozy it was inside. I was greeted with a genuine smile by the barista which normally doesnt happen in LA. Very kind, professional, and courteous service. My food and beverage were great and the atmosphere was very pleasant.You can also sign up and connect your Starbucks app to pay for your order using the palm of your hand.Definitely a Starbucks worth visiting!

This is a great little starbucks to get your coffee/tea/latte in the middle of your shopping or just passing through. There are very few places to sit around the cafe, so I recommend not lingering around. Still a great little cafe and the staff there are friendly.

The short brunette at the register was very kind but all the other workers were terrible. They laughed when we were looking for a restroom. The taller girl with reddish hair practically threw our sriracha at the table and seemed to be bothered that we even asked her for some. Never said sorry even after dropping the sriracha on the floor when she threw it and we had to pick it up. I wanted to ask for a straw but she left without room to ask. Very rude and overall bad experience.

My drink did not taste the same as I ordered at a different location. I ordered a vanilla sweet cream cold brew with brown sugar this drink unfortunately tasted like mcDs iced coffee. My coffee drink lacked coffee and sweetness. ☹️ It tasted like a milk drink...This location makes me not interested in Starbucks, and I go their on rare occasions. I requested light ice, and I still had tons of ice. I really dont recommend this place. Youre better off going to the LB docks and ordering a coffee over there instead.

I debated back and forth whether I wanted to post about my experience this morning, however, given this has happened on a few other occasions I thought it was necessary. I religiously come to this place daily but after the last few interactions, I don’t think I’ll be coming back. The level of service and attitude you receive from staff is subpar. Additional training is needed for staff who struggle with stress when it gets busy. If you want a sour start to your morning, go here.think I will support another location or a smaller coffee shop. Hopefully, they’ll get the customer service piece right.

Came here to buy my kids their usual oat milk matcha latte, but was served an impotable clumpy bitter green slurry that even 4 agave packets couldn’t remedy. Upon requesting a remake, the cashier informed me that Starbucks secretly changed their pre-sweetened Matcha to a new formula and many people have been complaining! Though the staff was happy to make another, unfortunately -and much to our dismay- it still came out bitter! Only after adding another cup of steamed oat milk and more agave did it start tasting like the drink my kids were used to. I was very upset with the experience, but not the staff! We don’t buy Starbucks much these days and I wanted to give my kids a lil treat.. if you want to switch formulas atleast alert people! Not cool Starbucks! Not cool.

My morning was MADE due to the interaction I witnessed with Chelsea and James. Chelsea (I hope I’m spelling her name correctly) was kind patient, loving and overall fantastic in a way we just don’t see anymore. Typically I cannot be pulled away from my phone but I had to put it down to witness this. Chelsea showed care and knowledge of her customer (James) even when making drinks at the bar while the customer was at the register. She then talked engaged and showed so much love in a way that made me leave a better person. I am tearing up writing this because in a situation where I have seen people be rude and impatient Chelsea is a class act even when the customers around her didn’t understand or even rolled their eyes. We all need to be more like her.

The store gets busy easily though out the day, especially if there’s a convention or conference across the street. The line can build up quite quickly. I definitely recommend Mobile pick up. There’s really no short term parking or drive through so I wouldn’t recommend this location as a stopover since there’s no guarantee you can find parking. The staff are friendly and the menu is familiar. Overall, this is a convenient location for conference attendees at Long Beach Convention.

I didnt have any breakfast (so cant really give any higher stars for this reason) as I had some porridge back in my hotel room but I loved the vibe of this joint. I was recommended a honey almond flat white with caramel drizzle and it was outstanding. Really enjoyed stopping by and warming up from the cold outside. Plenty of seats available, pet friendly and outside seating too. Service was just great. Ill be going again tomorrow. Good job folks.

I like to place mobile orders because its just less time overall. Before leaving I would submit it and then just go to the store and pick it up easy and simple. No I had to wait over 15 minutes and I just thought its just busy but no, everyone after me got their order and while I was waiting no one acknowledged me or was purposely ignoring me at the pick up counter. I finally decided im going up to the register to get a refund. The barista at the register was very friendly and understanding unlike the others at the pick up bar.

Starbucks on the West Coast is the same experience as on the East Coast. From where I sit, that is great. Starbucks is consistent and has the same feel no matter where you walk in. Never been this disappointed in a Starbucks. Bathrooms aren’t open to the public because of homeless issues? Get a lock with a button code then. Only public restroom nearby didn’t open for over 1.5 hours. If this was a Starbucks express I would expect it, but not from a walk in store. Bad form SB. I’ll go elsewhere.

It’s typically a decent Starbucks but whenever it’s busy because of the convention center, ppl in the long line get there drinks first even if you Mobil order it before they get there. Was pretty frustrated after waiting 20 mins seeing everyone in line order and get there drinks before me. Then once I got to my car my drink was made completely wrong. People here are friendly, but overall seems they need a different system to work more efficiently.

I like to go to this store in the morning when most people just get their coffee and leave. No other stores in the mall are open at those hours, and it feels extremely calm. Things do get crazy here though when theres a big convention going on across the street. I like their idea of limiting one door for entry, and customers generally sense they should use the other for exit; this setting makes the traffic flow nicely. Now they put a few more tables outside, and I think Ill start going to this store even earlier to enjoy the serenity and the crispy air.

I’ve been coming to this location for 8 months and everyone here at this Starbucks is great and friendly except one person “STEPHANIE”. She’s always at the register with attitude and bad service to me. Today was really bad she threw my change back to me and walked away. I tried to avoid her sometimes by going to other locations but it’s really inconvenience because I live right next to this location. I really wish Starbucks would contact her manager and put a friendlier person like Kelly to greet customers in the morning or anytime of the day. No customer should be going through this. It’s people like Stephanie that makes the bad name for Starbucks but their coffee it’s good that’s why I keep going to it. I share this so hoping that she can be in a better place in her life. I go here before work and they constantly mess up orders, it is very annoying when I spend my points or extra 2 dollars for my drink to be customized and they dont make it correctly, even worse when the starbucks app shows they are out of almost every item but they have everything in the store. They are constantly put of items to make things on the menu which is very irritating. Everytime I let them know they messed up the workers get mad at ME! None of the workers here are nice or seem like they want to work there. Even when they are not busy the workers will make you wait up to an HOUR for one drink. Would not recommend

My review is based on 4 things: food, service, price, and atmosphere. The food, Pita Chilquiles, was on point. It wasnt spicy (which I do like), but it reminded me of my aunts food. Great flavor, good portions, great price. Service was great too, they were busy, with 9 parties ahead of us, but we still got in quick. Service was fast and attentive, waiter was attentive. The price for 3 of us, was 50 not including tip. Definitely hard to beat. I highly recommend it. The atmosphere was great too. It had this great nostalgic feel to it, with some great unique decorations. A mixture of artsy, retro vibe to it. Definitely check it out.

This Starbucks is very convenient if you are staying at the pike centric hotel .We used it about three or four times during our stay . On most occasions the server got the order wrong . Perhaps it was our English accent but more likely that the young man was not listening ! I was then made to feel I had made a mistake when they ridiculously served English breakfast tea with hot latte milk .From a positive point of view the produce is good and the coffee shop is kept clean .All in all though, a rather frantic and unpleasant experience.Undoubtedly the staff need more training.Go with low expectations and you will be fine.

I wanted to review this location because it really is a great place to get coffee. I’ve pretty much been getting my coffee here several times a week for about 6 months, and every single time I’ve had a really positive experience. The staff is really friendly and super genuine. Just off the main shopping area at the Pike, this coffee house is an excellent option to caffeine up and take a break from using credit cards. Waited just a little over a half an hour from 11pm to 11:32 pm 3/12/21 at this 24 hour location off the 91 right before Safaris Club drive going Eastbound.. It was real busy but worth the wait. Kudos to those 3 associates 2 girls and 1 guy hustling, and moving around with urgency taking, making, and handing out orders and most of all having to deal with either half drunk, or Kranky tired and grumpy Karens or Darrens trying to get their fix and continue down or up the 91 freeway. You guys were awesome. I heard some rude customers in a couple of cars ahead of me who were very irrate about the wait but the 3 associates handled them professionally and like Champs. Did not catch their names but I hope corporate will give them some recognition with the time stamp I have provided. You guys are Rockstars 🎸 🤘!

This is supposed to be an apple crisp macchiato. What I got was apple flavored iced milk. Absolutely disgusting and undrinkable. How does this even happen?Not to mention, my food and drink were a delivery order, and were not put in a bag, or sealed in any way including the sticker that is supposed to come over the drink hole. My food and drinks were sitting outside unsealed on my doorstep surrounded by flies. Now I’m out my money for whatever you want to call this drink since it’s certainly not coffee, and UberEats doesn’t replace items when they are made incorrectly and won’t give me a refund. This starbucks is large and comfortable. Its on the backside of the Pike outlets, but is typically not too crowded. I worked a few days here and the wifi is solid.Bathrooms can be iffy due to lots of vagrants in the area, but it is very safe - Ive seen cops hanging out here several times before.

I never rate Starbucks more than 3 stars on my personal belief the lose 2 automatically because the coffee tastes burnt. But this particular Starbucks is just a mess. Been here 5 times now and never have I seen such a dirty Starbucks and it new. Always trash laying around on the floor, guess in the defense of the place they tend to be always busy. No excuse though the design of the place is way to cramped and the accommodation for visitors to sit is not comfortable.

This Starbucks has to be the worst one Ive ever visited. To begin with, the traffic of this store is based on the events surrounding the convention center. If there is ANY event happening across the street, then the line will be out the door. To add to that, this Starbucks cant control inventory because of the drastic changes in traffic. Ive been to this Starbucks way too many times only to see half of the food options. Service is adequate at best, but its clear that the average young barista here has no desire to care. There is also a abnormal feeling I recieve here with the way that the homeless just stare at customers here, but that is something out of control. Lastly, I would assume that all of this is based off a few bad experiences, however, after the opening of a recent Starbucks in Long Beach traffic circle, I realised that there are better places to spend my money.

Near the convention center on my way to work so I always mobile order to avoid unexpected lines. In the past, I have had a few orders go wrong or made poorly, but the current baristas are doing a great job. If it is a nice day to sit outside, the location is good to spend time at. However, if you want to sit I side there isntich space and can get loud.
