Went there this afternoon to get a cafe mocha grande drive in. Unfortunately I did not realize that I was given half a cup of the beverage. Unbelievable that you can’t even trust them as I was trying to hurry and not hold the line up. My advice check your order before driving away. It doesn’t matter how long you take to ensure you get what you order. I will never go there again.

I have been to hundreds of Starbucks across the US; I’ve only been to this location once, but the quality of my drink… it could’ve been the model to show others how to make the drink. It was perfect. And they have nugget ice?! 10/10. Try this Starbucks. Outstanding.

So I pull up and order a black and white, no one announces that they are in training, the guy then asks me what is in the black and white and says you want mocha and white chocolate? and when responding yes Im pretty sure that is what is in the black and white I get told Im speaking to the batista wrong...what now? I dont work here, why am I telling you this and then getting scolded for it, when you asked. Store in Oceanside at 2263 S El Camino I will not ever visit again. That was not good customer service and out of line. Dont ask the customer what they think is in the drink if you dont like the answer. If you are in training and that is why you dont know then please say so, you dont need protection from someone else who then makes it like I am being rude because I answered you.

Im very impressed with Isham and Mikayla. There was another guy with glasses his name is Vincent, and he was very kind and helpful too! Rachel is super awesome too! I love the team here! Mikayla helped me at first. She greeting me very warmly and she was very friendly! It just started everything in a very positive note! I got my modified medicine ball since the Starbucks was out of a couple of teas, but no worries since they always make the best combinations and the drink came out amazing! I admire the teams positivity and great team work. When another different was going on break I overheard one of the workers offer her a drink. That was so nice. When I was getting my order taken it was swift, professional, friendly. Also when I got more water for my cup I was offered honey by Isham. I thought that was super awesome of him. He is very professional, his hair was styled better than most office professionals I used to work with! He is very kind, and helpful! I imagine him excelling in anything he chooses to do especially sales with his genuine charisma! I really appreciate the attention to detail in wonderful, hospitable customer service. They welcome you in when you go in. They even remember regulars names. I am not a regular at this Starbucks but when I ordered Mikayla remembered my name! A+ !!! I gave like a little more than triple than what I give for my tip! The music is great too! Great team with good taste! You guys are an uplifting, positive, team. I hope you all get acknowledged for the hard work you guys do.

I can say that this Starbucks has made a comeback. One of my previous times coming to this Starbucks, they had messed up my order pretty bad (always come here, and one other location ordering the exact same drink) and it was somehow the weirdest mixture Ive ever had, and didnt even taste like my drink, and my wifes drink had Apple juice that didnt taste right. I had written a large complaint about it and erased it in the end because I love these locations, and one bad interaction isnt worth a crazy reaction when the other 100s of times they did it perfectly, or basically perfect.

This particular starbucks is the slowest starbucks I have ever been to. They move with 0 sense of urgency. I would highly recommend avoiding this location. Literally fully staffed. Should not take 30 minutes plus to make 2 cups of coffee cmon people.

Terrible experience the last couple times I’ve been to this one. Did a mobile order and when I got to the window the girl who was there around 4:15pm on Tuesday 8/22 had no idea what was in my order. She kept trying to rush me away and had to go grab things three different times. She had the worst attitude. Drinks were also made wrong so made the experience even worse on top of everything.

The order taking, all went well until I asked the barista to add just a little bit of whip cream! He said that they charge for that! I couldnt believe they would charge for just a little bit of whip cream. I dont even know if he added 1 pump of hazelnut like I asked. Then he turned around, right in front of me and complained to the person that took my order. He looked pretty angry! The sweet girl did not say anything to him! I did not say a word and just left! I had such a sad experience today at this location.

I had a very poor experience at this location today. I am always polite when it comes to a wrong order but all of the workers that I spoke with were rude and simply can’t handle the pressure of working here. They treat every customer that speaks up as if they’re a karen.

Always nice and polite people. Very busy location at times, but not slow. They make your order quickly and correctly. I frequent this store 5-6 times a week some times twice a day. I have had maybe 2 mistakes both where when someone was in training which is expected and not a complaint.

In here all the time so truly tried to give this a fair shake...Ive barista for 12yrs and work at Starbucks as manager for 5yrs in past. Supervisors need staff back to basics and better support when in weeds esp hot bar.Consistently see 1-2sec foam aeration and sandwiches not heating all way through. Ive told them this feedback as well. Arent their daily checks in place for this right?It saddens me because the Customer service is absolutely there N friendly as all get out just not up to par with the basics Starbucks preaches. Would definitely have random re-evaluations n rotate slower baristas off peak busy times. 🙏

Store displays temp hours sign Thursdays 5 am - 6 pm. That’s fine, but when they can’t even honor the hours displayed, and lock the doors 30 minutes early, that sucks.Not a great experience Starbucks management. Please have some integrity and at least update your temp hours so that Starbucks patrons aren’t making pointless trips.

Service- 0 stars. Drink accuracy- 4 starsThis location is focused on the drive through not walk-ins. It feels as you bother them when you walk in. I hate drive through, you end up 30 minutes in your car when you can just walk in and get your coffee..Avoid when possible, I use the target Starbucks when I can, more friendly stuff, very fast and accurate drink.

Be prepared to plan 3x as long as any other Starbucks to get your drink here. Ive never seen a slower Starbucks crew in my life. They are friendly but painfully slow. Not to mention 75% of the time it takes 15 min or more to get through the drive thru, regardless of how busy they are or the time of day (1 time it took me 25 minutes and the 1 thing I wanted they didnt even have since their machine was down again). The location is amazing and super convenient, but Ive found myself driving to the Target Starbucks instead, since I can be in and out in under 4 min

I’ll admit I don’t go to Starbucks every day but when I do I use the drive through. Every time I’ve been to the drive through at this particular Starbucks I’ve had to wait at least 15 minutes or more to get a coffee. I’ve never experienced this at any other nearby location. In fact never at most Starbucks drive through locations. If you’re in a hurry don’t go to this location or park and go inside. It will be quicker. I’ve tested it. The only problem is that the parking at this Starbucks is weird. Parking lot is not conducive to easily getting a space nor exiting. The whole experience is time consuming. Don’t go there if speed and convenience is important.

My husband came through the drive through and ordered a venti iced white mocha, we get to the window and she tries to hand my husband a hot drink and he say uh sorry it’s supposed to be iced. And she is a B1tcsh and is like “we’ll make sure you say that” I was like he did! She gets more of an attitude and then hands us a grande iced drink at this point It’s what ever cause we have to go to work. I use the drive through. At first, they disappointed me, and even till today, they continue to disappoint me. Somehow, someway, the staff manages to always get my order wrong. Its really my mistake that every now and then, I go to this one on my way to the freeway, and by the time I take a sip of my drink, Im already down the I-5 or in Vista, and I dont have time to call, complain and drive back to change my drink. I dont have this many bad experiences with other Starbucks around Oceanside. Maybe they dont really care enough to get the order right the first time.I do have to give credit for the friendly staff though.

Not sure if all staff is on same page. I ordered a mocha frappe. Upon ordering i asked do you put wjipped cream and chocolate drizzle on it, this is the way i always get it at all other locationd i have been to. Anyhow at pick-up window, no whipped cream or chocolate drizzle. I asked the young lady at the window why they had not put it on she simply said we dont do that. I asked her to please put some on, so she put whipped cream on it through the dome cap opening and squirted the chocolate thru the same opening into my drink???? Now i have my drink back and all this sticky coffee mixture and cream all over dripping down the cup. I was not happy when i looked down and saw it had dripped on my clothing and seat of the car. Not a good starbucks experience at this location...will not return here again. This location has been X on my list.

The people are friendly enough and got me my drink in a timely manner. However, they got my drink wrong and instead of fixing it, they argued with me that it wasnt how Starbucks in San Diego make that drink. Well generally Starbucks in San Diego normally dont add 6 pumps of syrup to a grande, its normally 4 according to their app. They especially dont add it when you dont want it to be sweetened. I understand that you normally add syrup to anything you add a shot of flavor to, but if the customer asks for just a cold brew with just a shot of flavor without classic syrup, why cant you just give them what they want instead of arguing with them?

I was not able to order what I wanted through the app and picked up in the drive through. They still could not get a verbal order correct and then corrected it. When I asked for a trenti ice water the manager said they were running out of big cups and I couldnt have one. I received two small ice waters instead. I ordered eggbites as well and they did not have a tray and appread very unappetizing alone in a paper bag. I will not be back to this location. They do not treat you very well here and it is more so the management as the staff are very sweet.

I usually give this place a 5 star, but my most recent visit, the store was not very clean, the staff was not as organized as usual, and my drink was not as delicious as usual. Well, we got our happy hour drinks so that was cool. Unfortunately we waited near 15 minutes in the drive through which only had 4 cars in front of us. Seems there was a delay at the window as even when we were there it took several more minutes to get 2 drinks. Taste of my hot peppermint mocha is good. My boyfriend got the cafe vanilla frap and its a bit to sweet for him. No fault really to the barista, we never had it before so will have to ask for half the vanilla next time. We visited this location today and the service was completely ridiculous. We went through the drive thru and placed our order. The girl taking our order repeated it back to us and my husband had to correct her twice. We arrive at the window to receive our drink and it was not at all what we ordered. The girl who took our order was so rude and disrespectful not only to us but to her coworkers. It always felt like any other Starbucks. One thing in google map details though, it shows it being inside Target store. This is incorrect. It is in the same shopping strip and shares a big parking lot with Target but is not inside the Target store.

Failure failure failure. I have been here multiple times per month over the last few years. I have had conversations with a different store managers and district managers that run the store and they still just cannot get it right. I dont buy espresso drinks or blended caramel what nots, I get a cup of coffee. It is consistently cold or weak or burnt. They cannot add a light amount of cream and sugar, I have to ask them for these items separately and mix them in my car. If I order a splash of cream in my coffee, I get half a cup of milk with a little bit of coffee added. Does anyone really put that much cream in their coffee? The employees who work here have no passion for what they do, zero pride in the product and do not care about the customer. There is a new person at the window every time I go so it must be a horrible work environment and it shows in their service.

The lines are outrageously long and they must not have enough personnel as I have wasted many gallons of gas. There are many other food establishments that have done it right. Sadly Starbucks was not one of them.

Starbucks employees here seem to be too busy to try and keep up with cleaningness of the lobby. Tables hadnt been cleaned and the floors were very dirty. I will not be stopping here for coffee again! Bathrooms were just as bad! Maybe a little worse. Starbucks has high standards and is highly reputable. And for that reason the lobby should always be clean!

Not sure how the employees know what to put in each drink, but the ones at this Starbucks need some help. I ordered a simple mocha frap through the drive thru only to taste it a block away and have it taste nothing like one. It just tasted like sweet chocolate milk. I usually wouldnt go back to get it replaced but i was really craving one. I went in this time and the worker was nice about making me another one. Only, when I tried it again, it was the same thing! No coffee whatsoever. I didnt have time to ask for a replacement again so i just left, with my sweet chocolate drink.

I loveeeeeee coming to this particular location, they always greet me with a smile and try to accommodate me to the best of their abilities.Today I went in to get my birthday drink and Courtney greeted me with a big mask smileand by name. Went to drive true and very tired and asked for a large black tea and told them I want my tea bag on the side cuz I cannot drink dark tea. The guy gave me the tea bag on the side but put another tea bag inside. By the time I came back to my hotel room my tea was a dark as a dark coffee. I bought a $15 gift card and 2 drinks for my self and my girlfriend and the total came up to $25. The cashier had trouble with the cashier or something but it looked suspicious. I bought the gift card for my little sister for her birthday. 2 days had passed since i had the gift card until I gave my sister the gift card. She went to register her gift card to her starbucks account and the gift card said it had no balance on the card. I called up the Starbucks that same day and they said that they would give me a new gift card with the full amount on it. I explained to them that Im not from the area and I wouldnt be in Oceanside for about a week. The employee said its fine he will write a note and I shouldnt have any problems. When I went into the starbucks a few days later they said they cant do anything for me and to call cooperate. I went outside in the parking lot and called the they told me that someone took all the amount from that card the same day and transfered to another account. They are looking into it. They do not know what time they close the “lobby” and have changed the time two days in a row on me and it’s very frustrating when I am trying to plan projects and such. They close a half hour earlier than the time on this states even though every other Starbucks is open until the time listed on here. Avoid the crowds and the employees who are misinformed and rude.

This is a busy Starbucks. My friends and I meet here occasionally. If youre coming for the product, it doesnt disappoint. If youre coming to socialize and dont mind the odd mix of music, its a great place to meet up. If youre trying to get work done, its one of the noisier locations. Id suggest you visit the one off of old grove and mission next to Ralphs or the one on the corner of College and Oceanside blvd. Theres a comfortable, rather smallish one on College and River next to dollar tree. And most the seating is low. This is important for those of us with pain and or disabilities.

Horrible service..Not by the barista but the actual register..It was a girl with either braces or a retainer..She had one job after observing how this location operated..All she had to do was take orders and names from the register..She lacks communication skills needed to relay messages over..Told her my name twice and she just writes a letter y on one cup after I ordered 2..Mind you, its during a rush session so names matter on cups for the baristas..When my order comes up I can see in the baristas eyes hes aggravated and tells the girl we have no cold brew and tells her she shouldve asked any one of them if there were any left..I didnt mind the iced americano substitution but I wasnt accommodated towards the price change and had to wait again to receive an incorrect amount of change and just decided to leave since the girl couldnt even do basic simple math to hand me the correct amount of change I was owed.. Throughout all this I never lashed out because its ignorant to see it online and maybe it was an off day for this crew..All in all a job is a job and you get paid not to screw up..Plain and simple
