Best customer service I’ve ever received in Starbucks. They greeted me with a big smile that made me fell I’m welcomed. Restroom is clean. I ordered a blueberry scone but they are out. The only one available is in the display. I took it anyway. The baristas didn’t charge me for it at the end.

Wonderful customer service especially considering the morning rush and raining. I always find Starbucks is busier in the rain lol. Parking wasn’t bad. It’s a small business center so sometimes it can be congested. It’s clean inside and out on the patio. Nice and pleasing to the eye.

We decided to come to this particular Starbucks and a lady by the name of Maria who is the barista was extremely loud and rude and a little obnoxious when telling the other employee Bella that she needed to make some food while she was in the middle of taking our order.Bella and everyone was startled at how rude Maria was. However Bella was extremely apologetic and very kind to us. I feel that Maria should go back to customer service school and learn how to talk to people and not be so aggressive, strong and rude.Maria needs to read this sign that is posted in her Starbucks and practice it over and over agin until it make sense to her.

This our closest location. Always friendly, accommodating and rapid service. Small, cozy surroundings. They allow you to sit and socialize or work as long as youd like . I often use the mobile app to order a decaffeinated salted caramel mocha over ice. No whipped cream, 3 pumps for the venti size instead of the traditional 6 pumps.

The manager Andy is incredibly rude to the customers. Every time i go in, she’s always talking about the customers in such a rude way when they’re not around to hear it. She’s super rude to the homeless people that come in, and for no reason! i often overhear the baristas talking about how their milk is expired and they STILL serve it to people. It’s disgusting and appalling. their trash is often overflowing and the toilet is constantly covered in DOODOO STREEKS! The other baristas are cool though, very friendly people. The dude with the piercings was cool

OH JUST BE CAREFUL ANYONE WHOSE HUMAN! Isn’t it normal for people to make mistakes? My daughter (13 ) accidentally took someone else drink and it was just too late after she realized it, so she went back to the store and apologizes and offered to buy the lady’s drink. But she horribly answered back to her saying that “how can she actually mistake her drink for ours” and so on, speaking horribly back to my daughter! My daughter offered to buy her drink. And the lady insisted her to buy it for her but when she realized I was with my daughter she suddenly became the nice guy! Saying that she shouldn’t do such a thing! But by this time, my daughter already feels so guilty! We go to one of the Starbuck’s workers (hoping she would make my daughter feel better about the situation) maybe offer some help on what we can do but NO she just humiliates my daughter even more, scoffing saying “ how you even mix up these two drinks.”. I just want people to know about the service of this place before their next visit to this place!

I just had a good experience at this Starbucks. The actual barista who is closest to the front door was super friendly with his greeting, The order went through perfectly fine, the barista thought I was somebody else, so he tried to address me by name, it was incorrect, but I appreciate the effort… So anyway, a friendly experience with standardized product, which they’re famous for, was had by me.

I hate this place already. I just went for two iced lattes with soy milk and a chocolate pop. And the coffees are horrible. So strong. And they put regular milk instead of soy milk. I never ask for an extra shot of espresso or anything. No wonder that MF charged me more. This hot day and traffic times. That mf was lucky l didnt go back. I just wasted my money.

Stopped here for a quick coffee and breakfast. The staff was very kind and I had the impossible breakfast sandwich. It was actually super delicious!! I was very pleasantly surprised. Just a heads up there is no drive thru so you need to get out of your car and come in. I went around 6:30 in the morning and there was no one else there.

The people here are nice but they consistently get our drinks wrong. I have never had them make a drink correctly. And I even got burned when a drive through worker passed me a drink and the lid wasnt on. I had surgery on my abdomen a week before so it wasnt pleasant. I spoke to the manager and she said next time mention her name and let them know my drinks were free. No report was taken nothing. We mentioned her name and they didnt even honor the free drink. We try and avoid this Starbucks but its the closest to our house with a drive through. Im getting real tired of paying $5 for the wrong drink. All the other Starbucks I go to get it right this is literally the only one.

Stayed at a hotel near this location for a few days for a work trip and was blown away by how friendly and accommodating the staff was. Both Craig and Jose were here both days I stopped in, and they were absolutely great. Remembered my order and everything. Its really nice to come across people like that in everyday life. Its rare anymore. :)

WRONG HOURSAnd unprofessional practicesThe service and speed here is pretty good and deserves 5 stars. But the hours are posted wrong on Google which upset myself and 5 other customers that I witnessed in my 10 minute visit there.Most upsetting though was that they refused to take cash (probably counted the register early so they could leave) and i was asked to move from my seat so an employee could clean the floor under me.I would love to leave early from work too but my boss wont let me because the customers have expectations and it doesnt turn into a cash-only takeout restaurant depending on if I want to be there or not. If Starbucks writes to me personally, and explains that they only take cash in between certain hours and that the only reason they operate is to have a clean store, not to have customers or sell coffee, then I will change this to 5 stars.If youd like to read a more positive review, please see any other review Ive ever written.

CHANGE YOUR TIMINGS ON THE WEBSITE!! I come to this place often and sometimes I stay late. I often see people come close to 11 pm only to be disappointed to be told that its closed because they close at 11 pm but the website still says they close at 11:30 pm. I think its not fair for people driving all the way only to find out they cant get their coffee from here because the hours on their stupid website are not updated. Also, I do agree as the other reviewer said that a few staff do not follow instructions well and 50% of the time they get my drink wrong too, but if you are pissed, they are more than happy to redo it for you! A big plus is that the every staff member is extrememly respectful and create a friendly atmosphere to make this a nice place to have coffee and hang out at and so they deserve their 5 stars!

One of my best Starbucks I like to go, the staff there is amazing!. However, the restrooms arent that good, very limited places to sit and theres too much homeless people there and unfortunately they smell. Have nothing against homeless but you can still be clean and not let others customers smell your uncomfortable odors.

Nice place with a good patio.Downside makes it not worth visiting - Starbucks is like a homeless shelter. Even if they bother you Starbucks wont do anything. This seems to be a trend at most LA locations.While Starbucks is easy to find and has a dependable menu if its not drive through or take out avoid them.

This is my home store. I only go there once a week but several of the baristas greet me by name each time and know my drink. I always feel welcome and I realized that I was smiling as I left. A good way to feel before Ive had my morning coffee.

I am one of their closest customers by distance. I live 100 yards from it, literally. Young, good-looking staff so I can get on their level very easily. Drinks are perfectly prepared for me and they are always courteous and professional with their communication. I served 4 years in the US Army Active Duty and from what I see from these troopers on how they operate, I have no doubt in my mind that they are capable and competent enough to be high-speed Commissioned Officers. They should have at least 4.5 if not 5 stars. All of these bogus 1, 2, and 3 star ratings given by non-regulars, just people passing by once; judging that entire café by one visit. Pretty naive of some of them. Ive worked food service for over 7 years since 17 years old and met some pretty uptight people. We all valued our job just like this Starbucks does and take in every consideration to making every guests visit an easy going one. Maybe yall should check yourself and stop taking your frustrations out on innocent workers who are just trying to make a living. I mean, lets face it, are you the one behind counter doing the job?Oh, yeah, by the way! Quit coming in 10-15 minutes before they close. Food service workers hate that, I know that for sure.

Super friendly staff. Very clean every time I go! If you are there in the morning, parking is no trouble. However, because the parking lot is small and is shared with about 5 restaurants in the shopping center, you may have a bit of a difficult time finding a parking. No street parking either.

As a local and a regular I have to say this place hires the friendliest staff! Parking is getting worse with all the restaurants opening up next to it, but its still the best Starbucks in van nuys!To those complaining about the wrong times: google maps is mostly crowd sourced for info. I doubt the people working here even check these comments. Its not that hard to find the real hours and add them above as a suggestion. If enough people make the suggestion (with proof like a picture) google, not Starbucks, changes the hours.

Its Starbucks, of course, so the food is consistent. But, this particular store has the WORST PARKING EVER.1) Turning in from Sherman Way blows. Especially in the afternoon. You can only enter from the Westbound side, AND you must enter from the first driveway. (The second driveway is exit only)And if someone is backing out of their spot, anyone turning in will be delayed, causing a backup of frustrated drivers on Sherman way.2) the parking spots are smaller than normal. In any other lot, they would be labeled compact car only.And the spots labeled with compact? They are really for Smart Cars or Fiats.But today, I got lucky. I went there at 11 am, and the lot was mostly empty. My drink took only a few minutes.My recommendation is to remove 4 spaces, and make all of them wider. That will make getting in and out of the spot faster, and eliminating the backups.

I ordered the usual Venti Americano and the clerk, Dee, asks me if I wanted half water. Its the 1st time, in all of the years that I have been a regular patron of Starbucks, that I am asked how to make the coffee drink. When I asked, are you asking me how to make coffee?, I get the rolling of the eyes and her whispering in Spanish to her co-worker. Little did she know I speak the language and understood what she said. I asked to speak with her manager and she makes all sorts of excuses of what she meant by asking me about the half water; she wanted to make sure I got the right milk. Now, I am further confused because how is asking me about half water related to the type of milk I would want (BTW I had already stated Cream). Maybe the Starbucks at Sherman Way and Sepulveda turns water into milk instead of water into wine. 🤔🤔🤔

I have never been to a worse starbucks than this one. My drink is a little complicated, but being a former employee of starbucks, HOW HARD IS IT TO FOLLOW SOP(standard operating procedure)?! I normally get 3 drinks; trenta: very berry hibiscus with NO water,, Venti: cool lime refresher NO water, and a complicated one. I always have to have mine remade at least once, they cant seem to understand what NO water in all three drinks and also dont seem to understand the difference between a Ristretto and Regular Espresso shot.Please RETRAIN your staff, Magic Johnson: owner of this location!
