Yup! Almost got bit by a pitbull dog here because the owner of the dog thought it was cute to bring her viscious dog into the store!!! People please stop. These dogs are not service animals and have no business around strangers, ESPECIALLY if you cannot restrain them. I was standing behind her in line at a good distance. She walked up to the cashier to order, I then slowly moved up. The dog goes into the attack position and lunges at me. She tries to pull the dog back with very little authority, with him almost pulling her over.. I then asked her if she had control of the dog. She did not reply. I was pissed to say the least. I assumed the girl was out for a walk and had to bring the dog in,, but she left in a vehicle which pissed me off even more.. ot was a nice cool day,, sprinkling outdoors. I am a dog person, I like dogs, but I dont want to be attacked at Starbucks. Keep your non service animals who are not trained to be service animals out of stores. You only minimize the struggle true service animal owners have to go through

Very very kind baristas, I used to work at Starbucks and I missed this kind of environment! Miles was so so sweet and asked me about my family’s vacation plans and where we were headed. Thank you for making our day a little bit brighter! Service was fast and easy and everything was made correctly!

I stopped by this Starbucks for a coffee early in the morning before hitting the freeway. Parking is good with shared lot parking. The employees are attentive and detailed. The store was clean. The only issue is that the bathroom is closed to the public, I’m assuming due to misuse by people looking to use drugs. It would be nice to be able to use the bathroom like in other Starbucks.I would stop here again for a quick coffee and bite to eat.

Just picked my order. The female employee making the coffees was the most unpleasant and her customer service is atrocious. Unfortunately she wasnt wearing her name tag or I would have included it in this review. When I asked for a drink holder, I got the rolled eyes and deep sigh as if I was bothering her. Last I checked as a paying customer, thats your job lady.

Tonya was an awful employee. See my photos. I ordered a Venti drink. I asked her to let me use the restroom because I was coming from a 2 Hour Drive. Tonya declined and was rude and also made my drink wrong. I asked her one second time and disclosed to her that I was handicapped and she did not care. I made her aware that I am a high-level Google Guide as well, asked her to please think about letting me use the restroom because I will talk about this visit on Google maps, and here I am. Shame on this young unhappy female. No joy or pride being part of Starbucks. I had given this store five stars the first time I reviewed. Because of Tonya’s behavior and bat service I have taken away 3 stars now.

This is the second Starbucks that I find out that they dont have public restroom. They said its okay because they dont have chairs and tables even though once you buy something you become a customer. Horrible customer service I feel after Covid employers have had to settle just to have someone working this goes for many places not just Starbucks but its unfortunate. Ive attempted to bring up my concerns to management to no avail. God forbid you ask anyone here for some extra creamer or sugar they will look dead at you like you just insulted them and how dare you bother them at work. Anyway its hit and miss good luck avoid the young guy with long hair working on 8/28/23 morning shift and the girl on the same shift this is team horrible ...both should be asked if this is what they really want to do clearly they dont want to be there.

This is my favorite Starbucks in Santa Monica area. No drive-thru but customer service makes up for it 100%. There is a drive thru Starbucks a few blocks south on Lincoln but it always packed with cars lined up on Lincoln so if you dont come from the north you have to drive past it and line up on the street blocking traffic. Very awkward. Also, Ive never gotten good customer service there. No smiles, no small talk. I would not say theyre rude just curt and disinterested in you as a human. The Pico Starbucks on Lincoln is the opposite. Friendly and professional every time. Great team!

I stopped by for a coffee on my way to the airport. I was on the way to Japan on business [This all happened pre-covid.] and was going to be there for 2.5 weeks.As I was waiting in line a woman, (I would have thought she was a manager, but was so unprofessional, she belongs elsewhere) came up to me and said You know you cant bring that suitcase in here, and I dont have time to babysit you right now.I explained that I had no idea what she was talking about, but that she was so incredibly rude that I would never go to a Starbucks again. AndI have walked in with a good friend who loves Starbucks. I have never spent another dime in Starbucks.I am a much better coffee aficionado now. I often go to local neighborhood places when Im out of town, and people are so kind and non-corporate. Instead of people telling me that they dont have time to babysit, they ask where Im going, sometimes offering suggestions on restaurants, non-Starbucks coffee places, etc.

Baristas here are very friendly. Great place to get some light work done but only one big table where they have access to an outlet. The rest of the seats arent convenient for any type of work. My cold brew here is pretty consistent. Downsides are no outlets and the bathroom requires a code that they frequently change.

Ordered a vanilla sweet creme cold brew and something is definitely not right. The drink has either a slightly burned aftertaste or the creme is expired, which is odd because it was supposed to be brewed cold and there are only two ingredients. I am tempted to dump it because my stomach is already feeling slightly upset. Dang, I really needed a coffee today. These guys are normally on point and Vons doesnt have cold brew until 9 am, so they are lucky I am giving them 2 stars still.

I like how this place is centered to get to downtown SM, the beach and an easy quick jump to 10 east fwy. Uncomfortable stools, I need a chair that supports the back. The negative thing I can say is that theres a lot of campers (most of the time)and you cant sit down anywhere when these guys are present.

Very small Starbucks on the side of the street. Parking can be tough in the busy time. But the service is really nice. Its close to the beach hotels so if you want to come here for a quick breakfast before going to the beach it is a nice choice.

I decided to call the Starbucks because of the reviews that I saw through google. I asked if I was able to use the restroom if I made a purchase and they refused by saying that the restroom is closed at 8 p.m. . Ask for general manager . They said that there was no one on duty that I can speak to I would have to call back tomorrow or come in. my friend had to stop by and bought a Frappuccino its $6 drink and they refuse to let him use the restroom.

Its a nice spot, small but it has all the compnents that starbucks has, but its not a place where you can hang in when you want to meet someone for a meeting, because there is a security on the parking lot timing your 1 hour limit. Its very small and the setting of the furnitures are extremely akward and inconvenient, it seems like it was not meant to be liked by humans. This place is near small businesses and a High School, considering where it is, it doesnt make sense it doesnt reflect the type of environment and type of people. It would not be where a High Scool student would want to hang with their friends. Service at this place is a hit and miss, they do forget orders, specially when you are the only person in the store for a good 15 minutes....and also when there is a line, you are the last person and had been waiting for 10 minutes, and they decide you are the one to wait a bit more until they finish all the drinks until they take your order. They will forget you are there, and would forget your order and that you ordered. And the order would be wrong and incomplete. Its a total hot mess.

I was a barista here.1. The store closes at 9pm everynight. This is because our business is mostly the high school. We are not busy enough at night to stay open later.2. We close our bathroom 20-30 minutes before close. This is because we have a problem with people hiding out in the bathroom and we also have a time period in which we clean it.3. The refil policy only applies to iced coffees, hot coffees, iced teas and hot teas. Also if you leave the store it is no longer a refill and it is only within two hours of your purchase.4. We only give out grande iced waters as we run out of the venti ice cups quickly. You have to buy something in order to get a venti.5. We dont have decaf coffee here. Nobody orders it. The only way to get it is with the pour over. Which can take at least 5 minutes but if they are busy then you will be waiting longer.6. We dont have sugarfree mocha. If you order it through mobile they will either make it normal or wait for you to get there. I suggest just ordering less of the mocha.

This used to be a great location but the make-up this Starbucks has really changed. They have had to change the inside to hard seats, and tall benches, clearly meant to keep people from staying for prolonged periods of time. The answer is the overwhelming homeless population that has laid seige to the Starbucks for the free bathroom, and food given to them by patrons. It is a really needed Starbucks on Lincoln but unfortunately has succumbed to being the local homeless hangout for free water, panhandled food and bathrooms.
