Starbucks, Westfield UTC. Date of service around 5:30 pm on 03/09/2024. Please train your employees on the drink recipes. I ordered chai tea latte but got coffee latte instead. Asked for the replacement and got coffee latte again. They tried to convince me that this is a chai latte but very strong. But it was a coffee, guys! I am sorry, it was a coffee! Then they figured out it shouldn’t be a tea drink and give me a fruit tea. Just wonderful! I had no problem ordering chai tea latte from this place a few months ago or from other Starbucks spots. Please educate your baristas!

When I visited this place on Friday the 15th of June for a cup of coffee ; the first thing I noticed was the prompt service and amiable atmosphere during the morning hours between 6:15 and 7:23am. I had never tried their wi-fi before and so I decided to check it out on my browser, and to my surprise I noted that the app. sign-in was good and could be utilized at multiple locations. I have not tried it in countries outside of the United States or at other Starbucks locations therein yet but I am hoping the the app is global. Anyway while I was there conversations were going around me concerning current events. I thought this was great because it involved real people in real time. It felt like a briefing on various current events such as the Korean summit held in Singapore to FIFA soccer tournaments.

Be careful when ordering from this location. The baristas may lack training to spot damaged cups that can lead to you unexpectedly wearing your drink as you reach for your cup and it collapses...

I experienced the most obvious microaggression Ive ever experienced from the barista behind the cash register yesterday. Before I even got my card out to buy my drink, the cashier said, As soon as your card clears, Ill be happy to start your order over here. He did not say this to anyone else in line, and it was not lost on me that I was the only one in the shop that looked like me. Im not sure if that was supposed to be classism or racism but I didnt order it, and it tasted very bad with my coffee.

This Starbucks is too small to hold more than a few customers comfortably. If you need coffee, order ahead on the app for pickup. You dont want to get stuck in here

Counter person was rude, off-putting and her attitude was surprising. I was very polite and she was impatient and not helpful. I really wanted to ask for a manager but that is just not me. Im sure she must of just had a bad day.

This location is always friendly and hard working. Really appreciate the staff I always order at this location never been disappointed. Even though I see they are low staffed at times the drinks always come out great. Mobile orders or in store orders are great. I know going to this starbucks will start my day well

This is my favorite & the best Starbucks location ever! All the employees here are so friendly & welcoming! Ive been coming to this location for so long now, that all the employees know me by name & have my drink/order memorized! I especially love how I walk in & all the employees greet me with a smile & ask me how Im doing & ask if Im having my usual today! They make me feel like Im special & not just some other customer... It seriously makes my whole day! And they always make my customized drink right every time! I usually have that problem at other locations but never this one. And at times when I get there like 1 min to closing time, they never complain about having to make my order, & always seem happy to help me with anything I need. I always leave feeling great because the employees are so nice & treat me (and everyone else too) with kindness & respect! Thanks so much u guys! 😊

Stopped in for a Pumpkin Spice Latte this morning..the drink was great by the way, much thanks to the barista. But the lady with glasses taking our order was rude and we were the only 2 people in there and it was probably about 630 am, obviously she wasnt on her shift that long, so I dont get it. ..do you just not like your job?!?!?

I had a 2 hour layover, so thought I would spend it at Starbucks and doing some work. Typical starbucks, coffee was fine. Inside was lovely but they had no seating. Out there was good seating but it was a little chilly. All was fine and okay except they have no bathroom! So after drinking a few refills, out in the cold... 🤢

I just left this location. What a rude young lady! Lovely (med) complexion girl with her hair up in curls. I asked her for hot sauce to go with my egg bites and she said “they were out!” I then said “are you sure because the gentleman that helped me said he would add to my order?” She walked back to a cubby and low and behold she finds a huge box of them. She throws 3 of them on the counter at me like they were trash. I said “thank you” nicely. She didn’t look at me and with great sarcasm said “HAVE A GREAT DAY!” I immediately told her “ “you know young lady, you really should be more polite!” Walked out. If she can’t deal with a job at Starbucks how can she deal with life?? Good look girly. You make Starbucks and your team look bad!!! Really bad. #starbucks

I rated this location 1 star because of the bad customer service I recieved by a barista (Ana, she may have lied about her name-blond rude girl) two nights ago. She wouldnt stop to answer a question about a drink she prepared for us and was very snarky. The place was not that busy. I bought a drink for myself and a family member with allergies. When I asked a question about the drink she prepared I was told to, read the label like that would help. Finally, another male worker stepped in and kindly assisted us. I will not be returning there ever. Luckily the drink was ok for my family member otherwise there would have been hell to pay. Please take this into consideration when visiting this location if you have special dietary needs. Unfortunely this location is missing the welcoming atmosphere Starbucks is known for.

This place is hit or miss the staff is great butttttttttt I think the entire month I was here my coffee was right maybe twice.I hate chocolate and I ordered the caramel ribbon crunch but I recieved this nasty chocolate chip stuff I didnt complain I just took my order and went on about my business.Then I think I only recieved they crunch topping on my caramel ribbon once maybe twice.

They don’t even deserve the one star. My drink was wrong and the barista clearly was better than everyone else was mad because he had to remake it. I told the gal when I order exactly the way I wanted it nothing crazy just nonfat milk. But I guess it was my fault cuz he slammed my drink on the counter almost staining my clothes and burning my arm because my hot drink flew out of the top of the cup. He didn’t apologize when I mentioned it to him he just looked with a snooty face and said nothing. When I asked him for his name he covered up his naetag and gave me a name of a former employee. And my drink sucked. This is a busy Starbucks at a busy mall. I would reconsider who you staff here

Typical Starbucks coffee shop. I was hungry and thirsty and I usually try to bring my semi-off centered humor along just to break the ice. When you enter a Starbucks the routine is cookie cutter predictable. I, on the other hand, like to mix it up with a little friendly dialog to loosen things up and add some spontaneity. The cashier almost caught on and went with the casual flow, but hesitated. Too bad. The rest of the staff wanted no part of anything I mentioned. Nothing too off PC and no offending the norms of the present day. Its a shame that people cant take a step back and relax for 1 minute and enjoy just a little non-judgemental humor, and flow with it.Next time Im hungy and thirsty and feel like dropping $10.80 Ill look elsewhere in UTC. Ive lived in LJ for a VERY long time and being happy and good humored, though off-centered has served me well and many people like it!

Every time I go to University Town center in la Jolla I go straight for the Starbucks sorry you like your dragon fruit drink it tastes really good and I also buy me a sandwich or brownie I go use the outside of the porch and right there or eat inside

I ordered via the mobile app and they still managed to get the order wrong, which is pretty impressive. I get orders lost in translation when speaking it, but not when Ive carefully selected options in the app and the order is printed neatly on a label for the cup.

Starbucks is Starbucks. Sucks consistent with all other locations. Friendly and helpful baristas and plenty of them. This listing is very busy and quite small. If you are going during peak times for coffee, almost always, then prepare to be packed in tight while waiting for your coffee. There are no tables inside only outside or in the food court. There are other coffeeshops in the mall, Elixir and Nordstrom.

I was very disappointed in this starbucks i only had a $100 bill. I was dressed for construction work. And it seemed like the girl was discriminating against me. I ususlly never complain but when the girl looked me up and down i could see in her eyes full of contempt and then it was confirmed when she so happily said we dont take $100 dollar bills. All the years and all the starbucks dropping $10-20 each time. Using 100 dollar bills i can say for sure she just did not want to serve me. I guess i looked like the type of person who doesnt have money. Anyways i was so insulted that i will probably not go to starbucks again for the next year or 2. I usually goto starbucks 2-3 times a week and get a latte and a panini, oh well. There loss al because a young lady was incapable of expressing appropriate emotion

Typical Starbucks.Good ambience,good service,and overpriced coffee.Plenty of indoor seating.As in all starbucks free wi-fi.Thus Starbucks seems to have a particularly friendly staff who keep the place immaculately clean.Service is fast and the place is never to crowded to find a place to sit comfortably.
