I placed an order for the Pumpkin Spice Latte using the mobile app and then collected it in-store. The beverage features a blend of espresso and steamed milk infused with the delightful flavors of pumpkin, cinnamon, nutmeg, and clove. Its finished with a dollop of whipped cream and authentic pumpkin pie spices. To my pleasant surprise, it tasted quite enjoyable for my first venture into pumpkin spice drinks!As an added bonus, I also bought a bag of Caffe Verona coffee beans. I appreciated the attentive staff who inquired whether I needed the beans ground or not.

Team here made custom drinks for me 3/14 10 minutes to close. I gave the cashier an opportunity to gracefully refuse but she still accepted my request and went above and beyond with customer service 🥰. Also just FYI, if you want to come to the store late, they dont take orders over the phone and the mobile app for pickup orders shuts off 30 minutes to close.

Came in this morning at 5:05 a.m. on April 13th and ordered a single coffee. The lady stocking greeted me instantly. She was nice but the black lady that came out of the back to complete the order was so rude. She looked at me as if I did something to her but hey guess shes not happy working there.

I work for urgent care city health and my coworkers and I live off caffeine, the staff is always nice and welcoming, I had the pleasure of meeting a great barista by the name of Noel and he made me one of the greatest drinks Ive had from Starbucks so far its like a wonderful caramel cake sunshine tasting dessert iced coffee, he has great customer service and is very knowledgeable, he will be the reason I enter Starbucks regularly but overall all the staff strives to leave exceptional impressions for return guests and they win ❤ also no bathrooms open to the public during covid, this is a general rule everywhere and 100% acceptable and understandable

Easily one of my top 20 Starbucks in Alameda county. I am counting down the days to pumpkined spice latte season, Trish always hooks me up with my usual! Its called the Crissy: 6 shots of espresso, 2 pump hazelnut, 3 pump pepper mint, 1 pump vanilla, chocolate, whipped cream and oat milk. Try it out youll love it or my name isnt Crissy Genevieve Tomlinson!

Good coffee shop in Oakland area. Compared to other Starbucks in Oakland, this is better. Staffs keep changing and friendly.Service is quick on non rush hours. Otherwise takes a lot of time. Especially when offers are going on queue will be too much and I usually avoid those days and compromise with Petes coffee. Better to avoid when its too rush. The building is too small and will be really crowded.Sounding area is good lively, but have to be careful outside when its dark. Its not just this building anywhere around Oakland downtown is scary when its dark.

Went in this morning to purchase a $25.00 gift card, 2 cookies and a venti coffee. However, the young lady couldnt find out how to scan the gift card after many tries.This store probably is loosing money, due to certain employees not learning to properly scan gift cards for purchases. What could have been a $40.00 dollar order ended up being a $6.00 order.So now I have to find a competent Starbucks to purchase the rest of my order! Hmmmm!!! Fix this Clay Street!

Very nice Starbucks, the service is always wonderful 😊 but occasionally Ive gotten service that was not so good, I dont think its fair for me to wait in line and then pay for my order and then the clerk continues to help and serve people that was behind me, essentially Im being told to pay for my order and then go back to the end of the line, they never prepared my order a order i paid for but never got! theres got to be a better way! to take care of customers!

It’s Starbucks. I usually prefer independent local coffee places, but for those who like Starbucks it’s exactly what you’d expect. The staff are friendly despite difficult circumstances. This location is boarded up and they aren’t letting people inside, but taking orders by the entrance. They’re selling the full range of stuff. People are masked outside waiting. They have a little glass dish in which they take your phone to pay if you’re using an app. The location is convenient in downtown Oakland by a bunch of office buildings. The clientele seems to be a mix of city workers, construction workers, business people, and random people who live nearby. There’s bike parking around. They’re really not fast, so I’d recommend ordering ahead if you’re able.

Disclaimer: I really dont like Starbucks very much. Its pretty much the McDonalds of coffee chains, and that is probably an insult to McDonalds. Really I think the only reason people go there is for wifi or one of their flavored concoctions so they can knock themselves out with all the sugar and additives while getting a caffeine kick. However when I order an Americano I do at least expect to not get something that tastes exactly like the cup of super cheap drip coffee I occasionally get with my McDonalds order. I dont know if the barista made a genuine mistake or made me the wrong coffee for kicks or maybe I just dont know what good coffee tastes like, but I think Ill stick with the Peets around the corner (which also has much better customer service)

This place used to be good when it had a different store manager. It takes forever to get your food order now. They don’t bring the heated items to the customers until they have a few to bring over all at once, so the ones that are ready sit there.....and the customer waits....waits. Also, the employees aren’t as friendly and there is a lot more chatter among them instead of focusing on what needs to get done, while customers pile up....waiting.

This is one of the busiest Starbucks around. The employees are fast---but not enough for the stream of workers nearby. Wait here is longer than most Starbucks-at times as long as 20 minutes. The drinks--they are almost always spot on in flavor. The baristas dont get that wrong often. Starbucks likes to call itself the worlds largest co-working space. If you are looking for that here--you are NOT going to find it. There is rarely a empty table. Forget popping by to work on something with friends or colleagues. You have to wait or get lucky.

Ordered two travelers at this location on the app. Walked five blocks to get there, only for them to tell me they didn’t have the boxes. They then told me to just go to another store, and tell them they ran out of boxes. I asked them to call another store on my behalf, and they said ‘we’re too busy.’ No refund, just sent me on my way. Thankfully the store on 8th were rock stars and accommodated me!!

Mobile ordering broke and they still havent fixed it. The line to pick up drinks is always long, even if the line for actually ordering them isnt. Expect to wait 10+ min. EDIT: UNACCEPTABLE MOBILE ORDER WAIT TIMES. TAKES 15+ MINUTES FOR THE ORDER TO BE PREPARED.

Located at 12th Street City Center, this Starbucks is usually packed but a great place for a quick pick me up. The lines generally move. I stop here often when visiting 12th Street City Center. You should go get coffee and snacks.

My office is a block away from this Starbucks. I go here almost every morning. this morning I ordered my drink and gave her the name Jessy when my drink got called the name on the drink said Jessica so I asked the girl calling out the drinks if this was mine or was one coming for jessy. She said the girl must have heard my name wrong the next Carmel frap was for shannan with an add shot. (shannan is a guy thats standing a few feet away from me) he pushes me into the counter and proceeds to try and take my drink from my hand while saying thats my drink they called shannan even after i showed him the name of the drink he still had me pinned to the counter. i looked at the worker how looked shocked but said nothing. ( all she had to say was shannan your drink is coming up next). i pushed him out of my way and walked out of starbucks mad.

This places serves the busy city hall area that also has a state and federal building. Youll see long lines but they move pretty fast and the people do remember you when youve been there a million times.
