This location needs a new manager! 5 staff were present and no one bothered to take orders at the counter. Ordered one drink and it was prepared wrong.Trash can overflowing, trash on the floor and either mud or other matter on floor.

Ordered a venti for a reason. Came back with this. A quarter of the drink is missing this is pretty much a grande. For $6 this is completely unacceptable and if it didnt already close Id take this back and have them refill at least or full refund.

I have been coming to this location for about five years suddenly I am being charged for extra creamer . This has happened to me the past four times that I have gone to this Starbucks on Christmas tree Lane, but it wasn’t until today that I ran into the manager Ashley who said she was going to have to charge me for a grande drink because I asked to have my tall drink, put into a grande cup so that I would have room for extra creamer I love extra creamer and this Starbucks seems to go light on creamer She insisted that that’s the way they charge and if I needed more than 4 ounces of milk that she would have to charge me so she’s counting the 2 ounces that already come in the drink ( tall hot Oliato) I let her know I was only asking for 2 ounces extra the conversation alone was so upsetting to me. I left shaky and upset. she basically told me I am the manager you will do as I say your NOT getting extra creamer ! Again I’ve been coming here for six years I’ve been super patient through their holiday lines and mistakes that they continuously make with the drinks, sometimes they’re made wrong sometimes they’re cold when they should be hot and other times they’re not even full ! When I ask for light ice, they put extra heavy ice. It’s almost like it’s being done on purpose. I have continuously given them my business, although they have fell short numerous times without asking for a remake or refund . I once had the girl make me a hot drink, and it came out as an ice drink, and I didn’t even have her remake it. I drink it iced. To be treated like this as a continuous customer was so hurtful I Come here because there is no other Starbucks that has a drive-through ! On the positive side. The Starbucks inside Vons is very welcoming very friendly and they always make my drink to order without giving me a hassle. I’m very upset and feel that I was singled out and it is personal for Ashley towards me because I am a local and they’re insulted when I complain . I did however, call corporate and make a complaint. They were shocked by what they heard and gave me a $10 gift card which I really appreciate. I just want to take this time to apologize to any of Ashley‘s coworkers that work under her because I see that they were going by the direction of their manager . I have seen this facility give out full orders that were wrong to the customer because the drinks were just gonna go in the trash and they’re giving me grief about 2 to 3 ounces of creamer . Shame

This place was horrible. The food was ok but the service, a different story. We waited almost 3 hours for a couple drinks and about 2 food items. Originally the wait was 20 minutes, but we waiter 3 HOURS. The service was horrible, the lady was just on her iPad telling people that It will be another 30 minutes instead of making the drinks. Also, a girl came in went to the cash register and waited about 3 minutes and she got more things then we did. NEVER GO HERE.

Went to get birthday drink. As of March 6th its mobile order for pick up or drive thru only. We were hoping to sit by fireplace outside but they said they couldnt turn it on. The heaters outside did work so we hung outside for a short while. Chairs were still frozen so hard to really enjoy there. We ended up driving to a nearby park. Inside theres no seating as area is sectioned off & no bathroom access. Staff was friendly & drinks were great. Plenty of parking in large shopping mall lot. Walking up to it, the mall is cute & ski mountain is in backdrop of this SB. Will be nice to visit when fireplace is ok to use. There is another SB inside of the grocery store on other end of mall, but using a reward & was hoping to enjoy patio seating so opted for this one. Maybe ck their IG for updates.

This place always closes earlier than they are supposed to. It’s 5:40pm now and they locked up. Supposed to be open until 6pm. Also, they are always out of the majority of food items. It’s gotten to a point now in society where a Starbucks can’t even function properly. I wonder if the owners know that they routinely close early?

I drove over 30 minutes to get here because I was craving Starbucks, only to find that they closed 6.5 hours before their closing time. A hand written sign was on the door stating “we closed at 1:30pm”. I am extremely dissatisfied at the poor service and the fact that someone from the business decided it was okay to not keep the store open for business hours.

I have never experienced such sour people working at a Starbucks before. My wife said that shes pretty sure everyone working here hates there job service with a get off my mountain attitude. Furthermore... both of our drinks were terrible and not what we ordered or the way we ordered. If we hadnt had to wait 25min for them we would have complained but it wasnt worth the effort. Most impressed with how one employee spilt a drink making a mess all over the area where the pick up is and all the other employees looked like NOT my problem then when someone finally cleaned it, they did the most lack-luster job with minimal effort Ive ever seen. This particular Starbucks bad a gorgeous view of the ski slopes across the way. Definitely something to behold while you wait in the half hour typical Starbucks drive thru line. After getting to the ordering screen, the person on the other end began taking our order. Halfway through our order she checks on availability of an item we requested. A few minutes later someone else radios in and is like, Hi can I take your order?. Seriously? We explain that we were already mid-order and is like, oh yeah! I see that.We complete our order and lumber along shifting between Park and Drive in the car until we get to the window. We pay, get our drinks and move along. We all (theres 4 of us in the car) begin taking sips of our drinks and theyre 3 out of 4 are spot on. That fourth drink though, its basically hot milk. Like, wheres the flavor?

I understand that many Starbucks locations are busy, but that doesnt mean you can give people less coffee than what they pay for, just so you can slam the orders out faster. I went in to have my Starbucks coffee ground.I waited a very long time in line with no one at the counter. Only 3 people are working, perhaps. Not one person welcomed us or told us theyd be right with us. A gentleman in line needed to use the restroom. He didnt know the code, so I asked. The reply was given with a tone that conveyed annoyance.It just happens that the code is on the door. He only saw the lock pad.When I finally got to the counter, the person serving seemed new. She asked me some odd questions about my coffee purchase dates, etc. She had to ask someone else if she could.Ok, it was my bad for not knowing that you could only have them ground if Un opened.My grinder broke. I didnt want to wait for a new one to come.I only found out after I spoke to a former employee.They still ground them. Not protocol. Thankful however.The ratings are based on the service and atmosphere. I wouldnt have bought anything after that poor service anyways.

I ended up waiting 24 minutes for my drink, there were only 5 customers in the lobby and I was 3rd in line. The shift in charge was more concerned about conversing with her coworkers, and then closed the lobby because they were too busy as a 13 year Partner I will say it wasnt busy enough to justify closing the lobby, and if the Shift had coached her team and supported them like a leader should they could have created a much better experience

I wanted to like this location. My coffee was made well. They have a nice lounge area with a fireplace. I did get the impression that their employees did not like children. The problems arose when we went back for our free refill. They denied us, despite going against Starbucks corporate policy. The manager got involved and was very rude. I dont care that you are an 18-year veteran of Starbucks... You were rude and wrong.

I decided to stop by on my way out of town. Didnt feel like parking in the drive thru so went inside. It was busy! Large line and a dozen or so staff members working in a flurry. As far as inside goes its a typical Starbucks. The A/C intake duct was growing fur and is overdue for cleaning as well as the coffee equipment. As chaotic and standing room only they get drinks out quickly!

Manager doesnt know corporate policy and believes working for the company for 18 years makes her an expert. Ive been to a lot of Starbucks and none can ever get so busy all at once like in Big Bear. Its cold in winter so people want more warm drinks. The staff at Starbucks bog bear deal with the nastiest and coldest customers in California maybe. Some weeks it doesnt slow down. Busy days here and there elsewhere but here it goes for weeks. No slow periods just the next customer. Fortunately it does. Still always very great service and great attitudes.

They took my order wrong so i asked for a correct one (iced coffee w/ heavy cream) the barista took my cup and rinse it in the sink right in front me, barista didn’t put the cap right and slipped out my hands and it spilled, so she took my cup and added more coffee and gave it back to me and said “Now it won’t be heavy” if I can give this place a 0star I would. Went to this Starbucks location a few days ago while visiting Big Bear. I have to say, I was very impressed by the efficient and kind service from one of the baristas, Korina. Since I have some dietary restrictions, it can be difficult for me to order at drive-thru establishments. However, thanks to Korinas advice and patience, I was able to order without feeling like a burden. I really appreciate the excellent service since working in the service industry for years; Workers like her make my day!

I really liked Starbucks but on the day I had the bad luck to visit the one at this address, there is very bad attention in the dirty place, I bought 7 coffees really I just threw away my money one gave me almost only ice, and the frappuccinos they gave them to me half, I asked for a holder that they didnt have, I asked for oat milk and they didnt have it either, I asked for cinnamon they didnt put it. We were told that our ordering options were very limited because this branch has very little water pressure and it takes them 25 minutes to make one coffee drink. This is not the fault of the employee who was trying her best to serve customers. We were able to order lattes (the only type of drink available), but there is always some problem at Starbucks now. Brand is deteriorating.

Called and spoke with Manager (on duty at 2/14/23 3:26pm) Asked for a copy of a receipt from a week ago. Said to come in and he can give me one. Seeing that we live 4 hours away from the resort town, that wasn’t an option. I asked if he could send a copy via email or text or any option….he said “no, we don’t do that”. So I asked to confirm “so the only way I can get a copy of the receipt is to come to the store, and you print a hard copy”? Manager responded “yes”…“but you can’t send me a copy of that”? The staff is extremely friendly and kind and very rarely, if ever, get your order wrong. As far as the food and drinks here, they are the normal Starbucks items. Theyre not better, theyre not worse. One good thing is that because they are inside the Vons, when they run out of ingredients, they just go into the store and get more.

Terrible service. Our cashier Karina was rude and impatient. She tried to scare some customers away by claiming orders would take 40min or longer but our drinks, and everyone elses who stayed, only took 5min. She was condescending when we asked her questions and unwilling to make basic modifications to our drinks. Atmosphere suffers because of that convenience, but who cares?The drinks were tasty.We asked for 4 steamers for children, and I made a point to ask them to keep it on the warm side, not hot, but they came out too hot and couldnt be sipped the entire 20 minutes we lounged there. They ended up being tossed out, to the childrens dismay, and to my wallets regret... but temperatures can be tough to get just right.

As an ex partner, theres something off. No one seems to be happy working here, and no one moves with much life. They had a hiring event yesterday, so maybe people area bit overworked. This is the main standalone SBX in the area, so theres a lot asked of this store. Overall, Im pleased with my experience. The drinks were fine and the store was clean. I just wish there was some life here.

Very abrupt and rude at the counter. Don’t believe the store sign that says their purpose is kindness. Girl at the counter was rude and told us she had been there for 3 years. We have been there at least 10 times in the last several years and the service is always rude. There was one guy at the pickup area that was nice. By far the worst service I’ve had at a Starbucks store. I got excited to see only one person in front of me in line. Then I realized that there was a lobby full of people waiting for their drinks…about 20. A lady finally asked for a refund. 20 minutes waiting and I still didn’t have my drinks. This starbucks had nothing I wanted. NO HOLIDAY drinks is what I was told. No breakfast sandwiches, no banana bread. Ask for 2 packets of brown sugar for my oatmeal. They gave me one and no spoon. We were in line for 20 minutes in the drive thru, then the manager comes out up to our window without a mask and tells us he’s closing at 3pm today instead of 9pm and cuts the line off in front of us! Honestly really disappointed I placed a mobile order and it said it was ready to be picked up. I waited almost 20 minutes for my drinks because the employees were only interested in the conversation that they were having instead of doing their job. I did get a good look at the guys name, it was Kevin and he was talking with a redheaded co-worker. We placed an order at this Starbucks at 9:11am. We did not receive our drinks until 9:47am. Come to find out their machine that printed tickets for drink orders was down (except for the drive thru and mobile orders). Once they identified the problem about 20 minutes after we placed our order they began writing drink orders down on the cups. Some how they missed our drink orders - we noticed that 8 people who ordered their drinks after us (manually written drink tickets) received their drinks after us. After being extremely patient we inquired a second time on our drink orders and they could not find our order and that they may still be writing our order on the cups. At this point, we were upset with the fact that several patrons who ordered after us had received their drinks. Which made it worse is that when we told them we had been waiting over 30 minutes for drinks and asked them to give us our drinks it seemed as if it was such a bothersome task. I understand other patrons were waiting for their drinks too, but it was frustrating that our drinks were completely skipped and forgotten until we had to demand our order.

Wow where to begin with the Starbucks in Big Bear off Big Bear Blvd. First they are the slowest moving Starbucks I have ever been to. Yes they are usually busy but busy or not why would the drive through lane hardly move at all? They are always out of food, and not just one item. They are the only Starbucks I see still closing early 6 months after the pandemic began. Yesterday I went to use the drive through at 4:50pm and there was a sign blocking the drive through saying we closed at 5pm! It’s bad enough you actually close at 5pm, but you are the only Starbucks I’ve experienced who stops making drinks leading up to when you close. Starbucks is losing so much revenue with the inventory at this location always being out, and closing down early every night. If Starbucks cared about their organization they would do a complete overhaul of the Starbucks in Big Bear. I think maybe it’s best to start supporting a local coffee shop here in town.

There was no foam or chocolate sauce on top, and when I told them it was wrong, they just squirted double the chocolate sauce in my drink (which is not what I asked for) and said it’s just sinking to the bottom.Of course it’s sinking to the bottom, you made the wrong drink and there isn’t any foam to hold the sauce.Never had a more frustrating Starbucks experience. If the drink is on the menu and you’re a Starbucks employee, you should know how to make it.

Constantly running out of ingredients, unfriendly staff. Not allowing people to order vinte or grande and don’t have a sign telling people stating so everyone is waiting in line for an hour plus only to find out they can’t order what they want. Poorly managed, disconnected phone line when tried calling to let them know of the issue. Drinks are poorly prepared. Worst Starbucks I’ve ever been to.

This shop can be a challenge to deal with because of the crushing waves of weekend visitors. Particularly after the other shop was closed. It’s small and can be crowded. But the staff is still friendly and helpful. It’s best if you can use the app and the drive thru.

I am a Starbucks fanatic & have been to soOoOoo many different locations but, this location is a HUGE disappointment & nightmare to say the least! You can only do drive thru & ONLY mobile orders inside. No orders to go AT ALL! I went inside to ask questions since I can only place mobile order the lady could not answer ANY SIMPLE QUESTIONS AT ALL! IN FACT, A CUSTOMER OUTSIDE KNEW MORE THEN HER& WAS POLITE TOO! The appearance was horrible inside & dirty so I am not sure if this had anything to do with no cash register or order to go availability or not... I did end up going through drive thru & ANOTHER EMPLOYEE TASH DID HELP ME & MADE IT ALL A BIT BETTER! Buyer Beware, especially if you have allergies!I watched one barista ask one of the other baristas if the only cup, on the work counter, had soy milk in it, she then proceeded to fill it up with more soy milk and when done with the cup, did a quick rinse with water (still visible soy milk in cup) and then started working on another order with almond milk. I then watched her clean 2 more cups the same way.This particular Starbucks has to be the most unorganized Ive ever had the displeasure of seeing. The baristas workplace is a total mess. The floor needed a sweep. The bathroom needed attention. I watched one of the employees emptying the trash and then go back to work without washing hands.Side note: took over 10 minutes to receive one drink with no one else in line inside the store.

I did the mobile order at this place and it estimated a time of 10 minutes. Needless to say it took 30 minutes to get the order and even then I got a dirty look for repeatedly asking for my order.This was on a Saturday early evening with a line he size of Disneyland so I get that they were super busy. But if the ETA says one thing and something else happens at least apologize for the inconvenience. I got none of it.

I waited an hour in line to buy coffee. I forgot to get one drink and I told Kellie and she said to get back in line so I got back in line and waited another hour to get one more drink. Due to me waiting back in line the coffee I brought was cold. Thank you Kellie for not satisfying your costumers. It’s so sad because I’m a local here in Big Bear.

Suprisingly, this is the only Starbucks location in town. When there is a starbucks on everyother corner in Every other town and city, this is strange having only one in this place. Its a hella ways away from the village, and not close to the ski slopes either.. Perhaps they should add another couple locations here..

Very crowded, slow Starbucks. While there are really only so many options in town for Starbucks, I had to wait out it. It took about 20-30 minutes to arrive, order and have my coffee and breakfast sandwich while inside of the store. They were working incredibly hard at trying to keep up, but when the slopes are opening and you are still in line, thats no fun.

Most friendly place, and we visited 3 or 4 along the main road, in Big Bear. Stopped there for snacks and coffee before biking out further. If youre biking, come here directly, dont bother with the other places as youll likely face high wait times or, more directly, be turned away.

Google hours say closes at 9pm, its 7:58pm, and closed. All the lights outdoors and in the drive-u are on, but off once at the order window its dark. So disappointing, its SATURDAY NIGHT!
