Ive been a regular customer at Starbucks La Jolla for over 1 1/2 years now, and I can honestly say that its one of the best Starbucks Ive ever been to. The service is excellent, the staff is friendly and always makes it a point to get to know your name, and the place is super clean and well-kept.I live about 35 minutes away from Starbucks La Jolla, but I make the drive every Saturday morning with my wife. We love the atmosphere at the store, and we always feel like were getting a warm welcome when we walk in. The baristas are always friendly and helpful, and they always remember our orders.The food at Starbucks La Jolla is also great. Ive tried a few of the breakfast sandwiches, and theyve all been delicious. The pastries are also fresh and delicious, and the coffee is always brewed to perfection.I highly recommend Starbucks La Jolla to anyone looking for a great cup of coffee and a friendly atmosphere. Im so glad that I make the drive every weekend!Here are some additional things I love about Starbucks La Jolla:The store is located in a great spot, right in the heart of La Jolla / Bird Rcok - The app calls it La Jolla & Forward so when you place your order you do it to the right Stabuck.Theres plenty of seating inside and outside, so you can find a spot to relax and enjoy your coffee.The store is dog-friendly, so you can bring your furry friend along for the ride, some times there is a nice group, if yoou get there early enough that hands treats for you furry friends.Overall, I think Starbucks La Jolla is a great place to go for a cup of coffee or a quick bite to eat. The staff is friendly, the atmosphere is inviting, and the food is delicious. I highly recommend it!

Amazing customer service and coffee served with a big smile. Went in with a small group of friends to get some coffee after a terrible experience at Bird Rock Roasters down the street. These guys were so friendly and kind and the coffee was great. We even had a spillage of a cappuccino and they happily replaced the drink free of charge. Would definitely recommend stopping by for a drink!

Service was friendly and quick. Outdoor seating was lovely. Inside the plugins were loose making it difficult to charge my phone but managed to get it charged after tightening the socket frame.

Definitely an amazing place. You can’t get the same atmosphere in every Starbucks but this one is just great! We have just stopped on our way to San Diego to grab a coffee but we spent almost two hours over there. They also serve delicious food and cookies.

Same as any starbucks, one of the best local coffee businesses is right across the street and was founded there. If you are IN birdrock, drink Birdrock Roasters coffee, not Pikes Place corporate!

Great staff, very friendly towards me and my PTSD service dog. This is smaller location, but it still has a lot of the typical Starbucks amenities like comfy chairs inside, power stations & clean restrooms. You will find 7-8 outdoor tables, 1-2 park benches and about 10 or more seats inside.

I went in the store they took five minutes to take my order then 8 minutes later i get the complete wrong order i asked for the tallest one they can give me they gave me the smallest i asked for carmal they give me carmal sprinkles. please train you employees before they give orders out. But normally its really good but today was just not it

My worst Starbucks experience ever. One of the customers accidentally took my Frappuccino. But he came back to the store in a minute and returned this cup. And Starbucks workers asked me if I want to get another cup I said yes. But after they said, that they do not have coffee and can sanitize this cup for me. Even if we forget about this covid-19 stuff, i don’t want to take a coffee from stranger who returned it to the store. It’s ridiculous and disrespectful.i was so mad that I left store without coffee. I lost my money, 10$ tips and my good mood on Saturday morning...

I was very disgruntled with the level of service and quality of product I received from this location. Its size and slow-paced employees were the cause of my poor review and when I received my coffee it was burnt and tasted terribly of having beans that were over roasted. The location is terribly busy which adds to the snails pace of service. Avoid this inconvenient location

Local neighborhood coffee house. The coffee is as expected. The Staff has changed recently and reflects a rather distant approach to service. They are not friendly nor welcoming. I only spend money here because of convenience.

Went there in the morning about 6:30. Ordered decaf....none made although open since 5am. Didnt want to make it apparently as she had to actually think about it, offer me a blonde Christmas blend instead even though I said Id wait. Felt like I was bothering her morning. No smile at all. Took my business elsewhere...reply was insincere whiney sorry . Never again. 7- 11 coffee just as good and much cheaper.

The tumbler I wanted wasnt in the store, but the staff found it for me and I was able to keep it and buy it at another store. This response in America is great. Its possible in Japan, but Im a little impressed. Im happy to see a small stainless steel tumbler that is not available in Japan.
