Poor quality and slow service.I ordered an ice coffee and it tasted like coffee water - very diluted. This is my regular order w other Starbucks.Also, I ordered two different drinks. One was done quickly, which I appreciated. The second came 15 minutes later. I stood there waiting and watching the girl make all the other drinks for other people before she got to my second order. Some people in line behind me got theirs before I had both of my drinks.I didn’t understand how she prioritize but it was not working for me.There are several several coffee places only steps away. I recommend those over this Starbucks location.OWNER… have the guts to respond directly here. Stop using your brush off template respond. It’s useless.

I do the delivery apps and I always wondered why I never get any deliveries from this Starbucks. Then this past week I have six or seven deliveries from downtown to Coronado. So I asked the employee today downtown why doesnt the Coronado one do these orders. They say they dont accept online deliveries. This district manager must be out of their mind. No one has more disposable income than La Jolla and Coronado. And youre having their hot coffee be driven 10-15 minutes away so by the time it gets to them its not as hot as it should be. Very smart

This Starbucks location is definitely one of the nicest ones. The staff here are always friendly and helpful, making the atmosphere warm and friendly. They provide very quick service too.Be aware that parking is hard to come by here, so be prepared to walk a block or two for your coffee. This Starbucks is very nice, they have outdoor seating area too. Highly recommended!

I don’t like the people who served me, they were extremely rude, the guy with the mustache and the guy that was with him this Saturday, 4 of May, 2024. This is not the first time that happens, I always get into this Starbucks with happiness and security and then when I walk out of it, I’m disappointed and ruins my whole day.

I ordered 2 Carmel ribbon crunches with extra Carmel and extra crunch toppings, cheese Danish, and a butter croissant. We received our Fraps with no extra Carmel and no extra crunch topping, and they never gave me my Danish or croissant. I let the male person in charge know that I never received my food and he told me to show him proof of purchase. I showed him my Starbucks App, it clearly shows that I paid for it and the time. He kept asking me if I ordered it on line or in the store. I kept telling him I ordered it in the store and I pointed out the girl who took my order. He then told me that he has no record of me purchasing the food but he will go ahead and make me another one. I was like, you never made me the first one. I showed him the purchase on the app again to prove that i paid for it and he told me with attitude I said I will make you another one. I wanted to go off on him for embarrassing me in front of all the customers and talking to me the way he did, but I didnt want to make a scene, so I kept quiet and told him thank you. He then made me wait some more and helped other customers with there food and then about 5 minutes later he gave me my food. I will never come here again.

Great Customer service and friendly. Open restrooms at least we can wash our hands. This is the 1st SB i went to that open restrooms. Were drove from 100miles no restrooms at all. Great for quick stop and on the way to Hway 75👍🏽Need more visible sign on the street though.

My sister and I went to this locations yesterday, October 23, 2023. We ordered, the Male cashier was very friendly and even made small talk with both of us. Now this is where I was pretty upset, my sister got her drink, an Iced Matcha. Mind you there were absolutely no one who had ordered before or after us, plus a couple mobile orders. I ordered a caramel ribbon frappe. I got up to order another chocolate croissant, the barista “Sabrina” randomly said “We’re working on your order” I glance at her and at the counter and she was not doing anything but talking and laughing with her co workers while the frappe cup was still on the counter!!! Obviously not working on it. I waited approximately 20 minutes for the frappe. During the spam of those 20 other customers had already order after us. She literally worked on those orders before mine and still said “Where working on it” after I politely let them know I was still missing an item. Over all this has been the worst and most disgusting customer service I’ve ever received. I am certainly unsatisfied and ashamed Starbucks have these type of employees. If I where a secret shopper I’d fail this location.

I liked this Starbucks because it was surprisingly spacious inside and had AC on a very hot day. They could increase the number of seats although it would probably get filled anyway. The bathroom had a little counter where you can put your drink.Their seasonal coconut milk mocha macchiato was pretty good. Not too sweet in the coffee part so be sure to blend it when you drink!

Starbucks on Coronado is a nice hang out - steady flow of traffic so its difficult to take calls or work for very long from here. Scarce outlets inside but there are a few outside which is where I tend to sit when I need to work for awhile.

Unfortunately it’s not the first or second time they messed up with my drinks, Starbucks it’s a great company but the Coronado girls need more training, one girl was wasting and wasting milk because she needed to use soy milk and she was “confusing” the instructions. I just hope they don’t put the company in trouble if they confuse again the products and give an allergy to someone. Please give them more training.

I bought coffee daily at Starbucks for years ...for my dear Dad. Vente black hot coffee. My drink is always an iced Americana add shot in a Trenta cup- extra ice and 10 Splenda with a side of non fat milk. 7:30 Dads coffee arrived, and after every medical Drs appointment, we picked up another black coffee! The Starbucks team is kind and efficient. Starbucks coffee is yummy.My Dad died Jan 1, 2023. I couldnt go to Starbucks. I couldnt go anywhere except to 8 AM Mass. Days passed, and months and 1 day, I was in line, and I realized I was not going to order his black coffee. I burst into tears. I couldnt get outta line and I ordered my drink and they asked if I wanted the black coffee....I could not answer. I still havent, and its cause I feel Dads spirit in the seat next to me - smelling the coffee. Heres to you, dear Dad. Thanks to all the Statbucks team for being kind and patient. May this come back to you - a lifetimes worth.

I usually come in before work since they’re open so early. My drink’s always made perfectly and so is my banana nut loaf bread. I came in today and asked if they sell the syrup they use in their coffee and the cashier, Nate, told me no and recommended other places I could check out to find something similar. He also gave me suggestions on my future orders and it was very helpful!

One of the nastiest Starbucks I have ever been too. I come here everyday because its close and for the past 5 days I have seen the same dirt and dog hair on their outside patio. I sit outside because I like the fresh air. As people walk by they comment on how gross it looks and how bad it smells. Even the inside is dirty. The is trash and food laying everywhere. The counters and tables are sticky and gross from spilled coffee. I have mentioned this to the baristas a few times. And still nothing has changed. They claim they sweep and deep clean their outside patio every night. They should be sweeping and cleaning their restaurant anytime it looks dirty.Other than that, their drinks are good and I never have a problem with my order.Please clean your restaurant.

I had to stop coming here because when I came here the first two times, they never brought my order out. They would always serve the people after me. When I would ask after 10 min “where’s my drink”? The 1-start is strictly because this food establishment allows pets inside. I dont have a problem with properly trained legitimate service animals, but I do have a major problem when people feel the need to take their pet with them everywhere, especially into restaurants and grocery stores. For one, I am allergic to dogs and cats. Two, there is a very real health and sanitation issue with pets being allowed where food is served. Aside from that, the staff was friendly and pleasant. Order was correct and prompt.

Great spot, parking can be a bit of an issue. The lot in the back is supposed to be for Panera customers only. So if its busy you might have a hard time finding parking close by. They were fast with getting drinks out and even though theres currently no seating inside there is outside seating options available.

This Starbucks is in the heart of Coronado, not far from the Hotel Del Coronado. Its very spacious and clean inside. Theres also a great outside area with good seating and covered over head. The baristas are friendly and fast with your order. I love the location! This is my first visit to the Coronado Starbucks and I definitely will come back!

Over the years this place has grown on me. This has become my go-to *$ location.They made some adjustments since the remodel: adjusting the table height, making the place more study/work friendly, and while the line can be long, the app lets you find a seat and bypass the line anyhow. The staff here is very friendly and helpful. They seem to have a good vibe with each other, which makes the whole place function well. Internet is always solid.Prior Review from a few years ago:Until the recent remodel, this used to be one of the best starbucks to work and hang out in San Diego. In the most recent remodel, they removed many of the tables, took out nearly all the outlets, and made the entire store more crowded. Total fail of the remodel. Ill be going somewhere else from now on.

Right in the middle of orange Ave makes this a convenient location. Easily within walking distance of the Coronado hotel. They have a complete Starbucks menu so you can get any of your favorites. No drive thru of course but that just seems to make things right smoother and faster. The staff was friendly and helpful. The store is very well kept. A couple of tables are outside on the sidewalk if you want to sit outside.

Big Starbucks with lots of space and a high ceiling, its what youd expect with a little extra something to make you feel like youre in a luxury space. The service can be a little slow, but any Starbucks at the right time can be pretty slow. They offer a lot of snacks and pastries, nothing too unordinary, but it seemed like more than what they typically offer.I enjoyed this Starbucks, which is unusual, but it had some nice touches. The coffee wasnt too awful (I prefer something lighter-- blonde roast is good).

Today has the experience that broke the camels back. I’ve given this place so many chances and if it’s beyond rude to never getting the drink right today was the worse. I thought I wouldn’t deal with any of it and just do a mobile order. I get there and wait 45 mins for 1 coffee.. finally I ask where is my coffee I watch the girl making the drinks never check the mobile order..this isn’t the first time. I brought my old dog to Coronado for her last day before putting her down (cancer). She loved walking on the sea wall. While she was sitting outside with her dog mom, I ordered a pup-accino for her with my order and the cashier charged me extra for it. I didn’t want to argue about it. It is Starbucks- so you know what to expect. Sometimes this location is way understaffed in the summer months for being in such a touristy location and can get quite a bit messy and busy. Staff is usually really friend though, you just may have to wait a bit, as sometimes that friendly staff will be taking your order then rushing over to make your drink too. :-)

Only have been here once, but the order was quick and fine. I sat outside in the huge patio with the sun beaming in on a beautiful day. I would say that this Starbucks is bigger that most Ive seen, I feel like they could seat 40 people inside and outside which is amazing! I hate finding out a starbucks is so small and I cant find a seat to work in!My only gripe is that the trashcans right outside (that are not owned by Starbucks) are filthy and overflowing with starbucks cups. I think Starbucks could put a few more trash cans on the way out so that they can take care of the byproducts they sell and help with the load of trash or recycling. I felt so bad for the trash guy that had to deal with all the overflow of one time used cups. I know its also on the consumer to go back inside starbucks if the outside trash cans are full, but might as well make it easier?

Ive become quite the regular at this Starbucks location recently to complete work and do HW. When I first started coming the service was so-so and my order was usually made wrong. But recently they had some sort of staffing issue and some of the old folks are gone and a bunch of new faces are working here. There are a few baristas who know exactly what Ill be ordering by heart, so much so that as soon as they see me walk in my drink is already made and ready to be paid for. Talk about speedy!One downside is that some of the newbies wont let you know when your transaction is complete at the register. They kind of just zone out and start doing something else while you stand there awkwardly sometimes.Close to small quaint shops and not a far walk from the islands historic hotel and beach.

The WORST customer service EVER!! Rude chick making the coffee. Lucky I wasnt a secret shopper to this location. They did not have anything that we ordered. Normally, people order drinks because you wanted THAT certain drink, with THAT ingredient. Not so you can have a drink that is missing the MAIN INGREDIENTS??!? Communication people!!! SO you would think they would have extras of that one ingredient ESPECIALLY on a Sunday Afternoon.
