Ordered 2 drinks in app. It took me 5 minutes to walk from Eagle Park to this Starbucks location and my drinks were ready. Hassle free when picking up. I didn’t need to ask for anything. Straws, napkins, strays and to go bags were displayed near the pickup station.

Perfect location on Castro and opens at 6am. Love this place ample with seating and charge sockets. Big space and good staff. Bathroom doesn’t require a code so it’s convenient when you need to go while enjoying your coffee.

Highly unprofessional baristas here.They close the store before the closing hours. Don’t visit them thinking you’ll get your drink, they will be chatting inside locking the door and won’t open even if you knock the door .

I’m a regular at Starbucks and this location passes the vibe check with flying colors. Every time I’ve ordered my food and drinks are the correct order and right temperature. It’s clean for a downtown location and there’s lots of seating. Great place to enjoy a coffee and study or charge your phone. Have to give a shoutout to the employees for handling the influx of people during the power outages with kindness and hardwork 🫶

Update February 2024Since my favorite shop was closed, I tried this Starbucks again. They must have changed or trained their personnel, because their service really improved. Especially Ronald is very customer friendly.Probably new people. I waited 15 min for my latte. Asked, didn’t get a reply, they were obviously too busy. I waited in line again asked again. This time they did apologize and gave my coffee and a giftcard for a free coffee. I went here because my favorite cafe next to it was closed, unfortunate mistake. Usually I am OK with Starbucks but this time it was a bit of a miss.

I had been meaning to catch up with a close friend of mine for almost 3 yrs ( COVID .... Two times in a row I’ve had bad experiences at this Starbucks. First time, there was chocolate sauce smeared on the lid of my iced tea. Second time, my iced tea lemonade did not have lemonade in it; it was just tea. The label clearly said green tea lemonade. Avoid this location.

A rather busy location, which is good as it is open later than other stores in the area.Some indoor seating and spacious outdoor seating along the walkway. There’s also lots of seating along the street.Parking can be a challenge here as there is limited parking in front on Castro.

Not much consistency in drink quality as employees do not have sufficient training. Ordered an espresso frappe today and watched the barista add piping hot espresso shot directly into an empty plastic cup! I asked her to remake it and of course she remade it in the SAME plastic cup. I was too exhausted to say anything and ended up throwing the drink away.

I come here regularly for many years. I was 6 days late for the Birthday drink and honestly I was under impression that I had one month to utilize it. But, Paolo’s lady manager On Sunday Dec 11 at 4:30pm has refused to give the drink. It is not that she said No but the ignorant attitude made me sad to be a regular customer. I try Peet’s or the Others more often.

Friendly store and the restrooms is always clean. Pastries often out of stock but that seems to be the rule at Starbucks these days. Key selling point for this location: lots of plugs for computer or charging phone. And if theyre full, theres lots of outdoor seating.

Update: Restrictions removed. Great staff, and coffee!Masks still required at this Starbucks. Even though Santa Clara county and the state has transitioned to remove that restriction. The service has always been great here, and the cashier was very polite, however the message hasnt arrived. Definitely will come back once that restriction is removed.

The Positives:- It stays open late every night (around 10pm or so).- The staff are super friendly and accommodating.- There are a good number of power plugs everywhere for laptops/phones.- Amazing music. If you are a jazz/blues fan like me, you will love their taste in music.The Not So Great:- Parking is challenging, had to circle for a while to find a well-lit spot.- Super super crowded at certain times. I came on a busy Sunday; it was packed for a couple of hours, with a line went out the door.- NOISY - this happened during the busy hours; there seem to be a ton of kids that visit this establishment.- New offerings are just ok. Tried the Iced Cascara Coconut Milk Latte and for me personally, it was bland. Note that I am not a serious coffee drinker, so I prefer the Iced Tea Infusions as they are really good.

It is a nice place but I am not satisfied with people serving. I havent got the sandwich I ordered. I paid for it and then the waiter came out saying..sorry we ran out of it. Thats ok... I can understand. He asked me to select something else and I specified him my required sauce both times. Finally I got my first order to hand and without any sauce!

This location underwent some redecor/ layout change recently - for the better! It is now a lot more spacious with more table seatings available, and a good balance between large tables (4-6 seats) and smaller ones (2 seaters). The baristas are always friendly and efficient, though the lines can be a bit long on the morning. There’s nice outdoor seating for warmer days too!

I’m writing this review based on my most recent visit to this location. When ordering a standard menu drink, the employee taking my order literally asked me about every ingredient in the drink and how they should make it. It ended up confusing me more about what I usually get when I order this drink, because I do not actually know how they make it. And when my boyfriend wanted to order a new menu item, that same employee didn’t even know it existed and basically pushed us to order another drink. This was a very unpleasant experience, and ended up taking up a lot more time than usual. I feel bad for the people in line behind us!The drink was well made by the barista, so that’s why I am giving this 2 stars!

Seating and tables are ok, cashier was nice, too, but their barista is one of the more unprofessional ones I have seen at Starbucks. When they brought out my drink(mocha frap), it had mocha syrup and frap sliding down the outside of the cup, had to use 4 napkins to clean everything off, barista saw this and did not say anything.

I have always come here and I like the place only when it is already 8 oclock they do not want to do any frappe because according to them the blenders do not work,3 times I have come and they have told me the same thing, 3 times I have been told that the blenders are broken and that they do not have the ingredients to make a drink. I understand that they close at 9 oclock but at 8 they do not want to sell any frappe because according to them the machines are broken, all by God they have like 3 blenders and what a coincidence that they are all broken, please I am not stupid.

Large, busy, and loud. If youre looking at this review, you probably already know what Starbucks does and does not do. This one is no different - all of the usual drinks are there, all of the usual pastries and baked goods are available, and there is free wi-fi. Of note, there is a Clover machine available for Starbucks Reserve coffee (try it - it brews an excellent cup of coffee). The parking can be difficult (it is downtown Mountain View, after all).

Standard Starbucks store that is very busy during the morning and throughout the day. Sometimes hard to find parking nearby and there is no drive through. The restaurant is clean and the staff is friendly. Dont stop here often due the parking issue and the lack of a drive-thru (other Starbucks are nearby with those options), but is worth a stop if you are downtown.
