This Starbucks is so throughly chill. The seating is a little close together but that makes for more spots and more outlets considering for the small location is can get a bit busy!!But my main hearts are for the employees! They were super welcoming and professionally accommodating and even were friendly toward my dog! I needed to get a solid two hours of work done on my phone due to my computer getting jacked out of my car earlier this week and I never once felt like I was in the way.The girl with the short hair seems like a manager and does a really good job at what she does!!

Im an everyday Starbucks customer, I usually satisfied with the service and everything, until I seen this unbelievable situation today, where a senior citizen showed up, and needed a small cup of coffee, the cashier asked him to use the app instead, the old man doesnt use the app nor maybe have a smart phone; he uses cash or credit card. They turned him down because their system is down !!The poor old man needed a coffee but his money cannot buy him one, that feels like Starbucks discriminate against this brave old man because he doesnt use technologies !! ( I expected them to offer him a free cup of coffee Instead due his age as a senior citizen and the inconvenient )

The cashier is focused, smart, fast and attending the clients in good and professional manners. His colleagues are serving the clients in the shortest possible time. I was at this Starbucks location and witnessed Maria who claims to be a manager yelling at a senior citizen for asking for a cup of ice. Clearly this location has poor leadership that they would go so far as to make a big deal about asking for ice!?! Get a life, Maria.

This place is nerve racking!!They play the loudest and most intense music as if they have planned it to kick the consumers out!! They start the type of cleaning coffee shops at closing or after closing by turning the chairs upwards on the tables …. At 6pm when they are suppose to close at 8pm. Most of the times they even kick all the costumers out at around 4-5pm saying that they are doing the daily cleaning!! This place is the most unwelcoming and worse Starbucks I have ever been to! The picture you see is at 6:30 while they are suppose to close at 8pm!!I think they even goof around with their WIFI!!

I have gone to this Starbucks multiple times. It is fine as far as the Starbucks experience should be. However, on this last visit at 9:30 am, the crew played their own music at a very loud decibel. Loud guitar driven (punk) music. Waiting in line to make my order, the speaker is right over the deli case where I stood. It was extremely loud. I think it’s fine for them to play their personal music playlists while working, but not so loud as to disturb the customers. It’s arrogant for them not to think about those coming through the door. It’s bad for the brand and business.

I have realized for a while now that unless Starbucks comes up with more signature brews their other coffees are very basic. I requested for the dragon drink and asked them to make sure to be easy on the ice but they landed up filling it up with ice. I told them about it and got the same thing again.I wanted to sit down and work on my laptop while sipping my drink with a banana nut bread. I searched everywhere for a charging port but found all of them were sealed. when I asked the staff about why this was happening, the guy answered we dont have those anymore due to crowding.I found that so weird esp since Starbucks is supposed to be a place someone can relax and study or do work while having coffee. And if someone needed to charge their phone or laptops, having charging ports everywhere would be a requirement.This is the second Starbucks I have been to where they decided to remove those plugins and I am curious to know why this is happening!!!

Visited this Starbucks during the day because of the free Volta car charging in the parking lot and did school work on my laptop in the lobby. During my time here, I noticed a lot of the baristas were very friendly to their customers which is great! The baristas like to take their breaks and meetings at the table nearest to the left wall upon entry, so make sure not to sit there. As for laptop charging, theres only two spots to charge. Unfortunately, the power outlets underneath the benches arent plugged in or doesnt work.

Today I went to buy coffee for me and my son and they treated me very badly the cashier took my order I tried to order she didnt even let me finish my order when she told me I know what you want I just thought how she can know when they gave me my order They were wrong, it was not what I wanted, I told her that my order was wrong and she answered me very angrily, she told me that this is what I ordered, I told her no, she said that she would prepare it for me but that she was not going to give me the one that was Too bad I told her that I didnt go to give me the coffee that I didnt want, she threw it in the trash with a very bad attitude, she made my coffee and didnt prepare it well as I ordered, I felt very angry, frustrated by how that lady treated me I asked to speak to the manager and it turns out that she is the manager. I cant believe that a person who has that responsibility treats customers like this. I had a very bad experience. I will never go back to that store. I just want it not to happen to anyone else

SBUX has more consistently provided me the typically precise recipes that I’ve usually ordered more often than other coffee cafe’s that I rarely patronize because of a few odd circumstances which leave me little alternatives for procuring even the unpopular odd beverages on limited, obscure, and avoidable menu option when what I really wish for is almost anything from Starbucks.“You know you want it!” At that point I a devices to find the nearest Starbucks. Even on the worst of days we should get the most satisfying beverages; morning, noon, or night.I’m still surprised how Starbucks has a secret menu that I never noticed being promoted.If you are new to drinking better cafe beverages, come when it isn’t busy. The employees are all usually wonderfully chatty. Especially at this location, off Powell Street. Tell them what kind of beverage you want. Ask them for advice.This location has the feel of a WiFi cafe. People watch; network; flirt; concentrate; stand; sit. Keep your eyes and ears open. Someone might want to talk.Lots of ways to plug in your electronics.Note: I don’t like signing-in to use WiFi. I don’t like being forced to do anything when it comes to my devices, or interfaces. I’m not sure why SBUX won’t let you use their WiFi without registering.

I purchased my usual matcha latte, but saw a beautiful stainless steel mermaid colored cup on the shelf. The barista (whose name I can’t remember) was very helpful with getting the cup off of the shelf and explaining my points! When I visit the area again, I’ll be sure to pop in for my usual!

This got to be the worst Starbucks I ever visit. The service is so horrible, people work there seem so bitter, apathetic and distant, it almost is as if they were forced to work there. I went there in two occasions, the second time I asked they lady if I could have Splenda ( now you have to ask for those things) she asked me how many, I said one, she handed my coffee and informed me she already put it on it, I was a little shocked by it, but took it anyway without complaining, I asked for a stirrer stick and she rolled her eyes but gave it to me anyway. When I got to my car and gave a sip to my coffee… bitter, she had not add any Splenda or sugar non! I would have preferred she not touching my coffee in the first place and second, if they were out of Splenda, just say “we are out” so I don’t have to feel deceived. Don’t go to this place.

Friendly staff, goes out of their way to get your order. Busy, but you move through the line quickly. Outdoor seating, not in the sun, so pleasant on a warm day. Standard Starbucks menu so you always find your favorite! Staff keeps up with cleaning and trash and recycle.

I come here on Tuesdays to study before class. Parking is easy to find, coffee is good, and 2 bathroom for customers.However, there are NO wall outlets or wireless charging pads. It seems they had it, but decided to physically cut all the wiring.Luckily my laptop can last long enough for me to spend an afternoon here.The employees are very nice, and always smiles when greeting me.

Ordered ahead with a mobile order and it took me 10 minutes to get there and my drink hadnt even been started when I arrived. Then when my drink was made, it was not made correctly, it did not taste very good, and the Barista was rude to me when I picked up the drink. Not to mention that I had to wait another five or ten minutes once I got there to get the drink. This is by far the worst Starbucks experience Ive had in a while and I go every day to locations all over the Bay area.

Really poor customer service. I was given a lot of attitude, despite being pretty patient with their employees, after asking for them to fix a drink. They added way too much simple syrup and almond milk (which is usually something I add to my own drinks at other cafes), and so I asked them to dilute it a little with more coffee. This was apparently too much for the poor guy, so he asked his manager (I assume) to make me a new one. She also was not really experienced, but at least asked how many pumps of sugar water I wanted.My biggest complaint, and i suppose this would be for Starbucks in general, is that when I asked for Almond milk and simple syrup, they treated it like a super special request. How else do you sweeten iced coffee? You cant add sugar grains to it.. And instead of handing me the almond milk, they instead pored way too much in, not even asking how much I wanted. This made the already watered down coffee (literally watched her water it down) almost tasteless. I didnt bother to return this one, just figured Id eat the extremely pricey cost of a watery cup of cold brew- which for some reason was already mostly ice in volume...In short... just go to a real cafe, and dont cheat yourself.

This is my go-to location when leaving the City. Theyre always pretty busy, but also very efficient. Today was my first time visiting since COVID hit, and they are ON. POINT. Enforced social distancing, signs at the entrance with the max number of guests, and mask enforcement. An unmasked patron was asked to go to Old Navy next door to purchase a mask, but they could not be in the store. I appreciate it!

If you are lactose intolerant like me avoid this location. Every single time I go to this location they have neglected to make my drinks with dairy alternative milk, resulting in me spending over an hour sick in the restroom. This is absolutely ridiculous. Most reliable Starbucks back when I worked in Emeryville. They exceed expectations with online orders, and the indoor environment is generally cool to hang out. Big table or a few small tables to get your work done or just read the paper. I have no need to visit anymore, but if Im in town and want some Italian Roast, I know where to go.

This is a very quintessentially Eville Starbucks. The quality is great, the baristas are wonderful and the patrons look like the area, diverse. For sure some local flavor here. The giant lighted sign in the parking lot to remove all valuables from your car sets the tone. Still, this is my regular Starbucks and I love it.

I watched the employee make the coffee I asked for wrong and when I presented this to her she gave me a cup of the syrup. Coming into this Starbucks is a hit or miss. This morning definitely a miss, Janelle made what was suppose to be a Venti Cinnamon Dolice and I got hot milk. I rushed it without tasting it my fault for that. But I called back to complain and Janelle answered the phone. The worst starbucks. Terrible staffing in the morning (3 people for rush hour?), lack of line management, and employees just care about their conversations. Be ready to wait for at least 10 minutes for your basic coffee and about a half hour during treat receipt time. Management needs to look at transactions by hour and schedule based on it.
