I had the pleasure of being served by Barista Angel at this Starbucks location, and I must say, the experience was nothing short of exceptional. Angel’s warm demeanor and genuine enthusiasm made my visit truly memorable. Not only did Angel expertly craft my favorite drink, but their attention to detail and willingness to go above and beyond to ensure customer satisfaction was truly commendable. The staff at this particular Starbucks not the friendliest. Customer service is not their strength. The location is nice and the place looks clean and nicely decorated. There is plenty of space indoors and outdoors. If you chose the seat indoors the chairs available to you are in decent shape and kept clean. Outdoor seating is nice and pets are allowed in this area. An advantage to this Starbucks is its proximity to Golden Gate Park.

Starbucks has always been fine but recently they have a policy of no outlets at any of their locations. Was hoping to dip in to get out of the rain, get a coffee and charge up phones but this wasnt possible as all outlet were covered. I dont understand this practice as starbucks is basically an internet cafe but perhaps internet will be the next thing to go in order to keep people out of the space. Corporations will complain that brick and mortor locations are empty and claim economy and crime but in reality it is their greedy practices that deter the consumer. Staff was not friendly and seemed hostile to some of the other guests.

Irresponsible for the customers time and money. Made a mobile order via Starbucks App 1hr before the regular close hour. When arrived, the staff just said they were closed and they cannot refund the order and just gave me the Customer service number. Please avoid this store not caring customers time and money.

I came here to work and study. I would not recommend. They have all their outlets covered so you cannot plug in your laptop. Their mobile order pickup is not timely. I had to flag someone down and point at my items behind the counter because mobile orders have to be handed to you. They’re not in the open like other locations. What was frustrating about this is employees would come up to place more items in the mobile order section and divert eye contact. I was really disappointed. Usually I can rely on Starbucks when I’m traveling to be a place I can study and get work done. This was not the case. Off to a different coffee shop!

Love to grab some coffee and hot chocolate, take the muni N and jump off the last stop at Ocean Beach for sunrise. Location is perfect, it does get crowded with lots of homeless that take all the tables outside. Staff are always nice and always so many options on the menue.

Love this Starbucks! Wonderful baristas- Grace is a joy to see every morning. Cheerful, professional, efficient, and makes a perfect drink every time! Hoping management can do something about the entryway, and brighten up the space for customers and workers! This is a very busy and important location. They deserve some investment in making this location as pretty as the others!

The drinks from this store are wildly inconsistent and the service is incredibly hit or miss. Unless they have a barista designated to dole out mobile orders, be prepared to be ignored while they make drinks and stare at you awkwardly while you try to flag them down.Just this morning I ordered using the mobile app, a single vanilla cream cold brew, and I was notified that it was ready within minutes. When I got there, the baristas ignored me waving at them and asking for help, and then when I did get someones attention, my drink was practically all coffee, no cream.This isnt the first time Ive had an experience like this, its just a disappointment. Do better.

If you have a choice dont go to this Starbucks. They have decided to split their team into mobile and in-store. That means if you order in store, mobiles always get higher priority. Instead applying the whole team to the entire prioritized list of buyers.

I ordered ahead on the Starbucks app. Granted, I walked in only 1 minute after ordering but it took forever to get my cold brew. 3 employees and 2 customers waiting beside myself. Girl making drinks wouldnt acknowledge me standing right at the pickup counter when it was obvious I wanted to get her attention. My cold brew was literally room temperature too. It was the big 30 ounce size with 8 blonde roast shots added (it was my birthday so I went all out on my free bday drink and concocted a $17 drink lol). She should of added some ice, you cant serve a room temperature or slightly warmer than that COLD BREW.

They cant ever make a coffee dark. If you ask for light or a little cream they just pour way too much cream in there. Its like they didnt even hear you, or just dont care.Four employees cant get the bathroom open, because they dont know the code.I really wish something else was open early in the morning. Id happily go anywhere else.

So we went in here fully masked up because my daughter had feminine needs. But Im not going to shout this to the cashier. I asked politely to use their restroom even mentioned it was an emergency. They still refused. Not only did they miss out on a $10 tip for helping me out with my daughters needs, you get put on blast for not being accommodating to feminine needs of a 14yo. Thank you guys!

They have never messed my drink up and the staff seem focused on making coffee and following the Starbucks corporate rules. My only complaint is that I always have to wait a while for my drink. All the mobile orders slow down the service. Im old school, I like my drink fresh off the line. I wish they gave priority to those that are waiting in line... In the building.

Decent staff and stereotypical Starbucks products and environment. As a matter of fact, after thinking it over for a few, with the exception of closing somewhat early, this is one of the better Starbucks in town. Can think of several times the employees have personally been observed going above and beyond normal levels of service to help out the elderly, handicapped, or otherwise less fortunate. I went in this morning to get my items and saw a guy make my drink twice with the wrong milk choice. I originally had my drink to be ordered with almond milk; however, he made it with milk. I asked him to remake it, and then he made it with only water. I would have reassessed it, but it was busy and I had to get to work at 8:00am. Please teach the staff to not cut corners!

This particular Starbucks is incredibly suck ! Even neighboring shops were nice enough to let people use the restroom, this Starbucks refuses other to use.Worse? But this time I have to because I felt my daughter and her cousins were not given good customer service at Starbucks 9th & Irving in San Francisco, CA. My daughter placed 10 orders on the Starbucks apps at 9th & Irving and it crashed on Wed. Feb. 9th. She and her cousins decided to go to the establishment since they were near by. When they arrived at the establishment she placed the 10 orders verbally. As she was placing the orders she heard one of the staff snickering, After this order we are closing shop. Once she placed the orders, she and her cousins waited outside instead of inside since there were 10 of them ranging from 14-20 years of age. Once the drinks were completed they came back in to pick it up. However, she felt they were being rushed out of the establishment. As they were exiting, one of the staff slammed the door behind them immediately without saying, Thank you and good night. Thus they didnt event get the chance to let the staff know that 2 of their drinks tasted like lemonade. They tried to tell someone inside the store but they were ignored. The drink that was incorrect was supposed to be a Venti Strawberry Acai Light Ice Apple Juice no water. #Starbucks, Im feeling that they were aged discriminated since their age ranged were14-20. and the 3 of adults looked younger than their age. Whats up with that. They are customers too and should be treated with respect from Dario Sanchez

As a student looking for a good place to study, this SB location has a spacious environment. A lot of seating. The architecture and aesthetics set a good mood and vibe to study. There is music in the background, and I pop in my own study music.REQUEST: please fix your outlets! It’s a deal breaker when I need to charge my computer and have to leave!

Its kind of out of my way, but I love visiting this Starbucks. Unlike some other locations, Ive never had a bad drink here. Its usually pretty busy but theyre usually pretty quick here. Everybody is really friendly, but Brandon, Samir, Rachel and Carmen are my favorites. I come here mostly for the warm and welcoming attitudes of the friendly baristas working here.

Although since its remodel this Starbucks is much improved its location still limits its ability to be a place where one can relax and hang out with friends. conveniently located in the inner sunset business district right next to a N-Judah stop, and near Golden gate Parks 9th Avenue entrance, the location would seem to be ideal for gathering with friends, meeting before a excursion, etc. Unfortunately this location also works against it. Being so close to Golden gate Park it attracts a large contingent of indigent some of whom can be unclean and quite boisterous (not all indigent or unclean or boisterous but it only takes one really crazy guy to spoil a get-together). Although it has outdoor seating the environmental noise from the train, construction and just general traffic, makes it almost impossible to hold a conversation. So, its its a convenient place to grab a coffee before jumping on the train or heading to the park but not a place that one might like to hang out.

What can I say this is your neighborhood store! Such an amazing staff on all day parts. They take the time to get to know everyone of their customers and treat them with respect. Yeah, they may not know ALL of us by name but for sure they know our drinks and have them mostly ready for us when we are at reg paying.Yeah, you do see some new staff members but majority of the workers go to State. During the summer or they are done with school some of the do live in a different city. We as customers should take the time to know our baristas.They keep the store clean and the restrooms. Thats great they have a code to use the restrooms as well. Restrooms are for paying CUSTOMERS.The staff at this location are so energetic, fun, polite, and your always seeing them smile, not matter what craziness goes into that store. If you live in the neighborhoods youll know what I mean about crazies. They do their best to get the unfortunate people out of the way so paying customers can sit. Maybe 1 lingers around but like I said they do their best to make the store safe.Drink quality is great! They also do latte art for you if they arent so busy. Oh, food quality is on point. Starbucks means two things to me: consistent coffee and, in an emergency, a $4 restroom. After trekking here 10 minutes trying not to pee my pants, and buying a PSL, the staff said they couldnt help - and when I begged, deferred me to their manager. One of the nicer Starbucks in town! Their lattes and pourovers (using a Clover) actually are great, even at the same standard as the premium local shops like Snowbird who charge a lot more. The Starbucks has MORE bean variety too. The WiFi is blazing fast and you dont need to ask for the password. Loads of snacks. I think Ive reconverted to Starbucks!

Its a starbucks.A national chain in this neighborhood is not very common. This starbucks is always busy with people squating at tables to work and study. They have a lot of togo orders as well as order ahead orders.in the past they had this awesome outside bench that was a really nice touch. This Starbucks does a good job and is a large store so they tend to have all the latest time coffee crazes. Wait times are generally short and staff friendly. There are a lot of homeless around so, you must ask for a restroom code. You can buy a homeless person a quick bite or a beverage, which makes the good vibes here multiply. Street parking, two lots near by. The store is right on the N Judah line and the 44 line. A great pit stop for tourists heading in and out of Golden Gate Park.b lots of great amenities near by: Banks, ATMs, pharmacy, grocery, post office. This Starbucks is a perfect one stop shop so you can refuel and get all your errands done in one locale.

Your typical Starbucks. I tell them my order, my name, and they give me what I asked for. Totally missed my name once (they called me Lex), but the order was correct... I guess that is what matters at the end of the day. Some homeless people chillin outside, but I have seen the po-pos checkin on them. The people who work there are not too friendly, but not rude, just how I like my Uber and Lyft drivers. A generous 4 stars! Will go back.

I can never find a place to sit when I stop by this place, even on the front patio. There is often homeless folks sitting out front and its noisy street with the N-Judah running right in front of it. If you want to get your coffee and take a short walk up 9th Ave, theres a public parklette outside of Arizimendis. Otherwise, it seemed like every other Starbucks to me.
