Came to do some work and get a hot chocolate however there are NO power outlets.I use a laptop that’s a bit out of date and has to stay plugged in as I use it.I didn’t put my order in since I was not able to work. I asked the barista and they advised me it’s been about 8 or 9 years since this has been in place.This is my first time to this area as I travel a lot and this is my first encounter of now power for patrons to work in a Starbucks.

Great coffee, I love the island style layout it really puts the Starbucks crew in the middle of the heat, and they handle it quite well, even at the busiest times. Kudos.This also the very place that i realized how much a certain application about me had messed me up so bad that i developed ptsd and severe anxiety over the fact that i liked a women do much and i even knew that she liked me to but all i could do is cry because i know that no matter what i do its a fail and the application will do anything in its power to destroy take or cause to lose in some way out of my control. No matter the right or wrong choices.So i want to thank the beautiful women that helped me become aware and thank this awesome Starbucks for hosting its great java bean products that allowed me and her to cross paths.

Came on to get something to drink before jury duty. Clean store and employees were great and welcoming. They didnt appear to be reading from s script like other Starbucks. Lol.Food and coffee was Starbucks quality for better or worse. Consistent is the word. 😀

One of the best Starbucks I have ever been to. As a result, I downloaded its app for the first time.I was exercising and feeling a sudden hunger that I needed to boost up my blood sugar level. I walk in for restroom first and the guy follows me and asks me whether I need to use the restroom. He then unlocks the door for me before I even order anything.I have a sandwich, a hot chocolate and a cup of warm water. The tall blonde girl who helps me is very friendly and hardworking. She reminds me it is my order with a smile and informs me when the sandwich is ready, she will let me know and I can have a seat first.While I am enjoying my sandwich and hot chocolate, she starts to clean the tables, sweep the floors and tidy up the trash cans, all by herself with efficient work result.As a result, I download the app there (a very bad signal area) to be their loyal customer officially. I have Starbucks cards from different countries, but this is my first time to download US version of the app.Keep up the good work, well done!Arlen is awesome, courteous and humorous. Nice job!

This is the worst starbucks I’ve ever been to. In town for a wedding and visited this location four times. Not a single time in four did they get the order correct. Constantly forgetting orders. When asking for a drip coffee, was served hot water because the barista just didn’t notice. Guy behind the counter looks unbelievably high. This location is an absolute mess.

Service was very good, I ordered a wrap which was supposed to have bacon. The bacon lasted one bite and after that it was mostly egg and potatoes. I would like a bit more bacon, and maybe a little pouch of Tapatio would have been nice.

The quality of service has declined. This is still a great location to get your fix. Lately, my drinks have been consistently wrong, and it could be due to the new people they have and are not focused on the details of the order. I would ask the management to train their staff to flow instructions within the order. It saves everyone time, instead of having to remake it again.

Always great service, very fast and the young gentleman who took my order guided me through some choices I didnt know I had. Food was great. Outdoor area was austere and didnt have any chairs or even a trash can. Not sure what was driving this but that could improve.

This used to be my favorite Starbucks ever and although I have found another couple of places that I love equally this is still an awesome relaxed Starbucks to hang out at to read some poetry while sipping delicious beverages. Sadly it has become indeed crowed with Venice-vibes-people and other homeless ones who dont show particular manners..Still true - nine months later. Very annoying, LOUD, not particularly clean and even rude hobos people all the bleeping time.

Great atmosphere all around. Always I do need to have a white chocolate mocha in the morning. A lot of people go to that location. Make sure you order to pickup, sometimes seats are not available when you arrived. Restrooms not very well maintained, smelly in the area. A lot of homeless people using the restrooms. Management needs to maintain more workers focusing in the restroom area, and cleaning the tables and seats.

Spacious, lots of seating, 2 restrooms, friendly staff, always make my drink right. 2 blocks from the Santa Monica Pier.No power outlets - theyve been gone for years unfortunately.Underground parking lot entrance is on Ocean Ave. Validation gets 90 min free.Store is on corner of Main St & Olympic Drive across from the Santa Monica Courthouse. Even though I had spent $40+ at this location and sat working on my computer quietly for a couple hours, they kept telling me they dont have an outlet in the entire store to which I could charge my phone. I had my cable and just needed to be connected briefly to call an uber to get home. I am clearly not a homeless person and have spent money here with your company. I was told that this is my problem and no regard for how I could call myself an Uber to get home. They expected me to walk several blocks in the dark by myself with no phone to find a possible outlet at a mall down the street. Horrible customer service and lack empathy.

There’s a back section with seating, which is good, but the 3 times I’ve been here there’s been a guy sleeping in that back section. The last time he was sprawled across the padded bench back there.Still, it’s a good sized space, which can be hard to find at Starbucks’s, and the music is nice, and the staff pleasant, and it’s never overly busy. And they have multiple individual restrooms!

This is a great Starbucks. It has windows all around and they have plenty of seating, plugs and tables. The only issue I see are that the seats inside, which are mostly stools, are a little painful to sit in for any length of time. Their food is decent and the coffee is decent as well. The views are great of the Courthouse and the park. The beach is only a few minutes walk away. They also have seating outside for you to enjoy.

I was at this location last summer just never had a chance to review it..Me and my daughter visit for the summer Santa Monica for the first time. We both went to this location 3 times a day and always bought coffee. But one day we went in there and the lady that is a shift supervisor. Around 10am. Told us to leave or she was going to call the cops on us and not to ever come back to that location. Seriously !!! You treat paying customers like that!!! That go to your location 3 times a day!!! A homeless guy started to yell at my daughter and she yell back. He started. It This location needs to learn how to treat customers not take up for homeless people hugging up the tables. One time I was in there guy was eating pizza and playing music that was bad language they did not kick him out.Becareful of this location. The nighttime crew was always nice to me.Watch our for the daytime crew!!! Learn how to treat customers crew on ocean ave.. I been to many locations nationwide and this is the worst.

This Starbucks is located across from the Santa Monica Courthouse and the City Hall and therefore expected to be crowded. It was almost empty and literally no one was at the line. Service was ok. I ordered a multigrain bagel and asked them to be double tested. This is my usual order at any Starbucks and almost all the time it has been served that way. This time it was served as light toasted and therefore was soft. When I was opening the packet, I was approached by a staff with a sample drink. I told her I had asked for double toast as I prefer it to be slightly crunchy. I was going to eat it that way but she said she would come back and get that from me for another toast. She never did. Then I took it to the register and asked. He seemed puzzled and gave to the person who was toasting all the foods. They both laughed about my special request. I didnt complain as I didnt want to make a big deal out of it. The staff wasnt trained for a good customer service and it wasnt their fault.

I was kicked out of this store after someone tried to steal my cell phone and tablet and I entered a physical altercation with this individual to get it back. Its not safe to charge your things and leave them unattended it used to be, not anymore. The bathrooms are always full and deplorably in disarray, if youre poor or homeless youre not welcome here, I used to enjoy coming to this location but ever since yesterday when I had to physically harm someone just to get my own property back I dont feel safe at this location anymore, this location is not safe.The way I feel, if you dont care about me as a human being, then I dont care about you as a business. I hope they go bankrupt.

In the middle of an unprecedented hour in the city of Santa Monica, there is some normalcy. Thats what you can expect when you get your beverage and snacks at this Starbucks. If you are a local, given enough visits, they will learn your name and preferred beverage. Nothing is perfect or promised in this life, but sometimes a little kindness goes a long way. Thats why this is one of my regular spots.

This is my favorite Starbux in Santa Monica. Yes, I’ve been to them all! Friendly staff. Nice and big inside, and outside patio, lots of bathrooms, and just a nice space and location. I go to this Starbucks a lot to do work. There are a set of employees here that are great but today I ordered a trenti Peach White Tea with Lemonade at around 1030 am. And it was odd that i did not get a label on my drink stating what I ordered it usually has it, but my complain is not about that, my complain is I paid $4.75 and I did not get what I ordered considering I was the only person at the till at that time, the individual that took my order whispered something to the person who was preparing my drink, of course it took quite an attempt for who was going to take my order it felt like nobody wanted to interact with me. So when I got my drink, the drink was just an iced tea, without lemonade, without the taste of peach and surely without the taste of white tea. Your employees should know that Starbucks is everywhere and people have grown accustomed to particular drinks and recognizes what the product should be, at a standard. I dont know what your business practice are or policies but I dont like getting cheated and lied to. So for me I give people a chance and the benefit of a doubt, I ordered a refill, same order, different barista. She informed me I cant get a refill of the same drink, so they gave me an alternative because they were hoing to charge me .80 cents more which would be $1.30. So I got a lesser from the lesser of the product offer that I did not order in the first place in which I was charged at full price. Ordering should be simple, complications arise from whatever personal issues your bartistas have, i just dont have time nor have the energy to tell people how to do their job. This experience I am comparing from all the Starbucks I have gone to, and they have never done this to me, only at this establishment here in Santa Monica. Its just very disgusting.

We had spent the day at the Santa Monica Pier having lunch, shopping, and playing pokemon go while observing the LA Marathon. We found this Starbucks off the pier downtown and snuck in for some caffiene before having to drive back to Long Beach. The store was clean, very busy, up to date, well stocked & the employees were very clean well groomed and very efficient w/ getting the crowds of patrons served in a timely manner w/ orders being correctly handled. Has a beautiful landscape to view all around it. Was less than a block from the Convention Center and less than a quarter mile walk from the Pier.
