Update: 4/18/24 . Gross sandwich definitely did not look like the photo of sandwich. Microwave bacon thrown on!!!! So I ordered a Trenta Pink drink with light ice! And they gave me a nasty looking pink drink that looked like this in the picture I uploaded. So I told them it is not supposed to look like this and they got rude and they took it and did it again, so when I got it back it was a Venti Pink drink with extra ice!! Smfh, thats not what i asked for. I just left cause no point to argue with them cause they will retaliate...

Finally a 100% beautiful remodel..it is beautiful inside.they did a great job WOW. The chairs unfortunatley are All very uncomfortable..Gone are the nice cushioned chairs...the back rest on these new chairs not even high enough to support your spine. Unfortunatley sometimes Its more like a flophouse all the losers and freeloaders in Desert Hot Springs who sit around all day long do absolutely nothing drink water use the free Wi-Fi and the restroom . Lots of them come in and conduct business and do not purchase anything.. The staff are excellent always happy work well as a team treated like family. Great location..

Some days my drinks are blended very well for delivery other days they are complete ice . On a good day this establishment is 5 stars hands down but please get the ice ratio together on the other days 🧐

My drink wasn’t made right so I came back and asked for it to be replaced they took the drink back, didn’t wash there hands and tried to use the same cup… that’s cross contamination and they had really bad attitudes because I asked for my drink to be replaced the right way because that’s what I payed for

Super cool and helpful staff. They were actually very attentive. Felt like they were going out of their way to see if we needed anything while we were wait8ng in the lobby. I wish there werent the homeless in parking and outside. Maybe they could set up chairs without them sitting in them. I guess its not their fault. Hate suggesting (I like being in the lobby of the brand-restrooms come in handy when you drivealot) but Drive through only needed at this location

I try to avoid this Starbucks as often as possible. There’s an inconsistency with the quality of their drinks —I guess it depends who’s working that day. I was desperate the other day and stopped by, ordered a flat white which is on the menu —it’s not like it’s a custom order or off-menu, not only was the milk ratio incorrect, they also didn’t pour ristretto… I don’t know why I even bothered, waste of time, money, and super disappointing.Another occasion I tried order an ice beverage, I thought maybe they just have no idea what they’re doing with hot drinks since they’re in a desert climate… I order a “venti” and they packed so much ice, it’s barely a “tall”. Thanks Starbucks Desert Hot Springs, way to fail. Again.

Had the unfortunate mispleasure of stopping by at this Starbucks for my morning coffee on my commute to work. Placed my order at at 4:45am and walked into the store at about 5am to grab my coffee. My app stated my wait time would only be 3-5 minutes so I figured since I placed it 15 minutes ago it would be ready. Only one drink was done and they forgot all about the other one until I asked them to make it. While I waited for that, I saw one of the employees fully sneeze right into the blenders and keep working as it nothing happened! The Girl working the counter gave me an awful attitude when I brought it up. I’m glad I don’t live in this area so I won’t ever have to stop by here 🤢

Usually packed most of the time, but not now due to COVID. Best option is to order on mobile app and walk-in to pick up. Parking is always terrible here. Not as bad as usual due to COVID. Drive thru frequently backs up to driveway. Makes pulling into and out of parking difficult sometimes. More people using drive thru due to COVID. I ordered on mobile as I crossed Interstate-10, walked in and out in seconds, as drink was ready and I was the only customer inside. I live 2 miles away and it takes about 5 minutes to get there. I place my mobile order as Im walking out of the house and its ready when I arrive.

Caramel frappe was ice and water could barely taste any coffee. Why do i have to pay $6 for ice water. Get your coffee right people it also messed up my stomach the machines probably havent been cleaned. I guess I’m not the only one complaining about the inconsistency in their drinks. I’m ok with mistakes but don’t get an attitude when I need my drink remade. Then not even call it out after it’s remade. This is Desert Hot Springs so they treat customers here accordingly. Glad I don’t live here and only visit. Never going to this location again.See below:So Starbucks wants me to do more work for them to address this problem at the store. How about do a few surprise visits on this location. Instead of dodging a real response by telling me to go complain somewhere else. Very sad.

This location is really great! Sometimes it gets really busy, but the staff always goes above and beyond. My fiancee and I are local, and visit the store daily. Its like a second home to us. And the general manager Julie is just phenomenal. Shes so caring, kind, professional, and efficient. She always goes above and beyond, and truly is a gem within the Starbucks company. This location has seen many managers, and she is by far the best. We hope she has a long and successful career with the company, because she definitely deserves it and has more than earned it!

Came here at 5:30am on 10/3 after sleeping 2 hours and having to work another 12 in the ER. Ordered by mobile and was so out of it I totally drove past the speaker. When I got to the window I profusely apologized after realizing. Yet the guy at the window was rude and said “Yeah well next time don’t skip the speaker,” and closed the window. Super upsetting & Unnecessary since I apologized and admitted my mistake. A crash course on customer service is most definitely needed here. You never know why or what someone is going through, so be kind.

Mmmm today we stay on line for about 15 minutes it seems that people that goes in to order in person are the less important for them because for 15 min the employees completely ignored the persons that were waiting in line. And after finaly they got to take our orders they forgot about mine so i bought a tumbler and asked them to fill it with white chocolate but by the time this employee remember my order it was time for me to go to work so couldnt wait for the white chocolate to be done so yeah pay for something that I didnt received... wow what a great service... I know they are busy but so is the persons that are purchasing I noticed that some of them have to show to work like me... it saddened me but I wont return to this facility anymore.

I’ve always had problems with this Starbucks. Their “machines” isn’t working cause it’s 15 minutes until they close, hmmmm a little too convenient. And they have mobile order available but lock their doors at 8pm which means you have to sit in their always long drive through. Doesn’t make sense that they would have their mobile order available yet you can’t even pick it up inside as instructed. Not to mention that they’re ALWAYS super slow here. I typically do mobile order since it’s suppose to be “faster” but I’ve had it happen multiple times where I’m waiting literally 15 - 20 minutes past the pick up time for a mobile order and watching other people who have just come in get their drink.I’ve also had a few times where I order a frap with no whipped cream plus almond milk and they don’t put whipped cream on the top but add a huge layer of whipped cream on the inside which I usually only notice when I leave the store. Which is a really bad allergy issue that’s happened multiple times.Everything I’ve mentioned has happened multiple times.I also never order more than two drinks either, one for me and my bf so there shouldn’t ever be any of these issues.It’s honestly really sad that I always stop here and KNOW that I’ll have some type of issue here.I would avoid this location at all costs, not worth the hassle especially since I have to call Starbucks customer service to get two refunds since they don’t want to help here.I rarely write reviews but it’s come to a point where something had to be said.

Wowzer. After long wait in drive through, and several minutes trying to order and then correcting order, we approached the window. Not surprisingly, all of our orders were wrong. After a short exchange with the person at the window trying to explain how the order was wrong, we finally just asked for a refund (and quite surprised there was no offer to just make the correct drinks!). Won’t be back. And hopefully someone in higher management can help this location out. It is in a tourist area and those of us who are visiting here have a different expectation for our Starbucks experience.

My daughter thought she was old enough to order her own strawberry frappe and chocolate croissant, what she didnt realize is that she ordered it at different location than the one we were at. I called the Starbucks where she ordered it and they told me to just show our receipt at our current location and they would honor it. Love Beckey! Such a sweetheart makes me smile every time I go. I work in Palm Desert but prefer this Starbucks every time because they’re so consistent with my orders and I never have any problems, compared to some of the others I go to where my orders almost always get messed up or they have other issues (not their fault). I give it a four only because for food they don’t offer the same as other Starbucks, but still one of my favorite locations.

I dont know what is going on with this location--the drive through is 30 min minimum. Even between paying and recieving my drink was 5 min....id understand more if they were busy inside as well, but the inside is closed.Also make sure to call ahead, they run out of things (cold brew) and you wont find out until 20min waiting in the drive through.

I echo a lot of the other comments on here. The drive-thru is slow most days, and mobile orders are not fulfilled timely. I once got chastised by a person working the window that I need to go inside to pick up my order even though I placed the mobile order like 25 mins before showing up to the window, way past the estimated pickup time. And yet people were getting their orders faster just walking in and ordering, so mobile ordering here is a joke from a process perspective, you dont gain any time or convenience. I also once got stuck in the drive-thru because the person in front of me tried to turn right upon exiting going the wrong way down the one-way and the car got stuck on the elevated, unfilled curb, so that was an adventure. Luckily they removed that stupid high curbing.I just wish we had more coffee shops in DHS to help diffuse all the coffee needs from this one, clearly overwhelmed, Starbucks location. I think the majority of the people working here are trying their best get stuff done with the constant crowds, but Ive definitely been to other Starbucks with similar volumes of orders, get stuff done and taken care of much faster.

Okay so I lived in dhs most of my life and Starbucks used to be a great place to go study and have a great time also everytime Ive ordered they got it right. Now this Starbucks is the worst in the valley. The drinks taste like tap water and I get a terrible sarcastic attitude with my disgusting drink. DHS store is the worst! They are about the only store I know that still do not take walk-up orders. Half the time their mobile ordering system is either turned off or not working. According to the unhelpful lady that kept telling me to go outside and get into drive thru she said its been going off and on line all day. After I asked her if someone standing right there in drive thru could ring me up instead of waiting for the drive thru line to let me out of my parking spot, and then get in that long line!! Hire more people, theyre rediculous.

So 6months into the pandemic my Starbucks stores I would normally go to began to close one by one... and I drove out of my way to those stores because of the service I got. So my last choice was DHS Starbucks which was 2mins from my house but avoided it because everytime I went my drinks were wrong the service was bad or the wait was long. Well I had no other choice but to begin my 5 day routine with starbucks being the start of each day at the DHS STORE. my first week I went I had my drink wrong twice. But by the second week these ladies had like a 360 turn around i was like who are these people it was like the manager who is the current owner put his foot down and created these amazing baristas. Each day I went they greeted me right away and even knew my name. I felt like I was home again in one of my other stores I go to in beaumont or Ramona expressway. These ladies have both my drinks ready on time and always ask if they only see one of my drinks if I was getting the second one so they can start making it. It felt so good to be able to come here and just start my day off right .You guys are amazing at what you do and want you to know I appreciate you all for coming in during this time and making sure us crazy starbucks lovers have our drinks each day. This Starbucks has always taken what seems.like a long time to get thru the drive thru service. I will say they have gotten a.lot better and wait times are tolerable. Staff is always friendly but, they also seem to run out of supplies more than other locations, i.e. cups, caramel sprinkles, flavors, etc. But its also the only starbucks.locatrd in DHS. The mobile order option is always turned off, 30 minute wait minimum in the drive thru (don’t understand why being that they are not servicing anyone inside) and be prepared for them not to have what you want once you get to the window. This location needs to hire some employees that know what drinks are, they got my whole order wrong and the young lady had to make my drink 3 times because she didnt know which one was vanilla bean. THEY EXPECT U TO PAY FOR ORDERS AND RECEIVE NOTHING!!! Incompetent and untrained staff. Placed an order thru app for instore pickup. They were out of stock on one of the items. They make me wait while they check in back and talk to all the other employees (clearly the first woman helping me was new and didnt know what to do). I am then told that I can take half the order and just walk away forfeiting the other half of my purchase. Unacceptable!! I say no that is unreasonable just refund me for the whole order. When I say this is unacceptable, he gives me a receipt and a handwritten phone # on the back and tells me to call corporate and all I need is the info on the receipt and they will handle it. Ridiculous!! I spent well over $1k last year alone at Starbucks as a rideshare driver who has to track her expenses and that doesnt even include the fact that I tipped every time!! NEVER AGAIN!! I go there with my kids and sisters and its like our hangout spot. We talk and laugh and sometimes just sit. My kids are on the phone since they have wifi. I love the coffee, the iced teas, and i have even bought my products there like cups and more. Very convenient ordering through the app. The people are always soo happy, and nice. I would rather drive down to this Starbucks than go to the one in Yucca which is closer to me... Spot on with their Frapps and havent run out of anything on me yet~

I LOVE the friendly employees and great coffee!!! My fav is the Coffee Frapichino Venti. I also love the wifi for my phone !
