The place is very clean and welcoming. The staff was very kind and attentive. Especially the young lady taking the orders (i wasn’t able to get her name) The place made my drinks very well and I am very satisfied with the customer service. If i come back to San Diego i will definitely come back.

After today, I will never go to this location. I work at the hospital and Ill drive down the road to convoy instead. I got to this Starbucks after placing a mobile order and they were closed. Thats ok! Whats not ok is that when I tried to get the baristas attention to ask her how to get my money back, she just pointed to the espresso machine like hey I dont have your drink idiot. I just wanted to know how to get my money back lol. It wasnt hard to have a quick conversation. Luckily another worker there stepped in and told me that it must have been a mistake and go down to convoy to get my order. I go to this location often, honestly a really bad customer service experience that I could not understand. Maybe she had a bad day? Either way, her behavior was a little embarrassing and management should know. Never again!!

Didnt catch the name of the cashier working the drive thru but she did an exceptional job at providing horrible customer service. We ordered a brown sugar oat milk latte, that tasted like nothing. This is a drink we get often. So we went back thru the drive thru to explain what was wrong with it. When we arrived at the window she was short and argumentative. She had a major attitude and walked away from the window rolling her eyes and talking trash to the barrista. We were not rude or demanding. Perhaps shes having a bad da, but when you work in customer you have to control your attitude . Ive never received bad customer service at any Starbucks. This cashier should not be in a window or dealing with customers representing the company she works for.

Its Starbucks. Its average. There are much better and cheaper places available, but those places wont make you as chic as Starbucks does. So put on your prescription free glasses and your snow coat for the brutal 70 degree CA weather, because were going to Starbucks! Oh, and dont forget to bring your laptop. I usually only ever order pick up through the Starbucks app. I don’t order at the counter and I don’t order at the drive-through. However, there has been three times where the lobby has been closed and I have not been able to get my order. It’s very frustrating when I order ahead on purpose to skip a line and skip the drive-through only to be sent back to the extremely long drive-through because other people who ordered ahead now have to sit in the drive-through as well. One of the times that I was actually patient and waited for my drink in the extremely long, drive-through line. I was extremely late for work. I hate to be the one to make a big deal out of this or even leave a review about it, but it really is ridiculous. If you’re going to close the lobby, then turn off the ability to order through the app. It completely defeats the purpose of ordering ahead, so you can just pick it up at the counter. if I had known that the lobby was closed, I would’ve never ordered in the first place. I called the store to see what I can do about getting a refund. They gave me a number to call but then they told me sorry for the inconvenience. Sorry for the inconvenience? You took away the only convenient thing that was part of ordering from the store and now you’re saying sorry for it? like be for real. The line literally wraps around the whole building and goes out into the street. when I walked up to the door, I could see through the window that there was at least 10 to 15 drinks stacked up on the counter from other people who ordered ahead.

I really truly wanted to like this place . But almost each time there is almost always something . The people here are rude. My husband made a mistake and ordered my drink with caffeine, not decaf. Most Starbucks I have been to even other countries will sit and remake it. It’s not a big deal.. the woman today at 6:28 in the morning decided to say to me it’s already made and I looked at her and I was like well then can you just take it off because I have to have decaffeinated I’m a high risk pregnancy then she decide to say I can just ask him to remake it. There’s been in since it’s like that or when they don’t ask if your drink is iced or hot and you say oh no I want to get hot because it’s raining not an ice drink when it’s raining and they go through and give you an attitude about it.. bring a daily Starbucks drinker for my family of 7. I really want to like this location because it was convenient. But I rather go out of my way for better service.

Had a great interaction with their team at the drive-through (the young woman at the counter said nice things about my dogs who were in the back seat; flattery does work ;) ).The line was pretty long, but they kept it moving. When I go to this Starbucks it is mostly fine, no problems. But today, my friend asked me to get his mobile order drink for him but I couldn’t find it on the counter. I told the barista the name on the drink and she said she couldn’t find it, so I showed her the receipt my friends sent me. The location was right, but she got angry and refused to make it because the tipping time at the top said 10:30am and it was only 8:40am. She said it made no sense and walked away from me when I started to say it was just the tipping time. She didn’t even try to look it up with the authorization code on the order. I didn’t know what to do so i had to just left without my friends drink. I do not know her name but she had some blonde highlights in her hair, a face mask, and some tattoos. It’s not the first time me or my friends have had a bad encounter with her, she’s always very rude. The other baristas are so sweet, she’s the only one we’ve ever had a problem with.

Ive never had a problem with this location, service is always good, my drinks are always good but today the barista in the drive-thru window was very rude. I asked for a Venti Iced Chai Tea Latte and he gave me a grande. When I told him about it he gave me a disgusted face and told me that was what I had ordered but he charged me for a Venti drink + $1 more for light ice. On top of that he closed the window on me. Every other barista has always been so nice except for this one. Really ruined my mood.

This isnt necessarily about this location, but Im beginning to wonder if Starbucks even puts coffee in their drinks anymore. The past few times Ive ordered it literally just tastes like milk and sugar. 🤔 Some local coffee spots (Shaka and Java Earth are my favorites) are much more reliable with getting a strong coffee to wake you up and get your day started.

Im local to this shop. Staff here do there best. Im bothered by the low reviews fr.seemingly self-righteous inconsiderate folks. Location is small, they have tons of staff to accommodate the online and drive thru orders. They work for minimum wage and currently cannot accept tips from card orders. Be kind to those who serve you. Its a service, theyre not servants. PLEASE UNIONIZE

I recently moved closer to a different starbucks, but I still drive to this one because the staff is so great and friendly(unlike the other ones near here). Its a great nice way to start my morning and they are so accommodating. I especially love the girl in the early morning during the week, I think her name is Chloe. She is so bubbly and great. There’s also never too long of a wait. Overall great service!

The Starbucks is a Starbucks. Its what youd expect. The parking is terrible and there isnt enough for everyone. This location is also pretty tiny so if youre trying to pop in to get a bit of work done over lunch, good luck finding a table and if you do manage to get one, chances are youll be within a foot or two of the person/people next to you.

I love coming to this Starbucks. I guess you can say I am a repeat customer who sits at the same table everytime (unless it gets jam packed). I love coming to this Starbucks especially because of its location and evening staff members. The surrounding eateries give customers here so many choices to choose from, but most importantly, I love the evening crew. I usually come in the evening and stay til closing. They are very friendly to the customers and you can really tell that they all get along very well. Aside from customer service and ambience, unlike many other Starbucks that I have gone to, the evening crew here at this location, does not make its patrons wait for the bathroom or force its customers to go use bathrooms of other establishments. The evening crew are very diligent in cleaning their bathrooms in a timely manner that still meet the needs of its patrons. You know what I mean? Sometimes, when nature calls, you just got to go. The staff cleans their bathroom really quickly! With their great customer service and timely bathroom cleaning, this is the best place to come and work on schoolwork.

The reason I give 5 stars to this location is for the taste/quality of the drinks. I tried a few times from this location and found the drinks are more tasty than the others. I know every Starbucks use the same recipe but somehow this one taste better. This place is clean and has friendly employees just like most Starbucks. They have two restrooms so it is a plus when you need to use it.

The staff at this Linda Vista location when we went last Thurs after a doctors appt, made this Starbucks extra special! They are super friendly, remember your name after asking for it, give you an update on it being only a few minutes, and when something came up that delayed our coffee, let us know with a kind, explanation that they had to refill the coffee machine. And a real, enthusiastic, since, have a nice day!! you can tell that the staff here really cares about their customers!! And gives a little sunshine with your coffee!!

There are certainly enough Starbucks around, but they are not all equal in service or quality/consistency of the beverages. This is the best out of all the Starbucks locations that I have been to in San Diego over the last several years (and there are many of them). The drinks, hot or cold, always taste good, and sometimes they are great. They are rarely too weak (devoid of coffee/espresso flavor), too sweet or flavored (too many pumps of syrup), and have a good balance of foam or milk to coffee. The service, in my experience, also tends to be better than at many other locations. The only minor complaint I have is that they dont serve nitro cold brew yet, but that doesnt stop this from being my go-to Starbucks location in SD!

Ive only been there one time but I ordered a venti espresso drink and there was a lot of liquid missing from the top, I guess the whip cream and toppings melted, but it still seemed like a lot was missing, even if that is the case, I felt cheated for paying for such as specialty drink not getting the full product. The service was nice and quick, I went through the drive through. I recommend taking the lid off and making sure you get what you paid for, I know I will next time I go to this location.

The parking lot was full, I had to park across the street at the donut shop which then forced me to buy a donut which was lovely. Too slow at the drive thru. 9 minutes to get to where you give your order (only about 7 or 8 cars waiting to order), but then it moved along ok so in total about 14 minutes at 8:10 AM on a Friday. There were at least 6 people visible working inside so i dont know what the hold uo was. If there is a order in line thats taking too long they should move that car out of line so the others can be served.

My last visit was in January or February. I used to go here a lot because I knew one of the baristas. I had gone a few times since and my drinks (Ive only ordered Venti lattes made with whole milk, for reference) always tasted weak or like they did not contain any esspresso. I rarely drank coffee during the time of my visits. So, I was expecting a bit of a kick. I was unaffected and was more so convinced that the drinks were made incorrectly. Im not sure if this is a regular occourance or possibly a result of knowing a barista there. Either way I will no longer return to this location. I really hope this was an isolated thing. If not, I hope theyve improved.

This is a drive thru Starbucks, which is convenient if youre in a hurry but need your caffeine. Its a good place to study with a good amount of seating and WiFi. They always keep it clean. When its busy, the employees do a wonderful job getting through the line.

Starbucks is pretty good. Its the BOMBDIGGITY! If they can just either bring the prices down lower than what they are now, or do some special deals, then it would be even better. For example, if a customer comes in and buys a drink, whether its regular coffee or any other kind of drinks or food, and doesnt matter what size,they should be able to get another item, whether its food or drink, whatever the size they want, for free. No ifs, ands,or buts about it. It shouldnt matter if they have the app or not, but if they do have the app, then they should be able to get a third item for free. If they are in the Military or were in the Military and they are retired, then they should get 40% to 50% or more off of the price of whatever theyre trying to buy.

My coffee isnt always exactly how I like it... Everyone doing the Ice coffees has there own version of what 4 pumps of vanilla are. However, even when it is to sweet or not sweet enough everyone is great at redoing it. The baristas are so nice and really care about knowing you and making sure you are taken care of. This is the worst Starbucks I have ever been in my life. I have been ordering Chai Tea everyday online since 10 days ago and walking to this store to pick up. Everyday right after my order I have been calling them that please make my order when I get there because it gets cold and I am not interested to drink it. But everyday it seems they dont pay attention to my calls and keep giving me Chai Tea that is not that hot and it has prepared 20 mins before. I loved it. Vento Carmel frap with extra caramel and double shot espresso alfagado...Sad thing is as good as it tasted. The wet condensation led to it slipping right out of my hands and on to the cement.Only thing I recommend is to put a holder on hot and cold drinks...so it doesnt slip out of your ✋.

This Subway was dirty. The young man making sandwiches had stacks of used papers and bits of food all over his prep board. He was using the same knife over and over to cut the sandwiches in half and not cleaning it in between uses. He was the only worker.
