This Starbucks in 17th and Newport blvd I do like. However, their parking is not the best as I sometimes can run late due to scarce parking at this location. Other than that, i do enjoy coming here because they do get their mobile orders out in a timely manner.

Every time I visit this location I receive great customer service. I would like to thank Kelsi for being such a positive and kind Starbucks employee. The only downside I can think of is the parking lot which is a little cramped.

Went there for the second time and they were super friendly. The girl with short purple hair was very friendly and she went above and beyond to draw a little unicorn on my daughters cup for her . The guy with the face mask that has the day of the dead is also very friendly. Exceptional customer service here

I had to kill time before I could check in to my hotel, so I decided to walk over to this Starbucks. My drink was great and the staff were professional and friendly. Not only that, but I made new friends while waiting there. It made for a great part of my first day in Costa Mesa. I’ll be heading back this morning for more good times.

I come here really early in the morning to get my coffee for a go to work and everybody is really nice. the mornings can be a bit rushed with the traffic and parking, but be patient and you will get a parking spot.

Baristas are friendly and enthusiastic, and I love some added detailed touch here! For mobile ordering they have 3 places with alphabetical letters to sort orders. And added perk, they give samples. Limited parking but only waited 30 seconds for a spot

Love Starbucks... However if the barista is telling you that the bathrooms arent working... With a smirk on her face, Im beginning to wonder whats going on. Usually Starbucks staff is super friendly, this lady was just happy to tell us that we cant use the bathroom... No apology or any indication that she regrets to have to tell us this information.No signs that the bathrooms are out of commission either...Would have happily driven to next Starbucks and ordered my drinks and used the facilities there.Will not be coming back to this location.Unfortunate!

When I cant grind my own beans for coffee at work I will stop at a nearby Starbucks. This store that is near the fairgrounds has better coffee than any vendor on the facility. Now if only this store served Cinabuns, I will never buy anything at the fairgrounds for breakfast. Great WiFi also.

Came in after the fair wanting a pick me up for the ride home. Came in and only saw one barista barring and charging with ease. Was getting busy to the point my partners and i wanted to jump in and help her, but she never lost her composure. Kudos to her!!!! Not one customer was upset they had to wait longer than expected!

I was served quickly, my drink was made for me before I had even finished paying, which I appreciate because I work at Starbucks myself, and my drink was made correctly. The cafe was also kept very clean, and the employees were very polite. You would be surprised how many stores Ive been to that Ive given 1 star. I will definitely be back to this location.

Baristas here are my favorite, always super friendly and helpful. Ive sat at the bar before to study and theyll set your drink in front of you if they recognize that youre the one who ordered it.Several tables have the cordless charging pads, the charge is quite slow but its better than nothing when youve forgotten your charger or theres no ports available.

I enjoy this Star bucks. I went in to enjoy some coffee while I watched a podcast on the patio. I asked them when the patio closed and they said around sun down. Starbucks has great coffee and hot drinks but they have started to introduce some refreshing new cold drinks. This location has limited parking but plenty of indoor seating and free wifi. The service is pretty good too my only complaint would be the bathrooms werent very clean.

Never have I been treated as poorly at any business in my life as I was at this location. I was in California visiting family and friends for a week and was staying in a local Hotel. The room I was in had a broken AC unit so I asked to switch. They wouldnt have another room available for 2 hours, so I decided I would invite a friend to grab a cup of coffee and pass the time as Starbucks was across the street from me. I left all my luggage in the lobby, only bringing my laptop, swim attire, and snacks as we discussed possibly going to the beach afterwards. I walked across the street to the starbucks and arrived about 10 minutes before my friend. I bought a cup of coffee and a water and sat on the outside patio with the few things I brought for the beach (in 2 small grocery bags). I was catching a glare on my laptop and asked a gentleman at another table with open seats that was put of the direct sunlight if its ok for me to sit there, which he says yes. He introduces himself and we exchange formalities. About 5 minutes go by and another gentleman arrives at the table. I again exchange formalities and resume what I was doing. They proceed to step away and ask if I can keep an eye on their stuff, which I said yes as it seemed inconsequential.An employee comes out about 2 minutes later asking if all this stuff belongs to me, to which I respond no, only the two small grocery bags at my feet. My friend arrives minutes later, and sits down at the table. We chat for no more than a minute before he heads inside to buy an ice coffee. While he is in line the two gentleman who asked me to watch their stuff come back. My friend comes back and sits down, and seeing them at the table politely introduces himself and makes small talk briefly before we get back to our conversation. One of the men leaves his stuff again and goes inside. Ive been here for at most 15 minutes at this point, my friend for 5.The man whose table I asked to sit at comes back after 5 minutes and both him and his friend leave. After they leave we proceed to acknowledge that they were strange and I mention how i was about to just move tables before they left on their own. We proceed to talk for about 5 minutes before a police officer arrives out of nowhere and asks how long we have been there because STARBUCKS CALLED AND WANTS US ESCORTED OFF THE PREMISE IMMED8ATELY. I explain Ive been here about 25 minutes at most and my friend maybe 10-15, explaining he is probably looking for the two gentleman who had left. He says they want us gone and has no clue why.We left without issue as we were headed to the beach anyways, simply confused and with the express intent to leave these reviews and contact corporate. Where does a place get off taking our money and proceeding to have us escorted off the property like criminals without reason, or let alone speaking to either of us first? I would have asked for a refund if I didnt think the situation would have escalated and become a bigger scene. Ive never in my life experienced such flagrant disregard for a customer from a company You should be ashamed of yourselves as a company. Ill be demanding a refund before my vacation is done. Its not about the 6 dollars, its about the principal. We didnt so much as speak to a staff member or a fellow customer in a way that would warrant a request from management to leave let alone the police showing up. We were not loud or unruly. We were not there for a long period of time, or even an extended amount of time. We were not abusing amenities provided at the location or there without being a customer.This is getting taken to whatever level necessary to recieve a full refund, a full apology.

With so many people using Starbucks as a place to relax, study or have business meetings, why do they insist on playing the music so darn LOUD. And not just loud, but annoying. Why not music more appropriate to an atmosphere of relaxation and conversation? I swear, the sound level either drives me outside to the patio, or away from the place completely.
