You just have to come here for good coffee, more recently there is Christmas coffee, especially the Peppermint Hot Chocolate, Caramel Brulée Chréme and Chestnut Praline Chréme which I like very much at the moment.

I just tried to walk in and order and waited 5+ mins standing with no service. Doesn’t seem long, but comes off much ruder when the workers are being all talkative and friendly to the people coming in for to go orders 😂 right in front of me, while ignoring me lol. I’m guessing they’re trying to dissuade people from doing walk in orders, but all it made me do is decide to visit Dunkin’ from now on (where I got amazing service btw).I know society is moving towards better treatment of service workers and that is AMAZING but please don’t forget that customer service is still a thing too, y’all 🤣😃

I rarely go to Starbucks because its so expensive. I decided to splurge today, and Im so disappointed! My drink is so watered down that I think I paid for more water than coffee. What a waste of hard earned money!

Unfortunately I gave low stars due to the lack of inconsistency among workers. I frequent Starbucks and ask for the lemon loaf to be warmed for 10 seconds which doesn’t melt the frosting because they do it all the time. This particular worker said no and I let her know it doesn’t melt it. She informs me again “no policy is policy”. When asking why it is followed sometimes and others not she says“Lazy employees”. In my own opinion she is the only lazy employee as the others were accommodating and if they weren’t sure they have asked others with approval. Maybe it’s time for a new coffee spot 🤷🏼‍♀️ Overpriced coffee can be found just about anywhere 🤣White chocolate mocha with almond milk and one pump of raspberry hot is always yummy though!

Chestnut praline creme through the drive thru. Disappointing that I paid over $6.00 for a venti and got the amount of a grande. Also, no whip cream or topping.Edit: in response to your comment... when I go through the drive thru its because I dont have time to go inside. I was already a decent distance away by the time I realized it was so empty, and did not have time to go back through and have them make me a new drink. This was the only way to express frustration and warn others that may be in a similar situation.

I came in and ordered something a tad unconventional as Ive made it up over the years into something I enjoy. My order was taken and I camped out to work on my laptop. About an hour later I went up to get a refill (you can with iced tea if on the same visit) and my order was remembered with every detail! I was pleasantly surprised and it was delicious as always.This is by far my favorite Starbucks to go to.Edit: Still my fave!

SECOND REVIEW-They handed me coffee again and again spilled hot coffee on my hand. How can they justify two cups and not placing a stopper. This is just wasteful and won’t stop hot coffee from being spilled on my hand.THEY GET -2**. FIRST REVIEW THEY JUST GAVE A PHONE NUMBER TO CALL. Customer service is very poor. Will not be going to this location.This location is busy but I’ve asked them to place a coffee stopper on previous visits because the coffee spills in my cup holder. Today was another reason to place a stopper, they SPILLED HOT COFFEE ON MY HAND! Then I asked for a topper and they still didn’t give me one. Will definitely reconsider going to this location.

Waited 15mins in a drive-thru with no cars for an online order just for my drinks to be done incorrectly. Ice Cinnamon Dolce Latte tasted like water with whipped cream on top & chocolate cookie crumble frap had no crumbles & tasted very very chocolatey . when I ordered light! They seem carless and don’t care about making the orders correctly. Go buy expensive drinks any where else but this location.

They just re opened after the remodeling! Quality on point. Its a little tight corner in the drive thru. So if you have a fancy car, be careful! Visible from the main street. Careful in the parking lot because people drive fast. Place looks great for the remodel. And the staff is extremely friendly! The girl at the drive through actually sparked a conversation! It was a pleasant one! Like they care and happy to be working! Definitely nice change of pace. And the coffees were delicious and on point!

I’ve been to this location three times in the last two months, and two out of three times the same person at the register neglected to fulfill my order. Both times, she was about to get off her shift, and both times, when I went to the counter to get my paid for items, the other staff was not very apologetic and I had to wait another five minutes to get my drink/pastry. This last time she was standing right behind me waiting for her own purchases and took zero ownership.This lack of service has not been the norm for my experience at Starbucks, and it’s disappointing.

Really thought about whether I should leave a review or not. At this point, I’m absolutely fed up with this Starbucks. The baristas are careless and don’t pay attention to standard. They’re rude (of course not all of them are) but a very large majority are. I don’t understand how every single experience is just disappointing. I’d rather go out of my way to actually get good service elsewhere. Smh.

Waited 30min for a regular coffee and hot water. When i got to the front and paid they said it will be a couple more min?!? You would think that after waiting in line they would have it done and ready since its just water and expresso shot and hot water. Its not like i order 10 pastries or mixed drinks. Every time I come to this Starbucks it is a breath of fresh air. 🌬 🙌💝 I love every staff member here, everyone is such wonderful individuals. Lauren and Tyler are absolutely amazing people here, they totally made my day today. Dolly is a sweetheart too. She helped comfort me when I was having a really bad morning one day, and she exchanged genuine kind words to help me feel better. To who this may concern: please give these individuals a raise or a huge kudos or bonus: they shine, and are such great people who work so hard. Everyone I meet here is an absolutely gem, 💎 they make delicious drinks, go above and beyond, they give excellent customer service; so be sure to show appreciation and give a cash tip. 😉 A random fun fact of this location, if you come here enough, you may get to meet or encounter a very positive regular who has a fun hat, and he always says some kind words to many of the workers or people in the lobby. If it is an absolute must, I would recommend getting permission from a worker here if you use the closed off restroom.🚗 They have a drive through.For those who still play Pokémon Go there are 3 gyms and 2 Pokéstops which results a cluster of spawned Pokémon here. 😉This location is located in Grand Plaza, in San Marcos, which you can look up in Google maps instead of remembering it is the San Marcos Las Posas location or other ways to remember. There are also really great food from the neighboring restaurants to enjoy.The store and restroom(s) are very clean. There are a couple of close by outdoor trash bins as well as the opportunity to recycle or throw away trash inside on their napkin station.The water is triple filtered and always is crisp and refreshing. (Its better quality and tastes better than bottled water). I ordered a dark roast, it tasted like it had been on the warmer for more than an hour. I gave 2 stars because the barista was friendly, and I think she smiled (although its hard to tell with the mask on).

Worst Starbucks in the area. I recently moved here and have been to this location 5 times, 3 out of those my order(s) have been wrong. Only once I was greated by a friendly guy. The seco d time my order was done wrong the girl who help me had an attitude, was carrying a conversation with the other girl and then asked me to repeat what I was saying, as if it was my fault that the person who took my order failed to say, just so you know, we currently are out of ________. Would you still like that or would you like something else? This only takes less that 10 seconds and would avoid a repetitive customer (and upset, specially after my orders had been wrong a few times). Today I ordered a tea and substituted an item, which yet again they didnt say anything about not having it, my husband ordered a Carmel Frapuccino crunch and they didnt add the crunch. I would advice go to the other location near Home Depot or else where as they have always been nice and greet you with a smile or at least they are polite. This is the only Starbucks that has made me so upset and regret ever going in to.

Seems like your typical Starbucks. Quick service, even in the drive thru. What set them apart from others for me was my drinks. I frequent 5 different locations, and this one gives me some of the most consistently good tasting drinks. My current favorite, the Pumpkin Spice Cold Brew, was hands down the best at this location.

This used to be a great location. There must have been a staff overhaul.The lines take a lot longer the past two times Ive been here, and today when I payed with my phone, the barista gave me someone elses card and said heres your card back!They also got both my orders wrong.It just seems chaotic in there. I will avoid this location for the time being, and will update if I ever go back and they show drastic improvement.2 stars for cleanliness and convenience of location.

I came to Starbucks today and I was in line at 4:30 and I get to finally order at 5:05 and the barista tells me that they have closed at five so they cannot take my order. There was one car behind me and they couldn’t take our order the car in front of me also didn’t take their order put the car in front of that car was able to take their order. I understand they close at five but when there’s one or two cars in line they should finish the line. This is not OK and very rude. Horrible staff and I was in line at 4:30. Not only was I in line but I was waiting for 30 minutes with two cars left horrible customer service!!

I have been coming to this starbucks for a long time and for the first time a child employees was made uncomfortable by the word BABE?. Im done with Starbucks. I begged to use the closed restroom. They refused me. I was dying. The barrista said sorry if anybody uses the bathroom we have to go in in deep clean it each time. I said Thats funny other restaurants dont have to do that I wonder why you do?🤔🤨I started visiting Starbucks less when the menu changed from sourdough English muffins to a much harder to digest hi-gluten whole wheat. They also changed the turkey bacon to something that tasted like greasy bologna. Horrible. Now Im not even allowed to use a bathroom so there is no reason to go in there. No matter where I eat I like the opportunity to wash my hands first. ThankQ Very Little Starbucks in San Marcos!

I can see the Starbucks from my work. My co-workers and I enjoy getting coffee on our breaks but have limited time to do it. On Fridays we have a 15 minute break and I wanted to do a coffee run and buy 4 coffees for my co-workers. Since Im on a time schedule I called this location 125 South Las Posas Rd. to see if I could place a drink order over the phone for pick up. I was told NO they only offer that service for catering. I know that other Starbucks offer this service so I was a little taken aback. I told her my situation and that I worked literaly accross the street and still she was not willing to help me. All she said was We are slow so it shouldnt take that long anyways Well lady if your slow then why the hell cant you make me a coffee order to go?! RUDE. I called the Starbucks off of Rancho Santa Fe and the 78 and they were more than willing to assist me and gave me no hard time about placing a drink order. They even asked me if I wanted to pick it up though the drive through or at the window! I will be sending a compliment to that store for sure.

E.T. arrived shortly after 6 am on Saturday, December 8th, 2018 for a customary royal english hot black tea with skim milk. A scrupulous, well mannered, young gent rang up a large paper cup of steaming hot water with 2 tea bags on the side, unsteeped and small portion of skim milk. E.T took a large wooden table by the window to enjoy sunrise and turn a few pages of a book. 45 minutes later, E.T. purchased a second large royal english hot black tea from magnanimous, fine, lovely young lady. 2 hours passed, minutes after 8 am and E.T. requested change for a twenty dollar bill. A ten, five and five ones for tipping. Surprise, surprise!! Deviant, heavyset Starbucks store manger refused to open the drawer to allow tipping. Apparently, the manager is a professed communist and fails to value tipping for hard work. E.T. wanted to reward employees for excellent, gratifying service to Starbucks brand. Shameful philosophical Marxism shall not be rewarded in the United States of America. Also, the probability is quite large that communist manager adulterated the skim milk clandestinely with a noxious compound. E.T. treated the exposure and concomitant side effects with medication. Starbucks employees work hard and offer gracious customer service. Why are they being punished for sociopolitical, cultural, individual, disagreeable reasons??
