Customers can be rude and take advantage of businesses and its employees but it would be great for this manager to stand up to them and have a backbone to prevent their employees from bearing the burden. It pains me to be witness to such events because it shouldnt be the responsibility of the person next in line.

Like the vibe of this place, employees are friendly, studying here is not a problem. They charge you $0.50 for refills, even though it is supposed to be free. Toilets are clean, there are chargers in the wall and under the long table. Sometimes ppl can be loud during the afternoon, but usually it is quiet.

Starbucks is always a great place for coffees of all kinds, Frappuccinoso, Lattes, Cold brews, Refreshers, and even juices & Water. They have a small selection of pastries all so tasty, as well as a few breakfast & sandwich items.

When we visited during a Sat afternoon, there was no line up.Despite no line up, we waited awhile for our drinks. Even worse, the drink is luke warm.The front door was kept open and invited all kinds of insects inside the store.The outside area was not clean and garbage was everywhere.Not my usual Starbuck standard.

Employees are courteous...unfortunately the drinks arent great. Most of the time they lack the sweetness I seem to taste in every Starbucks. I thought it was just me but my s/o and sibling have had the same complaint as well as small mix ups when you seem to order anything other than a basic drink...store is well kept bathrooms are pretty clean for a place everyone uses as a pit stop just wish the drinks tasted better with the amount Im spending!

Im no fan of Starbucks and only go here when I have a gift card. There is never anywhere to sit. The employees are okay but tend to somehow mess my order up almost always. I should probably tell my mother to stop giving me gift cards for here.

Love this roomy inside Starbucks. We went through the drive thru. Lots of shade while waiting for our food. The weather has been so hot so the shade really helped.I sure needed that tasty non fat 5 shot grande latte.Thanks. I needed that.

So i come in this Starbucks ever another day or so because I work in the area and as a black male Im starting to feel bullied by my experience. What bothers me the most is the barista never actually call my name when the order is ready or even make direct eye contact with me. No greeting no smile nothing. More importantly my order is consistently wrong. I mentioned my order being wrong a few times before but i felt like i was being more of a nuisance instead of receiving a positive customer service experience. I have watched other customers get greeted upon entry, get their names called and promptly receive their orders. Im curious to know why my experience is so different.

Petrol is at more than $6.00USD. when a cup of brew is worth more than a gallon of petrol, its not simply inflation, its the corporation gouging the almost empty pockets and purses of hardworking Americans, the vast majority of its patrons living paycheck to paycheck.Secondly, its the nefarious way Starbucks advertises its products. A slice of banana nut bread is not a loaf this is the deceptive marketing ploy to make stupid people think theyre getting more for their buck. A cup of coffee at Starbucks can run up to three or four USD but at a few local ma and pa cafes and coffee houses it can run between .97 to $2.00. This is not Algebra. The same coffee for less. And go by your protein boxes at Walmart selling the same exact items for two and three dollars less. The same slice of banana nut bread is $1.50 not $3.50 or $3.75 or whatever. The more you dummies buy at Starbucks the more its owner and its corporate fat cats get richer and richer leaving the rest of you counting your change because you privileged morons just gotta have your Starbucks.Dry up and be people of honour.When will people wise up? Support your local smaller coffee shops. Lets put Starbucks out of business.

This is a good Starbucks. I always go through the drive-thru line. The drive-thru lines are always pretty long, but it moves fairly fast, And a good part is theres a dispensary right by the drive-thru line so it smells great.

This is a nice clean locale with lots of open space and parking.The staff is friendly and engaging. The staff doesnt just call your name and forget about you. They actually make eye contact and ask you about your day etc. which is a nice touch!It does get busy in the morning, but its because people just love this Starbucks so much. I actually was not bothered by the slight wait as I observed all of the staff working hard and cranking up quality drinks. All hands on and deck. No slackers here. The hot chocolate, was worth every second btw.Theres a lot of regulars. I do find it fascinating how the staff knows them all by name. I mean, how can you remember so many faces?The welcoming environment feels like a throwback to the now extinct neighborhood cafes of old and I honestly love every minute of it.

This location used to be great. Employees used to be friendly. However, since the restrictions of Covid-19, the new rules at this location seem to impede the experience at this particular location. First, no matter the time, the drive thru is priority. The drive thru line is typically to the dispensary, but going inside for take out will NOT save you any time. Even if your order is a black coffee, expect it to take at least 5 minutes. Second, you can try and save time by ordering though the mobile app, but the employees will still cater to the drive thru before addressing their online needs. And lastly, employees used to be friendly, but that is no longer the case. Employees only wave and say hello to other employees who come in on their off days. Most likely because they cant handle the stresses of day to day operations. I used to follow this store on their Instagram page, now I am disgusted at myself when I resort to commercing at this establishment. I wish this place the best, because my business is best suited elsewhere.

I just wanted to take the time to say that I appreciate the employees working this shift on Aug 5th at 9am. I wished I knew the employee who helped take my order this morning. I had an appointment at 9am and saw that the drive thru was busy so I decided to go inside. I wanted to order my dogs last Puppaccino and the employee was so nice and compassionate. You hardly encounter such true kindness from strangers. I too was a barista long ago so having to talk to your customers with simple “small talk” not knowing what type of day you’re having is a tough read. I was totally okay until I had to order my puppaccino and she genuinely made me feel heard and comfortable just with her simple kindness and great customer service. My drink came out perfect and it’s the little things that make it all better. So thank you for making one of the toughest morning just a tad bit more bearable.

Starbucks is a daily run for our our household. Sometimes there are shortages in their supply chain and they let you know right at the drive-through but overall they are well stocked the product is good prices vary some are costly a little bit non-competitive but still Starbucks is a mainstay for us to visit daily. One of these days they will learn to have a value menu for people on fixed incomes and give seniors a break that are on fixed incomes. I also do not like the fact that you using your debit card can’t add a tip to the barista‘s in the stores and that is for every single Starbucks I’ve been through Los Angeles County and orange county. Not everybody carries cash to put in the tip jar but we appreciate the hard work that’s a barista scout troop so fix that error in your receipt and money collecting system.

I want to thank Karity (like Charity with a K) for helping me with my coffee order. The drive-through employee gave us an awesome order experience and a laugh with Pawpachino (sorry if I misspelled this ) and a fun memory with my close friends and dog! She helped me not feel embarrassed when I forgot the size names of drinks and offered a snack for my puppy who was tired from a long beach day. We got a caramel apple cider drizzle and a treat for Pookie( which he enjoyed )I wish I knew her name and would love to order here again!

Poor customer service.I work in the food industry as well but this Starbucks location has rude workers. My 1st visit I try to engage in conversation with the cashier while I was thinking of what I want to order and the person working at cashier give me attitude and I felt rush to order and I just assume maybe they were just having a bad day. (By the way, they were not busy at the time)Then a few weeks later I visit again, ordered an item and the employee gave me attitude when I asked them a question about my item.Now I have visited this location possibly at least 10 times (because its close to CSULB, where I go to school) and now I dont believe that someone is just having a bad day because almost every time I visit I have a bad experience at this location.I would recommend going to the VONS Starbucks!

I will be contacting management about my experience in this location for sure. I NEVER treat myself to coffee out and just make it home and this experience was a great reminder to keep doing so. I ordered my soy latte in the drive through. They didnt give me a receipt upon payment and something told me to check the sticker on the cup as I was driving away. It did not say Soy. I had to turn around, park and wait in line again inside this time. I told them Im very allergic to milk so I need it remade. She apologized, gave the cup to a guy to remake. I watched him pour it out down the drain and proceed to remake the drink in the SAME cup!!! As someone who has very bad dairy allergies, I cant drink that. They were so busy that the coffee sat on the counter for a good 5 minutes before she even thought to give it to me. At this point, I was already late so I just took the coffee and left. Gave it to someone else since I STILL couldnt drink it. So frustrating! Im just done with corporate coffee. They nearly ALWAYS mess up something.UPDATE: I did contact management and they sent out a $10 gift card which I have yet to use. Likely wont, but I guess it was the thought?

So when I told them this was with no whip I felt like he he got upset like it was my fault. I am sorry your workers cant read. Yes I can complain I worked at a Starbucks for over a year. Easily the most disappointing Starbucks I’ve ever been to. The workers were friendly but It looks like it was sloppily put together in 24 hours with zero charm. I was looking forward to a nice coffee shop to walk to and enjoy reading a book for a few minutes but there wasn’t any music playing and the cold concrete “look” they were going for had me leaving right away.I sincerely hope they plan on changing out the cheap ikea stools at least, there was no “warm” feeling at all and I’ll only be going through the drive through if necessary for this location.Cmon guys, you can do better than that.-disappointed

I love the change that this Starbuck’s made after moving from their original location across the street. Orders are commonly correct, staff are friendly and willing to help, the atmosphere is great, and they have a drive thru. Some people may have some issues with the time it takes to get some orders (because of the drive thru), however I have no problem waiting a minute or two longer to get a good drink. Would recommend!

I love this place!! It is closest to my house, so its very convenient! I have a very particular way that I like my starbucks drink and this one ALWAYS delivers, even through the drive thru! My last trip was particularly special, I didnt get the name of the barista that helped me in the drive thru but she had on a sunflower face mask and she was GORGEOUS!! This time around, I added a drink to my order at the drive thru window and this barista was very sweet about getting it for me and making sure I had everything I needed! This was nice for me, as I have been to other drive thrus and the employees arent ever anywhere near as kind as she was about adding something to the order last minute. This store is very clean from what i can tell and the baristas are doing a great job following guidelines during this pandemic. ♥️

Im so glad they moved from the cramped hard to find parking location to this one. Lots of parking and now theres a drive thru. I get their egg bites -- they dont look great in the display but theyre really good! The banana bread and other breakfast items are yummy as well. Service is fast and friendly.

This Starbucks is one of the busiest Ive seen. During primetime, the drive-thru line stretches around and bleeds onto Atherton Street.Nonetheless, the group of baristas here are fast, efficient, and genuinely nice. My drinks are always accurate and delicious.

Employees said they open at 4:30 am. Sign said they open at 4:30 am. Employee at 4:40 am only held up 5 fingers. Went to talk to the manager once they open and explained that both the online and posted times have been changed but not updated. They open at 5 on the weekends and 4:30 on the weekdays. I still believe the situation could be handled better, like simply posting the correct times on a paper to the side or opening the door and explaining the situation. She also offered to open the doors early for me.

I just went here before work, and when I was trying to add a new card to my Starbucks account, I told the guy that he could go tend to something else I would be a couple minutes (there were no people in line) and another lady comes ups to me and rushes me about a receipt I told her I had already told the man before that I didnt want one she was just there to rush me for no reason and once I told her that I already said no she immediately had an attitude, unfortunately she was the one making my bagel and when it was ready shes didnt call my name out, rather she just tossed me bagel on the counter and walks away. I stood there to let all of them know how mistreated I felt, the bagel was barely toasted... will not be returning!

Edit: raised rating from 1 starThe crazy cold AC appears to be fixed. No longer 50F and Ive been back three times with no need for outer wear! Assuming this is the norm, its a cool Starbucks ... and the staff is great!Previous Edit----Ive come at least three times where the air conditioner was blasting. First time I let it slide. It happens. Second trip I noted it was 63° outside, 64° today. Both times it was literally warmer outside the store in the shaded patio with a calm breeze.Fix the AC!!! What a waste of energy and totally uncomfortable as a patron!Ignore the rest of this until AC is fixed.Original Post--------------------Great improvement to the Traffic Circle area and much improved over the Starbucks that used to be on corner of PCH & Ximeno. Much of the staff transferred from the old store, plus they added probably double the number of baristas to help! The many improvements include basic things like the fact you can access the store no matter your direction of travel. Second, theres parking! (old store had like 3 spaces). Plus a nicer/calmer patio and more spacious interior with long worktable + power! Lastly, theyve added a drivethu... so if youre just running errands its now a quick in & out.

Today, I ordered a cookie crumble and the cashier who was so busy talking to someone else rang us up for something totally different and we couldnt figure out why we were waiting 15 minutes only to find out she was not listening. Thank you for the free additional drink but please pay attention next time. A cookie crumble doesnt rhyme with caramel crunch. Also when it states extra on tur side please follow directions. I normally tip very well but this is the first and last time Ill come to this Starbucks. Top of it all I go to drive out of the parking lot and I dont know if it was the person was angry they messed up and had to make me a free drink but they didnt put any coffee in my drink. I am extremely angry and when I tell them they messed up no apologies and she the manager got angry I wanted my refund.

Parking is horrible, and the worker behind the cashier box wasnt even paying attention to my order, she was yapping away with her workers so loud and wasted 40 seconds talking and I was standing waiting patiently for her to shut up to take my order and when she did she, didnt even hear what I asked, I asked for a vanilla bean w/ extra caramel and I didnt get my order right, than the young lady had the nerve to say I didnt ask for extra caramel when I said it loud and clear. Staff rude and look down on anyone who does not fit their idea of a customer. Im disabled so I came in w a cart and I was immediately treated w eyes rolling, and rudeness. The girl got y order wrong including my order for water on the side. I ordered it would ice. I was given extra ice and made to wait for it even though I asked for it w my latte. She was very rude and practically threw it at me. This was possibly one of the worst Starbucks ever especially when it comes to customer service. Everyone that works in this place is a joke, especially the barista Sean. Employees like this is what will make them go out of business. No one should ever be treated how this place treated us. Worst Starbucks ever for u to place a mobile order to. Ordered 2 drinks, both were made wrong. I even asked the barista at the window, is there even any cream in here? She said, if its on the sticker, its in the drink ok, first off how is there cream when the drink is as dark brown as it can be. Second, the other drink clearly has caramel drizzle and there is none on there. Every time a mobile order is placed, I end up with a completely different drink. Oh, and mobile orders take longer for them to make than to just walk in there. Worst place ever. Rather walk yo vons and get what I actually pay for

I just moved here during covid and I think they take it way too serious so I started going to other starbs in the Long Beach area. MAJOR MISTAKE. First place, coffee was watered down, second place made us wait outside and then couldn’t even make a latte because the steam machine was down!
