It was fun working there, meeting new friends and workers and keeping the store clean was my thing. Im glad to hear you guys are doing okay and I want to give a big hand to Zach and for both jacobs or helping me get the job fully and enjoy my time. I was in the shop returning something at the UPS Center and shopping and met the delightful Jacob who was so nice and patient. Ask for him in the tech department. He is great! 1/21/23

I went to print my restaurant menu and Lady at the printing station doesn’t even know how to print. And she was hesitant to help out. Wasted my 30 mins and left without even printing. This location always has some problems.

I had a quick turnaround order for posters to be printed for an event my company is hosting.The night before they were due, the large format printer went out. Eli, at the store called me. He explained the situation, apologized, and asked how much leeway I had in the timeline for when I needed the order. Unfortunately, the answer was not much.Eli worked with another store to get them printed out, and kept me informed of his progress and timeline.He also re did one of my posters because once it was mounted, he was not satisfied that it was perfect.Eli showed true dedication, and concern with ensuring my final product was something that would showcase my brand the way I wanted, and be proud of.He’s also a genuinely kind person, who obviously takes pride in his work.Staples corporate, if you read this, take note. You have an exceptional player on your team. I’ll be back with any other printing and marketing collateral needs I have.

Not really good customer service. Wasnt really busy. And nobody seemed to want to help me out to buy a keyboard. So I guess Ill go down the road to best buy!

Charges a 300% express fee for same day printing...even if the the print shop isnt busy...just because its a way to make more money.--------------------------------Me: Id like to get a color print madeStaples San Rafael: When do you need it?Me: End of biz today...thats 5.5 hours from nowStaples San Rafael: We will have to charge you 3 times as much for the job because its an express orderMe: Do you have other printing work that will take the entire day to print?Staples San Rafael: No. It just our policy.Me: But I just did a printing job at Staples 3 months ago and they did it same day and didnt charge me an express fee.Staples San Rafael: Its our policy.Me: Its your policy to triple your price if a client wants same day turn around in an empty print shop?Staples: Yep. This time in the San Rafael Staples my experience was better. While in the past I have always had poor customer service at this store, this time I was pleasantly surprised. A supervisor named Amir went above and beyond in helping me locate a new ribbon for a ten key adding, putting it in the machine and testing it for me. I had been in Office Depot and asked a sales associate about his and he had said he wasnt sure if the ribbon they had was the correct one.

Staples is just another Big Box retailer, just that they sell office supplies instead of mattresses or TVs. In other words, the staffing levels are the same here as just about everywhere else.I give em five stars because: 1) They always have everything I need for my office; 2) Their Printing Center is slightly more accessible than that at FedexKinkos; and 3) Their Computer Repair tech is superb--and cheaper than anywhere else in Marin.Oh, and 4), parking is always easy. Theyre also a 3-minute walk from the Transit Center if youre on foot or cycling.

My work uses this place for supplies. Customer service is non existent. There is one person at copy/print area, one at IT support and one at the register. 15 minutes standing in line and someone finally comes to help me. A woman near me asking for help said shes been asking for 10 minutes. There are a total of 12 people in this store, and I watched 3 of them walk out after 5 minutes because of no help.Things are overpriced. Their inventory system is always wrong (I asked if they had more of a certain item, because I needed two of them, the person scanned the item I needed, and the scanner said 3 are in store yet only had one on the shelf. I asked this person if they could check if there were two more in the back. No I wont. They must be broken. They then turned away and started helping someone else.) Item was opened on the shelf but I needed it for my work. Well come to find out the item was returned because it didnt work! So to get my works money back took 20 minutes total.Use staples online but avoid this location like the plague.

David L, the front office customer service rep is the man for the job. Its a big store, its well stocked with your necessary office supplies. Maria and Harlan are excellent managers of this location. If you need help, the staff is very proactive upon assistance.

Id give this place five stars if it werent a Big Box store. But this Big Box store has a hometown feel. I come here frequently and dont mind paying a bit more for good service, clean and uber organized aisles, and enough cashiers so I dont have to waste my time in lines. Gotta mention Flory, the nicest staff member Ive met.

I walked out with a printer because i was having problems and hoped the printer would help me explain my problems and someone would help me and do something. so then i brought the printer back into the store. they had some cool toshiba notebook computers here that worked good. i am trying to get up to 200 google reviews. that is why i am writing this review. what kind of retirement do we have in america

You need to ring a bell for online purchase pickups. Otherwise youll wait forever. However once you ring the bell a very helpful employee takes good care of you.

I came early to the Staples in San Rafael and was greeted by a smiling cashier who (at checkout) verified that I had the right printer ink cartridges. Very quick and friendly service- easy to find what you need.
