I visited this Staples store on Lincoln Blvd and was provided excellent customer service. My surge protector quit functioning and I wanted to purchase another identical one to replace it. That product was not in stock and I was guided to an alternative product after Asst. Manager Rene took time to scroll through pages of surge protectors trying to find the one I preferred. In addition, Staples employee Matthew, assisted with fixing my Staples cell phone app to show code for rewards accrued after my phone # inputted at check-out did not show available Rewards dollars. Cashier Sam was also very sweet and helpful. Really incredible experience here! Never expected such helpful people!

Everyone who works here is helpful and delightful. They have to put up with crazy people wandering in constantly (due to the city of Los Angeles being totally dysfunctional due to incompetent political leadership), yet despite this, the Staples employees are always friendly and upbeat.

I went to Staples to buy 5 items, standard stationary items. Staples did not have a single item that I needed. I ordered all items from Amazon which was easier. Also Staples have raised their prices and are now VERY expensive.

Friendly and knowledgeable staff, brought in a bag to shred, $1.00 per lb.. cool I didnt have to do it. Parking lot, large store with great variety of all your office, needs and more. Lots more. Easy to see off main street.

This place is great because of the guy at the Print and Marketing called Renee. I was there for an hour doing some computer stuff and he really helps people out.So many rude people come in with a mean attitude and he is so calm and helpful to them regardless. He treats everyone with kindness and great service. Such a rare worker. Give him a raise!

I had the best experience this morning at Staples in Venice. I needed to print invitations for my daughters upcoming birthday. I was helped by a wonderful associate, Ashley who was dynamic! There was a heavy flow of customers who needed all kinds of help in the Print Center and Ashley handled everything and every customer with Stellar service. She was able to get my invitations printed within in an hour, Beautifully and even helped me decide on some of the smaller decisions. In this fast paced world it’s so nice to receive genuine care and customer service which will definitely keep me a recurring customer. Thank you Ashley and also checked out with another wonderful customer service rep Vanessa. Thank you Staples for remembering the importance of hiring valuable representation who serve with excellence.

If I could give 10 stars I would. Jorge, the GM, went above and beyond at the print center! He figured out work arounds to all the issues I had on my end with sizing the images and on top of that was super friendly. Best Staples I’ve been to by far.

Customer service is poor. The employee I spoke to was just flat out rude. I asked why the price for self printing was much more expensive vs. ordering online for them to print for me (I didnt have 24 hours to wait). My tone was neutral. Direct quote from the employee: I dont understand what youre asking. Youre making me want to hang up on you. Then she hung up, without a word. Luckily I just called the other two Staples in the area, which are both much cheaper and worth the extra 5 min drive for helpful employees and pleasant, respectful interactions.

Tried to print business cardsGot a call in the morning to say they didn’t work out well and when the line got cut they didn’t call me back. I tried to call them back but it goes through to phone operator.Went to the store and the business cards were not good quality as there was a white line around the edges and some of the design was cut off which didn’t show in the proof.Didn’t even get to keep the samples to see how I would change it next time.The staff were also trying to convince me it was all fine.I’ve had much better experience at staples in Vermont than this store

The iPostal1 pick-up service here is poor. You have to wait for unreasonably long periods to get your packages and sometimes they dont find them at first and then they have to go back and check again, taking up more of your time.I also use this Staples to return Amazon orders, and that works fairly well.2023-07-25 update: I went to pick up mail again. Some staff I interacted with were not equipped to help me well. It took me 15+ minutes to pick up my package (the store was not busy).

I buy things on Amazon because of places like this. I went in an hour before closing and was the only customer there. Most employees were standing in a circle chatting. One tried to be helpful, but didnt know where anything was (maybe new?). I needed white cardstock. They didnt have any. So I tried to get a comparable paper, but the prices were mislabeled. Their paper selection was mostly empty yet still disorganized. While I was checking out the employee was in a Bluetooth call with her friend the whole time which was pretty strange. The store just had a downfall of society feeling. I will stick with Amazon.

Did an online order for a printing job, it was a fairly large job so I asked them to call me several times to make sure I get a proof and it is done correctly. I got no phone call, so I called them a couple of times and every time they were rude and acted like they didnt want to help me. They never went over the job they just said its done and ready for pickup. Obviously the whole thing was done incorrect and the would not give me a refund . Luckily I was able to call my credit card company before the transaction went through to get my money back.

For comparison I took a booklet to Staples and a neighborhood little storefront copy shop.I needed two copies of a booklet of about 45 pages. I went to a local copying place and they did the booklet in about five minutes at a cost of $10.91 including tax. Then I went to Staples at around 10 AM. The man behind the counter said they would call me when it was ready. They texted me at 4:45 PM. I went to pick it up and the booklet was not stapled. The man behind the counter (a different person) said something about the machine being out of order and stapled it by hand. (The staples are not straight but it seems to be ok.) The cost was $15.77 which included tax and an express guarantee charge of $3.32. Im not sure how Staples defines express but five minutes seems a lot more express than nearly seven hours. I emailed them to ask if they would consider refunding the express charge but I never heard back. Anyway, now I know.

I ordered online to pick up in store. They promised a confirmation email that my order would be ready in 1 hour. After 2 hours I never received any emails. I happen to go by the store running an errand to someplace else stopped in to check on my order. Not only did they have difficulty locating it, once they found it the order came up of 5 pieces out of a total of 9. I still have not received a confirmation email.

RUDE AND ABSURD SERVICE! I purchased an item here. I do not return things here because in Good Faith I always keep the item. When I attempted to return an item I was only given 75 percent of what I paid 15 days earlier. I was treated like I had stolen the product ...Alex and Spencer the Store manager were just RUDE! Office Depot much better!...if customers dont have an enhanced customer experience why shop at the Store!

They completely screwed up laminating ID cards I needed to make for my daughters soccer team. Replicating them is going to take hours. The person helping me knew what I was laminating, and I even told him to be extra careful as the picture could easily move around. Needless to say that he wasnt careful and I am paying the price.

Terrible customer service. These people arent happy. Ive been arrogantly blamed for their mistakes in the Printing & Shipping department on several occasions now. Its one thing to make a mistake and correct it. Its another to make a mistake and aggressively blame the customer. Going to Fedex Kinkos in the Marina for my printing needs in the future.

I use Office Depot’s print and scan services frequently and I assumed Staples would be comparable, but I was so wrong. The printers and scanners Staples has are dinosaurs; I haven’t seen anything like them since the 90’s. I needed to fax a 3 page document (such an elementary request) and was unable to do so at this location. When I tried to scan the pages on the flatbed scanner, the machine defaulted to sending each page as an individual fax (are you kidding me?) There was no option to override this setting and fax a multiple page document. Then, an employee suggested I try the document “feeder” on the top of the machine, which is supposed to have the ability to scan a multi-page document one page at a time. But of course, it jammed immediately, and the machine destroyed my document. Please, do NOT waste your time or money at Staples…just go to Office Depot instead.

Tried to print on their printer. Excel Document was too large and crashed printer. Asked lady if she could print it. She printed it for me. Charged me an extra $7 for convenience fee. Talked to manager (Alex) and told him what Happened. His response was that he sees other people printing on it. Left and went to Staples south by LMU. They happily printed my document when it failed to print on their self service printer. No fee. Avoid this Staples at all cost

A great store. Everything you need for the office area can be found here. Highly recommend to go out there and check it out. Its very sad that some of its stores are going out of business. I was at Staples today and as Im getting ready to pull into the parking lot on the parking lot of Staples a car rat rear-ended me there wasnt much damage to my vehicle but the security guard working there was totally out of place I was really shook up from a car rear-ending me and she had no regards to the fact that my car just got hit and she was very mean belligerent very foul mouth and I want to report her this accident took place at 4 in the afternoon on Tuesday and is that the Staples on the corner of palm and Lincoln and the people that hit me to hit me from the rear they were totally at fault and this security guard kept on mouthing off very unprofessional using curse words and profaned language at me all worried about me moving my car when I just got in an accident I was so upset she could if she wanted to do something she could direct traffic to the other driveway just had an accident and I dont like people calling me racist names shes a black security officer and she was using racial racist names and when LAPD got there I told them about her I said it wasnt these young kids matter fact they were not acting mean or nothing they were at fault and they were very nice to me but my problem was is that security that black security female and when lapds there shes not mouth mouth and off say when LAPD got the Los Angeles Police Department got there she didnt even come outside what a coward and I told them about her by her mouth and off.
