Their return shipping services are awful, and no longer offer UPS Drop-off.Both packages were from Amazon. One was denied because it was for UPS (thats understandable). However, the other one was for any service of choice. The staff member only looked at the barcode and said it doesnt look like theirs. There was no attempt to scan the return to verify.Im not sure if the large package was daunting and the staff didnt want to make any effort for us or the Amazon package was somehow not eligible for their Amazon Return service. But this was dreadful service!

NEVER USE THEIR CRAPPY LOYALTY PROGRAM. Three different Staples employees deceived me. I bought $65 in supplies and the cashier said if sign up for their Rewards program, and give them my email and phone #, I get $20 off my next purchase. I did that. Then she told me to get the $20 I had to download their app. I spoke to two other employees, one of whom said maybe you could do this on their website as well. I went home and did both: downloaded the app and registered on their website. After I did both there was no $20 credit. So I called the store and someone named Ryan said I would only get the $20 credit if I had downloaded the app while I was at the store. He offered to help me by giving me a customer service number, Im guessing so I could get more runaround and lies and confusion. So I got three different and confusing explanations, none of which may be true. I think these employees are trained to harvest personal information by deceiving people about bogus $20 rewards. DO NOT BELIEVE THEIR LIES. DO NOT SIGN UP FOR THEIR CRAPPY AND INVASIVE REWARDS PROGRAM TO HARVEST YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION.

I always find what I need at Staples. I am a Realtor so I never know what Im going to need. They are always friendly and try to figure out what I need. Thats nice!

I am usually very positive about dealing with Staples, the products and the staff but on this recent visit there seemed to be only the two staff members.I stopped the female as she was heading for a break and she did assist me.The male was not at all pleasant.Both were shabbily dressed.

The on-line ordering and then subsequent pick up at my local Staples was VERY cumbersome and costly. The Staples web site led me to order and then pick up at the local Staples the wrong ink cartridge for my Canon printer. When I returned to the local Staples to return and correct this, I was told that since the order was placed on line, it had to be returned by UPS and the local Staples could not accept it. That return process took just to get the UPS label to send it back took 4 days.That delay, plus the 4 miles I drove to the local Staples all in vane, was costly in time, and gas money. NEVER AGAIN WILL I ORDER FROM STAPLES. AMAZON IS THE WAY TO GO AND GET IT THE NEXT DAY ITHE PRIME FREE SHIPPING.

I normally dont give one star but I am because of this employee that you have I dont remember her name but she was tall and slender and she worked yesterday which was May 3rd in the morning. I came in there expressing to her that my son had just died and that I needed help printing up the mortuary papers to have him cremated and to help me send them back to where they came from in Arizona and she just said that I had to do it myself and I asked her for help on my phone to help me learn how all she did was asked me to put my phone down and turn it around for her to see and she tisked with her tongue at me I proceeded to inform her that the reason why I come to Staples is because theyre the professionals and I dont know how to get documents off my email so that I can sign them and then resend them through the email she started to say I dont appreciate how you were trying to make me look like Im not trying to help you and I said will you are the professional thats why I come here because I dont know how to do it Im a senior citizen and Im not tech savvyshe continued to go towards the other employee who seemed like a manager a short Hispanic lady with glasses and told her that she doesnt wish to serve me anymore so I told the young lady who she told that to yes were having a personality conflict can you please help me and the tall girl just rolled her eyes at me and said something under her breath that I did not hear but I thought it was insubordination to be honest with you if I was on a job I would have instantly gotten fired from my poor customer service so the young lady with the glasses came over to the machine and explain to me that now we all have to do it by ourselves so we proceeded towards the machine and the lady explained how to do the touch screen and then we got to the point where it needed a credit card and thats when I was done Im like all I have is cash and Im not going to use a credit card for a 50-cent copy piece of paper at which time I just walked out my feelings were very hurt over the fact that I had just told her that my son died and I needed to send these papers and she acted with no compassion noheartfelt Im sorry how can I help you I really dont believe that she belongs there Ive never been treated so poorly at Staples Ive been there numerous times and I know I havent been there for over a year and it was explained to me by the lady with the glasses that its been over a year since you guys switched over to self-service and you dont print up papers for us anymore thats all thats all young lady had to say I would describe her race but I dont want to sound or come across like a bigot if she doesnt have the time to explain or the fortitude to help maybe thats not the place for her if she doesnt want to do customer service and shes going to get upset every time somebody needs some help I will not be going back I had to drive 22 mi just to the Staples just to be rejected for the help that I needed I dont think Ill be going back to Staples for their copy center anymore due to the fact of poor customer service I actually drove back to my hometown and hadUPS do it. AND THEY ACTUALLY GAVE ME THE COPY FOR FREE BECAUSE MY SON HAD JUST DIED. STAPLES AS MUCH SCREENING AS YOU DO ON YOUR EMPLOYEES I THINK THAT YOU NEED TO DO PERSONALITY ASSESSMENTS ON PEOPLE SOME PEOPLE ARE NOT MEANT TO BE CUSTOMER SERVICE HELPERS

I came on December 21 to pick up a print order and the person at the counter didnt care to help me at all she just told me to use the self service printers and when I was unable to use it. She told me that its because the document I sent over had expired. I even tried to show them the email and they didn’t even bother to look.I left without my document and left very upset because the employees did not care to help me at all. I was so upset that I left a one star review.Edited on 12/22/23I came in on December 22 and was greeted immediately by Jasmin/Jazmin and she located my documents right away, they were at the counter not the self service like they had told me yesterday. She was very great and had a smile on her face the whole time. Was also apologetic for what happened yesterday. Because of the employee that I spoke to on December 21, I ended up paying for two copies of my document when I only needed one. I did not care much that I paid for both because of how great Jazmin/Jasmin was. Thank you so much.

I few days ago I went to the Palm Springs, Ca. STAPLES store to purchase a few items.I easily found what I needed and went to the check-out location.I was quickly greeted by an associate by the name of Bryon.He was helping another customer at the time, yet he took the time to let me know that he’ll be right with.I’m not a fussy customer, but Bryon’s greeting was very nice.Another associate finished up with the customer he was helping, and quickly offered to ring me up.His name was Gabriel.Right out of the gate, after seeing what I was buying, he politely asked me I had the STAPLE’S app, because these items are on sale.I did have the app on my phone…..but being the tech genius that I’m not, I started to fumble with my phone.Now this is when the cool stuff happened.Gabriel politely asked for my phone, which I gave to him.He quickly found my app, signed me in, found the coupons that I needed….all the while talking me through the process.I was a seamless transaction and great being helped by Bryon & Gabriel.Two associates that are truly an asset to STAPLES team.Oh….I almost forgot…..with Gabriel’s great customer service skills……he saved me almost 50% off my purchase.

I have enjoyed shopping at Staples since I was first introduced to them in the mid-nineties when I oversaw the purchasing of office supplies in my management position at a Los Angeles based hospital.
