Went in today to get their 2 pairs for $79, I havent been to the eye doctor in a long time.THANKS to the 2 awesome ladies that helped me Ashley and Elva they both were so polite and professional. Answer all my questions and made me feel comfortable!!!.Will definitely recommend!!!

Setting up an appointment was fast and easy, their online portal makes it even easier allowing you to pre fill out information. When I arrived the staff was very friendly and super helpful and accommodating of my two children. I was helped by Ashley today and she hooked me up with discounts as well as being able to walk out of the office able to see better! It was fast and painless even a bit fun! I am super happy with my received services and that I was able to walk away with contacts while I wait for my frames and supply of contacts. She really did an exemplary job and seems to take pride in her work as well as wanting to do everything in her power to make the patient the most happy they can be when they leave! 10/10 best optometrist Ive been to in all my years of poor eye sight (from 7 years old to now)

They were very busy when I got there. Jake and Ashley were able to get me in, get my exam done and get me my new glasses in less than 90 minutes. I watched them take care of numerous customers without making anyone wait for service. I was glad I could walk out with a new pair of glasses today. I will be back for sure.

WORST place ever, I wouldn’t even give them star! You don’t even see a doctor it’s via Skype or what they call telemed, no physical doctor will see you.Very unprofessional, Ashley was scratching her head and flicking whatever she scratch from her head (disgusting! who does that in front of a customer).I was charge for a contacts club fee ( what the heck is that) was never informed of it at the time of being seen, had to call them to get a reimbursement.Went in to pick up my contacts, the lady that helped me was VERY UNPROFESSIONAL, ASKING FOR MY PH# and DATE OF BIRTH across the room while there was another customer there. THEY NEED BETTER CUSTOMER SERVICE! NEVER GOING BACK!

In extremely displeased with my appointment today. When I called to schedule my appointment, I was very rushed and asked them if my insurance covered my exam. The man on the phone said yes. Go to the appointment, the girl taking care of the exam also confirmed that my exam was covered. After the exam I was told Id have to pay $75 for everything even though I was told twice my insurance covered everything only to find out it was out of network. I was lied to twice and had to pay for a piece of paper... do not recommend going here unless you want to be lied to and money stolen.

Not impressed. They act as if youre interrupting them from their phone and apps. They push you through YNt 3 or 4 different stations. I felt as if I was an intruder into their calm quite nothingness. The glasses they offer were magically not in stock even though thats what they advertise for. I was upsold because all the glasses in the promo were magically not in stock. I have real insurance and I wish I would have used a REAL optometrist. This place is marginal at best, their employees suck and couldnt wait to get me in and out fast enough to get back on their phones. 2 stars is a gift

BE WARNEDThis is not a local shop, as you will see by checking the website. There is a local phone number, but it will route you to (best guess) the Phillipines. I was told I could bring in my prescription to get same day lenses, but I would need an appointment for fitting. I said it was a bit urgent and I would just take whichever frame they had, so they said to come right in.I was a bit vision impaired so I sent a trusted member of my close circle. They were surprised someone showed up who didnt want an appointment, which seems to be the only same day service they offer.Also, the buy one, get one frame are marked up to twice the normal amount you can find at a more locally owned office.

The “technician” cracked my glasses then blamed it on me. The manager did nothing to help. Then after spending $400 and telling me my glasses were ready, I drove from out of town, They couldn’t find my glasses. I had to leave and try again the next day. They don’t have a phone number you can call. I spent lots of wasted time driving and calling. Because the lady cracked my glasses, I wore sunglasses for two weeks. Then after being a customer for ten years, they asked me if my name was Debra. The manager also said she didn’t remember me from last week. We chatted for 20 minutes and she was the one who helped me. Terrible customer service. Will never go here again. Awful experience. Beware!

Im leaving 1 star because there like car sales sharks for every penny! The asm Ashley and Alexandria wanted to just charge me the most, and I dont think they are fully trained, charged me taxes which they tried saying because I was buying a Frame that I should be charged taxes which in the past when its a warranty and my own lenses are being placed in a new frame with the discount price no taxes.. its not like I left with a brand new frame that 50 people tried on and doesnt have a prescription.they even had to highlight because they didnt think id understand. Ill definitely let the cumunity know not to do business here, Thankfully I wont be back.

My wife and I were astounded at how fast the eye exam was done. I have been wearing glasses for 16 years and this exam was very professional and through. After, an extremely helpful manager named Josafat helped us with picking out frames and lenses. We were the last customers of the day and he waited for my indecisive wife to choose her frames. He was quite funny and patient. They have a huge selection of glasses, as you can see by the pictures, including safety glasses and sunglasses. I would recommend Stanton to anyone looking for a relaxed atmosphere and no high pressure salesmen.

I walked in and didn’t wait more than 10 minutes before they got me in for my eye exam. It was very simple, easy, & the doctor is virtual. Lexie the technician was very friendly, helped me get set up and did the first half of the eye exam. Gloria had a great attitude, she was super informative about what my scores were and meant! Both helped me in choosing my glasses. Overall Stanton optical was clean and efficient.

I went to Disneyland over the weekend and in a rookie move lost my glasses. I have a pretty low prescription but I get really frequent headaches without them. I came here Monday at 4pm as soon as I got back into town because I am going back out of town for a week in Wednesday. The manager, Ashley, made a point to make sure I was able to pick up new glasses before I left again. She was super helpful in helping me order three pairs of glasses in total and saving me money while doing so. I actually said last time I came to Stanton (different location) and was told after I made my purchase that it would take two weeks that I would never come back. I really appreciated that even though this is a chain store, that she cared about my needs and made it happen on such a tight schedule. Now I can be comfortable on my trip.

Bought glasses a few months ago, polycarbonate lenses.Bought insurance on them.I went in today and was told that I had to pay $156 to get a scratch fixed.Why pay insurance to pay again for problems.Very rude lady was there.I will never go back, their guarantee is worthless.I advise you to find a better more reliable and honest source for your eyeware needs.Totally unsatisfied.

Waking in I was immediately greeted. Jonathan helped me look around for glasses and recommended some really nice designs for my face structure and also took in what I wanted for glasses. After I selected the glasses that I wanted Claudio help enter and explain details of the glasses which made sense a lot to why my vision is the way it is. Overall the staff was nice and friendly and the environment was clean. Highly recommend this place to family and friends.

Today I had an emergency… my sons Lens fell out of the frame I called his eye doctor but they had closed at noon, he can’t see without his glasses and it’s the only pair we own, he was flying out of town I walked into Stanley and was greeted by a young gal Carissa I explained why I was there for she said we normally don’t fix glasses not purchased with us but she said let me see what I can do… I offered to pay she said no it’s fine …. Worst experience possible at this place. I was told one thing when I picked up my glasses and to come back within 30 days if my vision changed and they would make a new pair without having to pay, the time came and they deny saying that and wanted me to pay for eye exam, and glasses all over again. Left my old glasses at the store as they are useless, I will make sure to never return and tell my story to this small community, worst experience. If I could give a no star thats what it would be.

Accidentally lost my glasses during a rafting trip and these guys were able to help me the next day. Claudio was phenomenal! Very helpful and friendly. First off they charged me for the appointment when it was advertised as free. Second they were about to charge me for light reflection until I asked why it was so expensive, then they only took it off when I asked. I ordered them December 17 and every time I called, they kept delaying my order saying that they havent arrived. It is now February 16 and they said it is still not close to being finished. They are false advertisement, dont come here! youre better off going some place nicer for better quality service. They probably write their own reviews because I do not understand why they are rated so high.

I took my mother in law in to get her very first eye exam. The eye exam was easy and the staff were very friendly. When it came to picking sunglasses we were assisted by Claudio and he made sure all of our needs were met. I just moved to Plumas Lake. I normally go to an eye glass center in Roseville finding a new eye center caused some anxiety for me but I do have say it was a good choice. The people are extremely welcoming.there was no wait time. The associate who helped me made the process very nice explaining the steps as I went through it. The Dr was extremely patient and didn’t mind repeating steps until he felt I was comfortable with everything. Gloria the branch manager is great very knowledgeable willing to make every effort to explain all of the options yet not push you to buy extras that are offered. Had 2 appointments scheduled for 10:25 & 10:30. Weren’t seen until after 11:00 for both exams. The examiner Sofia was attentive and helpful and was concerned with the wait time we were experiencing. There were 2 people qualified to sell glasses. While we waited to be helped with purchasing our glasses, 4 people walked out due to lack of service. The manager Gloria spent an exorbitant amount of time chatting with a customer about Arizona. The other qualified person spent 2 hours trying to sell a pair of safety glasses. Meanwhile, ignoring everyone else in the store. After chatting about Arizona, Gloria declared she had a “now job” and went to the back even though there were still multiple customers waiting to be helped. After 2 hours, we finally gave up.. without glasses and the sales people were STILL unconcerned. Sofia was the only redeeming part of our experience and the only reason they received 2 stars.

My wife needed simple information and wanted to just duplicate her previous order from a few months before. She and I (2 separate calls) got passed around to approximately 6 different people. No one seemed to know anything or do anything (call center, not the store). The Yuba City store was unable to be reached despite the initial calls occurring 6-12 minutes after they opened, and we were told the employees would need a couple of days just to return a call.

Masks are required, just like everywhere, temperature is taken, and seating is spaced out for social distancing.We had an appointment, but it still ran a little longer than I expected, probably due to covid. He explained everything clearly from cost to exam to guarantee. I couldnt see well out of the readers and assistant suggested it was a matter of adjusting. I know from experience that when the prescription is correct you see clearly immediately. I asked for a refund as I did not want to come back. She said I had to have another appointment with a doctor. I agreed to it but then decided I didnt have it in me to return. I will be driving all the way to Elk Grove to my old doctor who is amazing. Im currently trying to get a refund but it has required many, many calls, and a filing with Wells Fargo to contest the charges. Very convenient!I had to reschedule my appointment because I was running late and was able to have the eye exam rescheduled just two hours later than the original time.The technology used to perform the eye exam is remote telehealth. A qualified technician is present at the exam and assists the remote optometrist or ophthalmologist to administer the exam.I found the technology to be thorough and efficient.After the exam, I was assisted in the selection of the glasses by a very helpful and knowledgeable staff. Everyone was friendly.My particular staff member was Gloria. She did a great job helping in my selection and when it was time to pick up the glasses about a week later, she was able to quickly make the minor adjustments needed to fit the glasses comfortably. My husband and I spent over $500 earlier last year on glasses. We were pretty happy with them. We had a lot of money left in our FSA account at the end of the year, so we scheduled an appointment for 12/21/21, the last day to use the funds. We each picked out glasses and went to get written up for our order. The guy wasnt focusing on the order details and asked how much we had in our FSA account. He rang us up, and when we got the car, I realized he had charged us $75 a pair (three pair) for lens warranty, which he never mentioned and my FSA wont reimburse. I went back in for my refund, and they said they couldnt do it that day. After the New Years weekend, I called the store to ensure the refund went through, and no one ever answered. I called the customer service number. The guy had me hold, then said he called the store and they were processing my refund. He specifically said he spoke with Joe (a name I had mentioned). I already knew Joe was not working that day. When I called him out on it, he hung up on me (corporate customer service). I called back, and finally got someone who started the refund process, and I got an email when it was done. Even with the refund, I spent over $1000 there in the two trips.A couple weeks later, we get text messages and emails that are glasses are done. We drive down from Paradise, an hours drive, and they only have one of my husbands pair of glasses ready. We asked them if they could mail them to us when they came in, as we didnt want to drive back. A few days later, the glasses came in, and they called us to get a credit card number to pay the shipping!!!! They would not ship them to us unless we paid the shipping. We paid the $9.99 shipping.When the glasses arrived, they had the blue coating on them. My husband had only asked for the blue coating on the other pair. We looked back over the receipt and see they charged us $85 for the blue coating he didnt even want!!!Let the buyer beware. Check your receipt carefully before leaving the store. These guys are sheisters!

Great experience at Stanton. I appreciate their later hours so that I could make an appointment after work. I called over and got a same day appointment, had no wait time before my exam and they had a very good selection of frames to choose from. I was helped by Shelby and Althea, both of whom were so helpful and friendly. I was there a little past closing time once I had chosen my frames, but I never felt rushed or like my time wasnt valuable. I cant wait to get my new frames tomorrow and I will definitely be back for some sunglasses in the near future. Thank you again Shelby and Althea for a great experience!

You get what you pay for. I would say horrible customer service but everyone is nice besides the manager. I should have known that the manager (Elliot) had horrible customer service when I walked in and he was arguing with another customer because she didnt want to pay because she got the wrong prescription. My glasses were not only very late but when I was promised compensation by the manager due to other factors in my experience I was told that he no longer was going to do it I would advise you take your money elsewhere. I am now in contact with with the district manager about this situation. I regret even giving this place a shot because now it is a huge headache.Edit: corporate didnt help us either. We got the same run around. I will never be back to this location! I would recommend you do the same.

I had an appointment today on the 26th of August and showed up at appointment time of 10:30. I was sat for 40 minutes and was eventually sent home because of technical difficulties. This is totally understandable, but what disturbed me was the treatment of the front desk worker named Sophia. I watched multiple male doctors yell at her for computer issues that were out of her control. One of those doctors dropped the r-word, whether this was directed towards Sophia I am unsure. But sitting in that waiting room and seeing the mistreatment was truely disgusting and I hope she finds a job where shes not only paid but respected. Walmart eye care was a better environment and they had roaches.

I got my glasses about a year ago and due to my own doing and mishandling my glasses I broke the frames! I came in to Stanton wanting a print out of my prescription. As I was browsing new lenses I noticed my frames were still in stock! Jake was more than willing to pop out my lenses and place them in the new frames! I’m over joyed with my experience today. Update 8/11/17, I received a automated call I had an item to pick up. Yea finally! Maybe they got my mono vision contacts. I went to pick them up and they were the exact same subscription that didnt work the first time. I told her I was done trying and asked for my Rx. I was told I would need to make an appointment with the doctor to release my Rx. That would put me back to literally starting all over. I walked out. Update-7/26 I was emailed a reply that my case was resolved and that I had picked up my contact lenses that very day... I have not been in their office for weeks. First they have no record of me, now they concoct a story that I picked up my lenses. How about a personal phone call apologizing and a refund .7/18/17.I give it one star only because the people are very nice. I went in on 5/1/17 for contacts. This was my first experience regarding contacts. I was told there was no one to help show me how to put them in and to make another appointment. I came back in when I was available and shown how to put my contacts in. The contacts did not allow me to see clearly. I was told they take a while to adjust to your eyes and that they do not make contacts for astigmatisms. They suggested mono vision contacts and were to order them for me. 1 month later I walked in to see what the hold up was and was told there was an order for them but no prescription and they would check into it and call me. I have since found out that they do in fact make contacts for astigmatisms. It has been 10 days and no word. I just want my money back. I have since made an appointment with a reputable eye doctor and do not trust the exam I had at Stanton so decided to start over. Very unfortunate for our town.

Glasses never did work quite right. Someone told me about Stanton and I paid 60% less than the local place for my exam and the results were far superior glasses that work absolutely perfectly.
