TLDR – Great people who will work with you in a timely fashion to get through whatever issues your technology is forcing upon you. We work with them in a business setting and moved from another external IT service and have not looked back.We are using Stan and his team to take care of our companies’ IT issues and setups. Some of the things they cover for us:• Account creation (Office 365, G-Suite, Etc)• Managing account permissions, settings, and groups.• Laptop Managemento New Hireso Software administrationo Virtual connections for troubleshootingo Equipment examination and repair• Covering IT issues for all of our US offices (we have locations from East to West coast of the US) and even assist with company in London, UK.• Updating old processes• Setting up future projects they can assist with to streamline what you need.• Researching programs, data collection, or anything else your company might need.These are just a few of the things they assist the company with. Stan and his team are always active and open to chat about most issues; they are excellent with returning inquires even if they do not have the answer immediately on hand.I cannot say enough good things about this team. They have helped us through many projects and problems that would normally take months, and were able to solve them in weeks instead. If you are currently using another external IT service and are having worries/trepidations, reach out to STG to see if they can help. They probably can!

My lab top had water spill damage Over it and I brought it into Stan’s Tech Garage to take care of the issue immediately. They listen to my concerns and handled everything in a very professional manner. I highly recommend coming to them for any of your laptop needs. It only took about a day to get fixed and they did a thorough inspection and made sure everything was working properly. The staff is super helpful, understanding, patient, and professional. I was highly satisfied with their services and will definitely be coming back to them.

I have had many computers over the past 30 years, and have worked with many a repair businesses on several of those computers. Never have I had the absolute pleasure of working with anyplace that even remotely compares to Stans Tech Garage. They diagnosed, repaired and made fully operational my computer which had a failing hard drive and impacted Windows OS. My computer runs better than it ever has. The price was very fair; Their shop, well-designed, clean, organized and professional. Even if you live 50 miles away, that trip will be time very well spent. Most places engage in a lot of trial and error, guesswork and randomness. Not these guys: They get it done right, the first time.

Everything about this business, including the skilled personnel, contributes to create an atmosphere of easygoing professionalism. They quickly diagnosed the problems with my laptop and returned it to me on time in its original mint condition within the price they’d quoted, good as new. After my experience there, I can’t imagine trusting anyone else to repair and/or restore the precious contents of this device that I rely on so heavily to communicate and share information. I couldn’t have asked for a more satisfying conclusion to what could have been a frustrating situation. Go!

I have been to STG more times than I care to admit with various laptops over the years and I HIGHLY RECOMMEND them for all your computer issues. Whether its a small thing like figuring out how to backup your laptop or something big and dead, they got you. And they support local dog rescue and always have a dog or three in the shop. Pro tip: Make an easy appointment on their website before heading over.

I dont like to rate low small businesses. But, I have a homebuild, which I understand is more difficult to repair. But they held onto my computer for a few days, ran it on through tests after putting down the deposit. They didnt offer any real solutions. Offered one quick fix that I was able to do at my home for free but offered to do it on their end for hundreds of dollars. They wanted to move all of the software onto another storage device and priced it well above what it shouldve cost to do. Once I got home, I also found that they damaged the chassis. The solution they also suggested ultimately did not work. Would not recommend for other homebuilds.

I couldnt be happier with Stans Tech Garage. My Mac laptop needed a new battery, and Stan took the time to run tests, to make sure the battery wasnt a dud from sitting on the shelf. Its that attention to detail and just... great communication thats going to have me coming back and recommending him to any of my friends who need help :) And getting to pet the dogs in the office is just another huge perk.

This place is legit awesome. I dont have a computer with me down here but i needed an external flash drive formatted to NTFS. They did it super fast and were super cool about it. I highly recommend this place. Next time my boss is having issues with her computer Im bringing it here to save me the headache lol

Oh my gosh! This place has wonderful service! They have used laptops for sale and gave me a great price on a 2014 MacBook pro that was STACKED with programs and RAM. They held it specially for me too when my debit card / bank had a problem with the purchase which they apparently never do! I will ALWAYS go here for any tech needs! And there is a cute dog! Ive used their services on two occasions this year and couldnt be more pleased.A week ago, I upgraded from Windows 8.1 to Windows 10 and then couldnt log in.I had used a pin code for 8.1, but 10 wouldnt initially allow my pin code. After 5or 6 long phone calls with Microsoft, they determined that my only option was tore-register Windows and lose all of my data.I called Stans and brought my desktop in for repair. They got around the log inissue within 1/2 hour without losing any data and said that there would be nocharge for their time !!!They are the best !!!

I bought a used computer from him right before starting school for graphic design. It was a really good deal and loaded up already with all the applications I needed. Highly recommended!!

I first discovered Stans Tech Garage when I had an issue with my phone. They dont do phones, but they referred me to Hollywood iPhone Repair, where I had a great experience.So when I had a computer issue, I decided to go back to Stans even though I dont live or work that close to it anymore. The trackpad on my laptop was acting up and the tech and I agreed that the problem was probably battery swelling. They replaced the battery a few days later (had to wait for the battery to ship to them), and they gave me back my laptop. They didnt meet the time estimate they gave me, which put me in the annoying position of having to hang around West Hollywood for a few hours until I could pick it up, but whatever.Trouble was when I got it back, the trackpad problem was still there, and they hadnt properly secured the new battery, so I could feel and hear it sliding around inside the laptop. I called up Stans to tell them the problem wasnt fixed, and they told me to bring it back.When I brought it back on a weekend, the person working said I should come back on a weekday when his supervisor would be in. When I brought it back on a weekday, the people working didnt know anything about my problem, but they took my laptop to re-diagnose it. They said Id get a call in 2-3 days.After at least 4 days of radio silence, I went back in. Again, it took some time for them to figure out who I was, then a guy went into the back, found my laptop, and told me there was nothing wrong with it. I took it home. Trackpad problem was still there. Battery was still sliding around inside.So I finally gave up and went to another repair shop closer to my house. They actually listened to me. They secured the loose battery and replaced my trackpad same-day. I wish I hadnt wasted so much time and money dealing with Stans. But still, Im grateful for the tip about Hollywood iPhone Repair. They were great.EDIT: Just a small note to address STG’s reply: I did not say “spazzy.” If that’s in the notes, it’s because that’s how the tech described it.

Stan is great. Answers questions completely, gives good advice and most importantly, fixes whats broken. Weve also dealt with Tyler who has done an excellent job for us. These guys are honest, reliable and respond quickly when needed. Highly recommended.I signed up for their 5 remote fixes for $250. It was a great investment. I call them as needed and get great service.

The motherboard in my old Dell XPS laptop stopped working properly and Dell wasnt willing to help, so I found Stans Tech Garage on Yelp.After calling and speaking to Tyler, I brought the laptop in on a Sunday and got a rough estimate after the tech did some basic diagnostics in my presence. I paid a ~$50 fee up front and I was told that I would be contacted every step of the way with the laptop being ready Friday (5 days).While the service was great, there were a couple issues that prevented me from giving this place 5 stars. I wasnt contacted every step of the way..I had to call in to find out what was going on with the laptop. I never found out what the final amount was going to be until I had to pick up the laptop (while the final amount was decided half way through the process).I got a text on Thursday saying that my laptop was ready - 1 day ahead of schedule!All in all, great work...came through during a tough time. Make sure you find out the final price as soon as you can if thats going to be an issue for you, though.Id definitely take my laptop here again.

I was referred to Stans after another repair shop said they would take a full week and might not be able to fix my laptop after my son dropped a tiny amount of water on it. Stans got on it right away, fixed the computer, and replaced the screen for FAR less than a new computer would be, and within two days. Like many people, I live by my computer, so waiting a full week for a maybe was not an option. Stans is quick, efficient, professional, effective, and good problem-solvers.

This place is awesome! My PC has been ridiculously slow and crashing for a month and I finally decided to take it to a shop. I was greeted by Jimmy at the front desk who hooked my computer up right away and started to diagnose the problem. We discussed what would be best and he suggested a M.2 SSD since I do a lot of gaming. Jimmy went above and beyond and overclocked my PC as well and this things running faster than it ever has! 10/10 would let them touch my PC again!

Jimmy and the guys at the Tech Garage did a great job diagnosing the issues I had with my Lenovo laptop. Took time to explain options and ensured that I was satisfied with the outcome. I came from NJ on a trip and my computer was really acting up. I am tech-savvy but due to the circumstances of my trip, I didn’t have enough time or patience to diagnose the issue myself . I would certainly recommend the garage for your support needs.

My laptop was acting up and randomly shutting off, so I thought it was a battery problem. It turned out to be a problem with the battery and hard drive, so they were going to install an SSD hard drive and replace the old one. A couple months later the laptop had similar problems, and after a while during Covid, the entire system wouldnt work. I took it to a different repair shop where they told me it wasnt worth trying to fix. Basically, the solution didnt fix the problem. For the money I spent, I wish the laptop wouldve been in working condition a lot longer than a few months.

Stan is a true expert, who can explain things to us civilians in a way we understand. The Garage is a great place for any IT equipment or software issues --or to be guided thru a new purchase. Stan is also a great friend to animals, and always has a couple of rescue dogs at the shop who will give you a friendly wag!

I was visiting my dad who is in assisted living in the area. His PC was clearly broken. I felt SO lucky to have found Stan and his crew at the Tech Garage!!! They happened to have an old PC that would work for my dad and set things up so he would be less-likely to create problems for himself. After learning that I lived hundreds of miles away and was often trying to help my dad via the phone, they had a solution to that, too. These guys are knowledgeable, customer-oriented, and happen to have the cleanest shop Ive ever seen. If you have to wait for something, you can pass the time at the Whole Foods. I had an external 2TB drive crash on me and was looking for a place where I could walk in and actually ask a real live person some questions about this drive and a couple of LACIES that I have. Youd think that wold be an easy thing to find. Think again. Almost everything is MAIL IN and I did not want this. Not only is Stan a real live person who actually owns the store, but he was super helpful on all fronts. I was already sold by my conversation with Jimmy --on of the techs--on the phone. And when I met them both in person, I was confirmed. Generous in time and expertise; only a $49 diagnostic fee; and genuinely caring. Highly recommend Stans Tech Garage across the board !

I brought a gaming laptop in with a physical problem: a broken hinge. I was offered a singular fix: buy an entire new factory hinge and laptop top. $245. The employee did not want to look at my computer, offered curt responses and could obviously care less about my desires to not spend $245 on a physical problem. He did, however, offer me some refurbished Apple garbage from a pile of them he had at the desk. I did a Google search, found a guy @ La Cienega and Whitworth who actually cared enough to keep it overnight and managed a physical hinge repair. The solution offered to me by Stans was something I could obviously do myself: go to my computers website or Ebay and order a new laptop top. Nowhere near 5 star
