They truly help everyone with love and compassion, free laundry services, food, food bank food pantry, medical all human and animal needs they facilitate love compassion and services to their best ability with funds and finances extended to them on behalf of everyone else 💜💪🌉🌈🩵🙏

They are mean evil people. Do not donate to them. Donate to Glide instead. These people treated me with utter contempt. Everything is given Ina punitive disrespect ful manner.

Im allowed 2 washes per day. Staff refused me my 2 washes already atleast twice in the past and again today. This is ridiculous. I get 2 washes because Im doing laundry for a family of 2 so the policy is I may do 2 washes per day. Staff were rude to me acted like I asked for an unreasonable accommodation or something. Generally the women here are working are incredibly rude. Today it was Walter, Eva and another staff member that were so rude and refused my 2nd wash. Staff at the higiene hub have rude attitudes every time Ive been here and then amongst themselves are friendly and but behave like clients are a bothersome annoyance. Theyre also supposed to clean the washers and dryers before and after each use but they dont. About a week ago as I was loading a washer I had to stop because I found pins in the washer while and other misc trash was also in it.

Solid place for lunch (i havent tried breakfast) and getting a list of shelters nearby (super important info!!!). i havent tried their other services. they have a ton of beautiful volunteers.unfortunately, they shoo you off into the rain. it feels pushy, telling me to move away on 3 occasions in one sitting. first when at the door, then waiting inside, then waiting outside. you just gotta learn the walk-flow

These people are great I mean really amazing from providing something to eat and a place to get clean and also wash your clothes to providing a shoulder to listen to your problem safely without having to worry about repercussions they are go too! Especially Veronica in guest services super amazing! You can go there with your kids too it is family-friendly!

Moderately reliable for a small hot meal twice a day. Do not waste your time trying to get support or services here.Update: I have witnessed repeated instances of ableism from the staff here and personally experienced violence at their hands. Not recommended for anyone with any form of invisible disability. The general culture is violent and authoritarian and harms vulnerable people who come there for help and have no history of criminal or violent behavior.

For 11 years i was a good client here. but i had to request an audit late last year because $300 went missing from my payee account. i have never received any kind of help on this. they handed me papers my own payee printed out (my payee is the suspect here so i cannot believe they thought that was fine.) and since i never dropped it, they are now discontinuing their payee services rather than do an official audit.so while i believe the people serving food and doing security are good Christians, the people in the social service center are thieves.

The St Anthony foundation is the best run and most organized organizations I’ve ever seen. They have tons of services for the un house Sf including free clothing, hot lunches, job training and a computer lab. It’s a must if you are down on your luck!

Today is. May 28,2017. My brother and I are regulars at St. Anthonys dining room and ordinarily have only good to say. Yesterday my brother, who generally stays home while I get lunch for him due to his cancer and mobility handicap, found a toothpick in his food. We wrote it off as a fluke. Today he found a (LARGE-SHARP PIECE OF PLASTIC) that if swallowed could hurt, if not kill, him. Tomorrow we will attempt to talk to someone to make them aware of this. We took video & pictures, in hopes they dont try to point fingers at us took blow us off or some such thing. Were poor, not homeless, but close, and some staff tend to treat both classes of the population as dreggs of humanity to be ridiculed. Well see tomorrow and keep you updated. Till then ( BE CAREFUL ) if you eat there. Especially if you have children or elderly.

Please never, ever donate money to these people. They treat the homeless like animals. I had occasion to land in a homeless shelter after an accident. My first experience with these folks was my asking for help carrying a lunch tray to a table. I provided discharge paperwork from general hospital ER describing a left rib fracture and torn rotator cuff in my right shoulder. Nope, not good enough, you need a doctor note or you carry your own tray. So, no lunch for five days while I get a note from a doctor, nice. Naturally I immediately contracted lice at the shelter, because, of course I did, the people that run those places are disgusting folks. So, my second experience with the people at st. Anthonys was their refusal to work around a doctor appt- meaning I had to choose between lice infested clothing when Im too injured to physically reach about a third of my body, or go and get an antihistamine and reduce the chances of my broken rib complicating into pneumonia because coughing deeply is nearly impossible. Folks treat stray dogs with more respect. Every interaction with these people involves the peeling away of yet another layer of dignity by way of transaction.

This morning as I am sitting and waiting to utilize my clothing Voucher some Caucasian lady ( late 50s) goes into the clothing area for Men and grab what she thought a guy would like and Rushed them all to the back.

3 black women staff try to take my food.try not to let me in.10 years 5 months lung cancer.e.mail sent world.told me to shut up .tell them they are fire again.don.t know why you re hire them.fire them again.before world pull all the money. glide... rich pull all the money out .shut down .everybody fire.they use the room to store thing. All the rich like watching run around at st.anthony.don.t die from cancer.the rich was there.saw the whole thing.how staff treat me. E.mail bill gate etc all. The cures advance tech etc.everyday.

What a experience...I volunteered for the day it was fun and the food was amazing tasty full of flavors balanced fresh salad fresh strawberries and persimmons ..lemonade....it was outstanding I wish I could volunteer.. in making this delicious feast..all the guests were respectful and thankful...I will return again next week to volunteer..and eat..thank you for this experience
