Clean decent room.Friendly staff at the desk.My TV doesnt work, room right across elevator hearing ding all night when the doors open.No shampoo, 2 body wash and conditioner, no lotion. 😐For being a platinum status member, expected a slightly better room assignment.

We had a great time. A big thanks to Crystal and Linda (front desk) as well as the bartender who were all very polite and helpful, despite our late night arrival. Provided genuine, friendly interaction w my whole family while we were all enjoying our wine and desserts in the spacious lounge/bar area. Thanks again for the hospitality Crystal.Welcoming staff and a clean and comfortable relaxing atmosphere. Comfy, clean, and nice sized rooms as well.

My husband and I stayed at this hotel as a guest of my brother-in-law and sister-in-law as we were there for a family celebration.The complimentary breakfast was nice, and the room was very clean. We felt comfortable and safe, and the staff was very nice.My husband and I are returning at the end of May for a family visit.

Charged $800 for 2 nights for a “king suite” that is really just one room with a divider. TV’s are unable to have devices plugged into them, TV remotes don’t work, telephone preset buttons don’t work, and the one TV in the room is in an awkward spot on a dresser right in the middle of the room divider so no good view no matter where you sit. And it’s bolted down to the dresser so you can’t even adjust it. 0/10

Normally i would deduct 2 stars if the pool AND the jacuzzi are out of order because that is the main criteria whenever we book. But since everything else was great, 4 stars are given. Super comfy bed, nice, clean, big and quiet room, walk-in closet, giant TV. The mini bar fridge needs to be reset every 2 hours or it will automatically shut off, which was weird and inconvenient since we had to store some perishable items. Breakfast is, well, not so good but that’s typical of American Continental style buffets. Great location and nice gym open 24 hours.

Attended a work holiday party on 12/9 at this hotel. Its a very nice hotel! They had the fire pit going outside which was lovely and the bar was on top of it, it was a large crowd too!! Big shout out to Breanna Mayer who was so sweet, made everyone feel welcomed, and made sure everyone was pleased with their drinks. Shes by far the best bartender, ever!

I wish I could give zero stars for my stay during the thanksgiving weekend. I booked two rooms with one for my parents. I expected a comfortable and pleasant stay as what I have experienced with most Marriott properties. However, I encountered several problems that made my stay unpleasant and unacceptable.First of all, the toilet in my room was constantly running and leaking water. I reported this issue to the front desk and requested a repair. The maintenance staff came and fixed the toilet, but it broke again soon after. This made the bathroom very uncomfortable to use.Secondly, when I asked to change rooms because of the toilet problem, the staff was very rude and reluctant to accommodate my request. They acted as if I was bothering them and made me wait for a long time before they gave me another room. They also rushed me to move my belongings and did not offer any assistance or apology.Lastly, both rooms (including the one I was moved to) were not clean and quite dusty, and made me cough during my entire stay. In addition, my mother saw two cockroaches in her room - something I do not expect from any quality hotel, let alone a Marriott.I am very dissatisfied at the quality of the rooms, and even more disappointed at how the staff treated us. When I tried to reach out the customer service, I received original response in one day and then nothing for weeks even though I followed up. I’d never go back to this hotel.

Room had light bulbs that were out and a shower that leaked onto the bathroom floor that I slipped on, not knowing it would leak from the corner that was missing the silicone bead to prevent it from leaking. Gentleman at the desk was a bit snarky in his responses as well.

Located next to Home Depot near staples.. hotel stat at 2017, lobby is 5*, room is clean.. chairs in the room should be replaced.. see pic n ac is very noisy.. overall cleanliness in common area is good and improvement can be made for fixing a broken sign, wall paper etc.. the hotel feels outdated very fast..

Its a good looking hotel. The staff is friendly and service is top notch. Regarding the room I had two concerns. The first was the temperature of the room it would never get below 75 degrees on the thermostat. But the room felt hotter. A part of the reason might be because we were on the ground floor across from what was obviously their I.T. closet holding their routers, wifi, camera and back end computer hardware. The door on the room was propped open slightly with a strong fan pushing hot air out of that room into the hall which felt like it was in the mid to high 80s temp. Our room across from it may not have been able to keep cool because of this. The other concern was the lock on one of the back hall doors. When entering that door with a security card the locking mechanism makes a very loud hammer to metal noise. The room next to that door is proably bothered by this obscene notice in the quiet hotel.

Nice hotel, beautiful pool, and great location. Everything was really clean and the staff was wonderful. However, breakfast could use some help. They served the same thing both Saturday and Sunday- unusual for Marriott, as we always stay at one. They werent restocking things 15 minutes before closing, also unusual. Other than that, it was a wonderful stay.

Nice location and convenient to the wineries in the area. Staff was really great, Karina (sorry if I didn’t spell it right!) super helpful and friendly, very welcoming. Chris the bartender/waiter was awesome (really hope that was his name but he was working the Night Shift 3/3) so friendly and he made some really great drinks while tending to the people who were dining as well.My only complaint was the shower head and the bed. Was comfortable but hurt my back a little and the pillows were too soft but that’s my opinion. Shower head shot out water like a firehouse. Stayed in room 425. I couldn’t change the setting.Other than that, the stay was good and the complimentary breakfast was nice.

Wow! Did not expect such a nice suite for such a reasonable price. The free breakfast was a disappointment but that was our fault for not going earlier. Out of apple juice and cranberry juice. They did not refill them. The waffle iron timers were not working and there was raw dough in the middle in the middle of the waffles.

This is a very nice hotel. Almost gave it 5* except half the rooms face the freeway. Id place it above Courtyard quality as equal decor but includes breakfast unlike courtyard. basic room is a studio suite with partition between beds with desk sofa and kitchenette. I assume there is microwave but did not check. TV has poor placement is only quip. Restaraunt looks nice same as patio and pool. Request pool view as it faces away from the 101 freeway. This would be 5* all around but the location is not near anything and the room faces freeway. Its more like a countryside hotel between 2 cities. Nothing here for elite members. I could not even get a better room location because fully booked and I did not call ahead. One would think Marriott would rank elite members like airlines do for business class upgrades and consider their preferences (ie, near elevator, hi/low floor, facing east/west). Half the rooms face the freeway which I despise hearing the passing cars. Cheap construction - can hear children running in room above, but outer walls are well insulated.

This is the nicest Springhill Suites we’ve ever stayed at!Starting with check-in, the man Russ (or Ross, it was a little loud and he didn’t have a name-tag on) that checked us in was so kind and helpful!The lobby and seating areas is really nice and spacious. Everything was very clean.The rooms were very clean and spacious as well. I really prefer the toilet/ shower split options, that’s a nice option to have when traveling with family!The gym was great for a hotel gym. Nice equipment options, a few nice machines and a good selection of weights. It was very clean!The coolest part of this hotel is the back patio. The view is beautiful, it was the Percy place to sit and watch the sunrise come up over the vineyard. I would imagine that it would be a nice place to have a drink at the end of the day.They had a nice breakfast selection from what it looked like, but I didn’t eat, I only grabbed a banana.We would definitely chose to stay here again given the option!

We attended a company Christmas party here on Dec. 3. The venue was a great size for the amount of people (maybe 120?) clean, staff was on point, bartenders were awesome, Jim made some great drinks, Chef made an absolutely delicious meal! I had Prime rib (flavorful and moist) potatoes (cut up and seasoned just right) green beans (yummy) and salad (delicious) and while there were other selections I did not try them. Staff at the casino table we played were entertaining and made the night really fun! I would definitely recommend this beautiful hotel for a venue.

This place should be rated 4+ star! The staff is very nice, the room is spacious, the backyard/pool hangout area is very elegant! Our room was just a typical suite… nothing fancy, but it was more than enough for two people staying. I really appreciate the office desk and the sofa setup. We even ended up having a little picnic after checking out, by the pool area, and it was super nice and quite. There is a Starbucks nearby (walking distance), which is a nice add up to our stay! Would highly recommend it! We really enjoyed it.

Large hotel with swimming pool and gym. We stayed for two nights with breakfast included. About the room I cannot say that it was 100% clean either. The bed was not ironed, looked like it had already been slept on, and there were a few foreign hairs. We asked to replace it, the staff did it quickly. The pillows were not clean. But I sleep without them, so no problem))But what struck me more was the look of the armchairs in the hall in the dining room, it was simply terrible to sit on them. For this reason, I was afraid to use the pool, if it is difficult to keep the chairs clean, then what is the condition of the pool. Although there are excellent terraces on the street and in general I liked the hotel itself, only it needs to be cleaned

I only stayed here for one night and did not interact with staff. So I can not rate on service here.Spacious room with sofa bed available if you just want to accommodate one more person.(The hotel official pictures are accurate.)The room design appears to be a modification of an older layout to add in the suite. Divider is in the middle of the room. TV is on a swivel base so that it can turn towards either the bed side or the sofa side (but not both). Also if you brought your own game system such as switch, it is not easy to connect. (you need to unplug the hardwares, which i dont think the hotel wants you to do).Mobile key available which is very nice. Lots parking spaces for guests and they are free.Cross the road there is a Starbucks. Very convenient. 20mintes drive to San Luis Obispo to the south, or 10minutes to Paso to the north. Great location?

The hotel was nice looking and is pretty big butwe had a horrible experience with service and is primarily reason I provide a 2 star rating1) Front Desk - we checked in very late but the front desk staff there was not friendly. I asked a few questions but she was not very keen on answering my questions and maybe becasue it was late night (past 1:00 am). However that did not leave me with a good feeling2) Hotel facility - nice clean facility and pretty big. Outside area was very nice albeit we were only there for 1 night so did not get to experience3) Breakfast - this was probably one of the worst breakfast experiences in my entire life, primarily from a service perspective. We got to breakfast at about 8 am and breakfast was supposed to be until 9 am.- The oatmeal container was empty ; when we asked the person to get oatmeal, she said rudely there is no more oatmeal as it is all finished. Really at 8 am it is all finished and she couldnt make addl oatmeal when there is another hour left for breakfast and there were still many people walking in to eat- I went to get Tea but there was no hot water. I asked them to bring hot water and it took them more than 10 minutes to bring hot water. They had the same issue with coffee where guests were waiting for one of the coffee urns to be filled.- Fruit - they ran out of bananas and cut fruit and said they did not have any additional. Again by 8 am and we were not the only ones asking for it? I would think based on the number of rooms booked and people, the breakfast manager would know how much to make and stock- Bread - limited types and I got the feeling some of them were out of stock- Isnt the staff supposed to continuously check the coffee, hot water and other food items and ensure it is stocked . Why do customers have to ask and then wait a long time to get it- Overall breakfast staff was not helpful and at times rude. I dont think I heard anyone apologize that day and there definitely was no service with a smile. It was more like service with a groanAs a vegetarian, we cant eat many of the hot food items as they are primarily meat (sausages or bacon) so rely on fruit, oatmeal, bread, yoghurt, etc to start the day and when something like this happens, it really turns one off. Unfortunately, just because of the breakfast service, I would lend towards not recommending the hotel. Shame as the hotel is in a nice area

3-day stay and no housekeeping. Marriott is milking the cost savings by not providing housekeeping for as long as they can. They say it is to minimize contact for the safety of staff and guests. Mask wearing is far more effective and no one is wearing masks, not even the housekeepers. Clearly there is no interest in minimizing contact but rather in saving money.Best hotel staff Ive encountered recently. Very friendly and helpful. Nice but tiny pool. Good on a blazing hot day, but otherwise I get the feeling you would freeze in the pool.Room was it good size, and it was reasonably comfortable. I was upgraded to a room with a sofa and a small sitting area because Im a titanium elite member.With housekeeping this hotel would have earned a higher star rating.

Front desk staff were so helpful during check in, we really appreciate that. Overall the hotel was ok, though new there was a first impression issue that through me off, lots of litter including overflowing trash at the entrance. General grounds and bldg mntnc appeared to be behind. Though I know it was the holidays and maybe staff were off etc…. The design of the rooms were nice and comfortable…. Overall satisfied but that’s all.

When I first walked into the room I was pleasantly surprised with the look and feel of the remodeled room. With a nice transitional look, I thought I was going to have a good stay. Then the AC unit kicked on... It sounded like to was going to rattle apart. If you stay in hotels often, you will be used to the fan noise from the window units, me too. This noise was not that! A loud and inconsistent rattle made it impossible to talk on the phone with the AC running. And, alas, sleep was fleeting. I finally made the choice to turn the unit off and attempt to sleep hot rather than be woken up every 30 mins when the AC came on. This was a fatal flaw in my guest experience and trumped the pleasing decor and powerful shower.

Judging this hotel based on the $340 (before tax) it cost for a Friday night stay. Would have scored higher at a lower price point. First, be aware this is 9 miles south of Paso Robles in a business park (Starbucks, Home Depot etc). We knew this and so it wasn’t a surprise. Common areas were nice and have some nods to the surrounding wine area like wine barrels and vines out front and back. Outdoor pool was warm, but it’s disappointing to not have a hot tub to relax in. Place has a bar and serves food 4-9pm. Rooms are large and clean. There was some damage to our closet door in room 410 that had not been repaired. Shower head had also seen better days and had limescale on it. Also. It seems crazy in 2022 that the place has zero EV chargers - not an issue if you bring the gas car, but still seems like a strange oversight. Overall, clean and comfortable lodging, but I expect more if you’re paying nearly $390 after tax.

Nice modern all suite hotel right off US 101 near Templeton. The rooms are relatively big with a partition between the bed and the lounge. Pull out sofa beds allow multiple people per room. The kitchenette has a microwave and small fridge. The free breakfast is enough to get you going but nothing memorable. There is a small pool out back next to the on-site bar restaurant. The bar has a nice selection of local wines and drinks. Food is pretty good. As you can imagine a pool and free breakfast caters to families with kids so expect busy weekends and holidays.

I am usually a happy person so I dont like to judge or write a comment about other people or place. but this hotel was horrible. My husband booked this hotel because of good reviews. I never experienced this poor quality of the service in Marriott. The room that I got was so dirty.There were smoothie stains on the side tables and inside the refrigerator was so disgusting. It seemed housekeeper didnt clean it for a month. There were spider webs on the ceiling. The mirrors in the bathroom and the body mirror were dirty. There were stains on the pillow cover and bedspread. I found someones watch on the floor. The only positive comment is that the front desk receptionist was nice. I totally understand the current labor market situation because of the covid so they might experience the shortage of the staff. The housekeeping needs to improve to meet the Marriotts standard.

Very nice hotel with easy freeway access for all of your jaunts to wineries and other local attractions. Our room was spacious, comfortable, and clean. The hotel is relatively new and the interior is attractive. Theres an especially pleasant area for outside dining. Staff was accommodating and helpful. Be sure to ask for some wine tasting coupons and a map of local wineries. They were happy to help us map out our day.

We enjoyed staying here. We were surprised and disappointed there was no tub in the bathroom. The water pressure was low and water didnt get very hot during peak times. And the a sign in the pool area stated there was a hot tub. There isnt. And the cable and internet kept. Cutting out. The free breakfast is good though, they even have vegan sausage which tasted pretty good- if a little bit dryer than the meat sausage.

Been staying here for over 3 years off and on. This place is going down hill and is way over priced for the majority of the year because of supply and demand, quality of service doesnt warrant the prices charged. $150 should be the max price until updates are made. Front desk check in is unappreciative and unfriendly. Room didnt appear to be cleaned very well. Shower was dirty, shower caulk was nasty, shower head is like getting sprayed with a fire hose (way too high of pressure/not adjustable), toilet is like flushing Niagara falls (waste of water), coffee ring spots on night stand, breakfast is very disappointing (all processed/unhealthy/sugar loaded food). Recommend taking advantage of great local produce and provide an above average experience (if you have been to Europe you know what I mean). All of the prepackaged processed food is a waste, save money buy bagels/donuts from a local business and everyone would be happier.

Great staff and very attentive! One of the nicer SpringHill Suites I’ve stayed at.The Mobile Bonvoy App’s Digital keycard wouldn’t work. Elevator wasn’t working at one point. The AC unit didn’t work the first night. Not the end of the world… but it was annoying to take the stairs caring suitcases and wine.I really wish they had EV charging too.

We stayed here for 3 nights on a business trip at the end of April. The rooms are fine, clean and adequate. They are only cleaned every other day.We travel 30-45 days a year for work and fun. We often stay at the higher end Marriotts, Ritz Carltons and St. Regis.We had an item of great value removed from our room without our position. These were 2 giant cases of Wine with 10 bottles of wine still in the boxes. When we came down stairs in complete Distress Cortland the MOD was not alarmed nor did he actively try and help us. He finally called his houseman who then stated he took out the boxes and broke them down and there was no wine inside of this. Lie #1Next we begged Cortland to take us to their recycling. Our boxes were large with cardboard inserts to keep the wine safe on the plane. Cortland refused and we waited while he called Patty the manager.Finally after seeing how upset my husband was he took us to the dumpsters. He argued with my husband that he stands behind his staff and basically we are lying about the wine. My husband asks for a ladder, anything to help us look in the dumpsters. Cortland stood by and did nothing but state there is nothing he can do. At this point I call the police to report the theft.The wonderful campus police come and hear our explanation, then they go question Cortland and in 5 minutes by a miracle our boxes appears, not broken down and with 10 bottles of wine inside.These people are dishonest and liars. Patty the manager promised us that the General Manager Scott would be in contact to help resolve what happened and it has been 11 days and no contact.The STress this caused, the way we were treated by Cortland was so Inexcusable. The next morning Cortland tried to intimidate us by yelling at us as we walked out for our business meeting. This is an awful hotel full of disrespectful, untrained and unprofessional staff.Do not stay here and if you do understand you have no rights unless you call the police. Cortland should be fired.

SpringHill Suites is conveniently located off U.S. Highway 101 between Paso Robles and Atascadero. Its a 20 minute drive to San Luis Obispo, and a 40 minute drive to Hearst Castle. The suites are clean and well appointed with a king bed and a sofa bed. A complimentary buffet breakfast of scrambled eggs, sausage, yogurt, cereal, and a variety of bread is provided. Theres also a station where you can make your own mini or regular waffles - which is fun for kids and adults too. The gym is relatively small but its not crowded. There is also an outdoor heated pool but not a jacuzzi. Theres a restaurant and bar called Union and Vine on site which offers a broad selection of wine but only a small selection of food for dinner.Overall, the hotel is comfortable and conveniently located. Great place to stay if you are visiting SLO area or Hearst Castle and Morro Bay.

The hotel is easy to find and has shops and restaurants nearby. I mixed up the reservation dates and Russ was really helpful to find a solution and even called Expedia to waive the penalty! A big thank you to him !Breakfast is served from 6 to 9am which a bit early when you are on vacation.The room was nice and quiet but could be cleaner (lots of dust on the alarm clock).The swimming is quite small and can be rapidly crowded.

I didnt give it 5 stars because they close the breakfast doors right on hour of closing time. There was people looking for breakfast after they closed the doors and they only serve coffee until 10am unlike other hotels which have it available all day/evening. Otherwise great hotel and would stay here again if in the area!

Great hotel! Id give it 5 stars if it wasnt for 1 weird design flaw. We stayed in a two queen bed suite, and the bathroom was divided into two separate rooms. one with a shower and the other with just the toilet. neither door had a lock on them so they just felt like part of the main living area. The walls were thin so it felt like you had no privacy from the other people staying in the room with you. it made it so that any time someone needed to use the restroom a very uncomfortable situation. a few of my family members resorted to going down to the lobby to use the bathroom instead. the pool was Outdoors but it was very warm and enjoyable to swim in at night. the breakfast was good as well. Fantastic staff.

Spring Hill Suites Atascadero 12/11-12/14When we first arrived at the hotel and entered our room, it looked very nice. Then, we began to notice all of the nice features and the deficits.Positives:There is a separate toilet and shower room and the staff was friendly. In fact Kai went out of her way to make us feel welcomed.Deficits:1. The sliding barn doors to the toilet do not close all the way or lock.2. The sliding barn doors have frosted glass which adds privacy but the light coming through the glass wakes up those trying to sleep.3. The glass doors also amplify the bodily noises while sitting on the toilet for all in the room to hear.4. There are no hooks in the bathroom for clothes. I had to hang my clothes an the towel rack over the sink counter.5. The barn doors do not allow for a hook for clothes.6. If the shower is being used, and someone wants to use the toilet room to use a blow dryer, there is NO electrical outlet available.7. The clock in the room was set an hour late and we were late to our appointment and no visible buttons to change the time.8. Being a new hotel, we were surprised that there was only one USB plug, and that was on the alarm clock with the wrong time.9. The grab and go breakfast was less than inviting. The last hotel I was in had a grab and go breakfast with omelettes, sausage and bacon. You can do better.10. I have business clients in the area, but given all of the deficits, you can understand why I will not be staying at the Spring Hill Suites again. I realize you cannot change the design of the “suites” but I would suggest that the architect who designed the rooms do a better job of listening to the customers. And if that is not possible, they should be fired!Thank you for listening to a frequent traveler.

This was the second time we stay at this hotel. The first time it was a pit stop before we arrived to San Francisco. This second time it was for a get away to Paso Robles. We enjoyed this hotel. Located no more the 3 miles from downtown Paso Robles (cute small town feeling w/ lots of eateries). The ONLY thing we wish there was is a jacuzzi. We really wanted to relax and soak, but there wasnt one. The outdoor fire pit is cool. The bar area is pretty nice and the food was actually delicious. Bad experience with management of this property. We are Marriott members and have come to expect much better. Long story short, we had a sick individual in our family and discussed the possibility of Covid exposure with front desk day of our check-in. We never checked in and our trip was canceled, we had to go home. Per staff, we were advised they would get OK from upper management and likely refund could be given considering medical justification. After waiting a few weeks with multiple unreturned calls to the property as well as emails to General manager Marcus Hernandez without reply, we contacted Marriott corporate to initiate a case. Finally received communication from Kai Kehler supervisor who at first denied that we even contacted the property check in day and then after research found notes indicating that was the case. Unfortunately however she still denied a refund. Because we booked through Expedia, we also requested Expedia reach out directly to this property in hopes Atascadero SpringHill would reconsider but unfortunately decision still stands. At this point we are in a credit card dispute and would caution anyone considering a stay here given the extremely poor customer service and lack of regard for guest health risks.

I had to complain to management three times about noise from the room above us (kids running and jumping). You can hear through the walls on either side, too. They claimed to be sold out so couldnt move us, but the noise would abate for a short time after we complained, so I assume some action was taken. It would start again shortly thereafter so I cant recommend this place for a quiet weekend. The location is good, rates are reasonable, but quality is lacking.

There are some things I liked about SpringHill Suites by Marriott, but there are equally things I did not like about it.The role.s themselves are great. Very modern, and spacious. Theres a pool, a great view, and a bar. Theres complimentary breakfast, but its nothing to get excited about, other than its free. The staff was not very helpful; I had to wait for someone each time at the front desk and bar during normal business hours. I tried to purchase something from the small gift shop and was told Id have to wait for someone to get back. It seems odd that someone would be there just to tell me they could t help me.My biggest gripe was the discrepancy on my invoice. When I booked my rooms, the woman who booked my reservation quoted me $159 / night. When I checked out I was invoiced $189 / night. I called the hotel when I arrived home and the gentleman said he would ha e his manager call me back to discuss this. 4 days later I still havent received his call.Would I stay here again? Probably not. Would I suggest staying here? Maybe if you had no expectations, and didnt go there for anything special and simply wanted a place to stay.

We had our company holiday party there very recently. They agreed to give a certain discounted rate. When we tried to get a room the person at the front desk said the least they could do was $40 more than the agreed rate. I tried to explain the situation. He said he had no idea what I was talking about and pretended to check his email. Meanwhile our company is spending thousands of dollars in the next room. I just paid the extra $40 and shrugged off the lack of professionalism.When we got to the room we made ourselves comfortable or at least we tried to. The bed was really firm and not in a supportive way. I lifted up the side of the blanket and the sheet and bed squirt had wine stains all over them. I started looking around the bed and realized there was a dirty sock from whoever stayed there before us.The room was just cheap and gross. The sofa was uncomfortable. The laminate on the inexpensive nightstands was pealing. The shower head was old and weak. The matress was cheap and uncomfortable. The TV was very poorly placed halfway between the office and the bedroom. The window had a lovely view of a giant power line. We couldnt really sleep. We got out of there at 6am. When we checked out the woman at the front counter said they hadnt all communicated with each other and adjusted the rate accordingly. The damage was already done. The customer service, professionalism, and cleanliness were lack luster at best. You would be better off staying elsewhere.

Several Issues:Failure 2 - was that the bathroom showers was not cleaned prior to my arrival. Failure 3 - wall sockets in suite area did not work which is imperative to ensure my watch is charged so in mtgs i do not miss important messages! We are Sooo impressed with this place. The suites are designed with a very modern, European design that makes your space feel large and separated. For example, the toilet is separated completely from the bath/shower/vanity area. Just off the 101 freeway, easy to locate, plentiful parking. Room was in great condition, comfy beds and couches. Pool is not that big. Front desk people super friendly and professional, some of the best Ive ever met. Breakfast buffet was the typical stuff: Canadian bacon; eggs that were halfway between beaters and scrambled with toppings of cheese, fresh spinach, and salsa; waffles, fruit, pastries, yogurt, juices, coffee, tea. Lots of people so food disappeared fast, but kitchen was very fast to put out more food. Plenty of seating inside and outside to eat. The only bad thing was our room phone wasnt working. Engineer came the next day and determined that the jack was loose. Meanwhile, had to walk to front desk to request stuff. Inconvenient, but again the front desk people were very nice and tried to accommodate. Would stay again despite the hiccup. Only 30min drive to Avila and a bit farther to Pismo. Its early August at the time of this review, and in the afternoon Atascadero is about 15F warmer (85F) than the beach (70F).

Michelle was a standout in customer service! The second I walked in she made me feel at home like a VIP & had me checked in with all the info I needed in a minute flat. So much that I had to jump on here to leave her a great review, just wow. Thanks Michelle, I hope it doesnt go unnoticed how appreciated you are. I had a very long, stressful day & you turned it around just with your personality & hospitality. Housekeeper didn’t change the sheet at all when we checked in. When I asked politely to change the sheet, they told me that they could only bring the sheet to me and provide no service to change the sheet, which was what housekeepers were supposed to do. My recent stay was off: key card had crusty food on the card, shower in room had what looked like a pubic hair, I called the front desk and no one was available so the girl at the front offered to come remove herself. It was a great gester and would have made me more comfortable to not have to remove a hair from the private parts from a previous guest. She was kind but unfortunately she picked it up with her bare hands even though I asked her to use a tissue, she then proceeded to touch my hand sink and contaminated it with the same bare hand and my room door handles....I’m now wondering, wait she got hot water for me earlier for drinking....eww. I hope this is one off experience but this hotel definitely is night and day compared to my visit in May. I hope they will figure it out soon with their house keeping and training...I’m not sure about coming back here.

This property is very conveniently located atop a hill with beautiful surrounding views and overlooking the US-101 with very little discernible noise. Easy automobile travel via El Camino Real road to all types of shopping and services. There is a railroad line close-by, during a quick passing the low rumble of the train engines and a faint train whistle is heard.Downstairs lobby is welcoming which includes the gym, business office and a bar & restaurant. Starbucks is next door.The suites are designed with a very modern design that makes your space feel large and separated. The lounge sitting area is combined with the office workstation, but a sliding window opens to the bed. The TV electronics will automatically detect your HDMI devices and plays well with a fast Internet. The newish design refrigerator models are small, do not have a freezer compartment, and the single cup coffee makers are not convenient for extended stays.Although top-floor corner suites are spacious, pleasant and somewhat quiet, the hallways provide more than usual guest & house keeping door slamming, especially with INCREDIBLY BAD noise transfer from the adjoining room doors. Similar design flaw with other SpringHill Suites, the room lounge sitting area and workstation area IS TERRIBLE from the constant amount of guest room and housekeeping door slamming noise which transfer directly into your room. ALSO, the acoustics are SO VERY TERRIBLE that you can ACTUALLY HEAR your next-door neighborhood SNORING!!!During Christmas Holiday time theyve hidden elves around the property where you or your kids are rewarded for finding them, the staff understands the meaning of hospitality and they are constantly improving the GREEN options for reducing carbon footprint.

They told us we could check in early because we had an event to go to but when we got there they said the computers were down and asked if we could wait. No problem except after an hour wait still no computer . We left to run a errand and left my phone number to call us when they were back up. No call. When we got back a hour and a half later they were checking people in without a computer. My wife asked why they couldnt of just done this before and the manager got rude saying that thats to bad because it was what it is. Ok no problem, but the next time we will find another place to stay. Why not 0 stars? Because the room was very nice and the other employees were great!

Overall a good hotel. Breakfast wasnt spectacular, dried out but good for what youre paying. Only other minor detail was that bathroom doors wouldnt close all the way giving less privacy, letting the entire room hear every noise from the bathroom. Overall it was a good experience.

I’m very disheartened about how I was treated today after suffering a pretty significant injury to my knee. I was left waiting in the lobby for over 30 minutes with blood pouring down my leg waiting on a manager. The kind young man working the desk tried several times to have the manager come speak to me but he was too busy doing an interview. Then when he comes out, he walks right by me with another manager and won’t even look my way and heads into his office, leaving my waiting another 10 minutes, and only came out because the young man called him again. When he came over I reported what happened, how I went to lay down on the chase patio chair but it was broken, so he dropped to the ground with me flying forward to the ground, cutting my right knee up and almost breaking my arm. He didn’t apologize, he didn’t ask if he could take a report, he didn’t even go out to remove the chair… all until I told him to write up an injury report and get the chair so someone else doesn’t get hurt. Thanks s mama name is Alastair Jones, and he really made me feel like he didn’t care one little bit how I felt or was doing. I’m saddened and in so much pain, I decided to just go home. I live and own a business in Monterey, and I would never treat a customer of mine this way.

I can’t say enough about the staff at this hotel. We have a classic car club that descends on Atascadero every July (next year in May) and the staff bends over backwards to accommodate our peculiar needs. Always a fun weekend.

Great hotel. Probably the best in atascadaro. Please was very clean and room was large and idea for business traveler. Free breakfast buffet in morning 630-930. The food was ok just glad I didnt pay extra for it. Lots of free parking and free WiFi that works. Pool area was very small with no spa but again clean. Lobby bar was quiet and not super inviting.

Was stuck on reception for more than 2 hours because there was nobody on reception a 12 am cops showed up because of a silent alarm and the receptionist was nowhere to be found.Funny part I was just trying to pay for snacks I had already open the other guest where waiting for keys for the room 🤣🤣🤣Cant say all employees there are bad because its not right but that was a really bad experience to have funny now but not then😕

It was convenient by 101 but, like in a desert, a little bit far from other places (e.g. Prefumo Canyon, San Luis Obispo) we planned to visit. On the way toward 101 South, the exit 223 was very next on the ramp. Somehow it could be easy to miss. Stayed here as family of four visiting SLO on a college tour. Hotel is immaculate, with huge breakfast area off the lobby that doubles as bar and restaurant. Rooms are clean and well-appointed, though walls are thin. Easily accessible off 101 - SLO is a 20-minute drive and Paso Robles wine country is on your doorstep.
