*Neurodivergent friendly* Car repairs can be stressful, expensive, and scary, but I completely trust Philip Guest to guide me through the process. He explains options and is straightforward, understanding, and reassuring. I have been coming to Spreen Mazda service center for over 5 years for the repair and maintenance on my 2013 Mazda 2 and will continue to do so.Recent upgrades to the service experience include digital copies of forms sent to your email and cellular updates, including appointment reminders and prompts. The lobby was also updated recently and has nice seating and amenities like tables, coffee, and charging ports.

I couldnt have picked a better place to buy my new Mazda. After comparing prices across multiple dealers across CA, Spreen got me the car I wanted at the best price. Throughout the process, they were transparent, responsive, and all around a pleasure to work with. Unfortunately, this is something that is far from guaranteed when buying a car and was not something I can say for other dealers I visited before going with Spreen. Wyatt in particular was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. Thank you to him, Matt, Ricky, and the rest of the time at Spreen.

I purchased a cx5 about 3-4 months ago. The car runs fine so far. My biggest complaint is the gas consumption. I was told it gets about 360 miles on city driving on a full tank. This is false, I only get about 160 miles on a full tank on city driving. Why such a discrepancy? This is out right falsification. Also, I dont understand why the passenger front tire is wearing out faster than the rest. I am sick and tired of lies from these auto makers! These cars are not cheap...$564.00 a month! These companies should be held accountable for ripping off the public. Lie after lie....so sick of it!!!Here is an update to my review....after I wrote the review and after they replied...lo and behold my fuel range all of a sudden went from 160 miles on a full tank to 300....I wonder how they did that especially after I was spending $40 plus a day. I still have issues with the tires especially the 2 front tires. The one on the passenger side is wearing out faster that the rest and now the driver side front tire is shredding. I was told they were 45,000 mile tires. But after 15,000 miles they are crapping out. These are SAFETY issues and mazda needs to address this.

My experience was amazing. Wyatt was so easy to work with, I felt very comfortable during the process. Spreen worked with my credit union, which made the whole process seamless. I purchased a extended warranty which was couple hundred dollars less the the quote from my credit union. I would definitely recommend Spreen Mazda.

We had a great experience leasing a new CX-30 from Spreen Mazda. We did the model selection, pricing online with Matt and Wyatt. We also did the test drive and confirmed print and options with Matt and Wyatt. They were both easy to work with and very flexible in meeting our requirements. Jose in Finance was also great to work with. He explained the terms and answered all of our questions and was very quick in helping us finalize the deal. All in all, my wife and I are very happy with how we were treated and happy to have a new Mazda.

Great people, and I got a very good deal from two states away (NM) on a used, one-owner, very-low-mileage 2017 GMC Terrain (in amazingly like-new condition!). I flew in and drove it home to NM.Pre-sale, Eziquiel answered all my questions, sent pictures/videos, set up the deal with the sales manager (Matt), and arranged an Uber to pick me up at the local airport (ONT/LA). Daisy was the one who met me there when I arrived. She showed me the car, went with me on the test drive, and took care of some of the behind-the-scenes leg work as I waited for the car to be prepped for me to take it home. Both Daisy and Eziquiel were very helpful and pleasant. Matt gave me a free full tank of gas (half tank is their usual policy on used cars) without my asking because I was driving so far. Overall, it was a very nice buying experience there.

Purchased a Mazda CX-30 yesterday at this dealership. I initially inquired through their website and Ezequiel promptly emailed me to schedule an in-person visit. I informed Ezequiel that I would need a Spanish speaking salesperson and it was accommodated appropriately.Ezequiel showed me various CX-30 models and I found the perfect car I was looking for.We negotiated over the price and the sales manager Jimmy came in to close the sale. Went to the parts department for a VVT solenoid and was told the part had been discontinued, was not offered any additional help when i asked what i should do they said Autozone or Oreilly to which i replied they did not have this part either. then the guy said well then i dont know what to tell you. which must be a lie because what would they do if the car was in their service bay and had to get the part? there must be some solution.

5 bold stars.To begin, Marcelino is hands down the smoothest person I’ve dealt with when purchasing a new vehicle. (This is my 4th). I came in wanting the CX50 and Marcelino showed me all of the features and the test drive was great (some have been awkward). He was very patient in my millions of questions. Had a great experience negotiating for the car,. however the financing/purchase part was horrendous. The salesman was great but the rest of the process sucked. I’m having problems with my financial institution cause of them. this the exact problem i have with shady dealers. I was already pre approved with check in hand and it turns out they didn’t use the check. the whole “oh we work with your bank.” is bs. I already worked with my bank to provide the payment. and for this reason i would not recommend this establishment. sorry guys. not trustworthy.

I will never use their tire or service department again . I was told during oil change I should change my front two tires this was the first weekend of September 9/5 . I paid about 300 and it hasn’t even been a month today 10/3 I have a flat . Never had an issue with my prior tires . I only commute 2 miles to my daughters school and back park in my driveway nothing ran over . I call and no warranty no discount nothing . Horrible not an investment at all.

Got to the dealership with my daughter who drives the Mazda EV and asked the manager if she could charge her car while we’re there to buy another vehicle. I could not believe it when he said “No, it’s too expensive to have her charge her car here”. He said he would rather lose a business deal than to have her charge her car there. I came in not expecting at all to find the car I wanted, and ended up leaving with exactly that, and the showroom car, no less! 😄 There was a little bit of a disagreement at the beginning of the sale, and some negotiating had to be done, but it wasn’t anything I wouldn’t expect at a car dealer 😅 and my salesperson Stephanie Gonzalez was still very accommodating. Drove up to Loma Linda from Palm Springs because I couldnt find an automatic transmission Miata in PS. The staff at Spreen was welcoming and very attentive. From my salesperson, Alexis, to Matt the Sales Manager and Stacie in Finance, I was given a great lease deal and drove off in a terrific vehicle. I wish Spreen had a dealership in PS, because I would definitely use them for service. However, they did provide me with a Mazda national service package that can be used at any Mazda dealership. The whole transaction from meeting with Alexis, to the test drive, to financing took a little over 3 hours. That is my only complaint, but I would rate them 9.5 out of 10. Now let me go into a bit more detail and explain exactly what made that experience such a great one…We made 2 visits in total. The first visit was to inquire about test driving a new Mazda Miata. Xavier met us outside almost immediately upon arrival, expressing his appreciation for our visit. I had let him know that we were interested in the Mazda Miata but had never test driven one. Within about 5 minutes and a brief exchange of some information, I was behind the wheel of a new Mazda Miata. Xavier was both professional and kind throughout our visit, displaying a wealth of knowledge when it came to any of our questions or concerns. One gripe that I’m sure everyone has with most car dealerships is the pressure that they apply to individuals when they’re truly seeking to make the best decision when purchasing a car. Especially when this car will most likely be a part of your life for the next 5 to 10 years. Not once during my visit did I feel pressured to make a hasty decision or like my business was unwanted when I stated that I’d like a few days to think my decision over.We spent the next week or so looking over all of our options and decided to make another visit to Spreen Mazda. Thankfully Xavier was there the day we decided to visit and helped us once again! He took us inside and we got right down to business. He answer some more of our questions and ultimately introduced us to Jimmy, one of the Sales Managers. Jimmy was incredibly helpful through the entirety of the sales process. He helped us fine-tune the details of the specific car that we wanted, explained the warranties and packages that were included, and answered any questions along the way.Xavier and Jimmy were a seamless team in this whole process and I can’t thank either of them enough. They made everything so easy for us, which made the experience of taking home a new car that much more enjoyable. My car and battery were functioning completely normal the day I took it in to get a simple oil change and tire rotation. They pushed this new payment plan so I can bring in my car for any future issues. I declined. They then said I needed a new $300 battery — there had been zero indication of a dying battery; my car had been starting up perfectly fine and I had received no other warnings from my car, so I declined. That very day, just a few hours later after leaving the dealership, my car gave all these scary malfunctioning warnings, including my brakes were malfunctioning, and my car completely died. My first negative experience with Spreen Honda. I took my 2012 Civic in for the 5K mile service and it was completed in a timely manner. When I went to pay for the service my advisor told me everything looks great. My suspension, tires, brakes, etc. are all in good condition. I know the service advisor was only relaying the information he was given for the multi point inspection from the mechanic and do not feel that he was at fault in the least. I drove off and immediately noticed a grinding sound from the front passenger side brakes. I had the brakes replaced and the rotors resurfaced in 02/2022. The brake pads have approximately 25k miles on them. My concern is the last time I had the car serviced I was not told the brake pads were low when they had approximately 18k miles on them. The service advisor apologized for the mistake telling me the brakes were in good condition. I also understand the mechanic being in a hurry and trying to get things done quickly, everyone makes mistakes.After a discussion between the advisor and the manager I ended up paying $200 for the pads to be replaced and rotors resurfaced again which is what I paid the first time minus the cost of the brake pads.It seems to me the original pads were not good or they were installed incorrectly to only get 25k miles out of them with normal driving. Since there is no way of knowing I paid to have the pads replaced and rotors resurfaced.I know enough about cars to know when something doesnt sound or feel right. My main concern and one of the reasons for the negative review is that my Mom takes her CRV to Spreen Mazda. if there is something wrong or needs to be replaced on her CRV and they are telling her everything is in good condition she is going to take their word for it. Isnt the whole point of the inspection is to let people know what needs to be replaced?

I recently bought a Mazda 3 2021 CPO and was very happy. About 2 weeks later I noticed the coolant was out on the tank. I go down there to ask to top it off and they refused. I kind of understand, but walking down to parts they wanted 50 DOLLARS for a gal of coolant. That was their sale price, Mazdas MSRP is 29 dollars for it. They are marking up coolant almost 90%. It was the day after Christmas and I needed a car that same day. I got pre-approved and started shopping for cars online, Spreen Mazda in Loma popped up. My first time showing up to my appointment they told me they did not have any master tech that would be available due to uncertain circumstances. Man...(3rd game) I told him no, I dont need any of them, I just need the car. This guy went back one time with saying here you go this is the price which includes $999 door safety guard. Exceeded my expectations - Julian is the BEST! Ive been shopping around for cars, doing tons of research. I know exactly what I want and what Im willing to pay, yet most other dealerships I reached out to still play the games and jerk you around. I called Mazda Spreen at 2pm and Julian answered, he took my cell number and promised to personally find the car I was inquiring about and call me from his cell to confirm it was on site. No bait and switch games! By 2:30pm he called back letting me know he was sitting in my future car. I arrived about 15 minutes later and we took it out for a test drive. I knew this was the car I wanted so we started discussing numbers. Of course, like any dealership, they want you to use their financing, but I was firm about my decision regarding financing and the deal moved forward without any gimmicks or add-ons. By 6pm I was driving off the lot with my gorgeous new (used) car, without feeling bullied, pressured, or taken advantage of. The price was fantastic and it was honored as it appeared online. If you look at their website and think, this car/price is too good to be true, just call and ask for Julian and he will let you know if the car is still actually on the lot so you dont waste your time. Spreen Mazda was great when it came to me buying my new Mazda 6. Their online system worked perfectly in setting up an appointment and a test drive. The sales team (Jimmy, Giovanni, and Gavin) were informative, fair, and easy to work with. I got a trade-in value that was reasonable and a new vehicle price that made sense. I appreciate the extra effort they went to in pulling off a dealer trade for the color I wanted. Even the detail guy in the back pulled out all the stops in prepping my vehicle as soon as it drove in from the other dealer. Undergoing some remodeling right now so things will be much nicer when its done. Service was on time and within a reasonable amount of time. Detailed inspection, oil change with filter, and tire rotation for $70 with online coupon was great. Ill be back for future services.01/04/20 UpdateWent in for front brake replacement with coupon from the mail. I was pleased to find out that Mazda offers free pad replacement on following pad replacement service just pay for labor. When it was discovered that my brake system was missing some hardware from when an independent mechanic shop did the last service, Spreen went out of its way to get the parts from Riverside Mazda so I didnt need to come back for another visit. Philip was excellent the entire time, updating me and getting my consent with everything that needed to be done. Hes always a positive and welcoming employee. The new remodel of the dealership looks so premium and makes you feel like youre shopping at a luxury dealership.Update 6/12/20Another great service, they provided a free ride to and from a nearby blood bank while my car was bring serviced.

Pretty seamless experience. Found used Mazda 3 on their website for a great price. Confirmed price, specifics of car, and availability over the phone with Alejandra who was very professional and prompt in answering my questions. No need to negotiate the price as it was already very fair. Was helped by Juan Ramos at dealership who was nice and not pushy. It was nice that they had the car pulled out front to test drive as soon as we got there. Gavin Romano the finance manager was excellent and fast in doing all our paperwork. My only complaints is the car could have been cleaner after detailing it, for example the rims were not cleaned. Also didnt appreciate pushing so hard for an extra $2,090 for a aftermarket alarm and paint protection.

Bait and Switch tactics.Called about a vehicle I was interested in. Spoke with Chris for 2022 Mazda 3 Hatchback. He pushed me to drive hundred of miles today to purchase the car. I asked him what the price was out the door and he instead asks me how much do you want to pay?.After 3 hours of negotiations he told me the car was sold when he didnt like my offer. He never showed me the sticker price nor mentioned it. Instead, hes asking the customer how much you want to pay. What kind of dealership would allow this?You can check Spreen Mazda Better Business Bureau (BBB) for similar stories. Overall, I am happy with my purchase. I love my car, but am disappointed with the professionalism at Spreen Mazda. Originally when they made me an offer, they brought out an offer that was $12,000 more than the asking price. It took lots of negotiating to bring that price closer to the price that was listed online. I would definitely recommend looking at vehicles online before you go. I found that the price listed online was thousands of dollars cheaper than the price physically listed on the car. I am also disappointed because I was promised that my car would be detailed and ready for me. I went to pick it up, only to find that it had not been cleaned at all and they lied about the fact that they had detailed it. I even found a dirty spoon covered in dried up peanut butter in the back. Overall, I am disappointed in the lying and lack of professionalism at this dealership, however I am satisfied with my car. Hoping I never have to deal with this dealership ever again.

I went to the have an airbag recall fixed today at Spreen Mazda. The agent who help me, Philip I believe, was friendly and professional. Unfortunately he is did not get my dry sense of humor. The Service Department was able to finish the repair quickly, under the estimated time, and I was able to get in and out of there in under an hour. Bought a used 2018 mazda3 so I understand it’s not going to look perfect BUT after I signed the papers we were excited to drive off in our new car but we had to wait for 45 min bc it was getting “detailed” is what they said. It was not! All 5 stars go to my salesperson Luis and the quality of current Mazda vehicles. I was not a fan of the dealer mark-ups but that luckily didnt get tooooo much in the way of my purchase. Luis is the most relaxed, comfortable, and easy going guy to talk to and voice your questions/concerns to. TBH no high-pressure sales tactics like certain higher-ups and other dealerships. Love my vehicle, love the price I got it, and definitely appreciated the salesperson. My dad owns a cx-5 so I even got 500$ for loyalty!Only Con was having to drive there two days in a row to complete the sale as the first day we were unable to come to an agreement. This location was a slightly far from me, but in the end I walked away happy so I wont let this affect my 5 stars for Luis :)

I was looking at buying a used Mazda here and I had two sales people helping me with the car because one of them was new. I had already test driven the car and showed extreme interest. We were working on the financing which I had sufficient down payment and was already qualified for when Another customer customer came in about this time and showed interest in the car. The sales staff told me the other person was interested in the car as well so I had better accept these terms or I will lose the car. I was trying to get my payment down just a little bit lower when they came back to me and said Im sorry but the car was sold to the other lady. She came in and bought the car without even test driving it? Come on clearly they gave her the same wrap about me being interested in the car so she just made the jump out of fear of losing the car. Thats shady business practices. That just shows that this dealership doesnt care at all about there customers. There just trying to make a quick sale. I brought my Mazda 3 in for service and from start to finish it was fast and professional. I was able to book an appointment for the next day at a convenient time for me and I was surprised when they said it would only be about an hour. In the past I have had to wait for hours at other services. The waiting area had coffee and water, snack machines, tv, and comfy seating. A sales associate talked to me briefly about whether I had considered trading in my older model car, but was not pushy and understood why now was not a good time (this makes me want to come back when it IS time to buy!). My service took an hour and my customer service rep Brian was very friendly and thoroughly explained everything. I also got a follow up email a few days later to make sure I was satisfied. Customer service was decent until we sat down with the financial manager Jose. He tried to tell me I HAD to purchase the security system and the paint protection for this car. Straight purchase with no financing, but was told a soft credit check would be done. They ran a hard Inquiry instead. I did not seek or get a loan. Paperwork was sloppy and kept sending them back to redo it. Overcharged me, name was wrong etc.Car was not ready. Parts were missing. Car was damaged by the wheel. They didnt deliver on accessory until I contacted them 10 times and then involved corporate.When shopping for a car a few sales people were dodgy and refused multiple times to answer my question about actual price and model.
