The process was super simple and effective. Customer service was very good and I felt as though I was taken care of promptly. I am though wary of the advertised renewal price going up from $145 to $165 from last year. I hope this trend does not continue, and feel I should be locked into my initailly agreed upon price.

Simple and strait forward process. My only challenge was with finding a suitable dropoff location. You cant use the stores, so you generally have to use a box dropoff that is in the basement of an office building and not easy to find. My first time dropping off the driver apparently decided not to make the pickup that day, so had to do the process all over again. Sppare was very easy to work with getting the replacement kit, but it was still a pain. Not their directly Sppares fault, but they define the process so in a way it is.

Process is simple and quick. The package arrived when expected and contained everything necessary. Shipping was quick and easy from a nearby UPS store and I was able to get confirmation via email easily even near Christmas.Knocked off one star for a few things - they do request STD testing for storage notes for directed donation but did not give particularly detailed instructions on how to do that afterwards. It feels like an afterthought compared to the streamlined storage process.Second - some forms use gender neutral language, some do not. One of the advertised reasons to use this service is transgender and non-binary clients banking sperm before starting therapies that may render them temporarily or permanently sterile, gender neutral language across the board would be appreciated.Update: Its now been two years. As far as I know my sample is safe and sound at 50 below zero. At some point during this year they upgraded their facilities to account for growth and we were duly informed of the methods used to ensure safe transit.Storage price has gone up since the first year. If you do expect to store long term, pre-paying for several years of storage will likely pay off even if it initially looks like a worse deal.

Affordable fertility sperm storage! And its by mail!Im a trans woman and this place has upfront pricing, and I was able to do it all the way from North Carolina at the time. I did have to interact with their customer support a few times (There was a freak blizzard after I ordered that delayed all shipping in the country, which ruined my sample kit), but they were able to dispatch a second one, have it arrive on time, and I was able to use it successfully.Overall very happy with the service!

Great experience! Took a couple tries, but that was my equipments problem, not the lab ;) I now know that conceiving naturally would have proved challenging, lol.That aside- very smooth process. Get your kit, collect sample, close it up, throw in the FedEx box thing with a prepaid label. They make it pretty difficult to mess up most stuff. Would deliver my sperm again if needed!

The Sppare me kit was extremely easy to use. My husband was getting ready to have a vasectomy and having slight doubts I ordered one a few days before the surgery so we can save what he had left post surgery. As a trans woman this process is scary. If its not done properly I wont get a second chance. Sppare.me makes it easy and affordable. However there is no confirmation my specimens are okay. Just blindly paying money for it :/Otherwise the experience was a breeze, and my samples were mailed over and processed really quickly. Then I was able to start HRT and begin my journey without too much worry about making more children.I encourage sppare.me to come up with a way to confirm your sperm storage. Maybe something like a photograph of your sample either up close or packed ready for storage. Seems easy enough and your customers would love it. This was an overall great experience. Its the only time Ive ever had to freeze and Sppare.me made it as easy as it can be for doing it from home. My kits arrived on the specified date right on schedule. Instructions were clear and I received my reports via email the next business day after sending back all three of my samples (I chose the Ultimate plan).These are minor suggestions but the only points I can think of to provide some clarification in the process:1. The instructions say provide your sample as close as possible to the Fedex pickup time. When is the cutoff time here where the sample quality really deteriorates? Maybe specify these in your instructions. With work schedules, its kind of tough to provide 3 samples 3 times at 5pm-ish, when I couldve gotten away with earlier in the day.2. Why is dropoff only at a Fedex (inside) box? These were tough to find in my area with a late dropoff time (a Fedex access point location without an inside box was available with 8pm pickup but they wouldnt take the package).3. For those doing the ultimate plan, I would suggest to Sppare.me to send out the kits in two cycles. 12 business days seems like a long time to send all three of them back but with crazy work/life schedules, maybe stagger the delivery of the 3 kits.4. I added the morphology test ($100) to my order. Maybe specify at check out that the $100 only includes one morphology test regardless of how many kits are in your plan.Again, very minor suggestions, but overall a great process. Also, the lab referral for blood work was easy (though my lab had to call to get some clarification on the tests).I had to contact Sppare.me once during the process with a question (via email) and they responded within two hours; cant ask for any better.Id recommend this company to anyone and the price was very reasonable.

Spareme helped us with the retrieving of our samples and then subsequently shipped them to our fertility center for use in our infertility treatment. It was a fairly easy process. I do think that the deadlines for the blood work is a bit fast. It was also a bit misleading to us (or maybe misunderstanding), where we were initially told that blood results are valid for one year. But thats not the case. We need to send more samples in and have to conduct new blood tests. Also, we are a bit disappointed that the prices for the shipment have gone up. Overall, we are using spareme for this second kit because of the ease of their services.

Im a trans girl who is freezing her sperm, as many do, before going on hormones. Even the contracts were written about a man and I was just thinking guess that doesnt apply to me! (I know that it still does). Please consider switching to using non-gendered words like person & they/them in your literature to not alienate your customers!

Sppare.me is by far the cheapest option for sperm banking, and I had a very positive experience with their customer service reps & everyone else involved. They dont make you pay any up-front consultation costs like the sperm banks nearest to me did, and their send-away option has three price levels if youd like to add more vials for security. My only complaint is that as a transgender woman it was tough being misgendered by customer service reps upon first hearing my deep voice. Especially since many trans people bank their sperm before beginning medical transition, this is a place where Sppare.me can grow, maybe not assuming peoples gender or providing a space to specify in our accounts or something. Otherwise Sppare.me was great, quick to react to questions & issues, no other complaints!
