I went in yesterday for a thule cargo carrier. The service that I received was amazing. The employee, I didnt get his name, went above and beyond costumer service. He found what I was looking for, he made sure it was the right measurements. He also went out to my car and made sure it would fit inside so I could take it home. Great experience

I been to this location too many times because my husband always wants to come in and shop.Very big store and have a lots of inventory.Fair price with nice customer service.However I am a person really scared of bird, chicken or duck, anything relates to birds. In this store there are way too many ducks hanging around at the ammo areas, for me that it is really scary, and it was way too low to see it. I had never stepped in that area just because of this. I would really appreciate to see if you can remove them or put it somewhere else so next time I can enjoy to shop at this location.

Very low selection on many items. Would highly suggest making a trip over to the larger Pro Shop competitor near by. I walked in, and it felt like this business was preparing to close their doors with the amount ofnitems missing.

Always love this place. Great selection, great competition prices. Have bought several guns here along with ammo and accessories. Employees at gun counter are knowledgeable and helpful. Never in a hurry to complete a sale to move on to the next customer, even when the line is very long and the wait is horrible, but thats not their fault at all.

I had a bad experience visiting this place . The employees should know people who come here they can see things around to see if they like it or not. One of the employees were just following me around and looking at me like I have done something very wrong or I have broke something till he yelled at me that my son was playing with something and he is gonna break it, it’s very expensive 2 $300 . Well, My son is very keen to know and check everything and they are kids not adults . He was not breaking it down and suppose he did that, I’ll pay for it . You guys don’t need to yell on customers.

Used to be my favorite store. But this time had a online order that took almost 2 weeks extra for delivery into store. Tried to have them cancel the order for 2 weeks now. I ordered a compound bow for my daughter online for Christmas. I called on Thursday to see if it was in and they told me it would be in on friday. I called Friday and they said it was supposed to be in on Thursday and they had to look for it. They put me on hold twice for 20 minutes each time and still couldnt find it. They called me back 4 hours later when they finally found it. Which meant to me that they had to go to another store to pick it up. I went in on Monday to pick it up and they could not find it. When they finally found it I found out it was a display model all beaten up. They expected me to give that to my daughter for Christmas all beat up like that. The customer service was ridiculous. I will be taking my business to Bass pro shops in Rocklin and I will never walk in there again. I wish I could give this a zero rating.

I have purchased many items from sportsmans and recently my fiance and I purchased our handguns here. The staff at the gun counter was very helpful and thorough. we both ended up buying different guns than we thorough we were based on the info that was shared from their very knowledgeable staff. Also sportsmans has the best pricing around.

They have a lot of stuff here, but you really need to know what youre buying. The hunting and tackle guys are pretty helpful except most of the people who work here just know where things are, not what things do.Also you are 3x as likely to find What youre looking for cheaper online. Even their own website has sales that you cant get in the store.Which is kind of weird but whatever theyre not the only option in town for outdoor stuff. Turners and Bass Pro have really pinched the business in the store.

Ive been into sportsmans where house twice and both times the customer service I received was awful. The first time two different employees attempted to help me but didnt know what products the had on hand or what the prices were. Then the lady at the register was as bad. The second no better. I left cussing out the store. I will not be back. Its as if they are going to close down soon and the employees know it so they are on f it mode.

I really try not to write reviews but I come here a lot and spend good money here just like many other people. It’s amazing how it’s an automatic 10-15 minute wait just to pick up an online order of ammo. Then I mentioned to him I also wanted to check out a couple firearms and he goes “oh… well there’s people waiting in line for ammo but yeah let’s go.” Excuse me, WHAT? 😂 I just waited, so they can wait too! I wanted to purchase a firearm but purposely didn’t bc of that attitude. People really need to lighten up over there. If you don’t like your job, then leave.

This is a large store with a lot of selections. Friendly staff and a price match guarantee. The womens boots are limited, but its the same at all the major sporting goods stores. I found mislabeled boots, but that was the manufacturers, not the stores fault. I would recommend this place.

I shop online often. I buy ammo mostly for the range and some self defense. Im always searching almost everyday for things I want or wishing for at Bass Pro, Turners, Sportsmans and Capital Outdoors. Sportsmans always seems to have the best prices and availability for me.

Being a retail worker myself I can understand at times why certain areas in the store arent pristine or even fixed up because it can get/be busy or maybe it being short staffed. I was a bit terrified or maybe just shocked at how many holes there were along with the fact that basically this whole pant wall was trashed, on top of this there was nobody in this area for atleast 20+ min and Its as if the wall hadnt been touched for over an hour...maybe longer. I felt so bad I started folding some of the pants, but gave up after only doing 1 or 2 columns? Or rows? Regardless, nobody seemed to be keeping an eye on this area.

What a great store. I wish I had one of everything. You want great things for hunting, fishing, camping or BBQing this is the place. They even have nice flashlights 7to pick and choose. The employees are Aldo great to talk with and are familiar with just about any of the items inside. You will enjoy your time and will walk out with great merchandise.

Bought a $1000 safe on a pallet, great buying experience, however, when I took delivery the pallet looked like it was smashed with a sledge hammer and completely unusable. Safe was leaning to one side, had to almost die unloading it and discard it. Total bummer.

First of all Id just like to say I would rather shop here than basspro anytime of the year. Now to the review. Came here several times eyeballing the new Sig Sauer Cross that they had in display with a scope, and well as a hunter I would like to customize it the way I wanted it. So I asked if they could part off the scope from the gun cause I was only interested in the gun, of course they told me it could only be sold as a kit and well thats kinda why it stayed on the shelf for as long as it did. Today I was in for a hat since summer is here, after so i traveled thru the aisle to the gun department cause you know its a must and of course the gun was still there as always. At this point I was only there for the hat and no intention for the rifle until I met the dude with glasses lol. After a few mins of exchanging conversations he told me of course he part the gun without the scope. Long story short, dude was awesome cause I walked out of there with my new gun and my hat. Good job dude.

Ridiculous store if you come here to purchase a firearm. Been here 3x an hour before the close as with my work schedule thats when I can make their operation hours. Every time I grabbed a ticket just to be told they dont have enough time to do any gun purchases. If it takes an hour or more for a gun purchase even when the customer knows exactly what they want, what is that 12 gun sales max in business working day? Not the employers fault, manager should hire more help, I thought dmv was bad without an appointment. After 3x showing up an hour before closing and being refused am firearms purchase I will go somewhere else and never come back here again. Your store is empty in 90% of your store and you have customers in your firearms waiting like paint drying. Guess if you want a firearm make sure you get there at 3pm as they close at 8pm

Worse consumer experience of my life by far. Horrible customer service, refused to process my order in person, offered me a laptop to do it myself or to go home and do it there. After placing my order online a few days later the transaction disappeared, Order number supposedly didnt exist and no one could give me an explanation. So I decided to take my business elsewhere. The following day after going to another store an paying cash for what I had originally ordered from Sportmans Warehouse, They apparently figured out what gone wrong or corrected the glitch in their system and charged my card again over drafting my account. Customer support has since given me 3 different time frames in which I should get my money back, including one in writing, All of which have come and gone. After a solid 3 weeks they blamed my financial institution for the delay, at which point I knew they were just lying and had no idea what was going on. I had to resort to disputing the charge with the credit card company and forward them the email from customer support saying theyd issue the refund in order to get my money back. Absolutely terrible business practices.

The archery selection is somewhat limited, so I couldnt find everything I wanted. I also waited about 30 minutes to get some help, but the staff was busy helping others and couldnt get to me. Wow is about all I can say. I cant imagine this store will be around much longer based on what we saw when we were there a couple days ago. Three cars parked in front of the store not counting us and an almost eerie quiet inside the store... Kind of had a Twilight Zone feel to it. I bought two goose calls for hunting here and they were horrible. I had an experienced friend try to use them and he could not get them to work. They would not let me return them. I understand that it’s something I put my mouth on to use but that shouldn’t matter. They should take care of the customers. They stock products and should back them. If they don’t work they need to make it right. I have spent thousands here. They will lose a frequent customer over a 100$ Transaction.

Sportsmans Warehouse is great, leans a little more towards hunting/fishing but they also carry good backpacking gear, shoes, boots, snow related necessities, etc. Brand named items and clothing.They are friendly, professional and knowledgeable. Their pricing typically is less than REI. If they arent, ask and theyll price match.They offer rewards on every purchase if you sign up. It adds up quickly so when you need that extra savings its there for you (provided you made purchases). Whats nice is while REI dividend is only available the year following your purchases, SW is available on your next visit and they tell you on every receipt how much youve earned and the total available.Only bummer, its not near a bus stop...but, for me its worth the walk. 😉

Shopping here is a joke. First their website showed 38 special ammo in stock limited quantity, purchase in store only so I drove to the Rocklin store to find out it was just a joke. Ordered on line with pickup in store. 3 weeks later I asked for status of my order and was told it was shipped and to wait for email. Another week passed and received email with Refunded order and reason Abandoned. Another joke. Will never shop here again. Love this store! This is my one stop place for all my camping and fishing gear needs. They stock all sorts of higher end gear that Im not able to find in their competitive stores. Definitely recommend to come and check out their inventory I think youll be surprised. Its fun too.

Good prices, friendly employees, but difficult to get help unless you go first thing in the morning. Their setup does not facilitate efficient help, as many items are behind the counter that do not need to be - which causes long wait times for items that Bass Pro (and other stores) put out for easy access. Many price tags missing for items on the shelf, or are for the wrong item. Employees at the gun counter are helpful - when you finally get some help. It is my go-to store for ammunition because they have good prices, and I dont have to wait in the often hour-plus line at the gun counter for help.

Stopped by to pickup ammo I had purchased online. When I saw 10 people in line I knew it would be a long day. Normally it takes 30 minutes for someone to acknowledge you here when the counter is empty, but the ammo prices were cheaper so I dealt with it. Decided to leave after 30 minutes of the line not moving forward. Thankfully this is the last box I have ordered here. I now purchase ammo at Bass Pro Shops in about 15 minutes when the counter is packed. It cost more, but I get to maintain my sanity.

The old man that works in shoes/clothing is the rudest, crabbiest person. Will not be going back to this store again. Never been talked to the way I was by anyone at a store before. Its not fault you are 75 years old and still work. Shouldn’t take your anger and bitterness out of customers. The people at the Archery desk were excellent and very helpful but the reason for the rating is because of how understaffed they are. I went to the same store multiple times over a weekend and ended up waiting almost an hour once and a little less the other times. A lot of people grab tickets (ticketed wait system like dmv) and leave because they don’t anticipate the long wait. I normally do not write reviews, but this stores poor customer service and lack of motivation from its employees prompted me to post one. This store is always poorly stocked, poorly staffed and wait times are exorbitant. Many of the employees walk around slowly and apathetic and are so rude its shocking, even in todays I could care less COVID-19 excuse making era. They work at a snails pace and their answer to everything is either, I dont know or let me ask. There is no sense of urgency in their demeanor and some are even downright disrespectful. Mistakes were evident for several of my orders and there was zero accountability when a mistake was brought to their attention. Two of the employees behind the counter were almost confrontational and unapologetic when they failed to handle a simple reorder for multiple defective products. Needless to say, I will never set foot in this embarrassment of a store again and will make the drive to Bass Pro or order online. Do yourselves a favor and avoid this place; youll be glad you did. I would have given it zero stars if that was an option.

I dont know why I assumed this was just a outdoor clothing store. It has a lot of stuff!!! Almost everything you need for outdoor fun. Kind of like a smaller version of Bass Pro but they have everything I need for fishing, camping, and kayaking! Great, clean, and organized store. Staff doesnt go out of there way to hunt you down but nice and friendly when you get to talk to them. I hope they stick around. I live right down the street so.....sorry Bass Pro.

My experience shopping here is nothing less than awesome, couple months ago I was interested in purchasing a gun to go target shooting with my friends, they let me use theirs but felt that was time to get my own, went to another store (Bassp...) and asked about the process and the guy that was there looked annoyed and barely said something that could help me, no one else showed interest in helping me, so I left disappointed and empty handed, the other day my brother had to pick up something from Sportsmans warehouse in Rocklin and asked me to go with him, I saw the way they helped him and how nice they were to him, then I remembered I wanted a gun so I asked one of the guys about it and he sent me to take my permit test, right there after passing the test they showed me every gun I was interested in, made my mind, purchased the gun I wanted and left happy with the experience, shout-out to Peter for all the excellent help, but everyone was equally awesome.

Went to the store and an employee told me that the manager was SUPPOSED to call me and tell me the tent wasnt in stock (though it said it was in stock online). Never got a call. Sportsman’s Warehouse doesn’t treat their loyalty club members/customers very well! I bought a Benelli Super Black Eagle 3 and waited the 10 day background check. I picked it up on a Wednesday evening and the next morning as a loyalty club member I got an email saying that the shotgun was now $600 off. Mind you the Benelli is $1,799, so to get that email the day after I dropped almost 2k was upsetting to say the least. I went to the store the next day and they told me to call corporate and if corporate couldn’t help then they would take care of me and “make it right”. So I called corporate and they wouldn’t help me. Then I called back to the store and talked with the manager and she said that they couldn’t do anything from their end.Moral of the story is there are much better places to buy guns than Sportsman’s warehouse. Their customer service is awful and you’ll spend all day in line just to talk to someone. Do yourself a favor and go to Bass Pro Shop!

The archery department was horrible, I was ready to buy a bow but worker was just talking to a kid and his father about hunting. I stood there for 30 mins (but in department for 1 hr total) waiting be helped and when he finally helped me he didnt even say anything. I feel as they discriminate there. The gun counter seems to be hit or miss when it comes to customer service. The worst experience I had was when it took me over 2 hours to get my HSC and purchase a handgun. There were no other customers anywhere nearby (I went in later at night), but no one at the counter was available to help I guess. However, the many other times that I have gone in I have been helped very quickly or ASAP. There are times when there is a line at the gun counter, but I have been helped as soon as an employee was free. Their sale prices are great and they also have a 60-day layaway program too. Prices are comparable to similar stores on most items there. Some are higher, but some are lower than even online stores such as Amazon.

Honestly, how hard is it to keep your enrollment straight? And how could you have double booked when there were 15 others on the list that hadnt even signed up yet when I did? The gun counter has more people window shopping and that slows the process for real gun buyers maybe they should make 2 lines. Anyways takes about 30-45 mins to get any help. I refuse to buy here any longer unless they are the only ones who have what Im looking for, and even then Id usually still rather order and wait. I would give them zero stars if possible. They had three of the same version of the rifle I purchased, yet I still went to TDS guns to order it and wait near a month to get my gun, just so I didnt have to deal with this place. I know this is probably for security reasons, but it makes sbopping for shoes a lot more difficult and pthe process longer. Terrible Gun Purchase Experience.Process from actually getting help to the DROS process took approximately 1hr. 20min.I had purchased a rifle online and went in store to complete the DROS. There was a spot roughly in the middle of the gun counter and begin my wait.I was bounced around between 4 different employees before the last one was able to help me. With all of the times having to re-explain why I was at the counter. Disrespectful! I purchased a jumping Jack trailer here over 2 months ago, apparently they had zero plan to file the dmv paper work so I can get my license plate that I paid for. I called them to find out why dmv has no record of the registration and the manager made nothing but excuses and thought I was his bud when somebody spends a substantial amount of any amount for that matter, the store employees need to refer to their customers as sir or maam not bud. I will never return to sportsmans, I will also be contacting jumping jack and sportsmans Corp office.
