2024-06-13 20:08:45The location is great for work. The front desk staff is nice. The community spaces are wonderful. BUT... corporate is not on site and they dont seemingly allow the front desk staff much say to override or debate whatever the corporate computer says. Example 1. Back in March, when I didnt wish to extend my 1 year lease past my April 30th finish date, the front desk staff could not accept my request and I had to go login to the portal to make that request. I did and had a screenshot to show I did. Yet, the computer then sent me a notice that I was obligated to also pay for May 2024 office rent despite my clear intention to vacate at the end of my 1 year lease on April 30th. After having to go back and forth for weeks and also get staffers from other Spaces locations involved in the email thread, that invoice finally went away. Example 2. I left the estimated 90 to 100 square foot office clean, took photos, and had a front desk staffer review the cleanliness. It got a thumbs up. That was 6 weeks ago. They are still holding my original deposit and they are still attempting to charge a $450 restoration fee to a clean office that is basically 4 glass walls, a glass sliding door, and wood floors -- After I had already purchased windex and paper towels and did my own cleaning back at the end of April. According to the corp site, the restoration fee details were to cover things like carpet (no carpet in my office), cleaning walls (just glass and the windex and towels had already been done), IT service (I only used the common Wifi), collection of keys, etc. In short, nothing worth $450 -- which would equate to over 85% of my office rental price! In good faith, I offered $50 just to settle this. Apparently they are not allowing me space to further debate this charge because I was told today they will likely deduct that $450 restoration fee from the office deposit. Sad because I had considered signing up for another year when my next production moved forward. This is just too much reliance on what a computer says and not enough room for the front desk to better serve people in person. This better explains why other people had issues when moving out and why so many offices are vacant.

Just read the fine print when you sign up.

2023-10-25 20:32:15Conference Room at Spaces: A Highly Satisfactory ExperiencePros:• State-of-the-Art Glass Chalkboard: Fully stocked with erasers, markers, and cleaner, providing an exceptional writing experience.• Comfortable Temperature: The air conditioning is functional and well-maintained, ensuring a cool atmosphere.• Abundant Natural Light: Despite being an interior unit, the room is bathed in natural sunlight throughout the day.• Seating: The room comes with 8 comfortable chairs that enhance the meeting experience.• Modern Amenities: A sleek television with easily accessible front plugs eliminates any technical hassle. You can also draw on the television, although we didnt use this feature.• Customizable Lighting: The lights are dimmable and low voltage, offering full adjustability to suit your needs.• Exceptional Staff: The team is welcoming and considerate, treating all guests as valued clients.• Clean Facilities: Bathrooms and other amenities are well-kept, adding to the overall positive impression.• Value for Money: The unit is competitively priced, providing good value for its location and the size of the room. They also didnt rush us out the door at 5 or try to up charge or overcharge us in anyway.Final Thoughts:Overall, the conference room at Spaces provides a premium, well-equipped, and comfortable environment for any type of meeting or event.

2024-05-02 19:43:17Due yourself a favor and avoid this place like the plague. My experience went from bad to worse. I was so happy to get out of there at the end of last year. I worked out of several co-working spaces in Los Angeles and this one was by far the worst. They only care about taking your money and have no regard for you. Any issues you bring up are met with disdain or indifference. Spend your money elsewhere, where youll be treated like a human being.

2024-02-28 02:03:13Dear Regus/Spaces:I hope this correspondence finds you well. Regrettably, my experience at your West Hollywood facility has compelled me to bring to your attention a litany of grievances that have marred what should have been a professional and seamless association.Upon my initial foray into your premises, the lack of professionalism was glaringly evident. The conduct of the security personnel consistently veered towards rudeness and unpleasantness, fostering an unwelcoming atmosphere that persisted throughout my tenure. Such behavior is incongruent with the standards one would expect from a reputable establishment.A particularly disconcerting facet of my experience was the persistent hassle surrounding the retrieval of my mail. The inordinate delays and the undue pressure to formalize an agreement before gaining access to my correspondence were wholly unwarranted. Furthermore, despite repeated requests for timely notifications regarding incoming mail, I was met with a regrettable lack of communication, leaving me uninformed and frustrated. The prolonged renovation period of the premises further exacerbated my discontent. Fluctuating conditions, such as the unavailability of air conditioning in the main room on certain days, created an environment that was far from conducive to productive work. Additionally, assurances of imminent internet access in the back deck went unfulfilled, compounding the operational challenges I faced.Inexplicably, during the midst of our agreement, I was informed of a mandatory requirement to complete a form from the post office under the threat of having my mail returned. This bureaucratic hurdle, concerning the very service for which I was remitting payment, resulted in the regrettable return of my mail to the sender—an action for which I possess incontrovertible proof. As circumstances have necessitated the closure of my company, I sought the compassionate termination of our agreement due to hardship. Unfortunately, my entreaty was summarily denied, demonstrating a lack of empathy for the challenges faced by your clients. Furthermore, a proposal to settle the outstanding balance in full, accompanied by a modest request for a discount, was met with an inflexible stance. The consistent absence of personnel at the front desk has only compounded the communication challenges Ive encountered. The overall experience, characterized by poor communication and service, has been nothing short of the worst professional engagement I have ever had.I trust that this communication will prompt a thorough investigation into the issues raised and an earnest effort to rectify the shortcomings that have tarnished your otherwise esteemed reputation. I appreciate your prompt attention to this matter.Sincerely,

2023-04-04 00:15:21I came here for the day to get some work done and I couldn’t be more pleased with the service and workspace. Javier welcomed me with Starbucks, gave me a tour, helped me with the Wi-Fi and showed me the different options of where I could work for the day. I felt so welcomed and will be back during my week long stay from Chicago! Highly recommend coming to Space to work for the day!

2023-12-14 23:54:37We have since moved out of our small office. We cleaned it so it was cleaner than when we moved in and they charged us $385 to move out and are holding a $5,400 retainer for 45 days - 3X our monthly rent. So many other tenants have also moved out, fed up with the truly horrible service and Regus attitude, they try to have a cool perception but they do is take advantage of the tenants. Weve had nothing but a poor experience here. We were the first tenant a year and a half ago. During the later summer, there was no Internet / wi-fi access and no air conditioning for approximately three weeks and the management said it would not credit the tenants while we couldnt use our offices for business. They changed the policy of having a free community conference room for tenants once we moved in even though it was part of their sales pitch. The janitors use harsh, toxic cleaning materials to clean the main lounge / workspace area at 3 PM in the middle of the business day while we are trying to use the same area instead of doing it after business hours. The parking is crazy expensive - $250 per month (they mark-up the parking from the price parking vendor charges). I give them one star just because the rent is reasonable. All I hear is complaints from other tenants who are not renewing their leases. The manager, Marcos, uses retaliation tactics when he doesnt like a tenant - he purposely threw away our food in the freezer in the community fridge. When it was time to renew, they wanted to raise the rent quite a bit even though its empty here. There are so many better options in the area. They just dont understand customer service. This is really just corporate Regus trying to masquerade as being cool. They send out marketing emails saying they want to help small businesses grow and they care about the environment, but their business practices dont reflect the same. I guess thats why the occupancy is so low.

2023-11-03 16:03:47ASK for Marcos!!! He helped me find the perfect office for my needs. They were kind enough to help me move some furniture into my office. There are views of the Hollywood sign and the common space is always clean.

2023-03-08 00:49:43I am extremely pleased with the decision I made end of last year to relocate my office. First, Krista was extremely understanding and she went beyond her duty to help me out and get me a place that was close to my residence with a great price! Second, I met with Paul and we clicked extremely quickly and we both started having fun and joking around and that pretty much sealed the deal for me to sign a contract for two years!!! Next came Marcos and Evelyn into the picture as they have been extremely helpful, great to work with, and they both allow professionals renting the space be extremely relaxed and enjoy their stay. Recently, Javier has joins the setup for Evelyn and nothing has changed at all. Working with him has been great and enjoyable. If you are interested in leasing a workspace, I would recommend you to just give Spaces a shot! You will not be disappointed. We are all in West Hollywood!!!
