I could not give a more glowing review for Jeff Eisenberg. I am a first time home buyer and I couldn’t have done it without Jeff. After searching for weeks to find a reputable lender and broker, I’m so glad I found Jeff. He made the whole process quick and painless and wanted what was best for my partner and I. He is incredibly knowledgeable, made himself available anytime for questions, and not only explained the process every step of the way, but took the time to teach me, so I could make well informed decisions.This was my first time working with Cindy, and she was nothing less than a miracle worker. I had a very tough situation with my loan and she went above and beyond to make it happen. She was incredibly communicative, organized, professional, and also very kind. We met Jeff personally first, then found out later he was a loan broker and realtor. I was hesitant to do business with a friend but decided to give him and Cindy at Southern Oaks Mortgage a try. I was so happy I did. I priced my loan with five other banks and credit unions. This wasn’t my first refi and I knew I had great credit; it was literally going to be about the best deal. I then brought my best offer to Jeff and I didn’t think he would be able to touch it. Jeff was easily able to beat the best offer I found. The rate was much better, the closing costs were lower and the personal service between Jeff and Cindy are unmatched. I was dealing with my previous mortgage holder about refinancing and I kept getting someone different to talk to, it was never the same person, not with Jeff and Cindy. Jeff truly does care about each of his customers. Everyone Jeff had us come in contact with, from the appraiser to the escrow officer couldn’t be more professional or friendlier and their pricing was lower than the costs I had seen with the bigger banks. Our loan is closed, we have auto payment set up and no more worries. If I ever refi or need another mortgage, Jeff at Southern Oaks Mortgage is my first call.

Southern Oaks Mortgage and Jeff Eisenberg are miracle workers. I had a very tough situation and tried several other mortgage companies, but they all didnt want to take the time or effort to handle my loan. Right from the get go, Jeff took the reins and worked very hard at trying to figure out how he could make this loan work. I had many complex issues going on and he was available day and night and the weekends to handle all my questions and concerns....He even dealt with my Accountant who was on a different time zone and made things easier for me. I was actually in jeopardy of losing my house and he was very caring and helpful and wanted to make it happen to help me out. Jeffs assistant Cindy was also amazing as she went above and beyond to get information pulled from HUD as the home I was refinancing was a manufactured home and the tags were unreadable. Overall, the experience was first rate and I know that I couldnt have gotten this service anywhere else. Southern Oaks Mortgage is great. I have used Jeff for every mortgage and refinance since 2000. (Well, except for one - it was a disaster) That covers about 7 different loan transactions. I just finished up a loan with them this week. Their communication is fantastic through the whole process. And they find the best rate out there for you. Honestly, I have no idea how they do it all. Actually, I do: Cindy! We ran into quite a few problems with the sellers agent, who was inexperienced. Jeff and Cindy were there every step of the way, catching and fixing errors and answering her questions. What other lender is willing to talk to the other partys agent? They go above and beyond. When it comes to finances, everyone wants to get the best deal, right? This is where my story is an important example. My mother passed away in May 2016. After a lengthy and stressful probate, it was time to buy my family member out of his share of the home. My son and I went to our credit union, Premier America, and they did very little if anything to help us out with a loan. Adding insult to injury, our family has banked with them for over thirty years, we have excellent credit, and the house was paid for! Jeff is an amazing lender and did a fantastic job for my clients.My clients were approved with another lender of their choice and they had given that lender their tax returns, pay check stubs, and bank statements and had been told that they had a solid loan and could start looking. After a couple months of looking they finally found the house they felt was perfect for their family only to find out within a week that they didnt actually qualify for the loan. This lender had never looked through all of their paperwork until the offer was accepted.That is when Jeff stepped in and walked them through the entire process of qualifying them for a loan.Jeff stayed in constant contact from beginning to end. We were introduced to Jeff through a family member who spoke very highly of him. We were originally considering going through a direct lender but working with Jeff and his team proved to be the best option possible. While anyone can put together a loan packet for approval, Jeff and his team went the extra ten miles for us. They made sure our packet was good for submission the first time around, they answered every possible question/concern we had about the whole process, they gave us advice on how to choose the correct rates/credits for our situation, they called frequently to keep us updated on the process. On top of ALL OF THAT they said we should be getting a lot of mail in the coming weeks and to call them on anything concerning regarding the house to make sure we dont sign up for things unnecessary (most people would say bye bye when the sale is done..but not Southern Oaks). I had been renting my house for a couple of years on a first-option-to-buy-type lease. I previously qualified for and tried to purchase my home using my landlords mortgage broker. However, as a self-employed doctoral student with an out-of-state co-borrower, I ran into numerous issues due to my complicated circumstances. Though my landlord was an investor whod acquired the house through a complex short-sale, and it had suffered numerous value changes throughout the prior years of market insanity, my situation was seemingly too much for the referred mortgage company. I put the word out through friends and acquaintances in the real estate community that I needed a good representative who could handle a tough job. After a few email referrals and phone calls, I connected with Southern Oaks Mortgage rep Tony Bellah, and his mentor, Jeff Eisenberg. Tony was responsive, informed, and available throughout the initial process, answering all of my questions, however inane.After the initial intake process, as the unique complications of my situation slowly surfaced, Jeff and his in-office associate, Cindy, became more and more involved. As promised, every possible problem and idiosyncratic issue seemed to arise, but neither Jeff nor Cindy ever faltered in the efforts, availability, or positive attitude. Youd think they had no other clients, or certainly none as important, the way they jumped on every need, immediately. Upon appraisal, when the house was valued $25,000 below market (and $15K below sellers asking price), Jeff pioneered an appeal process (twice) which inevitably resulted in a proper appraisal at full market value. This unparalleled appraisal process, along with my cryptic labyrinth of verifiable income, lender rate manipulations, and establishment of co-borrow relationship resulted in a four-month escrow.However, Jeff and Cindy actually got it done! And, they did it at a great fixed interest rate, for the agreed upon sale price, jumping through every possible hoop to lock in the best possible terms throughout the life of the mortgage. They stayed with me well after the close of escrow, following up to make sure everything dropped into its proper grooves, and offering their continued interest, compassion, and assistance, as needed. After 2-1/2 years, I finally OWN MY HOUSE! Three mortgage payments in, and Im still adjusting to the wonderful reality. I am eternally grateful to Jeff, Cindy, and Tony for earnestly facilitating the most demanding, invasive, complicated, and stressful accomplishment Ive ever realized in my very full life.

I have to say Cindy and Jeff made the impossible happen. We closed the loan on my new home in only 23 days even though the builder had 45 days.
