2024-04-30 19:20:33This dealership has been nothing but a headache since we bought our car here. First, we had an issue with the financing department.We traded in and bought a new (used) car. Both parties (dealer & buyer) signed everything and we left. Well my husband got a phone call two day later and it’s the guy from financing saying that we need to come in and speak with him and his manager because something wasn’t right with our paperwork. We were so confused but loaded up our kids drove over there twice( 45min drive). He sat us down and said that the bank didn’t give them all of the money for our vehicle so we need to pay an additional $4,000 to the dealership, on top of that they need to write up a new contract and we will be paying literally $300 more than our original agreement! And they said they will be removing the 4 year warranty that we originally got for the vehicle.He tried to negotiate with us and give us two weeks to come up with $4,000. I told him absolutely not and to give me my old car back if they are planning on breaching the contract because we will not be signing any new contracts and will not be paying more than what was originally agreed on. after I reacted the way I did he went to go talk to to some men in suits. Then he comes back and says “ok I’ll call you guys in two days”. The issue was resolved when we decided to not wait two days and demanded the issue be fixed or give us back our car. I believe the head of finance fixed everything, explained the situation and drew up a new contract. we were very satisfied when we left after that (thanks Linda).The second issue right at the moment is the sunroof/moonroof installation on our 2020 Subaru ascent SUV. The sunroof that was installed looks like it belongs on an old broke down cheap sedan and not on an 2020 Subaru ascent SUV and upon purchasing the vehicle we were told that the sun/moon roof will be one for a Subaru ascent SUV (I’ll be posting pictures below) and whoever worked on the car left foot marks and dirty adult size hand prints on the inner roof of our car (we have light interior). I’m still waiting for them to get back to me. Hopefully they resolve this issue asap. I’m very upset with this dealership and have never dealt with such inconveniences.I really didn’t expect this out of a Lexus dealership and was so excited to purchase a vehicle from them but now I’m just very disappointed.Update: dealership keeps telling me to contact them but doesn’t respond.

2024-05-25 13:09:01I just had the most wonderful experience with South County Lexus.Al Kahn and Eric Hudson made our day.I work as a technician for a luxury brand, so I know how high pressure sales can be, but these guys at South County Lexus were the opposite of high pressure. This was the most relaxed and enjoyable car buying experience Ive ever had. Even though I was shopping for a low price budget car (2017 Ford CMax) they treated me like I was buying a new Lexus or luxury used car.I was looking for a bargain daily driver to replace my wifes car that was recently totaled out in an accident.I knew what used car I wanted and had been searching the Internet for weeks when I came across the perfect car at South County Lexus. This car had lower miles and its model year was newer than all the other cars I was finding online in my price range. I thought it was too good to be true.But it was true. The car was the perfect car for my wife at a great price.

2024-04-29 23:39:33I have for the last 30 years driven a Mercedes, but his time I wanted to test drive a Lexus. I test drove a 2023 RX 350 and fell in love with it.I didnt want to make a hasty decision and decided not to buy it until I went back to the Mercedes dealer of Newport Beach and check out their SUV model again.I ended up deciding to buy the Lexus and have been in heaven ever since.Hakan, our salesman never pushed us and since he use to work for Mercedes dealer, he knew all about their models and explained to me the differences between both models. He was so knowledgeable and so patient with us that we plan to use only him in the future.Finace part was also so seamless and painless.Highly recommend this Mission Viejo dealership. I get texts, emails and phone messages when it is time for the cars check up.The mechanics are just as friendly as the rest of the staff.100% happy with my purchase and with my experience.

Nathan and Al handled our purchase and guided us through the process going above and beyond. The sales process was totally transparent from start to finish. They located the exact RX 350H we eventually purchased at another dealership which was delivered to South County Lexus within hours and ready for us to take delivery the next day. 2024-03-31 03:40:00Had an awesome experience at South County Lexus as a first time buyer. Johnnie Garcia and the team made the late afternoon 4 hour trip from the Central Valley well worth while. They were super helpful throughout the entire process, provided great hospitality, and were willing to work late hours to close this out the same day. Extremely satisfied with my experience. Definitely recommend this dealership!

2024-04-02 23:05:00I am trying to purchase a vehicle from out of state and I get the feeling the Internet Director doesnt want to deal with it. I got super fast response when I inquired about the vehicle with a quick price quote. I stated that I was out of state in Tennessee and I would pay the sales tax when I registered for tags locally, but I needed help with a recommended shipper and also asked for pictures since none were on the website. I never got a response for one day, so I emailed on day two and he did respond with a question asking for my address, but we are now 6 hours later and crickets again. I have called 3 different shippers and received quotes within 5 minutes, but its taking this dude all day. So I guess I just have to forget it and move on to the next vehicle that I am interested in.

2024-06-21 15:33:12South County Lexus (SCL) is a stand up operation. I contacted SCL via telephone in reference to a used Lexus GX 460. I spoke to Zoe Shetley (internet sales manager), she explained the car wasnt ready for showing but, would be available Thursday. I hopped a train and headed South Thursday. I saw and test drove the GX. It still needed detailed, which I was fine with. They provided a loaner vehicle (2024 RX F sport!) and explained in two days they would have a driver would drop the car off to me and pick up the F-sport (unheard of right). The GX was returned to me and the detail of the car was not to my expectation and the leather on the driver seat was not in stellar condition. I called back to SCL and spoke to Johnnie Garcia (sales manager) this was a good thing because Johnnie and I both served in the Navy. Johnnie had me send some pics and agreed it wasnt to standard. The next day Zoe and Roy Tunno (ops director) gave me a calI. I had options to have the car picked up with another loaner or drop off. I chose to drop it off because I have a Uncle that lives down there. When I went to pick the vehicle up it was immaculate! I got to speak with Dave Varga (upholstery and detail tech), the gentleman responsible for making it immaculate, he shared some tricks of the trade and was a pleasure to talk to! The leather on the driver seat had totally been replaced, there was a Lexus rep and Roy showed them my seat and somehow someway agreed to replace the leather. This is not cheap and I assure you isnt the norm. Upon getting ready to start and drive away the battery died. Zoe went and got Fred a service manager and replaced the battery. So the reason for the 5 star review. Zoe was amazing, she was with me throughout the process, she really communicated well and kept me in the know. When I had a issue the entire management got involved with making my SCL experience notable. At any point they could of pointed out they sold me the car as is. They did not, instead, not only did they meet my expectation but, exceeded it! SCL has all the hallmarks of a organization with strong leadership and a commitment to their customers. Thank you Zoe, Johnnie, Roy, Dave, Fred and the rest of the Team at SCL for making my SCL experience grand!!

2024-05-27 23:40:14Bait and switch method.. Saw car online, spoke to Mike Michael Flores about the car, scheduled an appointment to see car the same day, arrived saying it was just sold this morning. Didnt even get a call to inform it was sold. At least show some courtesy and respect to your customer!!! I drove over an hour to get there. Dont ever deal with Mike, the internet director, just a pretentious title, still need permission from the manager when negotiating prices. He is not very unresponsive. Does not call you back. All car posted online, I suspect are used to lure you to the dealership. It isnt available.
