I had some old gold laying around from years ago, which I dont want anymore, so I decided to sell it while the price of gold was high. Did some research on whos paying the most and even called a place in downtown LA and South Bay Jewelry and loan surprised me with a MUCH better offer then about 5 or 6 other places I called. They were very nice and trustworthy as I put them through a simple test to gage their honesty and they passed. John, the owner is really nice and very easy to talk with. Hes not Sharkey like most others in this business and he takes his time to explain everything. I went home, checked out everything he was saying and it checked out to be true. Cant say enough about this easy process and felt or actually knew, that I received a better deal here then the other places I called. If I need to in the future, I will definitely go back. I highly recommend this place and for what its worth, that says a lot coming from me, as I dont usually write reviews, but they deserved this one.

And if I’m leaving 5 stars, it’s because the bussiness I’m giving it to has proven to be worth every single one of those stars. This shop is not just the best around here, it’s the best period. They have always been able to help me out and have me leaving more Than satisfied every time. They are friendly, they work with you, they offer the most for your stuff and have great prices if you are shopping around.After coming here, I find it pointless to go anywhere else. This place is a hole in the wall. You can find anything, I bought a MK watch for cheap and the owner replaced batteries for $5.00. This place is pack on Thanksgiving day they have huge sales going on every year. Judy was very nice and helpful. I recommend this place.

This place has helped me out for years . The people at this pawnshop are amazing and professional. I been to a lot of pawnshops around the Lawndale area and they simply dont compare. I remember the first time I came in with my son to get my guitar out and the gentleman behind the counter gave my son a nice hot wheels car . My son was so happy. I’ve been coming here for a little over two years and the owner and staff are always helpful and courteous towards me. The first time I came here the owner took the time to actually sit down and answer all the questions my girlfriend and I had about an item we were getting into collecting. Since then this is the only place I’ll trust with my collection of Gibson Les Paul guitars. I must drive past a dozen other jewelry and loan stores to get here but it’s worth it.Here’s an update. South Bay Pawn is still my go to pawn shop. I’m in the process of moving 150 miles away but will still travel to South Bay. They have my total trust.

Best Pawn Shop I have ever used! Always professional and offer the best amounts on Pawn Loans or outright buys. Has an extensive and diverse selection of quality items in store. Anything from instruments to computers to jewelry and everything in between. I especially love their mobile app so I can keep an eye out for great deals without having to go onsite (which was great during the lockdowns). I have taken out multiple loans whenever I need a little extra money to get me to payday.

Friendly staff and they have a mobile Pawn app that other pawnshops I know dose not have. Plus, on that MobilePawn app, it gives you an alert before the maturity date, and it will allow you for one more month to renew, or get your items out like watches, cameras, rings, etc.
