10/10 would recommend, especially for an event at Ardenwood Historic Farm in Fremont. We found David through the recommended vendors list from Ardenwood Events where we had our wedding 2 weeks ago. David was quick to respond to our request for pricing, and even gave us a discount and a free photo booth. We were very late in giving him the information he needed, and he was still very professional and did a fantastic job. The day of the wedding, everything worked seamlessly (all music and microphones). He worked with us on the fly as we changed our mind and decided to have the entire wedding party announced at the grand entrance, rather than just us. He nailed all 14+ names perfectly with only a couple minutes notice. We had about 1 hour and 15 minutes on the dance floor, and he stayed true to the vibe we requested and got everyone to dance. Ive actually never been to a wedding where 100% of guests were dancing, but we got there for a song or two. We didnt originally want a photo booth, but we are actually very happy to have had one after all. Overall I 100% recommend David for your DJ/MC needs. Thank you David!

David was the best to work with! He has the best services and prices no one else can beat. Our wedding was in June and we had a completely unexpected shower before our ceremony start. My walk down the aisle almost didn’t happen where we wanted it to (outdoor garden area) and we were honestly crushed as we loved the scenery. David quickly dried out his equipment and made it work though and the rain stopped just in time as well. His photobooth is amazing, worked well without a fault. His remix of the songs for the dance floor was amazing as well. He was always kind, polite, and professional. Recommend David for your wedding!

David did an amazing job as the DJ at my wedding! Kept the day flowing really well, kept us on schedule, and played awesome music that kept everyone dancing all night! I also love that he came with a photo booth which our guests had tons of fun with. Easy to work with, responsive, and friendly. Would definitely recommend. He even had a system for guests to request songs through a QR code which kept it COVID-safe. We picked a majority of the music, but David filled in the rest with great music to keep everyone having fun. Highly recommend!

David was incredible to work with! He was super friendly, detailed, and responsive. From the first meeting we knew we were in good hands. When we found a first dance song we loved that was a little slow, he helped adjust the tempo for us which was some kind of magic. His online gig builder was super easy to use and allowed us to pick songs that were significant for our guests. We love music and had tons of songs on our list but we told him it was in his control to play whatever he felt the vibe was and he was incredible. Our guests kept wanting to get up and dance during dinner and the party was non stop the whole reception. We got tons of compliments on the music from our guests! The photo booths at cocktail hour and reception were a hit and having those memories is priceless. Our monogram on the tent ceiling really set the mood.

David was amazing! He provided three services for our wedding. He was our minister for the ceremony, the DJ during our reception, and his wife also ran a photo booth. My wife and I highly recommend their services. Leading up to our wedding day, David provided incredibly helpful suggestions in planning our ceremony and reception. In addition to the phone calls and emails, communicating all the details was made very simple through an online portal. It made selecting music and building out our ceremony and reception easy. My wife and I loved the speech he prepared for our ceremony and our guests all loved the music and photo booth. We gladly recommend their services to our family, friends, and anyone planning a wedding.

We worked with David for our wedding on 10/2/21 and we couldnt have asked for a better DJ! He was very attentive to our must plays, dont plays, wedding day timeline, and the vibe that we were going for. The biggest testament to Davids skills was that our dance floor was packed all night! David was very nice, knowledgable, and professional. Wed recommend him to anyone!

David was excellent. He did a great job ensuring our wedding reception ran smoothly, which enabled us to enjoy our night without having to worry about anything. We really appreciated the time that David took to meet with us, in advance, to discuss our music tastes and understand what we were looking for in our wedding reception. I appreciated his professionalism and guidance to tailor the songs we did want to use into our event. He did a great job mixing the music to fit the crowd.

We had Sound Wave Mobile DJ officiate and DJ our wedding, and we could not be happier. David took all our suggestions on music all the way up to near the wedding date. Music is and was a huge part of my wife and Is success of this wedding, and they knocked it out of the park. I was able to make my suggestions, and just sit back and enjoy the terrific mix. The photo booth was well worth the extra, and we will always be able to go back and enjoy the personal photos of all our guests. Thanks to this great team!

David and his photo booth team made our special day more memorable than we could possibly dream of.We love the music and vibe that he projected and everyone complimented on the photo booth/ DJ services. We are already getting so much from just looking at the photo booth pictures, they are priceless. The attendants are amazing, very friendly/professional. Highly recommend David for both DJ & photo booth services, best investment!!!We absolutely also love the monogram floor projection and the photo booth strip design he created. The designs were one of a kind and fit our Great Gatsby themed wedding perfectly

We hired David as our MC/DJ and run our photobooth for our wedding in August 2016 and he and his team were amazing to work with. David is the consummate professional and attentive to every single aspect of the wedding. His website for music selection was very easy to use, he constantly checked in with us and walked through the timeline and music selection well in advance. He was very flexible with us on how we wanted our photos to look for the photobooth and re-did the template several times to make it perfect. He even went all the way to Petaluma to scout out our venue and came back with the perfect uplighting recommendations for the barn. I couldnt recommend David more and definitely look forward to working with him again in the future.

We had the pleasure of having David be our DJ for our wedding reception in December and we HIGHLY recommend his services! He is a true professional in every sense of the word, and he is such a great vendor to work with. He is easy to communicate with, and is very detailed to make sure that the party goes smoothly. His attention to details shows how experienced he is, and this decreases the stress from planning knowing that the timing of the night are being handled and checked off by David’s planning.He has this on-line planner that’s very user friendly and it covers pretty much all the aspects of the events and timing of the wedding. From the cocktail hour, to entrance, to games, to dinner, to speeches, to first dance, Mother/Son and Father/Daughter, money dance, etc., it all can be planned on-line! It’s so great, because David looks at it and helps make adjustments based on events he’s done in the past that have worked well. You can even upload a playlist of music for cocktail hour as well as for the free dance, as well as putting songs that you DON’T want to hear at all during the event!As a DJ, David is automatic with choosing the right songs to get the crowd involved. I have older Filipino aunties and uncles, and David had songs lined up for them so they can Cha Cha! I didn’t even have to ask him to!Another service David offers that we got was the photo both. David’s set-up is the best! I highly suggest upgrading to the “open-air” Photo Booth just so you can fit bigger groups of people in pictures. The props he offers are high quality, as in many of them are wooden and not flimsy plastic. There was one prop that was a car that was a hit and we saw many groups use it! The bonus thing about David’s photo booth is that the pictures also get uploaded to a personal on-line gallery that guests can view and download to post on social media!Again, I highly recommend David and Sound Wave Mobile DJ for their event!

This review is for both DJ/MC and Photobooth services, both are solid 5 stars !! Ah, also the uplighting as well!!This review is coming much too late, but something definitely had to be said about how pleased we were working with David for our wedding last month April8th at Nella Terra.From the beginning, David was on top of everything and answered all our questions so that we were able to make the best selection for our day. My husband, my mother in law, and I knew that we picked the right person after meeting up with him to go over the wedding day details/timeline, he was absolutely patient and personable.He guided me through the selection and provided me advice, but still let me personalized my list of songs 100%. On the wedding day, he went above and beyond the expectations. He was on top of everything, perfect timing.. he managed to slow it down when it needed to slow down and get everyone dancing/engaging in the fun games when it was time. We picked some songs and gave him the liberty to do his thing and he didnt disappoint!We could not be happier with David for his services, people enjoyed the photo-booth SO MUCH than I usually see at other weddings I have attended. David was the DJ at my wedding on October 2, 2014. He did such an outstanding job for me. I couldnt have asked for a better DJ. His music selection is GREAT! My husband had a few Interesting requests, and he was able to play them, which made him a happy husband.I had moments where I wasnt as on top of things as I should have been the closer it got to the date of the wedding, but David was patient and very kind and understanding. He even helped as much as he could in making my day that much easier.He is the DJ to hire for ANY event, especially a wedding!!

David is ACTUALLY INCREDIBLE WOWWWWW!! We hired him last minute, and he was so professional!! I would be sending him emails late in the night, and he would respond quickly! Even later in the night! I dont know how he does it- his work ethic is unparalleled. We also had extra music requirements to make it kid friendly, and he went through 1000s of songs to make the PERFECT PLAYLIST!! Im truly impressed!!

His event planning platform was easy to use and his photobooth the star of the evening. Im so glad we were able to find him. David Gomes was our DJ for our company holiday party!! He was FANTASTIC!!! I think I told him about 10 times throughout the evening! The music was phenomenol!!! Everyone had a blast and lots of people danced, which with our group is saying a lot!! I highly highly highly reccommend him to anyone needing a DJ.

These guys are phenomenal! Theyre incredibly helpful if you need suggestions for specific parts of the evening and their website makes it easy to assemble all the songs you want (or specifically dont want) played through the evening. The music flowed perfectly and they did great as Master of Ceremonies.
