When I think of the Soul Of Yoga, I think of love. The highly skilled teachers that teach various yoga classes and teacher trainings are true masters of their craft. I feel so grateful to have experienced the 200 hour teacher training, multiple yoga and sound healing classes through the Soul Of Yoga.I can honestly say I have has never been disappointed with a class. If you want to give yourself a gift of a lifetime, I highly recommend the 200 hour teacher training program. Flossy Park is a gift to this world and being her student is truly an honor and an experience I will never forget. Highly recommend Soul if youre looking to educate yourself, connect with your higher self and find a supportive yoga community.

Soul of yoga in Encinitas has some of the best instructors I’ve ever experienced. The yoga rooms are beautifully clean and never too crowded (I appreciate that!) & the overall “environment” is deeply peaceful. I simply love this place!

Ive been out of the country 2 years and planned my trip back around making sure I could attend a few of Merry Trentadues classes while Im here: thats how much I LOVE her Yin Yoga classes. The sound healing with it makes it very special. The room setup with lights across ceiling just adds to overall ambience. I always float out of the room after one her classes.

I love Soul of Yoga. They have amazing teachers and practices. Their pre natal with Amy is the best pre natal in San Diego. Every instructor there is so helpful and experienced. You truly get a whole body, mind, and soul experience not just a regular workout. Love it.

When I first entered the “Soul of Yoga” studio in Encinitas, my first thought was “I came home.” The feeling of love and light washes over you at the door. The energy of this place is light, positive, inspiring and beautiful. This studio is newly renovated, and it feels new, clean and airy. After a month of trying different classes, I was so in love with this place, I signed up for teacher training classes. It was the best decision ever. The first module was amazing!!!!! I loved every second of it. The studio went way beyond regular teacher training and presented us with the five star education. All the teachers are professionals with a vast knowledge about yoga. The Asana classes are probably my favorite right now. I am learning so much. And the teachers are ALL simply the best ones I’ve ever met. Do your self a favor and join this studio. There is so much love, care, knowledge and thought put into running this beautiful place. Yoga became my passion thanking to the “Soul of Yoga” and I thank you for that!

I really enjoy the authenticity of this place. A great variety classes and disciplines, yoga, meditation, sound healing, and the list goes on. The space is really beautiful and not too serious or overly designed, which I personally prefer. The studios are large, calm, clean and often the wide doors to outside is open so we enjoy the class with fresh air. Theres a shop inside which has a variety of yoga items from candles to clothing. Friendly staff and knowledgeable teachers. I prefer a place like this over a commercial yoga studio, theres a bigger sense of community and its definitely my favourite place for some time out.

Soul of Yoga advertises that they have the most meaningful online yoga classes around -- and they do! I live in Phoenix, AZ but spent a few days in Carlsbad, CA and decided to take a local yoga class rather than practice (online) with the studio back home. I was so impressed that Ive cancelled my 17-year membership at my Phoenix yoga studio and have joined the online community at Soul. My practice has both diversified and energized once again! I have been practicing yoga for about 13 years and have practiced at studios ALL over the world (and San Diego). Soul of Yoga is by far one of the most premier studios I have attended, which is why I continue to come back. I find that each teacher has cultivated a very strong practice of their own and communicate that to their students beautifully. I like the Soul of Yoga, because a lot of teachers also focus on the spiritual aspects of Yoga not just the movement part, which I think goes hand in hand and is very important. A lot of yoga studios in Encinitas focus only on movement.They also have a good mix of all different kinds of yoga styles, which is nice.

I ❤️ Everything about Soul of Yoga. I tried a class a few months ago as I knew the instructor and get anxious paying for yoga (I teach and have overpaid for mass produced yoga which makes me sad) and quickly bought a package and go at least twice a week. I even did an online class and then the recording when my work was testing my sanity!It’s amazing that they pivoted so quickly with the COVID-19 and turned the space into an outdoor refuge. I have gone to several types of classes and appreciate the physical and spiritual benefits.

I have been working out pretty much my whole life, and now at age 70 something, I find that I really enjoy the benefits of yoga. I am a member of LA Fitness, and have been for several years. But I really dont like their yoga classes; not because of the instructors, but because of the atmosphere of the room; bright (not allowed to dim the lights), crowded, and a big window that looks out to the cardio machines on the gym floor. Over the years I have tried other yoga studios, but none that have caught my fancy enough to join until I tried the Soul of Yoga. And Im so glad I did. This is what real yoga is all about; something not only for the body, but for the heart and soul as well. So I joined there with a limited package deal, and I am really enjoying it. They have great instructors, with inspiring things to say, a big pleasant studio, classes of all levels all day long, training, workshops, and more. Its the best yoga studio Ive ever seen!

One of my favorite places to practice yoga, Soul of Yoga offers a large assortment of classes. I typically find myself at the vinyasa arts classes for a strong and steady yoga practice, along with the wonderful monthly sound heeling for deep relaxation. I feel really lucky to have one day walked by the Soul of Yoga institute, and have noticed it! I got impressed by how many flyers with different upcoming activities were hanged at the door. I was looking for a good place to attend meditation sessions, and this is THE place! I love the Sound Healing sessions, the crystal bowls ones, and the Yoga Nidra. The instructors are all impressive! Oh, the Full Moon ceremonies are also a must!

As a travel nurse all around western united states, I have done many types of yoga at countless studios... this on has really spoken to my heart. I have enjoyed their variety of yoga classes as well as a didgeridoo class, a spiritual mastery class, various sound therapy classes, various workshops and full moon ceremonies, & finally considering taking a YTT course this coming year with some of my favorite instructors here. Ive been doing yoga in Encinitas, for close to a decade, and have practiced at the vast majority of the studios here, but had never stepped foot inside Soul of Yoga prior to last month. When I walked in, I could tell that this would be my new home for yoga. The classes here are so much more than a workout...the teachers are all on a path of spiritual awakening, and they hold space for the students who wish the same. This is a vital community in Encinitas, and, in my opinion, it is exercising the best method possible for making the world a better place to live in.

I love this studio. I took my Reiki level 111 and Master training here and it was wonderful. Ive also been to a singing bowls class and a Yoga Nidra/Cacao Ceremony and was thrilled with both. Then I started taking the kundalini classes and I was hooked. I love that there is a kundalini class every day, two some days. All of the teachers are amazing and the community of yogis is also really inspiring.The boutique always has something that catches my eye as well. If youre looking for a well rounded studio with a variety of class styles and teachers, Soul is it.

This is a wonderful soul centered studio! Not your mainstream exercise based yoga taught here. The classes are restorative and gentle with sound healing, or from more esoteric lineages like kundalini. They are generous and welcoming and successful! Ive been attending the Prenatal yoga classes since I was 11 weeks. Im currently 33 weeks and needless to say, I am loving the classes! Each class starts with about 10-15 minutes of sharing our name, how many weeks we are and anything wed like to share with the class. This time provides so much encouragement and a sense of community with other expecting or soon to be expecting mamas. The rest of class is a gentle yoga flow, concentrating on breath, fluid movements and ends with a relaxing savasana. I highly recommend this class to all mamas who are preparing their bodies for birth or just need an hour to gently move their ever changing bodies.

There are endless possibilities to create and maintain wellness on so many levels. Mind body soul. They really cover all aspects of yoga on and beyond the mat. Extremely knowledgeable and each class I have taken is mesmerizing. I just melt into another dimension. I feel more connected and inspired. Such a beautiful community of shiny supportive people.From injured to athletic, everyone will benefit. They incorporate medical science and anatomy into their ancient practice to honor the body mind and soul. I have been injuring and hurting myself for over 20 years from trying to honor the pose and NOT my body. The diversity of the teachers and variety of classes, workshops, gatherings, retreats, meditations, teacher trainings and Yoga therapists are intense. After taking their teacher training, there really is no excuse to NOT to embrace yoga. I participated in an online 200 hour Kundalini teacher training with Dana Reece and Guru Amrit. It was such an amazing experience! They are very well educated and I felt the training was just as good as in person.The yoga classes Ive participated in online (from Minnesota) have all been wonderful. I recently joined soul of yoga on a monthly membership after receiving a free class and another free week by attending five different classes. When encouraged to attend something different other than what I was familiar with I benefited and found some classes I really needed and enjoy. One of them is roll and restore with Dre Santana. I also started with Maddie Chapman and continue her classes. I also attend two different levels of Jonathan’s classes. By attending only 15 classes to date I have noticeably toned muscle and lost inches.....My friends have commented too! I attend at my own pace sometimes more sometimes less.Important to me the Encinitas facility has a great vibe!!! Also opportunity to shop clothes and other yogi accessories.

The name says it all: “Soul of Yoga.” I’ve taken yoga classes off and on for years, normally within a hot yoga studio. In the past while practicing in the heat, with my head between my legs, I realize now I was solely focused on breathing so I wouldn’t pass out. :-) I enjoyed pushing myself physically but it was purely physical exercise.Soul of Yoga offers a spiritual exercise that enhances your physical body. Learning about these spiritual connections has changed my life. I’ve started emulating this calmness at home and work. Now lifes stressors flow through me and I’m not attached to the chaos anymore.Also, I’m not a spiritual, hippie kinda of gal. SoI’ll be honest my first couple Kundalini classes, or crystal healing bowl sessions were a bit different. But if I closed my eyes and let my ego leave the room I learned how to surrender to the magic of it all. There is a peaceful presence in each yoga class that keeps me coming back, because I just want to feel more of “that” calmness, it’s the best money I’ve ever spent!

This is a high quality yoga studio with excellent teachers. I have searched various studio in Carlsbad, Oceanside and Vista and have found none that compare. Dana’s vinyasa class is challenging but she gives great corrections and Jonathon’s class is consistently good. Highly recommend!

I am a Hatha Yoga Teacher, have studied and practiced Yoga for (only) ten years as well as worked for a well known Yoga school in Costa Rica. My Teacher’s Teacher was BKS Iyengar, and I am so truly grateful to have found this studio. I absolutely fell in love with this Studio. Im a grandmother and Ive had my share of massages over the years, so I feel qualified to write that I had the best massage of my life at Soul of Yoga with Bhadra. I went in feeling sore and tight, and left feeling as relaxed as my body knows how! Her knowledge seemed extensive; she was able to inform me about her different disciplines (I was curious), but best of all, she was thorough and very intuitive about the areas that needed the most work. Sometimes, she chatted amiably, and other times I was able to zone out and just soak it up. Really, really nice. Ask for Bhadra. In case youve never discovered the Soul of Yoga, the vibe there is very nice, too.

Having transferred over from Vinyasa Arts with the closure of that facility, and moving to Soul of Yoga, its great to be able to access not only my go-to yogi Jonathan Richard, but also have the opportunity to sample other programs. The location is close, the studio clean, and ample parking. Only request is have more specific 2-3 or 3-4 Vinyasa classes with Jonathan during the week!

I am doing my 200 hour Gentle YTT at this studio. It is amazing. The teachers are experienced, wise, and generous. The range of classes is vast. I have taken harp and crystal bowl sound healing, Yin, Hatha, Kundalini, Restorative, and Qi Gong. There is also vinyassa flow and much more. I highly recommend this studio, both for regular practice and as a place to do your teacher training.

This is what I have been missing in my 30 years of looking for a Yoga Home. The teachers and staff are wonderful, kind, open and highly trained; there is a diverse schedule of offerings and many of them combine sound healing with the regular program. Being new to the area, I was beyond excited when a friend suggested that I try it.The other extraordinary offering is the Rancho Sante Fe location which offers many variarions of Sound Healing, Kirtan, or some program everyday at 11:00. Also, Michelle and Ryder offer a fantastic class on Saturday morning at 11:00 and Sunday at 9:00 in Rancho Sante Fe.Cannot say enough good things about this place. Check it out.

I found my home studio, my practice of yoga is a personal at home practice that I was taught in India while growing up. Its deeply spiritual and my Asana practice is strictly a conduit to my meditation practice. I do yoga so I can sit in dhyana for longer periods.Soul to me has the same goal, I have found the deep bhakti and connection in the sadhana here. I believe there a reason I found this place, the universe conspired for my benefit. Infinite love to whoever is looking this up, there is a reason you are. First impression- bad. Yoga class teacher- Morgan showed up, seeing me and my wife first time, didnt say Hello, but she told us to not go to the mat, with some tone that you dont like. Sharing bad vibes, which is awkward. I would never go to this teacher again, or recommend to my friends.
