When we were first discussing a contract, Kathleen assured me that I would not be in the process, as a seller, alone. She never let me down!This was a sometimes tedious experience, frustrating, tiring and often sad but the end result was so positive. Kathleen never lacked insight or excellent judgement. She was always aware of what needed to be done and guided me through each step, allowing me to go at my own pace.When my home sold, on the first day!, it was in large part due to her professionalism, her familiarity with and her keen awareness of the market and where things stood at any given time.And did I mention her very able assistant, Meagan, who was also with us every step of the way?I was so lucky to have had such a positive real estate transaction; I never second-guessed choosing Kathleen Ball to represent me and she will remain my friend as a result.

It is not often that I have the pleasure of working with an experienced and knowledgeable professional like Kathleen Ball. When my husband and I decided to sell our Sea Ranch home, her familiarity with a community that stressed living lightly on the land was immensely helpful. She referred us to craftsmen who were very familiar with the homes in our community as we prepared for the sale. She and her staff were knowledgeable about the systems in Sea Ranch homes including household appliances, lighting, drainage and sewage systems, and the critters who share Sea Ranch with us. Since we purchased the property some years ago, I am certain that the attention to detail of Kathleen and her staff would be equally appreciated by a buyer. Kathleen is a consummate real estate agent.On our first phone contact, Kathleen volunteered that she just finished feeding her dogs. Right there was her calling card. I was at yes: we will work well together. My sale was complex; as a result, Katheen and I negotiated until we got our distinct needs met; that process gave me confidence in her - and in our being a team. Kathleen’s assistant, Meagan, patiently demystified the paper work needed to capture the intricacy of this listing. Once in contract, I knew that Kathleen would find the best buyer. I had no doubts. If I were to say one thing about Kathleen that told me everything about her, it is this. She brought up an unexpected thorny issue at midpoint with the listing on the market. It was the way she said, “I know how to handle this situation,” that released any apprehension in me. I knew in that moment that Kathleen was a pro and expert in her work. It was her integrity and trust in our relationship that she told me about the issue. I have worked with too many professionals who wanted me to help them do their job. Not Kathleen. Kathleen is terrific. We have known her for twenty years, so when we decided to purchase in Sonoma she was the first (and only!) person we turned to. She has all of the local knowledge and real estate expertise that you would expect, and she was patient with our evolving search requirements. But what really makes Kathleen special is her encyclopedic knowledge of resources in Sonoma. We needed a contractor. Kathleen suggested an excellent contractor (who was available and economical!). And the help did not stop after we closed on a house. We needed a veterinarian. She connected us with one who made an exception to their “no new patients” to take on a client of Kathleen’s. We needed an orthopedist, and Kathleen connected us with someone who had personal experience with a local orthopedist. With Kathleen, you are not just getting an excellent real estate agent; you are getting a relationship with an expert local consultant.
