Sophie is a values driven, trustworthy mentor/motivator. She leads with her heart, values, and skills. Our daughter has been deeply inspired and motivated by Sophie’s leadership/mentorship.Sophie takes an approach that is innovative and holistic, addressing all of our daughters needs intuitively and with such care. She has taught our daughter so much about taking care of her physical body, her spiritual care, as well as social and academics. As a result of feeling better as a whole person our daughter is consistently achieving a 4.0 GPA, which is a massive improvement on every level.We highly recommend Sophie as a tutor and mentor.

Sophie has been instrumental in not only helping me develop study and time management skills, but she has gone above and beyond the regular tutor norms. Sophia has had a significant impact on my academic journey and has played a crucial role in getting my academics back on track.What sets Sophia apart from other tutors is her genuine care and support for her students. She has not only been there for me during our tutoring sessions but has also extended her help outside of school. Sophie is a great choice for a tutor! She is thoughtful, communicative, and intelligent. My daughter needed someone who would listen to her and not judge but rather offer support and try different ways to help her. My daughter made great progress with Sophie and learned that she could independently help herself and take pride in her efforts. They spent the second half of sophomore year and the first half of junior year together and my daughters grades steadily improved and put her in position to achieve her goals. Were so lucky to have found Sophie because shes made a world of difference in a relatively short time.

Sophia is a wonderful Chemistry tutor. My son was struggling in Chemistry and she was able to help him understand the material and how to apply it which resulted in better test scores and improvement in his grade. I’m thankful for the Chemistry support Sophia has provided to my son and the positive result we’ve seen in just a short amount of time.

Update to last year’s review below 05/2023:This review is specifically for Sophie’s mentoring. It’s true that “We do better when we FEEL better.” Sophie is an excellent academic tutor, and the way she helps teens achieve excellent outcomes is by helping teens deal with root-issues.Over the course the last year Sophie built a warm and trustworthy rapport with my teen daughter. That relationship has been both a godsend and a lifesaver when the tough times of high school hit. Difficulties are inevitable through the teen years - socially, academically, decision-making…all of it. But the fact that my daughter has a trusted mentor in Sophie, likely helped her have wildly more successful outcomes. Not to mention, a wise confidant and soft place to land.This Mother’s Day I sat in gratitude for the support Sophie has given in this journey of motherhood. Sophie is the age where she bridges the gap between me and my teenager. My husband and I often check in with her when making challenging parenting decisions. We have come to trust her deeply and are deeply grateful for her wisdom. She shares fresh perspective and helps our family come to collaborative decisions that lead to us all feeling better.Parenting isn’t meant to be done alone - and parenting a teen will never be easy, but parenting with the values-based wisdom of Sophie, and having her in my daughter’s corner, makes it exponentially more do-able.My daughter’s grades this year, and hope for her future and truly wonderful (the best theyve ever been actually). My daughter is now intrinsically motivated to excel in school and one day soon open a small business. She has seen Sophie as a model of what its like to be a young, industrious, organized and purposeful professional and business owner. And seeing a young woman be that in the world has inspired my 16 year old to do the same!She has also provided strategic guidance to my daughter, real-time, in the moment, when she encountered relationship issues, navigating conversations with teachers, making wise decisions w/ friends and boyfriends, interviewing for teen jobs, how to present herself professionally, maintaining physical health habits. Sophie has been able to mentor my teen in so many life-areas because of the trust and warmth she builds.We found an educational system and study habits that work for my daughter - we truly could not have done this without Sophie’s knowledge and guidance.*I am grateful that my daughter had a relationship with Sophie BEFORE life and high school got really intense. I cant imagine a more wise decision as a parent than to build a loving community around our children. Sophie is part of the village it takes to raise our children.*Sophie is sensitive, wise and strategic. She has our family’s deepest gratitude.2022 Review:Sophia is a truly wonderful tutor. Sophia has been a great tutor and mentor to me and has helped me not only in school but in my daily life. Sophia is a great tutor! She has helped me so much throughout the year with my english honors class and ap environmental science class. She is very organized and really knows how to communicate with kids. She has helped me bring up my grades for both classes and they are much easier to understand now! I appreciate and recommend her a lot!

Sophia is an amazing tutor! She is knowledgeable, flexible, and patient. She uses wonderful strategies to help and motivate the students. She truly enjoys teaching and kids love working with her as well. She can do both, in person or virtual lessons. I recommend her 100%.
